• Angela (9/5): Fabulous Riad, wonderful staff. - Beautiful hidden gem. Staff couldn't be more helpful & attentive, especially Ilyas, Tarik, Yassine & Fatima. They went above & beyond to make my birthday very special. Rooms are lovely & clean, & the Riad is quiet & peaceful. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pancakes, omelette & Moroccan breads/cakes. The swimming pool was lovely & you can relax around it or head up to the rooftop sunbathing area with fabulous views of the medina. We would definitely recommend Riad Charia. Only downside is it is quite a walk into the medina centre & souks & the cobbled streets are hard on your feet. Takes about 30 minutes depending on your route. Google maps is essential. Watch out for all the mopeds/motorcycles & occasional donkey & cart down the narrow streets!

• Sinead Mitchell (10/5): A perfect stay in a peaceful Riad - One of the best places I’ve stayed. It was the perfect distance from the Medina so easy to walk in and out, the riad was so peaceful, very safe and I loved the pool which was a lot bigger than most Riads and in the sunshine most of the day. The room was beautiful and loved that it had a TV with Netflix and a little fridge. The best thing about the stay was the staff who were so friendly and helpful. The shower filled up quickly and the area can feel a little rough around the edges at night but this didn’t bother us.
• Nadia (10/5): Excellent - The property was amazing, so aesthetically pleasing, clean. The staff were attentive and always had a smile on their faces, a staff member at check in gave us a map and tips on how to navigate marrakech. Location wise it was very easy once you got the hang of it, closest gate bab al jdour 5 was easy to get ubers from. Breakfast was a lovley variety of different things. Special shout out to all the staff for making our stay so special, and to fatima, one of the cleaners she always had a smile on her face, even though we couldn’t speak french she made such an effort to always ask how we were doing! 10/10 no complaints

• Martijn (9/5): Aanrader - Paradijs van rust in een drukke stad. Vergelijk het met een soort van oase in de woestijn Wat verder vanaf de medina, waardoor het met kinderen wel wat verder lopen was. Savonds niet zo'n fijne omgeving. De krolse kat naast de hotel kamer heeft ons iedere nacht wakker gehouden

Trevligt mottagande (sent på natten) med te och karta där värden pekade ut sevärdheter. Alltid väldigt hjälpsam och trevlig personal. Många olika mysiga platser, terrasser, solsängar och soffor att hänga på i hela riaden, både inne och ute, vid poolen och på taket. Duschen och duschprodukterna på rummet var fantastiska. Nätuppkopplingen funkade inte alls på rummet. Vädret... så extra paraply kanske att låna ut på hotellet. Kommunikation via Booking innan. Synd att de inte svarade på våra frågor i meddelandet. Lite mörkt rum men rent och fräscht.

Das Frühstück wurde am Tisch serviert, jeden Tag leicht anders. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Abendessen war etwas enttäuschend. Wir hatten Vorspeise und Hauptgang bestellt und es wurde alles zusammen serviert, da der Chef nach Hause wollte. Die Qualität war aber ok.

• Iulia (7/5): Decent - Beautiful traditional architecture, a lovely garden, and a peaceful, quiet location while still being close to the city center. While we admired the property’s beautiful architecture & found the general cleanliness decent (one of the rooms was really good, one the opposite) we did experience a few drawbacks. One room had water leaking during rain through the roof, and there was a lot of hair in the bed. They decided to change the room & offer us a free dinner, but not the best experience overall. Additionally, one of the staff members was notably unfriendly & passive aggressive and the breakfast was just average.

The location is great, with an easy walk into the medina. Their recommendations were honest, safe and very helpful. The riad has a beautiful traditional style with a strong local character, the food was tasty, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.

• Julia (10/5): Sehr zu empfehlen! - Das Riad liegt zwar nicht unmittelbar in der Medina,dennoch lässt sich vieles gut zu Fuß erreichen. Direkt bei der Ankunft wurde uns die Umgebung gut erklärt. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr sauber. Das Personal immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück lecker und umfangreich. Den Pool haben wir aus Zeitgründen nicht genutzt. Von der Dachterrasse sieht man das Atlasgebirge. Insgesamt ist das Riad sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und die Atmosphäre sehr entspannt. Wir würden wiederkommen. Unser Aufenthalt war zu kurz.
• Geraldine (9/5): Una estancia encantadora en un riad precioso y acogedor - El riad es totalmente fiel a las fotos del establecimiento: un lugar precioso, acogedor y lleno de encanto. El patio, con sus árboles y su atmósfera tranquila, invita a quedarse y disfrutar sin ganas de salir. Gracias por la hospitalidad y la experiencia. Lo que menos nos gustó fue la insonorización. Nos alojamos en la habitación Argan y se escuchaban claramente ruidos provenientes de la habitación de arriba, incluso cuando se utilizaba el baño, lo cual resultaba algo molesto.

Staff were very, very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious. Breakfast and dinner very nice. It is a very pretty Riad...do not worry about the first impression from the outside. Cannot think of anything. It has everything we needed.

• Jennifer (9/5): This Riad made our stay in Marrakech great! - This Riad is what made our stay in Marrakech great! Lovely oasis in the medina. Beautiful lounge areas. Good sized pool for the kids. Great roof terraces for sunbathing or dining. Warm indoor lounge with fire for cool nights. Very helpful and friendly staff, and ability to order food and drink, at all times of day. My daughter has a milk allergy and all the staff were very helpful with the food they made in order to give her yummy things to eat. They made her special cakes and breads in the morning so she was not left out from the amazing breakfasts they served! Beds were a bit hard (I was okay but my husband was not). Walls are thin so you can hear water from above coming down if your room is on the ground floor and sound carries from the halls. We only had a few incidents like this so it was not a big deal overall.

• 610ceeg (10/5): Amazing riad, with exceptional service and hospitality - We had an amazing stay at Riad Charai! Hicham was an exceptional host, friendly, welcoming and attentive. The pictures of the riad online do not do it justice, it is just fantastic! It's peaceful and clean with amazing staff. The breakfast every morning was excellent, and the service was amazing. We were lucly enough to get a room upgrade to the Safran room which was beautifully decorated with lots of light , the sounds of birds in the trees and a terrace to enjoy the sunshine. There is nothing I can say to fault this riad, highly recommended if you want a great, peaceful place to escape the chaos of the Medina. Hicham- thank you so much for everything! We truly enjoyed our stay at Riad Charai Cerisse and Rodney :)

• Fabien (8/5): Malgré des pépins techniques frustrants, l'équipe est aux petits soins et le cadre est superbe, même si c’est un peu - Le personnel est tout simplement formidable : un accueil chaleureux et une équipe aux petits soins tout au long du séjour. Le Riad est d'une propreté exemplaire et la décoration, particulièrement soignée, crée une atmosphère vraiment agréable. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour leur professionnalisme. Première chambre sans chauffage (clim HS), uniquement une cheminée pour compenser. L'équipe nous a gentiment surclassés dans une suite, mais le problème a persisté : cheminée défectueuse qui refoulait la fumée dans la pièce, la rendant inutilisable. Le pire reste les nuisances olfactives : odeurs de feu, encore, remontant de la salle de restauration située juste en dessous et fortes odeurs d'égouts dans la chambre, particulièrement le matin. Malgré la bonne volonté du personnel, les infrastructures ne sont pas à la hauteur du standing annoncé.

De bedste anbefalinger herfra :-) - Jeg synes at indretningen var hyggelig, flot dekoreret og nogle fantastiske omgivelser i vores Riad - Værelset var super. Betjeningen var i top og Hussain som var på hotellet det meste af tiden, som også tog i mod os ved ankomsten, var helt fantastisk. Rolig, altid hjælpsom, og lyttende og kom med gode råd til hvad der var værd at se, udover de planer vi selv havde. Fantastik ophold hvor alle var søde og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden var lidt det samme hver dag. Ikke dårlig, men kunne godt indeholde mere frugt at flere eller nyere morgenmads retter hver dag.

• Anne (9/5): Un très bon séjour de 3 nuits dans un androit très agréable bien placé dans la marina à 20 mn de la place. - Lieu très bien aménagé et joli. Tout y est: la terrasse, la piscine, le solarium. Les chambres sont agréables et la literie est bonne L isolation phonique n est pas très bonne et la pression de l eau dans la douche n était pas suffisante

Leider haben wir uns in der Gegend etwas unwohl gefühlt. Das Riad liegt inmitten von ruhigen und dunklen Gassen. Bis zum belebten Zentrum läuft man ca. 10 Minuten. Allerdings haben wir keine schlechten Erfahrungen gemacht.
• Isono (6/5): トータルでは合格点だけど、次もまた絶対ここに来たいとは思わないかな - スタッフはフレンドリーで、リヤドの内装も素敵でした。お部屋は広く心配していたシャワーの出も申し分なく、夜は静かで過ごしやすかったので、楽しい滞在となりました。朝ごはんはヨーグルトや卵などもあり、スタッフの気遣いが感じられました。ミントティーもとっても美味しかったです。 着いて早々レセプション前のトイレからゴキブリが出てきたのだけはショックでした。スタッフに伝えたらすぐに処理してもらえましたが、、もしお部屋にも出たらと思うと気が気ではありませんでした。幸いそれ以来出会うことはありませんでしたが。 2日目にチップを置き忘れてしまったら、明らかに替えてほしいとわかる置き方をしていたもの含めて全てのタオル類が交換されていなく、夜フロントに頼んでもこれしかないと明らかに裏方用とわかるボロボロのものを2枚渡されただけでした。翌日チップを置いたらあからさまにバッチリかえられていて笑ってしまいました。 朝ごはんは残念ながらパンが冷めていて脂臭いことが多く、あまり美味しいとはいえませんでした。 場所はかなり寂しいところにあり、女性の一人旅にはあまりおすすめできないと思いました。

It was everything and more than we could hav - The property is just a magical oasis going through a door from the street into a haven of peace and tranquility. Highly recommend it. If you are not great on your feet the taxi cannot get to it easily. So a 5-8 minute walk is required.

It was everything and more than we could have dreamt it to be. The Riad (Riad Charai) was the most stunning of places - an oasis of calm and tranquility in the heart of the bustling Medina. The Riad was beautiful, clean and immaculately presented. The food was fabulous and the staff were incredible. We want to say a massive thank you to Houssam from Riad Charai who went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for him. All very reassuring as it was our first trip there. He was so kind to us both and helped us with anything we needed. Every day a lovely welcome from Houssam and all the other staff. Would highly recommend this Riad and especially if Houssam is there. Thank you for making our trip one to remember. Marrakech is a beautiful place to visit.

Le Riad est très joliment décoré, notre chambre était classique mais il y avait tout le nécessaire et les équipements étaient de bonne qualité. Nous avons dîner un soir sur le rooftop du Riad c’était très bon. Les déjeuner sont copieux et très bons . Nous avons passé un bon séjour. Je recommande Merci encore Navette aéroport réservée avec le Riad car départ très tôt nous avons trouvé le prix un peu excessif. Le prix des excursions proposés (nous n’avons pas fait via le Riad)

• ALAIN (9/5): Excellent séjour pour ceux qui aiment un peu marcher en s'immergeant dans la Médina. - Le cadre est accueillant et joliment décoré un havre de paix, le Riad est au calme les toits terrasses ont une vue dégagé sur la médina, excellent pour se reposer. Le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux . Le personnel est chaleureux et dévoué notamment HOUSSAM ainsi que ZAKIRA qui font preuves d'une extrême gentillesse au top. La cuisine est simple, les premiers souks sont à 10 minutes à pied. La télé dans les chambres son fonctionnement reste aléatoire.
• Gauhar (8/5): Petite perle en pleine médina de Marrakech - Localisation agréable, avec un extérieur très spacieux incluant la partie piscine/jardin et terrasses qui sont les points forts de l'établissement ! Le personnel est au petits soins, même si la variété du petit-déjeuner proposé pourrait être améliorée ! Les lits étaient particulièrement durs, plutot inconfortables.

Riad dans la médina pratique pour circuler Petit déjeuner copieux et varié sur les 4 nuits de mon séjour. Réservation d’une chambre double exécutive avec vue sur jardin, j’ai eu une chambre sans aucune fenêtre sur l’extérieur, aucune vue jardin, chambre très chaude, très mal insonorisée et wifi défaillant dans la chambre. Salle de bains minuscule. Je suis venue plusieurs fois dans ce Riad mais j’ai été un peu déçue de cette dernière visite. Plus de hammam dans l’établissement et malgré ma demande aucune adresse ne m’a ete fournie. Abdel et son collègue intervenant la journée font leur maximum pour trouver des solutions et satisfaire les clients en revanche Zakaria donne l’impression qu’on le dérange plus qu’autre chose ce qui est dommage.
• Soraya (5/5): Hay sitios mejores y más baratos - La piscina y la decoración estaban bien… El sitio en si estaba bien, pero para el precio que es creo que vale la pena otro sitio… El desayuno dejaba que desear la verdad… Encima había cierto personal que parecía que no tuviera ganas de trabajar. Un poco desagradables y aparte no se dieron cuenta de que yo hablaba árabe y escuché como hablaban entre ellos como si les estuviera molestando. Les pedí que me dejaran las maletas ya que hicimos el check out a las 12am y nuestro avión salía a las 23 pm.. nos dijeron que como no había espacio teníamos que pagar 20€ para dejar las maletas… primero me dijo 20€, luego que iba a consultar con el manager o supuesto manager, luego me dijo 5€ y finalmente me acabó diciendo 12€ hasta las 20pm Encima dejaron TODO mi equipaje en la recepción medio escondido pero a la vista de todo el mundo… que por pagar 12€ ya podrían haberlo guardado en algún otro lugar… Por la tarde el otro chico que estaba al escucharme hablar en árabe fue más simpático la verda d pero vaya que por precio hay riads mucho mejores…

Piscine spacieuse, lieu calme et apaisant, bains de soleil sur une terrasse à l’écart disponible, petit déjeuner typique délicieux. Superbe adresse à Marrakech !!
