Guest Reviews
- Stephen (8/5): Loved this park - its small size makes for an intimate experience; superb location and great facilities. - Superb location overlooking the river.
Immaculately kept grounds.
Modern state of the art facilities block.
Small size of the park makes for a unique experience. The bed in the unit we had was quite firm and a bit uncomfortable.
- Claire (10/5): A little escape, very easy access from M1. - Immaculately clean. Large cabins with beautiful views, and modern decor. Easy to access, just off the M1, but felt like a millions miles away.
- sarah (7/5): -
- Joanne (8/5): Cute, clean and tidy. Beautiful location - Had everything we needed in a small compact space. Clean and tidy, riverside location was beautiful. The noise from the road but there wasn’t a lot of traffic so it’s not too bad. We were two single women and the futon in the tiny home was not at all comfortable for sleeping on. But that was an error in booking on my behalf. Perfect for a couple or single.
- Gillian (10/5): Fantastic! - Location was lovely- beautiful little place! Nil
- Karen (8/5): - Very cute tiny home with very comfortable bed. Accomodation right on the road so road noise right outside bedroom wall.
- Lisa (10/5): -
- Gabrielle (10/5): A comfortable, immaculately clean and friendly stay - A small, riverfront park with beautiful surrounds. The entire park is evidently cared for and immaculately clean with lovely features like a community garden and boat ramp. We stayed in a tiny home for a night travelling Bris to Mel, and we would have loved to stay longer. Proximity to Bellingen and other gorgeous spots is a bonus. Very quiet and relaxing place to stay.
- Annette (7/5): Great place to spend a weekend. Very nice staff . - Beautiful setting and very nice tiny house
- Jessica (10/5): -
- Orasa (8/5): - The room nice and clean. Next to the river ,feel relax and have big glass are for kids run around. The staff so friendly. Nice to stay in this place.
- Napadeline (6/5): -
- leanda (10/5): - Staff were friendly, helpful, and sincere. I have rebooked for next year Nothing
- Jodie (8/5): - The tiny house moved when walking
- Bernice (6/5): - It was a Tiny House. Top spec but difficult to get in and out of bed due to narrow space and a large tv on the wall
- Andrew (6/5): Tiny home - Tiny home accomodation was awesome but location was disappointing as they were next to a busy road if they was relocated to river park it would be for future clients
I don’t think we will be revisiting this location
- Belinda (10/5): - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Bellingen Tourist Park is absolutely beautiful! The cabin was spotless and so comfortable, with perfect views across the countryside. I felt completely safe here as a solo female traveler, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The location is peaceful, the atmosphere welcoming, and it’s a wonderful base to explore the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and secure getaway.
- Anthony (10/5): - Catherine was very obliging and helpful.
- Curtis (9/5): Wished we had another day to enjoy the district more. Courtesy bus service from the pub was excellent - Riverbank siting is terrific, great camp kitchen Tiny Home rocks!
- Michala (10/5): Great family stay. - Amazing location and facilities to spend quality time with the family. Right on the river and the hire out fire pits to have little camp fires.
- Yvette (9/5): -
- Leighton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheryl (7/5): Family trip - Larger bed was comfortable, lovely pillows, carpark.
Nice park.
Dog friendly.
Very quiet in noise
Scan and out in key to park. Not suitable for 3 Adult.
My husband and Son ,Myself. Plus a dog.
Sofa bed not comfortable at all.
Very bad night sleep, sore back in morning.
Not room between beds.
We do have a photo.
- Rex (8/5): - We didn’t like first opening of the door, there was an animal smell and the bed hadn’t been made, a word to the office & we went visiting my son, while staff cleaned & prepared the cabin for us, all was good and our stay was great. The deck needs a waterproof roof as the rain was nonstop leaving the deck dangerous & slippery.
- Matt (7/5): Good - Tiny home had everything we needed, warm and comfortable for the one night stay. Staff were exceptional and helpful with a gorgeous scenic view over the river. Found a dog bed under the chair, I obviously skipped that before booking and could have been the reason I needed to air out the cabin before sleeping.
Can be noisy for light sleepers with cars driving past, and the trains.
- Dara (8/5): - good for overnight
- Shane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Billy (10/5): - Friendly staff. Clean facilities and well maintained.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Frank (6/5): Pleasant - well stocked with all you need to be self sufficient
herb garden was a nice touch no exactor fan - smoke alarm activated on cooking
difficult for second person to get in and out of bed as you need to climb over the other
air-con didn't work (turned on but didn't cool) - when 30C and sunny, it was like a sauna, walls were hot!
nothing within walking distance
- Janel (10/5): - This is a spot for overnight or long term accommodation.
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Airi (10/5): - Beautiful clean room
- Adriana (8/5): Very good -
- Nerida (10/5): Lovely place to relax 😌 - Location, cleanest, fantastic views Nothing not to like
- Cathy (9/5): Superb - The tiny home was comfortable and well appointed. The shower was fabulous. The nearby camp kitchen supplemented the home kitchen. The location was beautiful right on the water.
- Mitchell (7/5): Good - Close to the race track The tiny home gets hot very quickly, the fold out couch when in use blocks the main bed from getting any access to the rest of the room
- Miranda (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and quiet spot for a few days. Beautiful little tiny home with everything I needed
- Christina (9/5): Absolutely lovely place to stay. Would recommend it to everyone - Friendly people were in contact with me after I asked a few questions. They were very accommodating. They were the relief managers. Nothing at all
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful and clean. Lovely staff. Had everything we needed. Will be booking to stay again.
- Silipa (7/5): Good -
- Harry (10/5): - Best ever sleep in the tiny home, wished I had 1 in the backyard!
Nice location, friendly staff
- Lorena (9/5): Lovely tiny house - Love the tiny house bec it's new, very clean. Its kitchen is mini with portable stove, but it is conveniently close to the common kitchen/dining area if you want a proper kitchen. Walking distance to the river if you love fishing. The lady at the reception was very nice and very kind enough to wait for us so we could check in properly. The layout of the house could have been better. The bedroom is close to the road so it gets really noisy. The bed is pushed to the wall which makes it hard to climb into the bed. No proper dining table. The verandah is facing the road instead of the river.
- Linzi (9/5): Great little park right on the river - Fantastic location, excellent cabin overlooking the river.
Very clean and well stocked with what we needed.
Quiet, well appointed park with just what you need and fantastic views. The riverside cabin was great! Nothing but seemed to be no wifi if that’s likely to put people off
- Rhea Mae (10/5): - I love their tiny home
- Shane (10/5): Exceptional - excellent place to stay nice and quiet and relaxing really good fishing and it's got it's own boat ramp
- Kelly (9/5): Great place to stay and fish. - The waterfront location The mosquitoes
- Joe (9/5): Nice place - Nice place to stay next to the river. The Unit was nice and I would stay again
- Jenny (9/5): Great spot for a relaxing stay with lovely riverside views - It is a beautiful location & the cabins take full advantage of this. The cabin was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Nothing
- Chris (9/5): Glorious...cld not ask for better location. With great waterfront views - Location was splendid. Couldn't ask for better...right on the bellinger River.
great, relaxing time watching the fish jumping, trains go past just up the river, ducks & pelicans swimming/floating by and the watercraft speeding past. Kookaburras 'laughing' in the early morning & at sunset.
Great! House shook/trembled whenever folk walked around in/on it!
Was attached to property next door..
- Christopher (10/5): Celebrated a birthday party there - Everything it was well worth the money the tiny home was the best it had everything you needed it makes us want to buy one we will definitely be back one day in the future What wasn't there to like and enjoy everything was just perfect
- Joseph (10/5): - The villas have an epic view are very clean and modern with lots of appliances and amenities. (only issue was no oven in our cabin only a microwave)
Its a very relaxing campground not for small kids but ok for older and teens who are into river sports / Fishing. Very close to Bellingen and a short drive to the beach.
Friendly and helpful staff!
- Mozzybe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (9/5): Superb -
- John (8/5): - We really enjoyed our stay. Stayed in “the tiny home” which was a new and enjoyable experience. Great setting on the river. Park itself well equipped with camp kitchen and a few other b-b-que spots by the river. Tiny home itself well equipped. Can be a little noisy as by the road but okay. Only a few kms drive to the north beach bowling club. Would certainly stay again
- John (8/5): - We really enjoyed our stay. Stayed in “the tiny home” which was a new and enjoyable experience. Great setting on the river. - Steve (10/5): A great place to get away for a few days - Location, size of cabin, comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen area. The friendliness and helpfulness of management and staff was exceptional. When I suffered a puncture in one of my car's tyres and the local Bridgestone workshop said they had no time to even look at my car, the manager of the Bellinger River Tourist Park and his groundsmen went out of their way and mended the puncture for me!
- Leonie (9/5): Superb -
- Mcintosh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nou (9/5): Superb -
- Tarja (8/5): Great stop on the way to QLD - Good stop on the way to QLD, easy to access. Comfortable tiny house. Great to be able to bring furry family member. Comfortable bed.
- Jade (10/5): - Great place to stay, i actually liked the lack of phone service and wifi as we are from the city and wanted to get away. All 3 kids had a ball, will be back!
- Cat (5/5): Passable - Beautiful view of river, nice and quiet. Villa is up on stilts, wobbles the entire time, particularly noticeable and annoying when trying to go to sleep. Hot water didn't work, had maintainence try to assist a couple times, worked out we had to run tap at same time just to keep hot water working, such a waste of water. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Advertised kitchenette had an oven, packed food accordingly, no oven! Had a conventional microwave but no enamel tray to be able to use function. Very frustrating.
- Sue (8/5): Very good -
- Nelia (8/5): Very good -
- Justin (10/5): Clean, friendly and picturesque. We’ll definitely come back. - Beautiful location by the river. Easy to get to and plenty to do in the surrounding towns. Nothing.
- Jill (10/5): We will definitely be back . - Beautiful location on the river and so peaceful. Being able to have a fire pit was amazing, we had such an awesome time. Thank you. Nothing it was perfect
- Jennings (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect place to switch off and relax , quiet and close enough to towns so you don’t feel like
You are in the middle of nowhere The little sway the cabin did when anyone walked around
- Nathan (6/5): Pleasant - the host was very accommodating due to discrepencies with the booking.com website the villa felt like it was going to fall down, like actually collapse, it felt like a trampoline
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A lovely spot & a handy Club for dinner. A bit too handy to the Motorway so noisy at night.
- Zane (7/5): Good -
- Erica (9/5): Clean and comfortable tiny house. - We arrived after checkin hours, but the host was so kind to leave a envelop with the key and instructions in a self-checkin box. Furthermore, we had to move our booking because something came up. The new date did not seem available, but after asking it was made available for us. So thanks a lot that we could stay here. It is a beautiful nice tiny house. We only stayed for 1 night since it was just an in between stop from our travel along the east coast and we did not have more time. We did not use the kitchen (only for breakfast). I am not sure if you can really cook something here. The kitchen supplies are very limited.
- Heiko (9/5): Superb - nice location no complains
- Li (8/5): Very good - The hot water run out while I was in the shower.
- Clare (8/5): Very good -
- Paula (9/5): Refreshed! Will be back. - Best cabins I’ve stayed in. Clean, nice furniture and all the things I needed! Nothing worse than arriving in a cabin to find half the utensils you need to cook are t there. Needed for nothing. Location was great, but further out of town but made for a quieter time.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elise (9/5): Superb -
- Kylie (10/5): - Katherine was lovely, very friendly & helpful. Happy to answer all my questions. The villa was clean, beautifully presented & well maintained. Would definitely recommend a stay here & I’ll definitely be returning.
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Joanna (9/5): Superb -
- Gail (8/5): Accommodation on Bellinger River - Gorgeous position on the river and central to other townships. The unit rocked whenever someone, either in the same unit or in the attached unit walked about. A feeling like seasickness was experienced and rather unpleasant. More cross beams need to be welded on the supports to stop this movement. Unit itself was very clean and modern.
- Tina (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (6/5): - The hot water in the shower would go from hot to cold and back every minute. The stovetop and splash back was filthy. I have taken photos if required.
- Simoa (8/5): Clean & quiet property. Great location! -
- Manda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meredith (9/5): A good place for an overnight stay. - It was self contained and had everything we needed. The river nearby was lovely. It was beside a noisy road
- Diane (8/5): Very good -
- Ben (9/5): Superb - the unit was amazing and clean, super happy with it keen for our next stay just wish the parking was a little better due to the rain the mud was kind of bad, but still super happy, they supplied a concrete pad for parking which was a nice work around not a big issue just a little messy
- Karen (10/5): Wow - The staff and fellow holidayers were absolutely beautiful. Very relaxed atmosphere and the scenery just lovely. There is nothing to not like
- Kerry (8/5): Very good - Friendly staff peaceful location clean . Issues with the shower. Wasn't working no hot water
- Ina (8/5): Very good -
- Tonja (9/5): Superb -
- Beth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mollie (9/5): Convenient beautiful location with a comfortable few nights sleep - The location is great. Quiet and serene yet surrounded by families.
Loved the vegie garden which came in use for our salad.
We stayed in the 2 bed apartment and it was perfect and offered us everything we needed.
Its a shame we couldn't stay for a week.
Its suoer close to Sawtell and Coffs.
Comfy beds. Aircon. No wifi so we couldn't watch Netflix but we had eachother to play games with and keep entertained.
- Zinat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glenys (7/5): Spacious well-equipped apartment overlooking the Belliger River but no Wifi esp for the $ was not ac - The spacious, modern unit overlooking the Bellinger River is in a beautiful setting. The apartment's on stilts so you're up with the birds. Its lovely sitting on the patio looking out over the river, catching the breeze, over a cuppa or glass of wine. Good size kitchen for homecooking to save on eating out. The dining table is large, the bathroom too small for more than 2 people and the main bedroom is spacious with a comforable bed and nice linen. No WiFi. Not acceptable in this day and age and certainly not for the price of this accommodation. Its unreasonable to expect guests to rely on their mobile network provider because the network's coverage may not be good in that area and their signal poor. So guests have no internet access for maps in particular, free streaming services like ABC iview or SBS On Demand etc..
- Steve (10/5): A perfect place for a quick getaway. We will go there again. - Perfect setting right on the river. Parking beneath the cabin. Large room sizes. Friendly staff who were quick to remedy a faulty TV. Choice of coffee types available to be purchased from the machine. Convenient location for access to Coffs Harbour and Bellingen. Almost no mobile coverage and very poor internet service. A few trains passed during the day and also in the middle of the night but we got used to it by keeping the windows closed.
- Sophie (9/5): Lovely stay - Such a lovely place! This small tourist park is very well maintained. We stayed in a villa, on stilts, with comfy beds, aircon, full kitchen and beautiful views. The villas wobble a little when people in the adjoining villa are walking around. Not a problem at all, just takes a bit of getting used to.
- Slavica (10/5): Exceptional - very quiet place
