• Friedrich (6/5): - Leider ist das Bayfront in die Jahre gekommen und müsste dringend mal auf Vordermann gebracht werden. Die Wege in der Anlage müssten mal saniert werden auch die Schweimmbecken..Die Liegen und die Sonnenschirme erneuert werden..Die Klimaanlagen sind zu laut das man schlafen kann.. Denke das war das letzte Mal das wir da waren.

Sengene var litt harde, men fikk ekstra madrass ved forespørsel. Et lite stykke inn til Khao lak sentrum, men lett å få tak i taxi. Lite som skjer på hotellet etter solnedgang.

• Cheryl (8/5): - Beautiful rooms with comfortable bed and furniture. We had a deluxe room on the second floor, which I would recommend as gives you some privacy. Nice beach to walk and swim. Breakfast buffet was good. We had dinner a couple of times at the hotel and there's also a little restaurant in walking distance on the beach. All staff were really helpful and pleasant. Beautiful gardens and 2 inviting pools. Guests put their towels on the seat at 6:30 in the morning, but by the second pool, you could usually find a chair anytime in the day. I usually ignore comments when they say you cannot walk, but in this case, it is true a busy hilly road dangerous road to walk 7-Eleven or stores restaurants. Lots of smokers with no designated smoking area.
• ANTONIO JOSÉ (10/5): - Maravilloso sitio, tranquilo a más no poder, dos piscinas y la segunda piscina acaba donde empieza la playa, habitaciones muy buenas y limpias,atención del personal excelente como en toda Tailandia en general, desayuno muy bueno, por poner alguna cosa negativa sería que hay pocas opciones alrededor del hotel, en taxi a khaolak se tarda 5', si quieres fiesta no es tu hotel, si quieres disfrutar de tranquilidad si, Telo recomiendo.

• ANGELA (4/5): - The Khaolak Bayfront Resort has an older charm, which some might appreciate, but I found it to be just okay overall. The beachfront is undoubtedly its standout feature—absolutely stunning and the main highlight of the stay. However, communication can be a challenge as the staff’s English proficiency is limited, making it difficult to resolve issues or ask for assistance. The restaurant, unfortunately, fell short of expectations. The menu offerings are not very diverse, portions are surprisingly small (e.g., just four shrimp for a full plate of dinner), and prices are on the higher side. When I requested help to address these concerns, the response was not accommodating, which added to the frustration. To make matters worse, there was a mix-up involving the food order, and instead of resolving the issue, the manager attempted to charge me without fully understanding the situation. This led to a very disappointing customer experience. Overall, while the beachfront is wonderful, the outdated facilities, communication barriers, and disappointing dining experience leave much room for improvement.
• Roger (2/5): Rummer stank av mögel!!!! - Rummet stank av mögel! Blev ännu värre med AC igång. Bodde där sån tur var bara en natt, ångrar att vi inte sa till direkt. Synd att ett så fint hotell där allt annat är tiptop inte sköter rummen o AC bättre. När vi kom till nästa hotell fick vi tvätta alla kläder vi haft på oss och även de nedpackade kläderna stank. Övrig var allt annat superbra. Skön säng, rent, trevlig personal. God frukostbuffe.
• Keanu (10/5): Beautiful Khao Lak Bayfront Resort - I really enjoyed the beautiful, landscaping and relaxing feel at this property. excellent design throughout also and fantastic pristine beach and ocean with breathtaking views of all around. Khao Lak is my new favorite Thailand destination to relax. With great activities, nearby, snorkeling, elephant, home and even surfing rentals. It’s a 30 minute walk into town to get basic groceries , bottled water and beer. Easy to get a truck tuk to return to the hotel. It would be great to have a more secure, sliding door, locking mechanism. Overall this is an awesome resort to stay at n I’ll definitely return n tell others !!

• William (10/5): - We were there in May, 2024. The rooms are a bit old but they're good & have all the basics. They provided a mattress topper on the day we arrived when the bed was too hard. They provided us mosquito spray as the mosquitos are pretty bad given the time of year. They also provided free scooter parking for the scooter we hired. Would definitely return if staying in Khao Lak again.

Suffisamment de transats. Personnel sympathique. La réception n’est pas très cosy mais le reste était très agréable. Recommandé!

Badstolar vid stranden. Hotellets läge är fantastiskt. Enkel och proffsig incheckning. Bra servicenivå. Ett hotell att verkligen koppla av på till 100 %. Rekommenderas starkt för par.

Das Hotel wird instand gehalten und hat eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Viele Urlauber kommen schon zum x.ten Male her, oder sind Dauergast. Bayfront immer wieder gerne!!

• Christian (10/5): - Sehr schöne grüne und gepflegte Hotelanlage direkt am Meer. Der Strand ist leider sehr Schmutzig, was Ich in diesem ausmaß für Thailand selten erlebt habe, wie Teer an den Füßen, und Plastik ohne ende. Aber für den Schmutz kann das Hotel ja nichts.

• Andrea (8/5): Buen resort junto al mar - Las instalaciones están muy bien. La habitación era grande y la cama muy cómoda. Eso si, el desayuno deja muchísimo que desear. Poca variedad y mala calidad. Las piscinas y la playa estaban muy bien.
• Anders (8/5): Fin liten pärla vid havet - En fint litet hotell med en fantastisk strand. Solstolar vid de båda poolerna Och vid stranden. Det var att stiga upp tidigt om man vill ha plats. God mat och prisvärd i restaurangen. Det negativa är att det är tillåtet med rökning överallt. Jättefin jul och nyårsmiddag som blev fördärvat av rökande bordsgrannar. Kommer gärna tillbaka men förbjud rökning.

• Colin (10/5): - This is an excellent property on the beach with their own support facilities. A very good Thai style seafood restaurant about ten minutes drive south. We did two one day trips to Andaman sea islands and they were each very enjoyable and informative. The hotel is good for families and couples.

• Lars Magne (8/5): Koselig hotell på fantastisk strand! - Var der i 4 uker! Koselig hotell beliggende på stranda. Hyggelig personale. De Lux rommene litt rare synes vi, «tekjøkken» og garderobe inne på badet! Det likte ikke vi. Byttet rom etter 14 dgr til standard rom som var mye bedre enn såkalte de lux rom. Litt lenger å gå til stranda men det var uansett ikke langt. Vi var eneste nordmenn der nå, mest tyskere.

• annette (10/5): Dejligt strand hotel - Rigtig dejligt hotel, direkte ved stranden. Flot udsigt over bugten og fantastiske solnedgange hver aften. Hotellet er hyggeligt og meget charmerende med masser af planter og blomster. Dejligt morgenmadsområde og personalet er hjælpsomme og venlige. Ca 1 1/2 km ind til byen, enten dejlig gåtur langs stranden eller på fortov langs hovedvejen. Mange spisesteder, butikker mm i Khao Lak. Absolut et hotel der kan anbefales.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - The Expedia rate was excellent for this property which is in a nice quiet location on the beach at Khao Lak, and a short taxi ride (100-150 Baht each way) from the main street. The room was pleasant but it was not initially the "beach-side" bungalow I thought I was getting, but one set 3 rows back with a beach view just about. That changed however when we complained about a noisy aircon unit that they couldn't fix quickly so they moved us to a vacant beachside bungalow with just a strip of grass and sun-loungers between us and the beach. That was nice and the sunset views from the room were spectacular. Nice friendly staff - always willing to help, good breakfast buffet and lunch choices, (didn't try dinner there). A couple of nice pools in the centre of the property with one just back from the beach.

Dejlig rolig afslappet stemning og mega sødt og hjælpsomt personale. To fine pools, strandstole og Masser af håndklæder👌 Lidt mere tryk på vandet i bruseren havde været super, men ikke noget problem. Vil bestemt gerne tilbage til dette hotel. I kort gåafstand ligger helt forrygende billig restaurant med autentisk thaimad, så ingen grund til at gå helt op i byen. Steder får samlet set mine aller bedste anbefalinger🙂🙂🙂

• Viktoria (8/5): Nice hotel at the beach - Nice hotel at the beach and 5 min with tuk tuk to city. Good service and ok breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean but might need a renovation. The area is quite and full of old people and if you have kids you might not feel so welcome. The pools are big, warm and clean.

We were really pleased that although the Bayfront was so reasonably priced, it's located on such a nice beach and actually still walkable to the little town to the north (20 min walk on beach or sidewalk). Such good value! Love the fact that this hotel is not a huge imposing resort that has taken over the jungle but instead it feels like this hotel has respected nature and was built in the jungle. Warning: this hotel is not a great place if you're looking for a fun party atmosphere. Most people staying at this resort are retirees, families with young children, and some young people looking for a quiet retreat. The only two minor disappointments we had with this hotel were a few ants in our room because of a gap between our hotel room door and the floor and the airport transfer the hotel arranged for our trip home. The van they arranged was over a half hour late because the driver was coming from a previous job driving someone to the airport. I think the hotel staff thought he could make it but they were cutting it too close and this made our whole trip home more stressful than it needed to be.

It's an easy walk into town but if you don't feel up to it there are plenty of cheap taxi's to take care of that. Staff are all super friendly. I would thouroughly recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away from the maddening crowd to chill out,
• John (10/5): Lovely location, relaxed and well run hotel. - Beautiful tropical gardens full of animal and plant life. Staff friendly and helpful. Location excellent with quiet beach, 100 baht taxi into Khao Lak centre. Would return tomorrow! Breakfast was very good and the staff were attentive.
