Guest Reviews
- Emily (10/5): - Bug rooms, clean, nice set up. Very quiet and cozy. We love the balconies that each room has, it makes the stay a lot more enjoyable and private
- Emily (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. And the staff was very friendly and courteous. Will stay definitely stay again
- Lindsay (8/5): - The property was nice all and all; especially compared to the surrounding hotels/motels. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The wifi q
Was limited to the room,:for examples if uou go downstairs to your car you wont recieve wifi. Overall good fit
- George (6/5): - It’s not the kind of establishment I’m used to going to and also the security is not good at all. My vehicle had items stolen out of it and a individual came to my room claiming he had the wrong room and then had the nerve to come back again at which point I didn’t open my door for and he eventually left.
- lillianc (2/5): Disappointed - In looking online, the hotel looked very nice. Nice photos. When we got to the hotel, it looked like the photos on the outside (or facade), but the rooms were dated, dark, dingy and ugly. Also, the sheets were smelly -- kind of like the type of smell when you leave the sheets in the washing machine for days and forget to take them out to put them in the dryer -- that kind of a smell.
We stayed because of the rate per night and convenience to the area we wanted to stay. All the other hotel rates nearby were pretty high.
- Barry (2/5): - Dirty, dated , unkept property. Avoid it
- Justin (6/5): - The room was clean and odor free. My only major complaint is that there are roaches in the room. I didnt see them until a couple of hours later. On the floor in the bathroom and crawling on the headboard.
- Tzvi (4/5): - Very noisy at night. Ppl down the hall were eating late and making noise
- Verified traveler (4/5): Keep your expectations low. - If you only need a place to crash.
Don't expect good treatment.
- anon (8/5): - For the price in the area it was what I'd have expected.
- Los (2/5): Horrible - After booking my room, the bozos gave my room away leaving me without housing. The dude did not care.
- Lien Hai (6/5): You get what you pay for. - The heater is super noisy.
The room smells strongl chemical scent.
- Katelynn (10/5): Best stay - It was great stay
- Kem (8/5): The room was clean and comfortable. - The hotel manager and staff are good. When we felt mosquitoes, the staff agreed to switch another room and cleaned the previous room.
- K859CQamandar (2/5): Bad motel - Creepy. Poor management and the room looked dirty. I walked into the room and checked out of the hotel. Didn't see any bugs. Will never go there again. Don't ever go to this place. I have seen better places. This place is a disgrace.
- Venkata pst (6/5): - There are many things missing like iron and iron board. And closet door is damaged one. landline is not working.
- david (4/5): motel - I don't have anything good to say except there's a Wendy's and a liquor store across the street, thank God.
- tony (4/5): no frills - I booked a non-smoking room on hotels.com but got assigned a smoking one that reeked of tobacco. The person at the front desk was able to switch me to a non-smoking one. There was a water leak somewhere in the bathroom.
- Steve (4/5): New owners - not sure how to run a hotel - Only stayed from 9 PM until 6 AM the next night, but the check in was very slow. The couple at the desk seemed like they couldn't figure out anything, from finding a hotels.com reservation through making an electronic key. The place itself is a dump, but if all you want to do is sleep cheap near S. Brunswick NJ, this is as good a place as any. The rooms were relatively modern with fridge & microwave, but there are no other major amenities except wi-fi. Forget about the TV - they haven't subscribed to the majority of available channels. Bring a book.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel in comfortable price - Stayed for two days for my business trip. Room was nice and clean. Helpful front desk. Did not used any services. Had wired internet, which worked with me very well. Overall a nice stay for me.
- 636kevinn (2/5): Bed Bugs - Management do not acknowledge complaint - I stayed at this hotel in Room 205 on the 22nd and 23rd June.. After check out, I broke into pimples and red rashes as a result of bed bugs. The itching was serious for a week and I was extremely miserable. Its 4 weeks and I have already been on 2 doses of antibiotics and it its effected me so badly that I have scars and an swelling all over. During my stay, they did not clean the room after the first night stay. When I complained today to Praveen at the office, he replied stating that they do not have bed bugs and dropped the call on me. This is pathetic as a manager at the hotel, he did not posses the dignity to acknowledge my complaint despite the fact that numerous other people have the same about this hotel.. I find this shocking and appalling and I will take them to legal... My life over the last 4 weeks has been so disrupted, all because of bed bugs... Really appalled..
- RockyR135 (4/5): We're not all bad - Hey, be a little respectful. Those people that make you feel so uncomfortable to be around are the same people who are here to get your power back on and remove all the fallen trees that are blocking the roads.
I know this because I got here just before you did and I'm one of those people. I've actually taken the time to talk to some of them and they are not dangerous people at all.
You are right about the condition of the place though. And about the people at the front desk. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone either. All of us low life's are here because we can't afford anything better while we're up here working on cleaning up after the hurricane. So rag on the condition of the motel, not about the very people who are here to help you get back into your home.
Signed...
"Those" People
- ASAP_12 (2/5): Aweful Motel and Cheat (PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!) - I went to this hotel during the power outage (11/3/2012) due to Sandy. The hotel staff looked very suspicious. But because we had no power at home and wanted to avoid the dropping temperatures outside we decided to reserve the room. The hotel owner quickly realized our situation with little kids and took advantage and offered us the room for $90.00 per night. Further more we were asked to pay upfront and no receipt was given!!! After paying we decided to wait in the parking but a quick look around at the crowd staying there we realized what a huge mistake we were making. Even my kids looked unhappy and unwilling to go in after seeing what they saw around them. I immediately went in and cancelled my reservation and guess what?? The owner quickly grabbed the key and turned away from me. I asked could you please refund my money as I did not even step in the room and was trying to park he simply did not turn around and just shook his head. Can any of few let me know where I lodge a formal complaint so that this could be avoided for many others in furture.
- michell1999 (2/5): Dirty - I stayed in room 205 n the next day I was itching like crazy only to discover the itching was due to bed bugs. I stayed at that hotel the month before also but was on first floor and I was ok. Sometimes cheap and familiarity is not always the best. When I called to report it to the office they rushed me off phone and did not even offer my money back.
- ladyace8 (2/5): It was discustingly dirty! - The worst motel ever. It was very dirty. Carpets not cleaned. Sheets were dirty. Comforters were stained brown on the inside like they have NEVER been washed. Asked for new sheets and had to argue with housekeeping for 10 minutes before they even gave them to us. Pillows are flat and dingy. Nightstands were dirty with food stains. Pictures on walls were broken with the broken glass still in them. It was just horrible. We ended up leaving without refund due to the fact they "claimed" it was clean. Yeah right! Would never recommend to anyone. Discusting place.
