- Andrew (10/5): A great way to get a taste of Bondi Beach. And swim, a must for any keen body surfers or board riders. - The location is sensational. It has experienced staff on the front desk. Proper showers with hot water, unlike Qt hotel a few doors up. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. I was there mid week so was very quiet but would imagine it would be noisy on weekends or peak season. They provide earplugs free. But be realistic you are staying opposite one of the best beaches in Sydney above a pub. Great common area on each floor which is a large balcony to relax have breakfast, whatever. And the view is Bondi beach, the pavilion and the ocean. Restaurant downstairs in pub has good, reasonably priced food. Spanish style Pork cutlet I had was very tasty Nothing. I knew I was staying in an older style building. As far as amenities you’d probably call it 3.5 star. But the location and staff are great. Beach towels provided free of charge. I left very happy after my stay and would have no hesitation going back.

- Olga (10/5): Супер отель в крутом месте - Отель имеет историю более с 1919 года. Ночью он красиво светится в темноте, его можно увидеть издалека. Находится на первой линии знаменитого пляжа Bondi. Просторные комнаты, удобная кровать, большая ванная комната. Наше окно выходило не на море. Уборка в номере каждый день. В отеле нет завтрака, но внизу есть ресторан, а так же есть в номере кофе, чай, печенье. Рядом с отелем находятся много ресторанов и магазинов. Отель находится в очень туристическом месте, рядом с остановками. Автобусы работают ночью тоже. Мы очень довольны этим отелем и рекомендуем его!

- Jan (3/5): SLECHT - Foto's zijn bedrog, inrichting is goedkoop en het uitzicht is zeker niet zoals de foto's laten zien. Onze kamer zat boven een kroeg. Niet normaal zoveel herrie in de nachtelijke uurtjes. Stond een bordje op het nachtkastje met 'gebruik oordopjes". Die hadden ze op zijn minst neer kunnen leggen. In de avond en nacht nergens personeel te vinden! Bij meermaals bellen werd de telefoon niet opgenomen. Bondi Beach is geweldig, maar het hele verblijf in dit hotel is ons enorm tegengevallen.

We really loved our stay & already planning another visit. Was a bit tricky to exit with a pram early in the morning (but no issues while the pub is open downstairs). Not a huge issue though & aware we were heading out when reception may not have been around.

- Ann-Marie (9/5): Loved the people watching of beach body bare footed ready kids carrying surf boards ! Just fab - 6 night stay . We chose this hotel for its location and it was bang on ! Central to Bondi and an easy walk across the road to the beach . Adjacent to the hotel was everything you could ask for ! Loads of lovely eating establishments Woolworths near the hotel so we could get everything we needed for our stay inc a liquor store adjacent to it. We had done our research on this hotel so we opted for the Superior suite with a Kitchen, everything you needed No hot plates, but microwave and toaster and kettle, fridge with small freezer, lounge, TV ,dining table/chairs, separate bedroom, dressing area with loads of wardrobes shelves etc, free safe, ironing facilities, and a lovely modern shower room . We were on the top floor and had a huge balcony with 2 sunbeds and chairs overlooking the beach ! We were aware there may be noise on the DJ nights but the bedroom was at the side of the suite so with the bedroom door shut the music was not that loud ! And anyway why go to Bondi and complain about the noise ............they have runs every Sunday morning to Loud Music and there are hundreds of people running down the beach front to music.!! Fun to watch if a lot different to the UK ! Our suite was immaculately clean. The reception held our luggage until we could check in. We catered for ourselves but at night used the bar Happy Hour which was 12 $ for jug of 3 pints of beer and the restaurant food had offers on every night and was superb ! so much so we ate there every night , so good ! Beautifully cooked and big portions !Get there early to get a table it gets busy . When you arrive be aware there is no lounge or seating area other than the bar / restaurant attached to the hotel so nowhere you can get a coffee or breakfast unless you go out of the hotel. There are just 2 armchairs and a small reception desk. Toilets are also in the bar.Very limited facilities in hotel. McDonalds 4 minute walk for a coffee ! Watching 2 people nearly drown in a rip tide. SWIM ONLY BETWEEN THE FLAGS

- Beverly (9/5): Lively Older Hotel in the Best Location - Hotel Bondi is a lively, older, small hotel in a fantastic location by the beach, buses, shops, restaurants, and the Coastal Walk. Staff was always available, attentive, friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Ollie and Sophie who came to my rescue when my phone was left in an Uber. There’s a restaurant and bar with indoor/outdoor seating and daily happy hour and specials. The room was small but adequate and nicely equipped, comfy. I would definitely return there; I liked its homey vibe and great staff.

- Paul (6/5): Looking foreard to staying there again if there windows and doors are replaced - A fantastic location and views in a grand old building. We did have a great stay there... But the amount of money we paid for the room didn't feel warranted The bed was very bouncy, and when either of us rolled over it would wake the other up. Not up to the standard of most motel beds The worst thing was the building noise from next door which woke is up every morning. The motel left us earbuds which we assumed were for the noise from Campbell Street. We realise it was out of your control but we feel you should charge a reduced rate while the works are going on Windows and doors are rotted and don't shut properly. Perhaps if you had quality doors and windows, the noise wouldn't be an issue

- Johnathan (9/5): - It was a great spot to stay, very basic but clean and above a pub. It got very noisy on the weekend but if that is what you are there for then it's fine Music was loud above the pub
- Peter (7/5): Not ideal for restful stay - Nice hotel and room refurbishment. Very high street noise all night - revellers and garbage removal at all hours. Pub is quite expensive. Beds do not have duvets - sheets and blankets, not comfortable.

- David (8/5): Im coming back. - A lovely relaxed place to stay in Bondi. Best value beach front. On site bar and restaurant. Food available to 9pm - great for us late arrivers. Best calamari and chips in a long time. Very helpful staff. It’s possible to criticise aging infrastructure but that is part of the charm of this place. The bar and restaurant is very Australian suburban in character. However, the menu, albeit simple, is beautifully executed. Proper pub grub.

It was really clean and the staff were all friendly. It had everything we needed and was exactly as advertised. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
- Ann-Maria (9/5): Recommended place to stay when visiting Bondi Beach - Superb location 1 minute from Bondi beach. VJ at reception was very welcoming & helpful, great member of staff. Room had a beach view- we had the family room. Hotel provides beach towels which is great as a visitor. Nothing comes to mind; visit & room were as expected.

- David (8/5): Great location - Location is amazing, Def book the rooms facing the sea with a little balcony. We had a side room with a shared veranda, sadly a smoker decamped outside of our room so we couldn't have the door open 😡 The rain, it absolutely pi##ed down

- Sergi (3/5): Good location, but I would only recommend it if you come for party. Not recommended for those seeking relax (or sleep) - Exceptional location. Staff was nice. Super noisy. We were at the first floor, and all night long you hear the street noise, people shouting and party music.Not a place to relax, nor to sleep. Windows are absolutely not isolated.
