• Carsten (10/5): - Very helpful and polite staff, perfect location right to a very good beach. Restaurant was excellent. Rooms are a little basic but it worked fine for us.

I love how the receptionist and manager were very welcoming and accomodating - I love how I am able to wake up, eat in my own patio and how food can be delivered at no extra cost. I like that they also cling wrap the food and eat whenever you are ready to come up from the pool or sea I have observed that the water is becoming a little bit polluted with some waste like weeds and are not maintained to get cleaned. The beach cabana is absolutly beautiful but are not geriatric friendly when walking to and from the restaurant. Staff is there to help tho in pushing with the wheelchair as it can get burried in sand.

• Jörg (6/5): - Sehr schöne Gartenanlage mit Pool. Eigene Terrasse auf der man abends noch schön sitzen konnte. Leider funktionierte der Tresor nicht. Man darf keine Getränke und Essen von außerhalb mit in die Anlage bringen. Wir hatten auch keinen Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer.

The food in the restaurant was also very good in my taste.beds are very comfortable and I really appreciate that the AC was not directly placed over the bed. The staff always give us a set of new towels when we asked for it which I really thankful for. It's not really that I not like it. It's more like I missed a hairdryer

• Pedro (8/5): Hotel bonito en isla tranquila (un oasis en medio de Filipinas) - Es un hotel bonito, con todos los servicios que esperas de un "resort". Las habitaciones son estándar sin grandes lujos pero tiene todo lo que necesitas: habitación limpia con cambio de toallas, terraza fuera, grifo en la entrada para limpiar los pies, piscina increíble, restaurante muy bueno, playa bonita en el hotel donde pasear o empezar isla hopping. Estuvimos muy a gusto y las niñas disfrutaron mucho de la piscina. El baño un poco pequeño, pero correcto.

Veldig fint anlegg som er rent og pent, med direkte adgang til flott strand, stort og flott svømmebasseng og god beliggenhet nært ferjekai litt utenfor sentrum. Skulle ønske de hadde noen fysiske aktiviteter for barna til benyttelse som for eksempel dart, biljard, lekeplass og det hadde vært fint med en strandbar eller et bestillingspunkt der for mat og drikke på stranden Savnet også litt større utvalg i drikke, som vin til mat og drinker(en bar).

• Stephanie (8/5): Seaside property - The property was by the sea and we watched some beautiful sunset from chaise lounges, that was really precious. The tiny rooms did not have a fridge.

Sin usar el propio de la habitación, molestan los aires acondicionados de los vecinos y ventilaciones de maquinas de las instalaciones. No estoy exagerando. No es un sitio con silencio. Son aires acondicionados tipo "cassette" y son viejos. Ruido similar a un camión en ralentí. No exagero. Por otro lado, reservamos un masaje en habitación con una hora concreta. Después de media hora pasada la hora concretada y no aparecer nadie, fuimos a recepción para explicaciones. Nos dicen que en 5 minutos vendrá la persona que hace masaje. Pasados 15 minutos, no apareció nadie y fuimos enfadados a anular el masaje, porque perdí 45 minutos esperando.

• Joe keara (8/5): Alegria na Anika Resort, bantayan Island - I like that the staff are very courteous, the manong gardeners will really great you and smile at you every morning and afternoon. It is also very clean resort. The securities will really also talk to you and very approachable, the staff in the restaurant and the lifeguards in the pool area were also very nice. They will only give you one key card per room and There is no iron. And kettle is upon request which should have been in each room. Though the staff is very fast in providing it.

• Grégoire (10/5): - Établissement familiale, très sécurisé pour les enfants. Vraiment génial. Personnel vraiment gentil et au petit soin. Il faudrait construire un petit salon de massage près de la plage. Ce sera beaucoup plus confortable pour les clients et les masseuses. Il faut louer un scooter ou prendre une moto taxi car c’est un peu éloigné de la ville.
• Ruciński (3/5): Worst place to be. - The staff are nice. Too strict. Its like you are not in vacation, its more on prison place. Not allowed of everything. I ask for an iron because its givin that people there bring clothes and its wrinkled in the luggage but its not allowed and bla bla bla... A lot of reason. I ask for alternative solutions but they cannot give. Very very strict place. Very expensive food. No alcohol. No beverages and food allowed inside the hotel. I will not recommend if you want to enjoy your vacation. But if you want to feel how prison like You can stay here.

• Christopher (7/5): Overall it was fine. I would explore elsewhere next time - The beach was fabulous and the way the place is laid out was nice. It was also reassuring how seriously they took the security. The staff were fine in general but it seemed to take an awful long time to prepare a couple of coffees on more than one occasion. Also, the rooms were very very small. A couple with two cases aren’t left with much room. It’s like they maximised the number of units at the cost of the size of them. Also, each unit was a 20ft shipping container so it got pretty hot in there and the AC took a long time to become effective. There was a safe but no instructions on how to use it and it was certainly not as self explanatory as the safes in other (most) hotels

Beds are not comfortable, Not able to leave aircon running, so you come back to a hotbox of a room. For the price charged, management is to tight with profits to allow guest comfort. Price on food is way too much. Palce is run down, and owners spend very little money on maintenance.

• Bituin (9/5): Almost perfect paradise - The beach front is perfect from sunrise to sunset. It’s white and clean. The resort management ensures the privacy of the guests so they keep the non-guests out of the property / beach front which we, as guests, appreciate. For the first day, there’s a funny smell coming from the drainage of the bathroom. I was about to raise a concern about it the next day but it faded away.

• johnboy3bw (10/5): Great hotel - pool is amazing - Had a really nice time at Anika. We stayed for a week in a Sunset Pool View room. Good size room. Had a safe, air conditioned. They bring you a mini fridge if you ask for one. Nice verandah to sit outside overlooking the pool. The pool is amazing - open from 6am to 9pm. Lifeguard always on duty. Restaurant was really good. Staff are really friendly. Anika is about 2 kms from town. A 20 min walk or a short TukTuk ride. Being out of town can be a bit annoying. The beach itself at Anika isn’t that great - always a bit choppy and lots of seaweed. We didn’t swim at the beach - we preferred to swim at Kota beach in town. Or at Paradise beach instead. When you book - double check with Anika to make sure exactly what room you are getting. We booked a Sunset Pool View room - and arrived to be given a room with no view of the pool and no verandah. We sorted it out with the lovely manager “Lucky” and she moved us the following day to a room that ed booked.

• Tammo (6/5): Very nice at the beach but the nights were not very comfortable with the noisy AC. - Beach and the location was spectacular. The water is spectacular with a beautiful white beach. Very tranquil The AC in the room was extremely noisy. Couldn’t sleep with it on. They didn’t clean on the second day, only left water outside and that’s all. The reception was unclear about the travelling time to cebu airport and now stuck for waiting still 5 hrs on the airport. The food was not very variable and not many choices. There was no ambiance at the property. The restaurant is full without having a cosy sphere. There is no drinks at the beach side which would make it much more comfortable.
• Angelos (10/5): our stay in Anika was AMAZING ! - amazing facilities ! the place is a small paradise. starting from the reception who the welcomed us with a very warm smile , to the restaurant with the amazing food ! i tried most of the breakfast dishes but my favourite was the juicy beef tapas ! the rooms were clean and comfy equiped with Aircon and a water heater in the shower. the garden was looking fantastic , big thumbs up the the care takers for their amazing job ! pool was nice and warm and has a life guard the whole period . the gem though is the beach in the front of the hotel !!! the best time to visit is after 10Am as there is a high tide . the water is full of starfish making it so pretty and also shells . kindly request to everyone to take only 1 souvenir back home so everyone can enjoy this beautiful magic sea ! we were very happy to stay here and definately we will come back as this place was great. n/a
• Ian (2/5): Would never stay there again and never recommend it. - Close to the beach, grounds were immaculate and a good pool. Beach strewn with plastic and rubbish which was in the water too. Very narrow tidal window to go swimming because of being shallow and prevailing wind disturbed the bottom and made the water dirty. It was run like a prison camp. Signed a form on arrival of what you couldn’t do. No fridge, no hairdryer in the room and a/c unit so noisy first night hardly slept but changed the a/c unit second day. One small bath towel each (asked for another but told only one allowed) so going to use pool or onto beach had to exchange towels each time. The rooms are ex shipping containers so quite small.

Opening the door and sit on the porch and enjoy the view. The pool is really nice for kids. The beach front is amazing. Internet is super stable and fast. The rooms are starting to get quite old. The toilet was dripping constantly the window curtains were not able to open in both rooms. You don’t really want to stay in the room. But any ways with such an amazing view from the front porch you are not staying in the room anyway.

• 267majidb (2/5): Too expensive, unrwlaxed atmosphere and poor physical conditions - Small container rooms with varm and humid indoor climate. Snall beds. Many things are forbidden, even smoking on the beach. The staff are very friendly and oolite but they are not relaxed as if they are working under strict rules and are affraid to do something wrong. In general, no relaxed atmosphere. The rate is too high compared to what you get.
• Jean (1/5): Our recent stay at Anika Resort was disappointing. My Irish cousins suffered severe food poisoning from the restaurant, - We do appreciate the manager allowing us to use the resort van to get to the hospital, but it's hard to overlook the overall frustration of dealing with both the food poisoning and the bed bug bites. This trip turned out to be much more stressful than we ever anticipated. We used to love Anika Resort, but our recent experience was far from what we expected. My Irish cousins were severely food poisoned from the restaurant's food, so much so that the resort manager had to arrange for us to be taken to the hospital. As if that wasn’t enough, they also had bed bug bites all over their bodies. I strongly believe the bed sheets weren’t cleaned properly, which likely contributed to this issue. It was a truly devastating trip for the family.

• Adom (9/5): Nice spot - The location is really close to the port, right on an extremely well maintained beach. The view is incredible and the water is shallow which is great if you have young children. At low tide the staff ensures to clean the beach and you can walk out for a few hundred meters and the ground is covered in starfish of all sizes. The pool is amazing. Room service is prompt and the food is decent. Really easy to get transportation via tricycles and the staff is helpful with recommendations The beds are extremely firm so it made sleeping somewhat difficult. We were charged when we requested extra pillows and we were told the first was free and the second would be charged but that turned out not to be true and were charged anyway. The room wasn't completely ready and when we requested things like soap or toilet paper as the room had neither one of the staff insisted they were there and we had to report to the front desk to finally receive them.

Great staff.very friendly courteous and accommodating. The safe in the room was very convenient. Hot water shower and air conditioning worked great. Convenient restaurant onsite serving all meals. I can't think of anything I didn't like.

• aljohnj2024 (10/5): Paradise Found! - Anika Island Resort was the perfect escape! The moment we arrived, we were greeted by crystal-clear waters and powdery white sand. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a stunning view of the ocean. The pool was a refreshing oasis, and the resort's restaurant served delicious local cuisine. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We spent our days swimming, sunbathing, and exploring the island. It was the most relaxing vacation we've had in a long time.

The beach area was simply AMAZING, our photos may not even be able to show just how good the view was. We stayed in rooms for 3. There was enough room for us to move about. We were situated near the pool (yes, they have a pool).

• Maggie (7/5): I might stay again. Hopefully beach front. Location is the only consideration. - Location was great. Would have preferred beach view than pool view, although i understand this is subject to availability. Nothing special with food, had to send back pizza as it was undercooked. Also ordered pork sweet and sour but the sauce was black, not the udual red orange sweet sour sauce. There is no in house phone and reception closes at 10pm. Room aircon stopped at around 10:30pm, had to walk to the guard house to ask for maintenance. Toilet is very hard to flush.
