• André (8/5): Pleasant stay in Surabaya - - cleanliness of the room - professionalism of staff - breakfast time and choice of food - good price / quality ratio - bad smell of towels - on the last day, I went to breakfast at 6am. Almost everything was already set up, but... All the food was fridge cold - I was there for 5 nights, and the only room that was available was on the smoking floor. The last two days, my front neighbour left his door fully open, and smoked like a chimney with friends. - I had to change rooms for my last night. Unbearable!!

• Max (5/5): Passable - Good sized clean rooms Breakfast is too varied and not done well, consider lowering the different options and improving quality Checked in at the same time as our friends, same room rate, they got a top floor room with a great view and we faced an internal wall, we upgraded and they put in the wrong room number on the keycard so we got taken to the wrong floor in the automated elevator and walked in on someone as we assumed they wrote an 8 instead of a 6….

The same evening I received a phone call saying that I might left something in the room. I was impressed. Thank you very much especially for the staff who found it. I will tell my friends about this incidence and surely will go back to stay at Luminor hotel when I'm in Indonesia.

• Martin (9/5): Really enjoyed my stay there, felt welcomed, and had everything I needed for a great price. - Breakfast was fantastic, huge selection of foods. Staff were all lovely. Couldn’t turn off the LED strip lights above the curtains. TV had a hot spot, not all channels worked. Gym machine needs one snap shackle for the rope pull down, and can no longer change the push arms into pull mode.

Need to climb stairs to go to receptionist from drop off point at front (no lift), had to carry our own bags (later, informed that there is a lift from the parking area at the back). Love the "legen" drink. The room is small, there is no fridge in the superior room (i thought is a standart for 3 star hotel). The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very basic. Internet speed in OK. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Room is really clean and the staff tidy up the room very fast. However, there is no swimming pool or place to have sunbath when the weather is great. Also, there is no convenience store or mall beside hotel by foot.
