• Julien (3/5): Horrible night, welcoming and stay. Don go there if you want to have a nice trip, and Kuah is like the ugliest town on t - Near the park and the mall Nothing welcomed us, we’ve seen nobody at the start till we leave NOBODY, a lizard behind one bed, can’t close the “bathroom door” the light during the night feels like it’s noon.

• Globetrotter118 (9/5): Excellent budget accommodation - Most people use this Motel as a transit place to or from the ferry, but I stayed here for the duration of my visit in Langkawi, and never regretted it. If you intend to see everything on the Island and not just lay on the beach all day every day, then it doesn't really matter where you stay, and Kuah is a pleasant town. This was the only accommodation I found which had 'mainland prices'. I really liked the set up of this Motel, with ground floor, spacious and spotlessly clean basic, yet practical and comfortable rooms. All of which had their own table and chairs right outside their door, on the under cover patio. DSA as well. Excellent Aircon. The room had a fan as well and an agreeable attached bathroom with a cold shower, but the cold water is not really cold anyway. Towels and soap were supplied, but no toilet paper. Excellent WiFi. Plenty of charging outlets. Excellent location, just 15 min walk from the ferry. Quick and easy check in. If I were to be really picky, then I would say I was missing not having a hot and cold water dispenser for BYO coffee, and this is only because everybody has these dispensers these days.

Taxi to airport 30-35 RM My luggage needed an urgent replacement and found the perfect one in Billion” Duty Free supermarket for a very good price - another moment to be really grateful for Locals very kind, helpful and speak good english Room 7: The sink needs urgent fixing - just a constructive feedback

Хозяин не стал брать с нас дополнительные деньги, просто перенёс бронирование. Мы очень благодарны! С ребёнком не спеша мы дошли из пристани за 15-20 минут, пока шли любовались красивым парком рядом с пристанью. Уютная, простая комната. Для нас главное, что чисто, белое постельное бельё, кондиционер и вентилятор работают. Рядом парк с качелями для ребёнка. Рядом есть место, где можно покушать, но открывается только в 5 вечера. За такую цену это просто подарок! Спасибо!

• Ana Lucía (10/5): - Buena ubicación, a un rato caminando tras llegar del ferry de Kuala Perlis a Kuah. Camas cómodas, gel de ducha, toallas, aire acondicionado. Personal muy amable. Agua fría. El agua del lavabo no salía bien y complicaba el lavarse los dientes.

• Jamie (5/5): Acceptable for those on a budget, some easy improvements the owners can make - The property is only a 15 minute walk or 4 minute taxi from the ferry ports and about 15 minute walk to a shopping area with duty free shops and some restaurants. The gentleman who owned the property was very nice and he also had scooters for rental so we hired one for a day too to drive around the island. The motel is easy to find and also has a restaurant over the road from it. We did opt for the double bed option but was warned online it's only due to availability, and when we arrived is when we were told we have a twin room which we would've liked to have known for definite before hand and we could've possibly looked for accommodation. The room wasn't the cleanest too it did have ants and dust in there so my allergies were pretty bad. The worst part though was the mosquitos, there was a decent size gap under the entrance door which they got in through and the bathroom window was jammed open too so we got eaten alive by mosquitos so I had to block up the window and door with towels to stop them getting in and we spent most of our evenings hunting mosquitos and on our second nights stay I hardly slept at all because I could feel them under the sheets and flying around my ear. If the owner can look at the cleanliness and mosquito problem then it would've been a pleasant stay.

• Chris (8/5): Very good - Good budget option (57RM a night all in) in Langkawi. Friendly service, close to supermarket, ferry and laundrette. Bear in mind this is a real budget option - aircon didn’t work, WiFi didn’t reach room and furnishing seen better days - but good value for price on Langkawi, which is more expensive than many places in SE Asia.

• Latiff (9/5): Superb - Quiet location. Not far from Langkawi fair shopping mall and ferry terminal. Not having a mosquito repellent with me as there was the odd one flying around.
• Gavin (8/5): Cheap and very cheerful - Very clean, cheap local food stalls very close, supermarket and port short walk away. Very good value with aircon. Surrounding properties are quite messy and it can be hard to find someone to pay but they respond very quickly to messages and the WiFi was quite good in the room.

Convenient In access to the vendors for various trips, and the convenience of various Bank and many restaurants nearby. And Kuah town and weekend night market is just a 15 minutes walking distance walking away... Not to mention the Kuah jetty is just 10-15 minutes walking distance away. Very convenient. And the room that I stayed is clean. For the price I pay. I have NOTHING to dislike about it.

• Norzamanshahila (1/5): Not good - Price is cheap and located near the ferry terminal The place is surrounded by a junkyard. Cleanliness and proper housekeeping are not really the operators concern. While the room is ok the compound is basically a dump site. I ended up staying for 20 minutes, checked out and looked for another hotel.

• Cik (9/5): Budget room that worth for money! very friendly staff. the room quite big, clean and love the facilities. it’s not crowd - they got all the basic facilities that you need. iron and board are provided upon request and still new, function well. the air conditioner not functioning well but they got you fans to keep you comfortable
