Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): Bon séjour - Super séjour dans ce logement
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I booked 2 rooms for my son and me.
One of the rooms smelled very badly of chemicals, it’s balcony (above a busy road) wasn’t clean and it’s air conditioning was switched off. We complained (via text message, as there are no staff on site to help) and asked for a different room, only to be told they couldn’t do anything about it.
We later discovered why this room’s air conditioning was switched off - because it was not working. That was after returning from an evening out, by when it was too late to find another place to stay.
An uncomfortable unrestful night. Awful experience.
Give it a miss.
- Maria (10/5): Empfehlung! - Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar - wir würden das Hotel sofort wieder buchen. Der Kundendienst ist top!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This property has a very good location and we really liked it. Only reservation is that I was expecting a fully staffed hotel, rather than the guest house/apartment which this is.
- Jukka (8/5): - Kävelymatka keskustaan. Tarvittaessa bussilla pääsee lähes oven edestä. Siisti hotelli.
- Verified traveler (6/5): carefully - They are not cleaning every day.
Information desk is only available for a certain period of time. If you're not reading the notice, you'll be in big trouble.
- Leah7900 (10/5): Absolutely PERFECT - My boyfriend and I stayed in Kamara for 4 nights in August and it was absolutely perfect. Incredible location, 15-20 minute downhill walk to the city walls of dubrovnik. The 4 bus is just outside too if you’re feeling lazy too, only a euro or two. The room was SPOTLESS, modern, the air conditioning worked like a charm and it was very quiet and in a lovely area. Highly recommend going to Bellevue beach, literally only 5-7 minute walk from Kamara and is honestly the nicest beach I’ve ever been to in my life. Thank you so much to the lovely Nina who greeted us and recommended some great places to go during our time in Dubrovnik. Would definitely stay there again. Stayed in room S3!
- Disappointed (4/5): - Definitely wouldn’t stay here again. No customer service.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property was exactly like the photos, beautifully clean and very pleasant staff. We really enjoyed staying here and the sea view and balcony we lovely.
- Chloe (8/5): Great location - The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Our room looked over the street and towards the sea. There was never anyone at reception but we requested an iron and it appeared in our room so the service was good. We opted for the breakfast which you go to the hotel next door to have. It was a full buffet breakfast so good value for money and tasty. We walked into the old town which takes about 15mins (a bit more on the way back as uphill!). You can also take a bus no 6 from outside the old town gate which stops right outside the hotel. All in all a good location and everything we needed for a few days exploring beautiful Dubrovnik!
- Graham (10/5): Worth a visit - It’s a clean and comfortable place. Though it’s 25/30 min walk to the old city the view during he walk is fab. Plus the number 4 bus goes from v near the hotel to the old city walls every 15/20 mins. It’s 15 Kuna per trip. Would stay again !
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I came late and could not get in no phone number worked I had to pay for another room all together in the middle of the night Twrrible
- iamderrickhong (10/5): Understated Accommodation in Central Dubrovnik - Having spent 2 nights within the Old Town walls of Dubrovnik, it was nice to move farther west in order to access Sunset Beach, while allowing easy access back to Old Town on a beautiful cliffside 20 minute walk. (Tip: Getting further from old town is less touristy, thus restaurants and shops are much more affordable). The hotel from the outside is unassuming and very private. The check-in process after-hours was well communicated and easy. The room was clean, well-appointed, and had everything necessary. The balcony has a nice size and a beautiful sea view-great place to relax, catch some sun, and read a book.
I was able to meet with the host Nina my 2nd day- she is very friendly, accommodating, and cares very much about her guests' experience. She made great recommendations for my last day in Dubrovnik, which were things I didn't know about as a foreigner. If you are flying out of Dubrovnik Airport, her best recommendation to me was to spend some time in the city of Cavtat, a small town 10 minutes outside of the airport. Because there is only one road to the airport from Dubrovnik, traffic can be unpredictable. Leaving a bit earlier and spending time in Cavtat was a great recommendation!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Average Stay - The place is relatively old and not very well furnished. There is no reception, hence it's very difficult to get hold of an employee when issue arises. Poor wifi and dark toilets. Pretty uncomfortable pillow and beddings. However, the breakfast included was being served at the hotel next door which was very decent and delicious.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Rien à dire sur la propreté
Établissement ayant besoin d’un petit raffermissement
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I received a phone call from Nina to confirm my check-in and she assured a smooth process for my arrival. The room was clean and efficient and also quiet. Made for a peaceful and enjoyable stay for my holiday. She also kept me updated on the happenings in Dubrovnik.
- Jeff (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at Kamara! We had a balcony with a view of the sea and it was absolutely gorgeous! Nina was there to help with anything that we had. If she wasn't at the property, we could quickly reach her via email.
When we arrived, there was a gigantic blackboard with very helpful information regarding: food, sightseeing, day excursions, places to get drinks, etc. We used that board to find 2-3 things, as we were only there for a few nights.
There is a restaurant right next door (Taj Mahal), and it had some great food. Kamara is conveniently located to the sea, and to port Gruz, where we went twice for a few excursions. If we make it back to Dubrovnik, we will definitely be staying at Hotel Kamara again!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a great location within a 10 minute walk to the walled city. Clean and comfortable beds. It was perfect for us, the only thing is that the furnishings are Ikea type. The shower handle wouldn't stay up but we solved that with a twist tie and reported it to the staff. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast next door was very good. Glad we stayed here.
- Gayle (8/5): Hotel is a bit challenging - It was very difficult to work with the staff of the hotel, most of whom were not in Dubrovnik. If you lost your room key card or left it in the room, then a call to the hotel staff (in another city) was required to obtain a code to open the room. While I had no difficulties, my friends (who were staying at the same hotel at my instigation) had much difficulty. If you arrive at a time when there is no one on duty for reception (which is most of the time), you are really left to figure things out by yourself. The sign said that the reception desk was staffed from 12:00 to 17:00 daily, but I noticed that this situation was not always the case. Note that there is no lift and that there is a flight of stairs to reach the entrance to the hotel, so if you have heavy luggage, entry will be challenging. You could request rooms 1 or 2, which are on the entrance floor--but I did not see them. The room was very clean, but exceptionally small (by European standards). It was fine for one person, but would have been difficult for two. Breakfast at the hotel next door (Hotel Lero) was great and very convenient. I would not recommend this hotel if you like to consult staff for recommendations with respect to sight-seeing or dinner recommendations. If you are fine on your own, then it is a good location--not a long walk from the old town.
- Tony (10/5): - We had a very nice stay here for 4 days. Staff is great, price is great and breakfast was great and right next door. The only thing is that the shower has super hot water and the shower handle didn't stay up but we used a twist tie and that worked. Not high end furniture, but super clean and the bed very comfortable. Thanks.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - WIFI doesn't work in rooms. No information on TV channels
- Eugene (10/5): Comfortable room, close to old town - Great location, easy check in. Only a 20 min walk to old town. Great restaurants nearby.
- Denis (4/5): No front desk help. - The only real problem was that the "Front Desk" is in Zagreb. I didn't fully realize this until I arrived. All doors are opened electronically, and all problems or inquiries great or small are handled from Zagreb. If your cell phone doesn't work, you are doomed. If you misplace the entry codes, what then? If you run out of toilet paper, you call the Zagreb number. I navigated the system, but not without excessive stress. And almost every day I ran into other guests experiencing frustration. On certain days at certain times, an employee actually appears. It's hard to tell when this will happen. These "front desk" employees, when they appeared, were excellent.
Breakfast at the hotel next door is a disadvantage.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good value for money. Nice walk to Old City area. There is a hotel next door where you can have a meal as Kamara is an apartment lodge. Good wifi.
- yuk chun (6/5): No supporting service or housekeeping at all - The wifi doesn't work. Tissues are not sufficient. No daily house keeping provided. Sent email to reflect the above, but no response received.
- Victoria-traveled (6/5): I would not visit again - We stayed 5 nights at Kamara, and we had mixed thought about it. The room was spacious and clean at arrival, the lady in reception was helpful and it had a nice balcony. The breakfast was good, and served at the hotel next door. Although the room was clean on arrival, cleaning was not their highest priority. On day 4 the room had yet to be cleaned, we approached the reception, who told us that they do not clean rooms until day 5. However after asking they did send someone at day 4. The light in the bathroom did not work the first three days, and it took them more than two days to fix it. Furthermore, on the website it said that they had storage room for luggage if you needed, however this was not the case. Our overall impression of the hotel is mixed, however the negatives outweighs the positive, and we would therefore not visit again.
- SydneyJedda (6/5): Balcony the highlight. Sparesly furnished. - Shock when taxi dropped us off to find dirty stairway to door of hotel which is extremely difficult to find from the street. No obvious signage. Room so sparsely furnished and the only positive is the balcony with a small table & chairs which we used as our only seating, fortunately we had good weather. This really isn't a "hotel" as if you want breakfast it is available at the hotel next door. The Reception is only manned from approximately 9am to 6pm and some mornings we had to wait after that time which was so inconvenient.
- Janice (8/5): - Nice hotel for the money. Well located for the bus.
- JOHN (8/5): Lovely stay - Lovely small hotel, only 9 rooms, on the main road that leads into the old town. We had breakfast in the 4* hotel next door that was really good. Bed and pillows were comfy and had 4 quiet good night's sleeps. The room and bathroom were cleaned to a high standard and had kettle and hairdryer. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The only negative was that the awning was missing over the balcony so it was pretty hot late afternoon. We bought the 3 day Dubrovnik card ( wish we had ordered online before we arrived) from the hotel next door and used the bus tickets for getting back up the hill from exhausting days out. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
- nvd775 (8/5): spacious clean room, friendly service. - We spent 4 nights here (booked a triple/superior room) & felt well rested.
Really warm welcome from the lady on reception, she was so efficient & great with advice for places to eat/see/map directions etc. Explained access codes (and they always worked)
Communal areas; foyer & stairs were always clean & tidy.
Our room was 1 of 3 on the top floor- a decent size balcony, 2 comfy chairs & a table fitted on it with ease. The awning was not in place though, perhaps under repair as all other balconies had one.
Facilities wise the bedroom was very spacious, full black out curtains, a large and comfortable double bed with enough pillows & beside lighting/tv/kettle etc. Aircon was welcome & worked well & quietly. One decent sized wardrobe (more coat hangers would be good, especially if 3 people were to be staying there). The third bed was a converted sofa, looked comfortable but we did not use it so can't properly say.
The fridge didn't appear overly cold, but everything we placed in it stayed fresh & cold. Because the nearest plug socket was used for the fridge, the hospitality kettle etc on the table above we just moved its tray to a bedside table & unplugged one bedside light. Decent sized mugs were a winner; no there was no breakfast tea, though there was green tea & some coffee sachets. We normally bring stuff like that when we travel anyhow so didn't feel that a big issue.
The bed was comfortable, with 2 pillows each & spotless crisp white bedding.
The bathroom worked perfectly well - a corner shower, plenty hot water and decent big sink and mirror. Hairdryer in drawer below.
We didn't chose the breakfast inclusive option, preferring to walk to town to try different places.(liked Dubravka1836- just Outside the Pile gate)
The walk to the old city is about 15 minutes downhill - breath-taking views. There are frequent buses but we never did use them. Walking uphill with a gelato always won out!
You can also walk the other direction towards Babin Kuk on Lapad - we did that one day - the whole Babin Kuk coastline on that peninsula with frequent stops for "refreshments". Most establishments on the actual cliffs. Just beautiful. - and notably less pricy than the old town!
One major recommendation - have dinner next door at the Bosnian restaurant Taj Mahal.(it's within the Hotel Lero) Wonderful food.
I feel it important to point out, we didn't book this room based on it having fancy décor - if you want a resort hotel, or boutique city pad look elsewhere and be prepared to pay accordingly in a very popular (and rather expensive) city.
We wanted somewhere convenient, which was comfortable and safe. We got all of that, plus nice customer service & a decent amount of space.
We would stay again without hesitation.
- Greta (10/5): - Good location, very clean, close to old city of Dubrovnik and next door to best restaurant in town.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, airport transfer was provided for us at late hours past 9 pm.
- ianmR246MI (6/5): Worth considering - We have mixed thoughts about our stay at Kamara in Dubrovnik. As others have said, it is in a quiet location away from the busy old city area (we stayed during the frantic summer period), about a 15-minute (mainly downhill) walk to the old city gates, or the #4 local bus (15 kuna on the bus, or 13 kuna if you purchase at a newsstand) stops almost outside so this is very convenient..
We did arrive during their reception opening hours which are limited - they are at pains to highlight that they are a guesthouse rather than a hotel - and we did take their offered transfer (30 euro cash paid directly to the hotel) from the airport which was very efficient.
The welcome was excellent - the receptionist was very helpful in pointing out local highlights on the map. The room is quite spacious and clean with mainly IKEA furniture (literally, the labels are still attached); there are no toiletries provided except some lavender shampoo and a pump handwash - no soap for the shower. The tiny fridge didn't seem cold and you have to crawl under the table to change plugs for the TV, fridge and kettle. There were no coffee (3-in-1) sachets as the "the supplier hadn't delivered them" but the receptionist kindly gave us a couple from her own stock, and the tea sachets supplied were green tea.
We booked a sea view room - there was a sea view but it was in the distance, so don't mistake this for "seafront" as it is situated a few hundred metres from the sea.
The included breakfast is next door at Hotel Leno and is quite decent; however, the service was poor and there are tour groups staying at this hotel so avoid times they are having breakfast as it is chaotic.
On check-out (which is 11:00), we needed to store our luggage (which they offered) until an afternoon transfer but there was no-one at reception at this time on a Sunday morning and we didn't want to leave our luggage unattended (despite reasonable security) in the tiny reception area, so this was a bit awkward - we eventually stayed in the room until a staff member arrived at 11:30am.
Overall, this accommodation was satisfactory - our biggest concern was the value, we thought it was very expensive (even allowing for summer seasonal pricing) for what you receive - we paid almost 175 euro for one night.
We are not saying 'don't stay here' as it ticked many boxes for us - we just want to point out our experience with this guesthouse for further consideration.
- josefiner270 (10/5): Lovely stay - Helpful and friendly staff! We had a big room with the ocean view and we were so happy with that room. The breakfast buffet in the hotel next door is really good! Nice and clean rooms. Would definitely stay here again.
- SMPerle (8/5): Lovely little "hotel" - So the hotel is in quotes because this isn't your typical hotel. There are no employees around the hotel 24/7. They also don't have a restaurant. Don't let that dissuade you. The room we had was so large with a balcony looking towards the street. To get to the hotel is a flight of stairs up (looks like one is walking up to an apartment complex or 2nd floor of a small shopping center.
Breakfast is included at the large full-service hotel right next door, which was a great buffet with a large selection.
The location is a 15-minute walk to the old city or a shorter bus ride. The bus stops very nearby.
The room was large, modern, clean and comfortable.
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
- ThuQuach (8/5): A nice stay at Dubrovnik - We stayed at Kamara Dubrovnik for 2 nights. Staff was very kind and friendly. Breakfast was served at Hotel Lero which was also a 5 star rated! The location is great and calm and there is also an option to use the bus which was very convenient (only 4 stops) to the Pile gate. Rooms were nice and tidy! I highly recommend this place to everyone.
- AnnikaH1029 (8/5): Honeymoon - Hotellista sai lentokenttäkuljetuksen mennen tullen hintaan 30e per suunta joka on paljon edullisempi kuin taksi. Aivan ihana vastaanotto hotellilla, tunsimme heti itsemme tervetulleeksi.
Huoneessa pieni haju. Sänky oli aivan mahtava. Tämän hotellin pitäisi olla ehdottomasti 4* hotelli.
Quite a wonderful reception at the hotel we felt welcome immediately. The official helped a what his much more work picture surely would have belonged, he gave the map and the bus and the popular restaurants advised in the connections.
The breakfast was in a next hotel and it was excellent, there a sparkling wine was served.
The room was comfortable, peaceful and quiet. Own air source heat pump and tidy bathroom.
In our room it was not possible to hang wet towels to dry because there was no balcony. In room small smell. The bed was quite powerful. This hotel should be absolutely 4* hotel.
- hanamoah (10/5): Great service and great hotel - Me and my husband stayed at this hotel 4 nights in june and it was lovely. The receptionist helped us with everything as we arrived and gave us really great advise about the whole city. We thought our room would be very small but it was acutally very spacious and the balcony was really great and had a nice view.
We also used their shuttle service to get from the airport to the hotel which cost us less than a normal taxi ride
- James (8/5): Nice and affordable - Staff where very friendly and accommodating providing response to emails quickly, and in person very lovely.
The hotel is a little bit dated but still very pleasant, bed was very comfortable, and the balcony’s are beautiful!
A short cab ride of 10 minute walk into old town, So the location is decent.
Would stay there again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful stay! - Our room is super clean and spacious! The staff are all friendly and helpful and are willing to do whatever they can. They replied all our inquiries through email promptly so we were able to have tennis lessons! Overall, it was a wonderful stay and highly recommend to those who are visiting Dubrovnik.
- ten (6/5): Cleaning staff came in! - Cleaning staff came in with key when I was taking shower before 9am. Before 9am! Easy to imagine guest may be taking shower , changing clothes, sleeping. Checkout time was 11 am but after that I couldn't be relaxed at all.
- clairehO7132JO (2/5): Holiday - Booked accommodation but nobody was there when we showed up to check in. Emailed them and called them but got no answer back. We were lucky we were not there during peek season as we may not have been able to get alternative accommodation. Disappointing as the location was good but unfortunately hotel not reliable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Central, clean and super - Friendly staff. Complimentary light breakfast. Quiet. Clean.
- cesars441 (8/5): Location - Good location, about 15min walk from the old town, no need for bus to reach the tourist attractions. Rooms are very comfortable and big/plenty of space.
Reception is not 24h although the staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
A rocky beach is just about 7min walk from the hotel.
Only down point is that the breakfast is served at the hotel next door.
- donandwilma (8/5): Lovely Small Hotel - Hotel Kamara is a small well situated room only hotel about a 20 minute walk from Dubrovnik's Old Town, our room was well furnished with a small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a well situated bathroom with a very good shower, Air conditioning that worked well ,and a great sea view, with table and chairs on our own balcony.
The towels and bedding were changed on a regular basis by the very efficient cleaning staff. The staff at the reception desk were friendly and very helpful with information regarding good quality Restaurants and tours that you could book through them, they also helped us regarding the Local Transport system and the cheapest way on how to purchase the Bus Tickets. The Local Bus number 4 stops about 100 yards from the Hotel entrance and gets you into the Old Town in around 5 minutes , the same bus in the opposite direction takes you to the recently refurbished Lapad Bay area, which is just Lovely with many nice Restaurants and coffee shops, we just loved this area as the Old Town can be rather Manic with the number of Tourists heading there.
- Jim (8/5): Good location for walkers. - Reception staff, Tony, was welcoming and helpful with recommendations for eating in the neighborhood, and with directions for walking and taking the bus about town.
- Cathy_Bob (10/5): Good base for City Break - We stopped here for 2 nights as part of a driving tour around Europe. We reserved 2 parking spaces and these were reserved as requested.
The rooms were spacious, well maintained and clean and provided a great base for our 2 night stay.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and given useful information regarding sight seeing and restaurants. For breakfast we ate at the hotel next door, making use of the special arrangement with that hotel. This worked well and was good.
We firstly walked down into the old city from the hotel, which was a pleasant walk taking about 25minutes. On other occasions we took a bus from the stop almost opposite the hotel. We purchased tickets from the kiosk near the stop and this method of getting into town was quick and easy.
I would fully recommend this hotel.
- Angmut (8/5): Start of my croatian and bosnian adventure - Stayed here after a 8 hr transit in frankfurt. I had received an email prior to leaving home advising that a car can meet me and take me to the hotel. This worked out cheaper than a taxi! The staff are friendly and most helpful. Advising bus to go to city. While there arent any lifts in the building it is only a small building and lifts while be good arent required. Yes no breakfast but are a few places in addition to the hotel lero next door. Time out caffe was place i visited it has great coffee as well as being social relaxing.
So i would stay here again when i come back to Dubrovnik thank you
- liza (8/5): Nice hotel close to many amenities - Our room was very nice though the "sea view" terrace barely showed any water. Room was clean, bathroom was modern, lobby was nice and helpful. Kind of a hike to old town but it's close to Bellevue beach which is very nice.
- Amelia (6/5): Nice but basic hotel - Hotel is nice but basic. Unfortunately our room had a terrible smell, like wet carpet and mould. Wifi wasn't good upstairs and the hot water in bathroom was only enough for 1x person to shower.
- Hayden (8/5): Awesome stay & Breakfast next door is incredible - Awesome stay & the breakfast next door is incredible with a wide range of foods. it is in a great location for catching a bus and going to a few beaches and only 5 to 10 minutes from the old town. Definitely worth the price including breakfast.
- lindsayl809 (10/5): Great stay! Would highly recommend this place! - We had a wonderful stay at Kamara. The rooms were lovely (well-designed and extremely comfortable), the service was wonderful, and the location was just minutes from the Old Town via cab or bus. We really couldn't have asked for anything more. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Dubrovnik.
- countconti (10/5): Fine start to seeing Croatia - Could not have had a better start to our Croatian trip. Great small hotel with bus stop about 50 yards away. Restaurants about 200 yds away. Hotel has A/C and Wi-Fi. Parking available but can also be found on street for a price. Staff very helpful. Breakfast next door. no lift.
- Marlene1949 (8/5): Basic but good - We booked this hotel at short notice for 2 nights to fill in between the two parts of our holiday in Croatia. Our room was clean and comfortable and plenty of storage space both in the room and bathroom. The bathroom was fine with none of the problems mentioned in earlier reviews. Breakfast next door at the Hotel Lero was excellent and worth including in your room rate. Tony on reception was very pleasant and helpful with local information. We enjoyed the 20 minute downhill walk to the Old Town and caught the #4 bus back uphill - stops opposite the Hotel Lero. Wifi was good. There wasn't a fridge in the room and no lift in the hotel which might be a problem for some but you could ask for a 1st level room.
- georgeg430 (8/5): All Good - Willing to walk for twenty minutes to get to Old Town, willing to walk next door for a great breakfast Buffett, dont need a lobby, just need a clean room? This is the place. It'd you want better, closer, you'll have to pay a lot more.
- George (10/5): Kamara is all good - Good place, good price, good person at the desk, good distance from Old Town, great shuttle service from airport and elsewhere
- Verified traveler (6/5): VERY basic! - Furnishings consisted of a bed, a nightstand, a narrow table & a chair. Great shower, though. Don't pay extra for the sea view: The coast is at least half a mile away, & the "view" is of rooftops between the hotel & the coast. Biggest drawback is that none of the rooms are on the ground floor, and there is no lift. Bggest value: The 30E personal driver arranged by the hotel to pick us up at the airport. Thankfully the driver helped carry our bags to our rooms. Breakfast was also a good value.
- Susan (10/5): Room with a great view - Top floor with balcony and the most amazing sea views. We watched the cruise ships go out to sea and the smaller vessels cruise along. The room was very spacious and the mattress and pillows so comfortable, we had an amazing sleep after a day of walking and seeing the sights of Dubrovnik.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Fantastic place for a short break - My mum and I stayed at Kamara Dubrovnik for a few days in April. It is a quiet hotel, just next to the local four star, but slightly set back in an ideal location.
Nikolina, the main contact, is extremely polite, helpful and accommodating. We found the room and bathroom to be spacious and exceptionally clean, and the room had a beautiful view.
The breakfast is in the local four star (Hotel Lero), just next door and it was a fantastic range of everything you'd ever want, and delicious!
We found we made the right choice of location- rather than Lapad bay or the Old town- this is in the middle, so everything is very easily accessible and walkable in either direction.
Would definitely recommend this hotel
- marie (2/5): complaints - This hotel had only the very basics. We stayed 2 nights and the bed nor towels were changed. There are small ants crawling up the bathroom the shower wall . The shower was very tight and small spaced I would never recommend or use this hotel again. The price we paid for the services I felt over high at $89.25 per night. Mary Synnot
- Isabel (10/5): Amazing view, great room! - I walked into my room, I nearly started crying... For good reasons. The view is just amazing! Pleasant staff, big room, super clean, sea view, comfortable bed, walking distance to the old city, there's even a little beach! What else could you ask for? I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this place to friends and family
- Georgina (10/5): Highly recommend - Fab hotel in a great position - easy walking distance to Pile (the centre of old town). Lovely staff, lovely room, exceeded expectations. Great value
- wendy (10/5): Great location and clean room - Convenient location - near the beach, near bus stop and not far from the old town
- Vera (10/5): - Beautifulviewfrom our balcony. Good location. Walking distance to old town, beach and many restaurants.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great stay - Was a pleasant stay.

Next to bus stop
- Tyrone E. (8/5): Quality and convenience at a bargain price. - We arrived a day early for our 9 day tour and stayed here one night before joining the rest of the group at the more expensive tour hotel. We had a good buffet breakfast at the Lero Hotel conveniently located next door. City bus service stop very close by. Receptionist very helpful with advice and directions.
- Michael (10/5): Dubrovnik short stay - Hotel was situated 15 to 20 minutes walk from old town which suited our party as we are all keen walkers would not recommend Dubrovnik for anyone with mobility issues. Hotel was exactly as described and was first class. We knew that breakfast was in the hotel next door but did not expect it to be so good, great selection to suit all tastes. overall rating 5 out of 5.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Maintenance issues - We booked triple occupancy superior deluxe room at a extreme cost. 2nd bed was not made up and no sheets, blankets left to do so for ourselves. No manned reception when we arrived (which we knew ahead of). Shower sprayed everywhere. Air conditioning did not work correctly for the entire stay. We arrived late; wanted to cancel our next 2 days - was denied at 8 am as booked through Expedia was the excuse given. 2 lights in room did not have working bulbs, trouble with the entry door to our room not being dependable to lock or stay shut; the fridge did not work at all . No shampoo or toilet paper for our 2nd day. I had requested a discount due to condition of our disappointing room--Front desk said "We have done nothing wrong". That my complaints had been given to the owner and they didn't care. Really too bad -- nice boutique hotel; but no customer service.
- Cecilia (10/5): Very nice stay! - Very nice hotel! Room was very spacious and clean. Had air conditioning and kettle. Reception was friendly and informative. Close to old town, about 20 minutes walk or 2 minute bus ride (local bus # 4)
- Guillermo (8/5): Hotel Kamara Review - This was a very pleasant hotel if you wanted to be away from the old fort. It is a 20 min downhill walk to the old fort with beautiful views. There are two beaches available nearby. The hotel was recently renovated. It was well appearing, clean, with friendly staff ( though they are only on the premise until 8 or 9 pm, though easily reachable). The hotel has two parking spots that if needed Ned to be reserved ahead of time. If unavailable there is street parking.
