Donna (10/5): Excellent getaway! - The room met all of our needs. It even had a bit of an ocean view. We liked that it has a grocery and coffee shop right across the street and Moe's Restaurant was quite handy! The only small, possible downside to being in close proximity to Moe's, is the restaurant smell carries over when the room slider is open and the wind is in that direction. It would not deter me from staying in the room again, however.

Steven (7/5): Nice enough for the cost after discount, staff are great, would stay in town next time. - Property is near enough to things like haystack and rock and ecola state park that makes for easy access, but isn’t walking distance from town itself, so driving to shops is a must. Staff were really nice! I liked all of the front desk people. 1) it’s not close enough to town to walk to shops and things, which I didn’t realize and would have been ideal. It’s kind of on its own a little outside town. Very close by car, just not walkable. There is lots of accommodation in town that’s walkable to the shops, so it’s kind of a question of whether you want convenience or choose Tolovana because you’re getting a deal, like I did. If paying a little extra wasn’t a big deal, I’d rather stay in town, and a bit closer to haystack rock. Takes maybe 10 minutes to walk to haystack, though you can see it immediately if you walk onto the beach from Tolovana. Tolovana is also not really charming in the way a little BnB might be. 2) access to rooms is all from outside and you have to walk outside a bit from you car to get into the rooms. Had a bit of a nice, clean hybrid motel/hotel feel in that way. Just meant if I forgot something in the car, I needed to walk in the rain for maybe 20 seconds to get to it. 3) my tub didn’t drain well, so when I took a shower it filled up.

We just turned on rain music and it was fine, but it was a little loud.

Maria Victoria (7/5): Overall we enjoyed our 2-night stay, given the proximity to the beach and restaurants. - Walking distance to the beach was not bad. Quite enjoyable to walk. They have a small indoor pool and Sauna, that we never got to use. On a beautiful day you can even walk/jog to downtown Cannon beach if you’re looking for restaurants and bars. You can drive there but street parking is not easy to find. However, there is a grocery across the street for snacks or coffee. It was ok. Room was small and so is the bathroom. You can hear every footstep from your neighbors. The room was clean at first glance but when a bench was accidentally moved, there was sand and dust underneath it. They don’t have a cafe and they don’t offer breakfast.

Comfortable bed. Parking lot was very confusing to navigate. Really difficult to find the exit! Signage would help.

Edana (9/5): Lovely place. - The staff was wonderful; the room was very nice especially once I found that I could adjust the temperature (from 50 degrees F). I also liked the proximity to the other small trips I made during my stay. I was not able to shower the first morning because I couldn't figure out how to make the shower work. I was told later, when I asked, that I had to pull down on the ring on the tub faucet. Maybe this is a typical thing in Oregon, but not any place I have been in the US or world. I feel that there should be some information about this in the bathroom! I also expected to have a microwave, but I found none. I had planned to be able to heat up some food, but I couldn't do that. I also found out when I checked out that there was a "resort fee" of $40. I''m not sure what that was for, because I didn't use anything but my room and the parking lot.

Talita (10/5): Wonderful view of the Pacific 💜 - We liked the sea view from the room we stayed in; the apartment was very clean, the location was excellent, and we especially appreciated that it was pet-friendly. We didn't really like the mattress; we found it too soft for our preference.

Brenda (10/5): Loved our first experience staying at Tolovana /Cannon Beach - Loved how close the beach was to our room. Comfortable bed. I absolutely loved that check out was at noon, didn't feel rushed to wake up and leave. I had time to enjoy my morning and sleep in and get my stuff ready without feeling rushed and tired and exhausted. No microwave in the room. We have stayed at a smaller, less expensive room and they all had a microwave. Even rooms that were bigger than what we had cost less and still had a microwave and coffee maker.

I was attending an event in Seaside both nights of my stay, and when I returned there was no parking available. I had to park on the street, off out hotel property.

Beth (9/5): Breathtaking views, romantic atmosphere, would highly recommend! - Tolovana Inn did not disappoint this couple celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary. We requested an ocean view room, and the view from the balcony was breathtaking! We enjoyed the wine, delicious chocolates, and flowers that were ready in our room upon arrival. The location was perfect for visiting the beach, Haystack Rock, and the many dining options. We appreciated the later (noon) standard check-out time as well. We were hoping to check in a little early, but our room wasn't ready yet, which was completely understandable.
Cee (9/5): Pretty cozy - The room we booked was pretty cozy and the heater was warm enough to make our stay pretty comfortable. There's plenty of parking to go around as we never had trouble finding a spot. The location was also pretty near popular food spots around the area. We stayed in building 4 and it was nice that we could hear the faint sounds of the beach outside our room. We weren't able to use any of the utilities as we were out for most of the time, but the accommodations itself was pretty standard so not much to complain about. We just didn't realize our room was connected to a family room. The extra door in our room was thankfully locked, but we were hyper aware of the people just next door.

Laura (8/5): Good value and location - The staff was friendly and kind and made accommodations for our late arrival. Close to Mo’s and the beach. Overall we liked our stay here. There is no air conditioning in the room, only a heater. So getting ready in the morning was very hot and sticky. Thankfully we cracked the window but this wasn’t ideal.
