Lonnie (8/5): A blast from the past - Linda was very nice and accommodating. The “leave the key” box was unsecured so I was concerned for the safety and security of the key left at 6:30 am. I called the phone number on the office door. No answer and no voicemail capability. However, I did receive a call back, missed it. Didn’t receive a voicemail. So I called back to share my concern about the key box. Was told by the female who answered ,”it’s alright” so we didn’t worry about it. It’s a dated structure with a small shower compartment so we decided to skip the shower. There was a pink sink in the bathroom confirming the dated structure. Overall, it was available, no sketchy looking characters, relatively clean and felt safe.

Belinda (2/5): Should not even be an option. - Shame on you for even offering this place! The room is outdated and smells. The refrigerator had mold in it. Did not even attempt the shower.
Ian (4/5): - This is probably one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in a long time. When we entered the room there was a light on and the television was on, like someone had just left the room. The windows were all open, I assume to help air the place out as it was musty. But the room was freezing because of it. I also could not get one of the windows to close all of the way. The bedroom's lights did not work. One lamp bulb was loose, another was burnt out, and the third was actually broken. The carpet was thin and felt dirty. There were silverfish in the bathroom. The bathroom was full of rust (even the back of the hair dryer was rusty), and the air vent looks like it hasn't ever been cleaned. When I went to use a hand towel to dry my hands it was stained and there was hair on it. Would not recommend this place to anyone. We were uncomfortable and just wanted to leave.
Rishabhkumar (2/5): - Very old and shoddy facility. I have stayed in my share of beaten down hotels but this really takes the cake. We wanted a place with kitchen as traveling with family with dietary restrictions. That limited our options and as it was only for a night, we didn’t think of going for an Airbnb. That was a mistake. What passed as kitchen were two non-functional stove that were wrapped with silver foil and didn’t work. The microwave literally stopped due to overheating if we ran it for two minutes straight. The game was to run it for two minutes and when it shut off, let it revive on its own in a few minutes. The shower too had lukewarm water and we ended up just checking out of the place as soon as possible in the morning. The only good thing was probably the attendant, who seemed an honest person and helpful. Considering that this wasn’t really a cheap place, we feel very cheated.
Jeremiah T (6/5): - The property is older and could use a little bit of renovation. It's not bad but it looks like it's been patched up over and over again and could use a refresh. It's a good choice for a low-budget motel.
Kevin (8/5): - The receptionists at the front desk was very nice and cheerful! Her demeanor was pleasant and inviting. The property was clean, aside from one dark hair on the hand towel in the bathroom. It was a huge bummer to not have coffee available in the morning, and also inconvenient that the ice machine wasn’t functioning. Thankfully, there is a 7-11 within walking distance! With the quiet, clean environment, pleasant customer service, and inviting ambiance, I would absolutely recommend this motel to others. Although I would rate 8/10, due to the lack of coffee and ice, the hospitality makes up for it.

Mark (4/5): Crappy motel - This an old and run down motel from the 60’s. It was very depressing. It was clean. Towels were old, rough and ratty - you wouldn’t clean your car with. Bed was comfortable. There police called to an incident while I was there. All exterior lights were off the first night. I recommend staying away from this place.

Heather (2/5): - No air conditioning, the room was 85-90 degrees at most times including while trying to sleep so we didn’t get any sleep! The shower had no cold water so you were taking a scorching hot shower! When the temp outside is over 100 you don’t want to take a hot shower! The shower curtain and one of the fridges were moldy. Advertised WiFi and no wifi when owner was asked for information on it. Very outdated and could use work in the room. Went to the office a few times and no one was there.

Michael (10/5): You can’t judge a book by its cover. - The motel is a little older but it is clean and well kept. The staff consist of a small group of family and friends and are very helpful and dedicated to ensuring that their customers feel safe and enjoy their property. We booked the room last minute to cool down from the hot weather in Eugene. We’re glad to have found a safe spot to stop for the night and take in the local culture before heading home.

The window in the bathroom is secured with a hook but there’s a pipe in the way of the window so you really can’t open the window more that an inch. Ruth (10/5): Best deal on Oregon coast - We needed a motel for the night. Every place was eirher or exhoritant. Then we found this place. Very nice lady at the desk. We stayed for two nights and it was great. All the basics we needed. And half the price of other places. Ait met a real need.

It smelt disgusting like they were trying to cover up really bad odors with cheap air freshners hung behind the door. The room was stuff and you could constantly hear tapping noises and banging. They kept the shower where THEY wanted it. It wasn't hot and you couldn't turn it up hot enough to enjoy it! The bathroom was small and the shower was disgusting. You couldn't even move in the shower. The beds were hard and turned out we were sleeping in somebody else's dirty sheets. They just remake the bed with other people's bedding. So when we excited we figured the "maid" has a certain job to do. We kindly stuck out trash in the trash can they provided and didn't make the beds figuring they had to clear the sheets off. There were a few crumbs from my kids on the floor, but that was it. Just the basic dirty a maid would clean. The owner came in and was screaming and ranting about charging us a deposit on both our rooms. She didn't say why exactly that was but that it was in other words "trashed". We did NOT "trash" the place. We attempted to take pictures for proof and during COVID she grabbed my sons arm and forced him out of the room. That really pissed me off! Nobody touches my son ESPECIALLY during COVID!! She tells us we cannot get pictures of the room. Yet, SHE takes pictures and calls the police. These people are some kinda Arab scammers that don't realize they are in America and have a duty to CLEAN their room up and vacuum. It's what you get PAID for! Stop charging extra money for your own damn job! Get a thing called a vacuum and make the beds fresh! Stop calling police on YOUR scam and mistakes! You people are disgusting! There was a man who came out in his underwear to witness it. We let him know he should be careful or he would be facing the same scam as us!! NEVER EVER STAY HERE!! The lady here is very evil and out to get people! She really wants your money and will do anything to get it! Even put her hands on your children. This place is an absolute disaster!! TRUST ME AND SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! Hands down the worst place ever!!!
paula (6/5): Probably better places to stay in Reedsport - It was a different experience. The two good features: the beds were comfortable; and the room was clean. The downside: it appears the owner is trying to save money by skimping on things. Bring your own facial tissues!!! We tried for three days to get facial tissues. While we were out the last day, they stuffed a couple of pieces of toilet paper in the empty facial tissue box and put it back in the holder. Like that should suffice. Towels have seen many good years of use and are better at scraping the water off rather than absorbing. No ice machine. Only 1 coffee packet left the last morning for two of us to use. I could go on but running out of space

Marty (6/5): You Get What You Pay For - As the old saying goes, “You get what you pay for.” In this case, for $70 we got a room that had terribly stain carpet, a painted bathroom floor that was peeling, a shower that was barely 30 inches square, and a fire hazard with multiple appliances and lights plugged into extension cords. The good news, the television worked and the bed was clean and comfortable.

Kiyana (2/5): Horrible service and super dirty rooms. - Our family came from the Oregon fires trying to find a place with fresh air to stay. Upon arrival there was rotten food in the fridge and animal hair balls around the room. We let that all go due to enough stress until we found an eyelash extension under towels and another persons hair in the shower. I brought the towel to the front desk and told them about our stay and the man proceeded to ask what i expected him to do and walked away. Super dirty rooms and horrible service.

It could have been cleaner residue but it was hard to say. The toilet wobbled when we first got there but they were very quick to fix it when we mentioned it.

Nicole (6/5): Tiny bill/tiny room - The room was so small, no ac. Just a fan. Someone tried to walk into our room around 6 am the first morning. And we just didn’t feel comfortable or safe to stay there so we didn’t actually stay the second night and was not offered any sort of refund. Also the bathtub didn’t drain so I had a tub of dirty water while trying to shower in the smallest bathroom. My boyfriend almost got a black eye from the door knob because it opens up right into the toilet. Will definitely spend a little extra next time to stay someplace else.
Pao (10/5): Good room but lacks AC. - The room was nice and clean. The shower and toilet works. The bed was better than sleeping in a car or in a tent. The room does not have AC! It was extremely hot in the evening and at night but overall, I had a decent night.

Carolyn (6/5): Old but clean. - This is an outdated motor in with paper thin walls right on the highway. Nothing has been updated. The sheets were nice and thick, it had two seperate rooms with a queen bed in each room and an additional twin bed in the second room. Even though the red carpet looked like it had been there since 1982 it appeared very clean as was the bathroom. They had ugly fake flowers in a vase on the table wrapped with a horrible little ribbon bow. We used earplugs to block out the noise and slept like babies. The worse thing was the shower head in room 18. It was absolutly painful.

Thank you, gor holding the room and caring. It was a pleasant stay. I would totally recommend and come back again!

OneTimeGuest (4/5): - Seriously in need of a remodel. The room smelled terrible. The carpet had burn marks and stains in it. The bedspread had a nasty stain in the center. We were able to fully enjoy the neighbor downstairs cussing out his girlfriend for several hours. The road noise was incredible, especially the large trucks driving past. The TV was nice though and the check in experience was smooth and painless.
sablatt (2/5): Never stayed in a worse motel - Check-in was fine, but it was the last good thing we experienced here. We entered the room, and the smell of some ghastly air freshener was overpowering. We’ve had the door and bathroom window open for a couple of hours, and the smell is almost unchanged. I don’t want to consider what smell (and what source of that smell) they’re covering up. The WiFi is barely present. The shower is tiny and unpleasant due to bits and pieces missing. The same is true of other parts of the bathroom. The carpet is a weird material that I would prefer not to feel under bare feet. I don’t know what the other low cost motels in Reedsport are like, but avoid this one like the plague.

I WILL watch my credit card statements to make sure I am not charged for a no-show.

Our reservation was made online it didnt give us an option of down or up stairs. We called the motel and asked for down stairs. The staff were very helpful. We all slept good.

We were not even able to let them out to stretch their legs anywhere on the property. They never said we needed a $20 fee for the key. To mask odors there was car air fresheners hanging on the bathroom door. There was BED BUGS! There was big stains on the sheets.
Verified traveler (6/5): Old but ok - One night stay. Older motel rather rundown but effort made to keep it clean. Got in after 10pm and left by 7am. Ok for our purposes.
KAREN (4/5): Never again - There was no heat the first night. As it was after 11 pm we didn’t disturbed the owners at that late hour but called at 8 am with no answer. we had to leave but contact them about noon. We also asked for no room service but they came into our room, removed our towels we had hung up and did not replace them. We had to track down someone for new towels.
Hardbeenz (6/5): - Not a chain. Bare-bones, inexpensive room-very small unlit shower stall with a good shower head but no exhaust fan to clear steam, very small toilet area. Baseboard heater and its controls hidden and at floor level behind TV. TV broadcast consisted of many advert stations and MAYBE 3 normal broadcasts. Microwave and frig worked and were in good condition. Bedside light was bright enough to actually read under but the switch was a stretch to reach from a reclining position. Personable, small-town staff. Clean, except for carpet which was very old, several/many stains, and in need of replacement last year. Located right on Highway 101 but was quiet after dark with a well-lit parking lot. Dollar General, 7-11 across the street, which rolls up by 6:30pm.
Verified traveler (8/5): - Very nice person checked us in. I like these old hotels. Very clean and ìn good repair. Right on hwy 101. Easy to find. Hard beds. I tossed and turned all night. Room was chilly when we arrived. Took half the night to warm up. Small bathroom. Especially the shower.

Verified traveler (8/5): - This is a nice simple motel that is super close to the beach with affordable prices. Office staff was very kind, gave us a free upgrade! I like the fact that the room smelled so clean when we entered. It's helpful having a mini fridge and microwave in each room. Cable TV is also a plus. They do provide shampoo packets and tiny bars of soap, but I would recommend bringing your own. It does get a little noisyhere, only with the fact that it's on a semi busy road and you can hear trucks pass most if the day. Other than that, good cheap motel!
