• Maho (4/5): - 施設の写真では分かりづらかったですが、トリプルルームはベッドしかない部屋でした。窓もなく、3人分のトランクを広げられるスペースも十分になかったため、非常に閉塞感を感じました。 バス・トイレも共用なので、寝るためだけと割り切って旅行費用を抑えたいという場合は耐えられると思います。 台北アリーナのすぐ目の前で、交通アクセスは比較的良かったです。

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall, this was an acceptable place to sleep for the night, though I don’t have very high standards. The room was clean, the bathroom had towels and toiletries. That being said, there was the mold problem that I smell in many hotels in Taiwan. At one point, I started sneezing uncontrollably, and I don’t consider myself to be sensive to mold. Also, the a/c control wasn’t much of a control. There was no way to adjust the temp, which was 17 degrees C. Could only choose various fan strength and ac or dehumidifier or shut the thing off. Outside temp was 15 when I woke up. At that temp, there should be heat. When I turned off to a/c completely, the room stunk of mold. I could the person in the room next to me messing with the ac controls too. Likely problems caused by building a 14th floor on a 13 floor building.

• A.S. (6/5): - Convenient location and clean toilets in a compact room. The building itself is a bit dated. We found our room and its walls quite damp though there was a de-humidifier. The front desk staff are not very friendly or communicative compared to hostels but still an overall decent experience.

• LSY (10/5): - The room and shared bathroom for the ladies are really clean. The lounge and the room is quite cozy as well. The room abit small but there is still quite a space for luggage. The staff are friendly and helpful.

• SEJEONG (10/5): 기분 좋은 여행을 하고 싶다면 - 직원들이 엄청 친절해요. 도요타 건물의 맨 꼭대기층 인데, 13층에 내리면 14층으로 갈 수 있는 엄청 느린 엘레베이터가 있습니다. 대형 운동 시설이 바로 앞에 있어서 수영이나 러닝을 할 수도 있고요. 위치도 좋고 서비스도 좋았어요. 공용 욕실이긴 하지만 워낙 깔끔해서 불편한건 크게 없었네요. 로비 뷰도 좋아요!

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Extremely convenient location for my particular trip. I had an event at the Taipei Gymnasium, and this was just about a block away. Close to main road and transit, as well as convenience stores and restaurants. Thank you for facilitating a memorable and wonderful trip!

• Kelvin (8/5): Simple but comfortable - This place was quite good value for the price. Rooms are big enough and clean and the stations are nearby. The only problem was the wi-fi was weak and kept cutting out.

Good bars around the area and a close enough walk to tourist attractions like the 101 building and memorial museum. Clean, small and compact rooms and the bathrooms are clean enough definitely worth the money paid and would highly recommend to travellers. Wifi is also good and a nice lobby to relax in.

Just the elevator was crowd sometimes since the hotel is on the top floor of an office building. During my stay, the weather was very cold and there is no central heater, so the room was quite cold.

• jason (2/5): Kid got sick from the room - Third day into our 14 days stay, our child started getting a nasty rash and bad cough from the bedding. The room smell like mold and mildrew with the constant feel of dampness. The couch inside the room have an infestation of mold after looking underneath it. We immediately made the staff aware of the situation and was told we were the second to filed a complaint in regards to mold issue. We contacted Hotwire to cancel our remaining stay and the manager of the hotel agreed to refund the rest of our stay. Our bed sheet were never change once while we were there. Please don’t fall victim like us, stay away from this place. We checked into the ArTree hotel down the street and the living condition greatly improved. You really pay what you get.

It's in a business building without any sign showing. Also there's some pub and clubs in the building, feeling not quite comfortable when getting in / out the building at the midnight.

• dan (8/5): Ok for a night - Just a one night stay for a transit at the near by airport. Very close to the airport and a decent enough area. The room looks fairly clean on the surface until I saw private hairs that are not mine on the sheets. Mattress also a bit short.

The rooms are small with a shared women's and men's bathroom, and that is perfect for a single or couple visiting Taipei. For someone who plan to be out and explore for most of the day, the size of this hotel is perfect. Generally, everything is very clean and neat and the beds are very comfortable.

• Mark (10/5): Great Hotel with Good Location and Staff - Hard to find, but once found it's a nice, quiet hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. The location is peaceful and very convenient if you wanna travel by MRT (subway) which is the cheapest and quickest way around Taipei. Would rate 4/5 and would definitely book for here again if I ever visit Taipei again.

• David (6/5): Convenient, close to Songshan Airport - Hotel is located on the 14th floor inside a building that host offices & a night club. There was no visible sign outside the building but I did my homework before arriving - Google Map gave a good indication & next to Taiwan Land Bank. Hotel is great if you have early flight to catch from Songshan Airport. Sound barrier is not the greatest but once I doze off, I stay asleep until next morning. Wi-Fi works well & there are plenty of coffee shops & restaurants within walking distance. I walked to Brother Hotel for dim-sum which is ~10 minutes walk.

• Han (8/5): Nice accommodation near Taipei Arena - Overall a great stay for me. The room was rather quiet therefore it was not like what other users had experienced. Maybe because my room was located at the end corner. Mirror points for improvement: (1) include a small refrigerator will be great, (2) include a small foldable table for dining will be great.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great view from the window - We can see the Taipei Arena in the room! Beautiful view outside the window! The shower was great! But, for some reason, they turned off the bathroom shower ceiling fan during the night. The room has decent size. Good price too!
• KIN CHOU (10/5): Nice, clean, cheap, good location - 80% of the time I come to Taipei I stay in Mei Stay. The staff are super friendly and helpful, clean room. The ONLY thing is that once in awhile you could hear music from the floor below at night, but that's like 2 times out of the 6, 7 times I stayed there, definitely one of the hidden gems in Taipei

• YIUCHUN (8/5): Convenient and Clean Hotel. Nice staff. - The staffs are nice and help. We booked a standard room with shower. The view is great and the location is just 5-min walk from MRT which next to the Taipei Arena.
• Ya-Ting (8/5): good with the price - accidentally booked a "secret price" room. Didn't expected it was for backpacker room with no toilet..... Not blaming the hotel, but the hotels.com misleading UI and info... The hotel itself was pretty okay. Clean and friendly. Only there is a wired night business running in the same floor. Many hot girls walking around when it was late... sometimes in the very early morning...
• Santiago (6/5): Good for the price - Well staffed, clean, and modern. Location is a bit strange. Beds but comfortable for most Westerners.

Was meant to have free wifi access - was not even provided with the password at check in.... luckily we relied on the 4g sim unlimited data package from the airport 2. rooms were not cleaned properly everyday, the items in the bathroom not replenished daily 3. the walls to the rooms are not sound proof, you can hear the ladies of the night walking in the corridor all through the night coming from the gentleman's club downstairs 4. staff at the reception are not well informed to direct tourist to take the public transport to get to locations in some instances ended up going by taxi 5. saw a staff washing his shoe in the sink in the lobby area where there it is meant to be a coffee shop. fortunately we did not buy or get any from there

• Abraham (6/5): More of a nice hostel than a hotel - Note: This is actually more of a hostel versus a hotel! The rooms are of decent size. It's on the 14th floor of a mix use building. The common area is nicely designed. The rooms don't have their own bathrooms, there is a common bathroom/toilet area. This didn't seem clear when I first booked my room, but it was fine with me. they provide slippers/towels/soap/shampoo. The building is older, but the Mei Stay section is much newer and well kept. The sound insulation is not good, so you'll hear people walking down the corridor and talking in the common areas. You can also hear people snoring in the next room through the walls. So not for the light sleeper. They offer free coffee/tea, and the option to buy sodas and beer. You are given a physical key and dongle for the room/bathroom. You need the dongle to open the bathroom door. First time I've seen an electronically locked door. The price is great and the area is also a nice location, central to a number of areas in Taipei. It's right beside the sports center, so you can go down and go jogging if you would like some exercise.

• evan (6/5): Reasonably priced, but not pleasantly located. - Booked this for a visiting friend, and his review is as follows: Location of the hotel is good, with sufficient food and cafes around. Taxis are readily available downstairs. A convenient neighborhood. However, Meistay is located in a not so pleasant building environment. There is a gentlemen's club on the 2nd Floor. Club staff will be constantly asking who i/we were looking for in their club and, once, even restricted our use of lift to a certain one as they have guests entering! Staying in Meistay is a pleasant enough hotel with acceptable prices if we overlook the club's harassing personnel/environment. Will not recommend it to travelers with family. Kyle
