Guest Reviews
- Adora (8/5): - This was a good and affordable place to stay for one night before our flight. However, there was a lot of noise in the hallway during the night and people repeatedly tried to use their cards to enter our room (possibly mistakenly assigned to our room?). Other than that, we enjoyed the facilities and the room service was excellent.
- Tunggul Henry (6/5): - Staff are friendly.
Room is small.
- Greg (4/5): - Staff was friendly and great to deal with. Breakfast was decent. But room was very dirty. Stained sheets and whole room in need of a deep cleaning. Overall the hotel could use a remodel/refresh. I've stayed in plenty of Ibis hotels before and don't expect a 5 star experience at the price point but my advice is to avoid this one and maybe upgrade to the nearby Ibis styles instead.
- gerard (4/5): Budget by name … for a reason - Budget by name and don’t expect anything else. The room very basic and not very clean . If you are badly stuck for 1 nights accommodation then it will do . Staff is nice and they have a very basic breakfast . They have a shuttle to the hotel but very difficult to find heading from the airport . I asked two airport staff and both said take a taxi .
- David (10/5): - Practical Jakarta Airport hotel choice.
- Bruce Johnny (8/5): - It makes for a good quick stop before or after a flight, nice and dark for sleep, quite quiet, but is a budget hotel. Breakfast this time was MUCH better than last time but we got to have it just after it opened with few customers to compete with.
- Andrew (8/5): - Cheap and close to the airport, there is a free shuttle. Breakfast was great.
- Siti Syifa (10/5): - Nice stay
- Tomasz (6/5): - Old shower, wet floor at the small toilet
- Ayesha (2/5): - It had a weird vibe and the towel was basically a bath mat. The walls are super thin and you can hear people talking. The bed was okay but it felt creepy inside the hotel.
- Andrew (6/5): - The local town was to far to walk ,so you'll have to go on taxis to destinations
But apart from that its ok
- Ferdinand (10/5): Two day stay in Jakarta - Cleaner was good to us and had always had a smile
His name Khoirul
- Joseph (8/5): - Staff seems well trained for extremely busy conditions. They were patient and helpful. There were huge Mecca tours groups relentlessly filling up the hotel, dunno if that's every day. If I knew about this phenomenon i woulda gone another hotel. Room was fine but the 2 power outlets were in one corner, strange. The bathroom had a constant urine smell. Location is great near airport, and eating options
- Mhd louay (8/5): - it's perfect if you have any early flight or short visit in Jakarta,
the airport shuttle service is not that much organized but they are nice and trying there best and very helpful
- Fun Fong (4/5): - A taxi quoted Rp 150k for a ride to Pik Avenue mall which the hotel staff claim is reasonable. The ride back to hotel via Blue Bird taxi only cost Rp 70,300. It seems foreigners are the target for rip offs
- DAYIB (10/5): I Recommend - staff? location and every think else is execcellent!
- Hui Lake Philip (4/5): - Also zero hot water unbelievable !!
- Johannes (4/5): - There were mosquitoes in my room. I took a picture of the fat mosquito, called the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy with the mosquito spray. I showed him the photo and he sprayed my room 2X. Well, that probably helped for 1-2 hours and then the mosquitoes were back!
I checked out around 2.30am and waited for the shuttle in the lobby - and more mosquitoes there! I told the front desk about it and he just smiled.
There were mosquitoes also in the shuttle bus.
I have stayed in the nearby hotels several times in the last 2 years and this is the first time I have problems with mosquitoes.
- Sirapat (2/5): - Dirty
- CECILIA (2/5): IF YOU HAVE BUDGET DO NOT COME HERE - It was horrible. The photos online looked nice, and the lobby itself was cute, but they are fooling you! The carpet was dirty from the elevator until the front door of our room. The room floor was sticky and had a weird smell. The walls are thin, and we can hear other people's business. It even woke us up at night. Never recommending if you had budget.
- Aneta (2/5): - No WiFi!
- David (6/5): - I wasn't happy that I got charged for the room twice - once by expedia and then again at the hotel
- Bruce Johnny (8/5): - fairly quick checkin, close to airport
- Pankkaj (10/5): - G
- Indra (6/5): - The shower doesn't close properly, no hand soap by the sink, can't book airport shuttle in advance, must caĺl after landing, inconvenient when you don't have local cell card, the taxi called by the receptionist asked for more than the agreed price.
- thomas (2/5): only a fool would stay there..i made my mistake. - the dirtiest dump you will never want to stay in again.
to call it filthy is massive understatement ever.
i wore my sweat pants and shirt in bed. barely slept it was sooo nasty.
room is a dump rugs in main hallway beyond disgusting
- David (8/5): - Clean
Friendly staff.
Close to airport
Vegetables were raw, but when I requested more veggies, I was taken to the Bistro, at no extra cost.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Quick check-in process & friendly front desk person. The facility looks more run down than the last time I was there. Unfortunately the green pandan bread was not on the breakfast menu.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Budget hotel, the service is exceptional, the staffs are friendly, strategic location. Unfortunately the place is not too clean, there are greasy fingerprints everywhere. Amenities are enough as it's a budget hotel.
- Patrick (8/5): Decent stay near airport - Pro: hotel clean and new. Very near to the airport.
Cons: too crowded. Shuttle bus to airport is not very frequent. If you need to get taxi they will charge you IDR 50k flat rate.
- Chandra (4/5): Horrible stay - Horrible! We went for Breakfast at 6:30 am and they ran out of food.
Free breakfast is practically a scam since they had nothing for you to eat.
One person at front desk to handle check out, breakfast area and concierge just imagine that
Free shuttle is not available every half an hour so most likely you have to pay an extra Rp 50,000 flat fees to go to the airport. I Will avoid this hotel in the future even with its competitive pricing
- Ola kristian (6/5): Average hotel - Basic hotel close to airport,ok for a night.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The staff was not friendly, the rooms were smelly and not clean
- Campbell (8/5): - Good place for overnight stay near airport
- Lanywati (10/5): - Very closed to the airport . Best for transit guest
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Ok for 8 hours.shuttle to and from airport ok(booking needed to be collected
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice budget place, clean, safe. Pick up and drop offs with hotel shuttle. Breakfast included.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing! Rubbish! Annoying Sensor light on top of head board, Stuff calls from reception at midnight saying a lady waiting for me when I wasn’t expecting anyone.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice Team, good breakfast, great place for a short stay.
- Neil (6/5): Airport shuttle from hotel only, no good for arriv - Tired basic hotel - zero stars but met expectation for 3 hour sleep while I was waiting for a flight. Would be grubby if not cleaned in effort to make presentable. Note free airport service is from hotel to airport, no obvious airport to hotel service, in fact I was told at airport there wasnt one. Taxi required- should have booked the in-terminal hotel in advance, would have been much better choice and similar overall price.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Very dirty Bed brushes, towels and no soap for washing
- HalyeMcGuure (2/5): - The clientele bad and the food for breakfast terrible for $40 a night is bad compared to hotels with the same price in Bali
- David (6/5): Ok but the hotel is getting old - I have used the place for a few years. Everything ages, so the hotel and rooms look a little old now. Also, the room that they gave me the first time was not made up. This could be a simple mistake, however. They apologized and changed the room for me.
But for me, my main reason to stay was because I arrived in Jakarta late at night, so I need a place to sleep. They have a shuttle to the hotel. The price is still good considering what I need.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I used the sink then water fell to the floor and found out that the duck pipe under sink was not there! It was de-installed and not installed back. Found it under the sink. Wet the floor and the 2 towels under neath. Toothbrush and toothpaste had to be purchased for about $2. Shower door cloud not be tightened and water felt to the floor in the room.
- Jeanne Rini (4/5): - I think this is the worst Ibis budget that I've ever stayed. The room looks old and tired, the Air Con was not working well (set to 16 degrees Celsius but felt like 29!).
- Verified traveler (8/5): Budget hotel with minimal facilities - Basic and simple room. The hotel is starting to show its age. There was musty smell in the room. Breakfast was mediocre and not replenished in a timely manner.
- Xuguang (8/5): Value for money - The hotel is a budget one with good value for money, the staffs are nice, professional and efficient. The breakfast is adequate and i will stay again. Wifi is good too
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was poor condition and hard to find
Too expensive for that level of quality
- Douglas (4/5): Not Bad, Not Good - Mist of it was good; a long wait for the free shuttle back to the airport; I had a dispute with the night clerk; I told them I had broken a glass in my room, and OI told them in order that it would be thoroughly cleaned so that future guests would not cut their feet; they seemed more interested in charging me for the glass!!!!! I refused to pay what they asked for that broken glass, and gave them a small donation---the cheapskates! I ate a light meal at the Ibis Styles next door late one night, and the sandwich was good, but the price was very high---stay well clear of that resto!
- martin (4/5): Not worth the low price - Bad communication. Food is awful. Taxis will try to rip you off. Stay at the Swiss hotel
- Verified traveler (6/5): OK Stay - Comparatively cheap, close to the airport and free shuttle. Musty smelling rooms, that didn't measure up to Ibis's usually high standards.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Basic but ok for one night - The room is very basic, the staff were super friendly and helpful, they didn’t have milk at breakfast (!) but the croissants were good.
- Jason (8/5): Satisfying Stay - Generally, the place is out of way, but staying there does avoid of the jams. City is about 1.5hrs drive away + traffic jam. Comfortable stay, with decent breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Service - Great Service, and convenient location near to Soekarno Hatta International Airport.
- FUI SUN (8/5): Good sleep - Comfortable bed and breakfast need to improve.
- Ovie (10/5): - Nice hotel and the staff also helping us when we late to check in
- J (6/5): - This was a slightly worn, sad kind of place. It was fine for an airport hotel, but I would have been very disappointed if it had been a hotel anywhere else as it was soulless.
However, I felt safe there, the room was very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.
- PT (6/5): - Hard to arrange airport pickup. Not far from airport, but it took us 45 minutes to get from terminal to the hotel by car. Facility is so so, breakfast simple, and I don't think that we will stay there again
- Sofie (8/5): - Close to the airport with free airport transfer or only 14rb rupiah by grab. The breakfast selection is great.
- Susan (8/5): Budget hotel near to airport - Ideal transit hotel. Shower is a unit in the corner of the smallish room and no kettle provided but it's a budget hotel after all and was very cheap, including breakfast. Very clean, quiet and a comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly staff.
Five minutes back to the airport and a free shuttle bus.
- Jan (8/5): - The rooms are clean and in OK in general, but the walls do not provide enough sound insulation - hearing other people take a shower makes it hard to sleep.
- Holly (8/5): Good value airport hotel - Cheap, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Very nice breakfast and the shuttle bus was great for getting to the airport, however we couldn’t find it when we arrived and ended up having to take an airport taxi! Otherwise no complains and would return if needing to catch an early flight.
- Yoel (8/5): - I've been staying in this hotel for the third time. nice location close to the airport and free shuttle service to the airport although having odd schedule and not available 24 hour. room is small and dirty but match with its low price. breakfast buffet was sufficient and appreciated for a budget hotel.
- Farah (10/5): Great! - We arrived early hours at 2am from the airport and received nice friendly staff. Size of room was surprisingly quite decent, best one from all other ibis I have ever stayed so far. Convenient shower and toilet. Good for a night stay.
- Yoel (10/5): - The room was pretty decent for a transit hotel, although the cleanliness need to be improved. Nice Front desk agent checked us in smoothly and cater to our needs. Breakfast buffet was quite decent and exceed my expectations, there were 3-4 hot meals selection which is quite nice. The free shuttle service is definitely a win here.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Eat before you get here. The restaurant staff ignored our request for soup. There’s no food nearby.
Check in was disorganised and our room wasn’t ready for quite a while even though we checked in later in the afternoon.
Room layout is a little unusual with the shower actually in the bedroom - not much privacy.
Don’t book this room with young children. The bunk bed above the double bed is very low and easy for young kids to hit their heads.
- John (4/5): - its only ok for sleep while travelling not to stay long
- patrick (8/5): Perfect - All good
- silvia (6/5): Ok for the money. Close to the airport - Enjoyed the complementary shuttle to and from airport. Arrived early after a 22hour flight but unable to check in till 12. The room is very small and the shower was awkward. The complimentary breakfast also wasn’t bad.
- Ivan (2/5): Dirty accommodations - I perfectly understand that it’s a budget accommodation, but there is no excuse for the hotel being dirty with filthy carpets, grimy stained walls in the room and overall poor upkeep. I avoided touching anything, save for taps and light switches and even they could have done with a wipe. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly though.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Close to the airport for a transit stop. Fast check in.
- KUSMIATY (8/5): - It is for transit stay
- Christopher (8/5): GOOD ECONOMY - VERY CONVENIENT. Great for a stay that is a few days or so. close to airport and the free shuttle is great.
- SYED S. (8/5): - NICE HOTEL , CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT .
- Gareth (8/5): Airport stay - Close to the airport which is what we needed. Unfortunately we arrived too late to use the free shuttle but it was good to use it in the morning. The light on the bedhead is annoying as you can't turn off the screen for some reason
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Dirty room, horrible breakfast. Transfer to airport don't take surfboards so I had to pay a taxi to the airport. Breakfast buffet is very bad, completely horrible. Staff were friendly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel is located very near to the airport and has a comfy room.
- Arvin (8/5): Airport Hotel - The only reason you will stay here is because you have early flight or you arrived quite late and need a place before continuing your journey. So yeah it is close to the airport, they have scheduled free shuttle to the airport,it will stop at T1, T2 and last T3 so if you really need to catch your flight you might want to get a taxi (better inform the staff before hand).
Check in was breeze, room was clean and spacious. They have one of those pod style shower and separate toilet.
- Cyrul (10/5): Convenient and Accessible - The hotel is conducive, and it's clean, cheap and very affordable. I chose to stay there since I was in transit going to Semarang. They have a shuttle bus going to the airport. However, I did not know the place and time of the shuttle from the airport going to the hotel. But generally, my experience was great.
- Alex (8/5): Great staff, close to main airport in Jakarta - I stayed here for two nights - the English speaking staff was very helpful and friendly. I was able to catch a free shuttle bus at 2:45 in the morning to catch my flight. Hotel has wifi but can be spotty at times. Decent breakfast in the morning. Plus, a restaurant throughout the day if interested. Overall a good budget place to stay near the airport.
- Kat (6/5): By the airport - If you are looking for a place to store your luggages during your transit, this could be the place. It was exactly what I did. Staffs were very nice and helpful. The room was ok which fit for its price. Smell a little as the shower was one with the bedroom. Do not expect a4-5 star hotel if you pay for this price. It was exactly worth its value.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to Airport with free Shuttle. - Arrive at early night, but shuttle and check-in were very fast. But the cleanness and quality of the property including shuttle should be improved.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Everything is alright, except the hair dryer! - Have been to a lots of hotels without hair dryer in the room, but I can easily borrow it from the front desk. For this hotel, so sad, I didn't the wrong things was that I booked twice continuously for my transit needs in there.
The front desk kept saying that they will provide it later. And 1 hour later, when you call the front desk, they said they will provide it when they had it since all the hair dryers were borrowed. And, until I checked out, it's like a joke to them.
9 days later, I checked in again and talked to them about it. I got the exactly same answer, and exactly same response from the front desk. Guess what, until I checked out, there's still nothing from them. Even they called back to the room to double check for my needs.
I guess the hair dryer must be really expensive and become a scarce resource in Indonesia.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice room at cheap prices. Hotel staff was friendly and it's close to airport. Overall a very good hotel to stay in Jakarta.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Poor info about shuttle bus. Expect to wait - Poor information concerning the shuttle bus service. Not so frequent transfers
- Glenn (8/5): Good budget option close to airport - More "basic" alternative to Ibis Styles hotel.
Cheaper, but still clean and in good condition using the same shuttle bus (be patient/plan ahead...), and located beside Styles - but not as well sound proofed, no pool, or room service & not the fancy breakfast buffet. Value is appropriate (good) for the cheaper price.
- Charlie (8/5): Short layover at jakarta - Hotel within 15-20 mins taxi ride from airport. Ibis budget is hidden behind Ibis style building. The front desk was packed when i reach and que culture is non existence. Check in was swift as room was fully paid online. The room design is open and seems new, however lacking in maintenance effort is clearly shown in blacked silicone works around shower partition which is undesirable. No provision of basic ammenities such as tooth brush, tooth paste, shaving kit, hand wash gel at wash hand. basin,
- Tim (4/5): Dirty - First room reeked of cigarette smoke. Second room we received had food on floor dirty bathroom and used stained sheets. Took half an hour to clean 2nd room. Amenities were sub par. Massage table was broken. All appointments were forgotten. Empty Restaurant took over and hour to cook hamburger then dropped it on floor then tried to re-serve same burger, left without burger and then they attempted to charge me for it. Took three hours to press a dress shirt and misplaced it. Pay a little extra and go elsewhere.
- Dirk (10/5): All you need for one night - Ibis concept is great. Efficienty at arrival registration. Friendly professional personnel, a basic but clean room and toilet, good wifi, hot shower, decent breakfast, swift check-out, free airport shuttle. All one needs.
- David (10/5): Good value - Very good for cheap night stay before or after flight
- Richard (10/5): Convenient Airport Hotel - This is a very convenient hotel when departing early from Soekarna Hatta Airport in Jakarta. I used the Ibis budget which is great value for an airport hotel. I had a delicious bowl of chicken noodles at the snack bar for about $3 for dinner.
- Nicole (6/5): Overnight stay in transit - Pleasant staff, comfortable bed but walls are so thin you can hear noisy neighbours. Free shuttle and breakfast is great but too many carbs!
- RL (6/5): Nice ...convenience to airport - Looks good but less satisfactory cleanliness
And area for breakfast there have housefly
No one cleaning.
- kharismawan (8/5): affordable price - best hotel near airport
- Gobitraveler (10/5): Great Hotel at Jakarta Airport - On previous occasions I stayed in one of the big name chain hotels, speak expensive. This time I tried the ibis hotel which is a European chain and it was a great experience. The room was perfect and cleanliness was great. People were friendly and helpful. In addition there was a shuttle to and from the Airport. All in all a great experience. I availed myself of the Spa with great massage and also ate at the in house restaurant. Food was good and clearly not expensive. I recommend this hotel to anyone.
- Ken (6/5): Good for the price - Fast check-in, room basic but comfortable. Restaurant is canteen style. Wi-Fi was good, and free. This is definitely a no-frills hotel, but the room rate is very low and the Ibis brand name is assurance that you are not staying in a flea-pit. Proximity to the airport is good but a taxi is needed, or use the hotel shuttle bus.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Ms Tong - The location is good and there is free shuttle bus provided, but the frequency of the shuttle bus is too few, the waiting time is too long. The bed sheet and the pillow sheet have some black spots. The room size is just fit for 1 people.
- Theresa (6/5): Ok to stay there for one night - The bed sheets and linens were dirty. The spa treatment the worst I have ever had.
- Anik (8/5): Comfy - The room is clean, spacious and comfortable
- yohannes (10/5): Nice transit hotel for relax - Convenience hotel with comfort facilities. Highly recommended if you need a olace
