Ruime parkeergelegenheid.

- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Serkan (9/5): Superb -
- Ali (10/5): Perfect nothing to comment. - Good
- Angus (8/5): I would return very good spot - Easy access elevator easy check in. Free parking quiet room. Not to much. Only complaint could be not enough lighting in living area just seemed so dark and the bedroom So bright
- Artur (10/5): Exceptional -
- Princewill (7/5): Good -
- Ralf (8/5): - Das Einchecken hat viel Zeit in Anspruch genommen. Wenig Vorbereitung, tlw. durcheinander.
- Ay3806 (8/5): Very good - Water bed was pretty comfortable. Reception was on the opposite hotel.
- Sanchez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- Bo (9/5): Superb - cleaning staff knocked on the door at 8 in the morning. find it inappropriate
- Tomas (9/5): Again in Darmstadt 🇩🇪 - Nice, cozy and modern hotel. Clean and reasonable sized for one person for short stay (1-2 nights). I very much enjoyed Rituals shower gel and other things from this cosmetics in the bathroom. During hot days, it is pretty hot in the room and only option is to open window, but as it is close to main road, you get lot of noise as well.
- CWN1960 (2/5): No receptionist despite the promise of one between 17.00-21.00, TV didn't work & smelly towel - Unfortunately, this must rank as one of the worst hotel experiences that I have had (and I have had close to 1000 stays). It started with the fact that it is on a busy road and the sign for the hotel is not very visible due to the fact that the hotel is set back ca. 20metres and the sign is painted onto the hotel with colors that blend in with the color of the hotel. The entrance is also not very clear to find even after you have found the hotel. It took ca. 20 minutes to get into the car park from first passing the hotel.
Once I had parked, I went to the main door (time ca. 19.30) and I could see that the reception was unoccupied despite the reservation clearly stating that someone would be present between 17.00 and 21.00. There was a sign on the hotel door recommending to phone the 24 hour number. I did this 3 times but no one answered. I saw that there was a card reader for hotel door keys on the left but as I did not have a key, I was not sure what to do. I finally saw that this also accepted credit cards and with this I could get in.
On the reception counter I found my door key but I needed to leave for a pre-arranged dinner. After dinner, I went to my room. The room was neat and tidy and I felt like watching a little TV. Unfortunately the remote did not work. Of course, as the reception is unmanned, there was no one to ask. Before bed, i went for a shower and on exiting the shower i grabbed the towel. Unfortunately, it smelt of body odour so I did not use it. Again, no one to ask for a fresh one...
I won't be staying there again and neither will anyone from our 12,000 workers.
- david (10/5): Highly recommended business hotel - Really nice hotel, good rooms, good location, nice touches to make you feel at home and welcome, good service
- xtinebbb (10/5): Spotlessly clean, lovely staff, nice restaurant next door - Hotel Jungstil was lovely. My room was spacious, very very clean, and comfortable. There was a small kitchen with a fridge, dishes, kettle and the room even had a sauna! The guide book that's in the room is somewhat out of date. It says that breakfast is in the lobby, but it's actually across the drive in the attached sister hotel, and it's included (they did not charge me for it as the book said). The hotel also let me use the laundry for no cost, which was great since I've been on the road for 2 solid weeks!
Breakfast at the sister hotel had a nice variety, and I ate dinner there twice as well. Dinners were affordable, tasty, and the service was great.
- Jean Philippe (8/5): Just to sleep - Hopefully the rosengarten hotel next by has everything
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Ok for a one nighter, no charme, no service, just an ok bed
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice - Nice hotel with lots of character. Loved the telescope in the room.
- mynora97 (8/5): A good business option in Darmstadt - Hotel location is really good, you can make a ten minute walk to lots of important places. In my case it was a 8 minute walk to the place I was working. There are a few things to to (mostly historical) near the hotel. Be prepared as not everyone speaks English or Spanish. You will find great breweries and good Coffee shops. The hotel is clean, very quiet and the cleaning staff is very friendly. Unfortunately on certain hours and days it becomes an automatic hotel so if you are not tech-oriented I recommend you to arrive in business hours since the rest of the time there is no one at the front desk and the door is locked (you can use any card to open it). The hotel offers you a bottle of sparkling water (only one per stay) as well as two sachets of instant coffee. Do not expect anything additional. The Jungstil itself does not have a restaurant, Although they partnered with Rosengarten hotel (5 meters away) to use their restaurant. (Front desk people at the Rosengarten where not as friendly as expected). My room was very clean, and even had a PlayStation 3 with four move games. Advise: CHECK YOUR RESERVATION, mine had an error and since there was no one at the front desk it was a real pain to get assistance (I had no phone).
Do not expect a pool, gym, SPA, or business lounge. This is a young-people-oriented hotel with no extras (It is rated four stars)
I am giving a rating of four, because of the location and the comfortable I felt at the hotel,
- Verified traveler (8/5): One of the better ones in Darmstadt - In comparison to some of the hotels around Darmstadt, this hotel is pretty good. The hotel room was clean, comfortable bed, the breakfast was across at the neighbouring hotel which was good.
Location is a couple km away from the city on a major road. Not much nearby.
The wifi connectivity was poor, always dropping out.
- Mark (10/5): Boring location, nice rooms - First time I was at the hotel I got a normal room and everything was perfect. This time I was there for 3 day and got an upgrade for a very awesome apartment room. The rooms a like new and on the small one there was an XBOX and in the apartment the was a sauna. The breakfast is okay but far from the best and the location is pretty boring.
- Martin (8/5): - Well connected by public transport and free car parking just in front of the door. Darmstadt-Theme room was not in that great conditions as the other rooms that I had already but it's still a very good hotel.
- Mark (10/5): Xbox in the room. - Loved the hotel, it was new on the inside, clean, cheap and had an xbox in the room. No complaints
The area and the view (4 floor) was not the best, but good restaurants near.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Okay, aber Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt nicht - Positiv:
Die Zimmer sind modern und sauber. Der Frühstücksserviceteam sehr nett und schnell.
Negativ:
- Lorena (10/5): Great hotel very convenient - This hotel is always very good, service, convenience
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Service - The man at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind. Rosegarten staff was also helpful during my stay. I’ll be back to stay there for work in the future.
- Hofftarverman (8/5): Modern, Clean, Friendly - The hotel and rooms are modern, clean and well kept. It's a bit far from the city center but there are 2 tram stops 3-6 minute walks away so very easy to get too. It is also about a 20 minute tram ride from the main rail station. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is very light; I would recommend spending the extra ten euro and have the full breakfast at the hotel across the parking lot. I would stay here on my next visit to Darmstadt.
- MilesS41 (8/5): A hidden gem - I stay in Darmstadt a lot but have never stayed here before. Loved the theme rooms (mine was wind but my boss had a waterbed in hers). The breakfast in the foyer is very funky and this place is close to my company site (walkable in fact) so i will definitely be back - in fact I've already booked up for later in the year.
- williamsZ4499DI (8/5): Friendly Service - The service was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and the only downside was the lack of an air conditioner and the occasional absence of a receptionist during certain hours. But these inconveniences were overwhelmed by the friendly service and convenience of the location to restaurants and my business destination. I highly recommend Jungstil.
- Thierry_Bea (10/5): Perfect for a short business stay, modern rooms - That hotel was renovated apparently recently, the rooms are nicely decorated and with a special touch. You can have dinner at the restaurant of the next door hotel, or go in other places within walking distance. I would surely go back for a next visit.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This hotel offers you a pleasant stay.
- hannah187 (4/5): to be avoided - There is no receptionist after a certain hour - I arrived close to 11Pm and used a machine outside to get my room card, which was a first for me. Then no instructions are given about how to access wifi, so I couldn't do any work. My room smelled like cigarettes - seems like a hotel that used to be smoking and there are still remnants of smell. The room is very basic, with furnishings a bit "cheap" (like wobbly soap dispenser etc). Towels are OK quality, bed linens not very nice at all. Bed not very comfortable. The only good thing was that it was pretty quiet (so quiet that it was a little creepy, especially with no receptionist).
The price is very high for such a basic hotel - it reminds me of an F1 hotel in France that costs 40 euros/night - yet I paid 120 euros - very bad value.
- runt1me (8/5): Convenient location - I can't imagine why I'd go to Darmstadt if not for the industrial giant which is an easy 10 minute walk from this hotel. The price I paid for my room seemed a bit high, which I guess is due entirely to this convenient location.
The room I had was modern and comfortable. The staff were a bit disinterested, and anything where a human interaction was required seemed to take 3x too long.
I found the location surprisingly good for my evening run; I went out every night, and in different directions, and had no shortage of interesting trails and parks to explore. If like me you always take your trainers on business travel, I think this hotel will suit you well.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice hotel - I found this hotel to be very comfortable, within walking distance of the Darmstadium (a very nice walk through a park). The receptionist was extremely helpful. Probably the best hotel I've stayed in over the past year.
- BrianS3493 (4/5): Price does not match quality - Spent two nights during business trip. The hotel seemed newly renovated making rooms presenting modern. Late automatic check-in worked well.
However, wifi was never established and breakfast included was like a low budget hotel
Does not justify a price of + 150,- euros/night
- Ian (8/5): Clean, comfortable hotel. - The hotel is clean and comfortable, and within easy access to the city centre and the Darmstadtium (where I was attending an event).
A simple breakfast is offered in the price, which was a bonus, but you can pay for a bigger selection including hot food in the sister hotel next door, if you wish.
I arrived on a Sunday which turned out to be a bad time to try and find some food locally as ALL the restaurants are closed the entire day (including the restaurant in the neighbouring hotel)
My room had a water bed, which wasn't all that comfortable for me - but that is a personal thing.
- AnneB01 (8/5): Good value for money - I stayed in this hotel just for business - passing through. Hotel is modern, clean, very good beds, free parking. Some rooms even have an infrared sauna ( my room not unfortunately). The breakfast buffet is great for such a smaller hotel. This is not an hotel to go sightseeing the surrounding but for a business trip it is perfectly suited.
- 591olgab (8/5): Very nice hotel! - I came to this hotel for week from my company. I was the lucky one, I've got not a standard room, but salon with fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with ultraviolet sauna. everything looked really nice, on leather sofa I had massage pillow, two TV sets, enough towels. Also very nice thing if this hotel is that they serve for free simple breakfast like fruits, yogurt, tea, coffee, juice, milk. If that is not enough, you can have normal 'big' breakfast in the hotel in front of Jungstil. The only thing which disappointed me was that i've got shampoo, shower gel, vanity kit and water only when arrived, after every day I had to ask at the reception for it. I think they have to assure this every day for their guests without asking
- Verified traveler (6/5): Junstil - Hotel Junstil.... I had a superior double room which had a kitchen, separate sitting area, spa bath and separate shower. The room had no aircon which made the nights fairly uncomfortable. The desk is not staffed all the time which was a problem when I left the key in the room, so had to call someone to come and let me in which took 10 mins.
- AxTheReds (8/5): Fresh Rooms - I've been there several times for business trips and the hotel is pretty new. Rooms are big and beds very comfortable.
Breakfast can be consumed standing at the entrance or going to the twin hotel across the yard.
Internet connection at high speed.
No internal restaurant unles you go to the twin hotel across the courtyard.
- B9427SOseanh (10/5): Stylish and welcoming - The Jungstil embodies ease and comfort for the business traveller. The rooms are always very clean, and include unique welcoming touches. The staff especially Jenni are quick to address any business or travel need. It is my preferred and only choice when in Darmstadt
- arnds2013 (10/5): Great Service, Great Room Concept - Tried most Hotels 3 and 4 stars in Darmstadt.
This is my personal favourite, Service is great and you can get a free of Charge business breakfast on the go.
Parking space for large cars is sometimes a challenge, but the great atmosphere of this small but great hotel compensates for These Problems.
- tranpeter (8/5): Theme oriented rooms! - I stayed here for a business trip for a local chemical company down the road. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed is ok (nothing special). If you need an iron, you have to ask the receptionist. Each room has a different theme. My coworker stayed in a room that had a game theme. He had an Xbox with several games in his room. My room must have been the nerd theme. It had a lot of classic literary books. My only complaint is some of the rooms face outside to the street which has a late night pizza restaurant. Some of the patrons were quite loud. The train also runs on this street so can get quite noisy if you have your window open. I would recommend bringing some earplugs. It will help you sleep if you're jet lag. English channels on tv are very limited.
There is a coffee machine downstairs. I couldn't get it to work. In the morning, the receptionist provides quick breakfast items such as some bakeries, fruits, coffee, and juice. There is a restaurant next door that provides a sit down breakfast. Please check if breakfast is included with your room rate.
Don't freak out if there isn't a receptionist at the front desk if you check-in late or on the weekends. There is a kiosk outside that will give you your room key. It's pretty straightforward.
There is an excellent restaurant a few blocks away. Read my review on Mezzo Restaurant. There is also a nice park about 1.0km from the hotel. You're also 0.5km away from the unique Waldspirale building. It's worthwhile to walk there and take some pictures.
- Marassa (10/5): An excellent business hotel - This is an excellent contemporary hotel mostly targeted at German business travelers, hence the location is not quite the best for sightseeing, but everything is easily accessible by car or by tram. There’s a small free parking lot (tends to be crammed). We’ve got a huge, tastefully appointed room (or rather a studio as it contained a fully equipped kitchen) with a large bathroom featuring a jacuzzi. The receptionist spoke perfect English and was very helpful.
The breakfast is served in another hotel next door and is absolutely fabulous with a choice of hot foods and an incredible choice of sausage, cheese, bread and pastry, juices, yoghurt etc etc etc through baby octopus of all things.
- BabakTBZ (8/5): Special Hotel - very clean ,large, modern furnished rooms , special check-in/ out that I have never seen elsewhere , there are just check in/out machine, you would use your credit cards in late night and early morning to open the hotel door.
Seems like a small hotel but every thing fits in requirements of a short business trip.
Hotel uses restaurant of adjacent hotel for buffet breakfast.
I did not see and recreation or fitness facilities.
Certainly I will repeat stay there.
- bearkin (8/5): A very pleasant surprise - Stayed here on business. Was feeling a little negative as it did not have a fully-manned reception. Once I opened the door of my room I changed my mind immediately. The room with big and very modern and the finish was of a high standard. I would definitely stay there again when I am in Darmstadt. The hotel uses the restaurant facilities of the adjacent hotel, which makes up for the lack of its own services.
- wachy (8/5): nice hotel - really nice, I would definetely recommend to book and stay. Lately refurished, clean, really comfortable beds and quite place in the center. On the other hand I would say a bit overpriced for that category (195 euros).
