• Ashley (8/5): It was a quaint little room. Very basic but comfortable. The people were great upon check in and out - Checking in, the gentlemen at the front counter was very sweet and polite. He asked what brought us, chit chatted briefly and filled us in on breakfast, and the info sheet olin the room. It was as we expected, there wasn't anything that disappointed us or would keep us from coming back.
• Ginger (7/5): Great overnight stay outside of Saratoga - The owners were very friendly and welcoming. They even called to tell us we left a charger in our room. We had to check in later in the evening and they were very accommodating. Not many services, but what they did have, like coffee and cereal with fresh milk in the morning was really nice. It was a little outside of town but there was a fun little bar across the street with cold beer and karaoke. :) The rooms were clean and comfortable but could maybe use a little updating.

• WowBL (10/5): Great getaway - Peaceful stay, owners are great people. There is a bar restaurant right across from motel great wings owners are great and friendly. Good friendly bar tender too. So nice to not have to drive for drinks . Location is good to go gamble or shopping in the outlets and visiting lake george. Everything was good. No complaints

• Lydia (10/5): Perfect place for a short stay! - The motel is well maintained and in a great location. It’s small and quiet. The grounds are pretty. Gail and Jeff were super welcoming. There was a ceiling fan and AC in our room, which we really appreciated. Nothing important! Parking is a little tight when all the rooms are booked.

• Kochenderfer (9/5): I will definitely be returning for another stay. - Incredibly convenient for any departure/arrival at the North Sydney terminal. Charming location and very clean. And a welcome and very friendly proprietor. Highly recommended. The outdoor security light(s) are too bright.

We had no control on the heat, but when we asked the owner to turn it up they very nicely complied, also provided an extra blanket. Our room had been renovated and was nicely done although the bedspreads smelled a little like mildew. Great internet and tv reception. There was no coffee maker in the room,but was available in the office. Some Damprid packets hung or Fabreeze Odor Remover sprayed when cleaning might improve the smell.

• Susan (9/5): Great Stay at the McGregor Inn! - The McGregor Inn was exactly as listed on the website. No complaints whatsoever. It was spotless and room included a mini-fridge with a freezer, working a/c and soap and shampoo. On-site owners were extremely friendly and welcoming and gave me access to the room early. There was a bar/restaurant right across the street which was very convenient, and three recommended restaurants within a short distance. I was there for only one night (very short stay), but would not hesitate to stay again in the future. Nothing.

• Ava (5/5): It was an economical place to stay. - The innkeepers were nice and helpful. The room was clean. The motel was quiet and in a rustic location. There was a microwave and fridge. We could park in front of our room. The room and bath were very small. The bed was not particularly comfortable. My husband said his bed had a spring that poked him. Electrical outlets were strange—upside down in the bathroom, near the ceiling in the room.

• JANINE (8/5): McGregor Inn Motel - Saratoga Springs Visit - The owners of McGregor Inn Motel make this place a winner for a low cost room during the "peak" horse racing season. Convenient to the race track and restaurants. Donuts, cereal, coffee and tea available in the mornings. Accommodations are basic: 2 double beds, microwave, small refrigerator with freezer, TV and WIFI. Grounds in front have picnic tables where one can enjoy the lovely weather while reading the racing form or a book!
