- Shenagh (9/5): Lovely for a short break in St.Lucia - Very well maintained and good facilities. Proprietor helped us out with our queries promptly. Lovely cool position with lovely sunrises! Beers in fridge were a nice gesture Driveway very steep but manageable once you get the hang of it! Location a little bit far away from beaches etc so you definitely need to hire a car, but again not a problem once you get used to it all. Suggest the hosts could provide a carton of milk in fridge for guests who have travelled across Atlantic and need a cup of tea upon arrival ( We all know the British love their tea!)

We had a medical problem, and she was very caring and came down to check in on us even when we returned late. Karen tried her best to accommodate any requests and responded promptly. The housekeeper was very friendly too. The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished. Lovely views from the balcony. Quiet residential location. You would need a car to stay at South Sea House. 5-10 mins from Pidgeon point, and in my opinion, the best beach, with great eateries. 10 mins depending on traffic to Rodney Bay. There was not much not to like about South Sea House. It's a good base to see the northern part of St Lucia. The property is gated and felt safe, with our own parking space. The drive is steep, but soon got used to it.

- RE (9/5): Bit remote, but spacious and clean apartment, near Cas and Bas Kite Beach. - Very friendly and helpful owners that life on the property. The apartment is decent sized and has Airconditioning and Fridge (with some complementarity beers and water). It was also very clean, and internet connection was proper. There is space to park the car and the property is protected by a gate. The location is near the Cas and Bas Kite beach. The parking is uphill and I would recommend not to try it out with a manual gear car. It's a bit remote and the road to it is not the best. I didn't really like the bed, but it's personal taste. But still within 15 min drive to Pigeon Island, Gros Islet and Rodney Bay.
- Christina (9/5): Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! - Ausgezeichnete Lage. Man hat fast das Gefühl, auf dem Golfplatz zu wohnen. Für Golfer ideal. Aber auch für alle anderen super, da man eine tolle Aussicht hat und schnell Strände, Hafen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten erreicht. Ideal for Familien, da man ausreichen Platz und zwei verschiedene Zimmer sowie Möglichkeiten zum Kochen hat. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unübertroffen. Ich habe für den Preis keine vergleichbare Unterkunft auf der Insel gefunden. Meiner Familie hat auch das kleine Wasserbecken vor der Wohnung gefallen. Es bot am Abend eine schöne Abkühlung.

- Vítězslav (10/5): Velké ubytování s vlastním bazénem v klidné lokalitě - Nadstandardně velký, moderní, plně vybavený a klimatizovaný apartmán se dvěma ložnicemi. Velká, plně vybavená kuchyně. Venkovní terasa s posezením, vlastním malým bazénkem a nádherným výhledem na sever ostrova. K dispozici i větší společný bazén, parkování přímo u dveří. Rezidence umístěna na kopci, zabezpečená, velmi klidná poloha. Nedaleko Gros Islet, Pigeon Island a Rodney Bay. Doporučeno, vynikající poměr cena/výkon.

- emma (10/5): Perfect apartment - My two friends and I stayed here for 4 nights on our trip to St Lucia and absolutely loved it. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed being able to have a lazy day by the pool. The apartment is a little way out of town but if you have a car or don't mind a short (10-15min) taxi it's no issue at all, and it's a good base to explore the surrounding area from. Karen was very helpful and friendly when we first arrived, and the digital guidebook we were provided with was also very helpful. We highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a comfy, quiet stay in the north of the island :)

Un accueil chaleureux et toutes les explications sont données. Elle a de bons conseils sur les choses à faire à Sainte Lucie. Si vraiment je devais mettre un bémols (pour chipoter) je dirais que les lits sont un peu trop fermes et l’eau chaude un peu longue à arriver et les piscines un peu fraîches. Mais rien qui ne mette de l’ombre au tableau.

- Joanne (10/5): Lovely apartment would stay again. - We liked almost everything about South Sea House. Host was thoughtful considerate and kind. Pool though small was very welcoming. Everything you need is provided and available in the kitchen. Bedrooms were spacious both also had an en-suite. Views are magnificent. WIFI can be hit or miss outside of the lounge. If more of the units were occupied they would likely be a problem with there only being four loungers round the pool.

The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. The private plunge pool and outdoor pool were amazing. Karen and Jerome were fantastic hosts and had two bottles of cold Pitons in the fridge on arrival. We will definitely stay here again. Nothing to fault

- Badrinath (9/5): Great views, caring host and excellent value - Very comfortable apartment with an infinity pool. Views are amazing. All facilities available to cook a meal. The neighborhood is quiet. Can’t think of a better way to spend a peaceful holiday. Not much to dislike but if I had to chose one, then the terrain is challenging. One needs to have very good driving skills to get to the apartment.

- Victoria Hope (10/5): Just Book it! - Our hosts, Karen and Jérôme, were absolutely wonderful! From the very beginning, Karen made sure we had everything we needed ahead of our arrival and was always available to answer any questions. Their hospitality really made our stay special. The house itself is stunning—spacious, clean, filled with natural light, and even more beautiful in person. The view, and the sunrise were one of the highlights of our stay. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for preparing our own meals and made us feel right at home. If you’re planning to visit SLU, especially around carnival time, I can’t recommend this place enough. Local shops, restaurants and most of the fêtes are just a few minutes drive away, making it the perfect spot to enjoy all the celebrations. Thank you for your hospitality Karen! I look forward to staying at South Sea House again very soon!

Des activités sympas sont disponibles rapidement en voiture. Qui dit belle vue dît belle montée. La pente pour accéder au logement est ardue.

Francis our taxi driver was reliable and helpful. We self catered for the week and visited Marjorie’s bar when we had energy. The hills were a challenge for us as we didn’t have a car.

Quiet Neighborhood and Views are Spectacular. I would Highly Recommend a Stay at this Property if you're in the North of Island. Close to Rodney Bay and few other activities. Would have liked at least a TV in one of the Bedrooms and a few more Towels in the Bathrooms. Because Neighborhood is a bit Remote (But accessible to all activities) would also recommend Renting a car to get around.

- Jonathan (10/5): Great value for money, amazing attentive hosts, lovely location, would 100% stay again! - As with all my reviews I’ll be open and honest….me and my partner were staying in Soufriere, our accommodation wasn’t the best & we also wanted to see more of the island, we saw this place become available and had a “it’s too good to be true” moment and from the moment we booked it all I can say is Karen and Jerome were so accommodating, provided helpful resources & guides for the area. I will say that for some reason people struggle to find this accommodation, something to do with Sat Nav’s sending people wrong or confusion as to exactly where it is, BUT everyone has simply called Karen, she’s explained on the phone and then each driver we had instantly knew! Karen also has a taxi driver ‘Francis’ on hand who is a great guy, very funny, and helpful. This place is pretty tucked away, very peaceful so we just did a bit of a shop before we arrived to stock up, then got taxi trips when needed and tied them in with our day trips, in an ideal world I’d say get a car just to make things easier, for us it was just cheaper to do taxi journeys rather than get a car for how long we were there. People have mentioned the driveway, it is very steep I will say that, but I just used it as chance to burn some more calories to eat more food haha! But yeah honestly Karen was so helpful, very on it & provided everything for a truly incredible stay, and we genuinely would stay here again without a question. I honestly can’t think of anything we didn’t like!

For not knowing how far away from the main areas the apartment was. Not being able to reach the host quickly by phone, instead we had to wait for delayed email replies

- Sam (10/5): Quiet and beautiful - we loved our stay! - My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights recently and loved it! A little difficult to find at first, but it's a hidden gem! The apartment was perfect for us - spacious... air conditioned... great views... comfy bed... access to a communal pool... a personal plunge pool (!)... wifi... it had everything! The apartments are super secure and you need to use your key fob to buzz the access gate open. When we arrived, Karen gave us a warm welcome and a full induction in to all the apartment had to offer. This was much appreciated. This apartment is a great base for people wanting to explore the north of the island. We managed to visit beaches on the east and west with ease and they were all beautiful. Pigeon Island Beach was a personal favourite. If you're wanting a nice secluded place to stay, I can't recommend this place enough. Big thank you to Karen and Jerome!

We were on holiday with family who were staying in a different place, There were five in our party and we had a wonderful day out on the boat with Titus and his nephew. It was great as we had the smaller boat just to ourselves. Rum punch beer water and soft drinks were available throughout the day. The shower wasn’t very powerful and at times wasn’t very warm. Everything else was really good. Very comfortable, clean and spacious apartment with a very well equipped kitchen. We had super views from the apartment.
- Mark (10/5): Perfect location for a family adventure! - Amazing location! Karen and Jerome were so friendly and really helpful suggesting the best things to do around the area. I was worried the 90 minute drive across the island might be a bit tricky but it was actually really easy. No problems at all. Just use Karen’s directions as well as google maps as it’ll try and take you twice down wrong roads. Definitely coming back next year! Nothing. It was the best stay ever!

Property was clean, spacious and had all the amenities. I would stay here again in an instant. Host was very responsive as well and wanted our trip to be perfect.

- James (9/5): I'd Go Back Any Time. The Sooner, the Better. - South Sea House is a wonderful place to stay! Near by everything in the north side of St. Lucia. Sailing, beaches, golf , tennis, horse back riding, boat tours, para sailing. Nothing. South Sea House has it all. The driveway is a little steep, but you get used to it.
- Patou2211 (9/5): The perfect stay away from the crowds - I had a wonderful week in the bottom apartment. It was very spacious with a large kitchen area and living room. I only used the larger bedroom in the back. I enjoyed having breakfast on my terrace with a cold plunge and went swimming in the infinity pool at the top several times. It was very quiet as well. I walked to a different beach every day and even hitchhiked as it is very hilly. Everything was perfect.

The view was amazing and the breeze was wonderful. The driveway but I have experienced way worse in St. Lucia.

Really large apartment with own plunge pool, exactly what I wanted. I had a lovely quiet time. Karen was very helpful with organising Taxis. Magnificent view. You need a car to get around, as Taxis are really expensive.

Be prepared for up and down hill if you are walking however no problem for us .

Karen and Jerome were very helpful. It was my first time in St. Lucia, I would defo recommend this property to anyone. I would recommend the property especially for drivers, but if you do not drive a taxi service is recommended. Me and my partner used taxis the whole time we were there, and it was still okay. NA

From the pre arrival communications, to the arrival (late at night), the stay itself with the use of the pool to the final departure, everything was brilliant. The views from our balcony out to the sea were fantastic and the cooling breeze was very welcome! The location is extremely quiet but an easy 10 minute drive to shops & restaurants in Rodney Bay (hire car highly recommended). We particularly enjoyed lunch on Reduit Bay at Marie's Fish Shack (service took a while but the food was first class). Nothing

- Jennifer (10/5): Private home stay with relaxing plunge pool and good views. - The views and plunge pool were very enjoyable. We had all the amenities one could need-the unit is ver spacious and well laid out for a family of four. Karen and her family are very nice and have a plethora of knowledge to share on Saint Lucia and help any visitors with ideas on where to go. We especially loved the food truck area nearby to grab local food, Cafe Ole (great smoothies and coffee), and both Pigeon Beach II and Landings Beach next to the hotel per Karen’s recommendations. Nothing. It was all great and we used many of Karen’s tips!

Just above the golf course, Cas-en-Bas beach and near by Rodney Bay shopping. The views from your guest room are exceptional. Everything you need is in your suite. The plunge pool and pool are terrific.

- Kadi-ann (10/5): Exceptional - Overall the facility of really nice, clean and very comfortable. The area is quiet and very windy. The host Karen is wonderful and easily reachable in case you have questions or concerns. The entrance to the property is very steep. If you are renting a vehicle, I recommend a suv that can easily drive up the hill when parking.
- G (10/5): Amazing little find. - Good Size property big kitchen and shower all mod cons. Clean overlooking beach and golf course on balcony miss the place all ready. Hope to return again we stayed for 2 weeks in the 1 bedroom apartment. Highly recommend. Karen and Jerome were very friendly got food in for us before we arrived. Dip pool is great and the pool. 25 minute walk to the beach. Car is needed to explore, taxis can be pricey but driver was recommended by Karen and was reasonable and friendly. So chilled and a beautiful place book it you won't be disappointed. We stayed for 2 weeks cleaner was once a week we had 2 towels and 2 toilet rolls a week between us we used washing machine to clean towels and picked more rolls up so wasn't a real issue sofa may be a bit low down for the taller person but not really a issue either but only minor things I could think of which could be improved.
- Sophietravels (8/5): This is a good value, beautiful, well thought out apartment - The apartment itself is lovely, beautiful kitchen and views. The plunge pool, etc is such a lovely thing to have. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need and the fridge even had water and beer in it. The beds and linen are really nice and comfortable. Having a washing machine was super helpful. The travel cot for the baby had been made beautifully. The owners make a real effort giving advice and being being responsive. The biggest thing was the lack of air con in the central area. It's so darn hot in general it made it difficult to enjoy being in the central space. Thankfully both bedrooms have it. I wasn't a fan of the pillows - just very flat - but that's me being picky. The large pool is beautiful, but it just feels a little uncomfortable going round to the owners living area to use it.

- Vanessa (8/5): Great Apartment - The apartment was a great size and had everything we needed to cook meals. The bedroom had a comfortable bed, air-conditioner and walk in shower. The balcony was lovely with the plunge pool and views over the countryside and towards the ocean. There was no air conditioning in the living area but a beautiful breeze would come through the windows and on the balcony which kept us cool even on really hot days. We were recommended a local car hire company who were excellent and well priced. It is a location where a hire car does make it easier. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would stay again. Nothing we didnt like.
- Aggie (10/5): Blissful time at South Sea House - We liked everything about South Sea House. Had read great reviews and had to see for ourselves. Funnily enough, many friends and family in St Lucia know about the 'apartment with a pool' so would recommend to anyone interested. Stylish, sophisticated, and beautiful decor which is aesthetically pleasing! The batik posters are fantastic; searched all stores for some to take back to London:) Karen, the owner was very freindly and attentive to anything you enquired about and ensured you received a reply. A beautiful location which we are missing already. No complaints. Wouldn't say didn't like anything however guests need to know that the very short walk to the apartments/pool on the property are quite steep. Car parking is outside the apartments but without that support, people with any disabilities or elderly need to be aware. This does not hinder the location though! :)
- Harvinder (9/5): Very relaxing and peaceful. - South Sea is a self catering apartment, local amenities were close by and they had all of the basic ingredients for daily needs. They were open till 10pm. Nothing really, everything was just great and everyone just so chilled out.
