• Summer (5/5): Would have been fine for half the price but not worth the money. - Location is fantastic. Cottage was very clean. Horrendously overpriced even for a holiday weekend for the type of cottage we received. ($300+\night). Very outdated and small. Even the grounds were filled with old toys or yard games, many broken and not enough attention to details.

Super friendly staff and very accommodating. The cabin we had was very comfortable and was also in a good location. The property was very kid friendly, which I didn’t benefit from but it’s good for families to know. No downside at all

• Steven (10/5): Wonderful family-friendly hotel. - The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was really nice and accommodating. They are very family oriented. There is a nice playground area, which our 5 year old appreciated. There wasn't anything that we weren't pleased with.

Kleine Frühstücksbar mit Kaffee, Tee, Muffin o.ä., Joghurt. Sehr schön. Es gab quasi keine Haken, Stangen, Ablageflächen für "die Dinge, die man aus dem Koffer nimmt". Leider war auch kein Spiegel da.
• Nina (6/5): לא שווה אפילו שני כוכבים - בעלי המקום היו נחמדים והמיקום מצוין לטיולים באיזור. הזמנו בקתה עם שני חדרים עם מיטות זוגיות לחמישה לילות. לצערנו גילינו שהבקתה קטנה מלהכיל שני אנשים ובוודאי אם מדובר בארבעה. החדרים כה קטנים שאין מקום להניח מזוודות, אין מתלים לבגדים והשירותים כה קטנים עם מקלחת פצפונת ואין בה חימום. ביקשנו לשדרג לבקתה גדולה יותר ובתוספת של 600 דולר לחמישה הלילות קיבלנו ביקתה עם שלושה חדרי שינה, סלון ומטבח מאובזר שכלל גם כיריים ותנור. בעיית הצפיפות נפתרה אבל אין חימום באמבטיה וקר מאד, אין מקום לתלות בגדים, חלק מהרשתות והתריסים קרועים. הריצפה במטבח חורקת מאד ולא יציבה.אין שביל סלול לבקתה ולאחר גשם צריך לסחוב את המזוודות לרכב כי לא ניתן לגרור אותן על הדשא. התבקשנו להוציא את האשפה למרפסת ואמרו שיאספו אותה אך כשחזרנו בערב האשפה קיבלה את פנינו. יאמר לזכות בעלת המקום שכאשר הודעתי לה על כך היא באה מיד לפנות את האשפה. בהחלט לא קיבלנו תמורה עבור כספנו. המקום אמנם בדירוג של שני כוכבים אבל ההרגשה היתה כמו באכסניה נוער. שהיינו בלא מעט מוטלים בדרגה זהה והכל נראה אחרת.
• DaLona (8/5): A quaint cottage with comfy beds and a tiny bathroom. - It’s located in a beautiful place and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The bathroom was too tiny, we could barely move to use it. Would be nice to have some sort of shelving inside the shower to put our toiletries on. It would be helpful if the staff turned on the A/C or heat before their guests arrive. Or cottage was boiling hot and it took quite sometime to get it to a comfortable level for sleeping. The property has great potential to become an incredibly comfortable stay.

• david (9/5): A gem of a place - Lovely peaceful place to stay. A little bit out of town but that's what made it relaxing and quiet. Room was clean and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and made us welcome. We would have liked a kettle and drinks supplies to make a hot drink in the evening. Coffee was only provided at breakfast time.

• Lori (6/5): - The property is close to town and easy access if you are taking the scenic train. The staff is friendly and willing to answer questions. There are small cabins and a motel on site. We stayed in the motel and rooms were old with an attempt at upkeep. The space is very limited but beds were very comfortable. I would stay somewhere else next time. There are many choices in the area.

• Rhonda (4/5): - We rented the 2 bedroom house but was just attach to the owners house. It was very old and outdated. The stairs were very dangerous- no handrail, very very steep and narrow. I fell down the flight of stairs - sprained my ankle and injured my arm. This would never pass code. The grounds were unkept. Not much for breakfast. The office and coffee room were so junky

The motel was very kid friendly and family oriented with a large playground and swimming pool. Outside grills and a fire pit for guests to use. Very quiet location and atmosphere. Rooms were dated and a little small. The refrigerator was concealed in a cupboard built into the dresser which was inconvenient to use. The refrigerator door opened hard and the refrigerator slid around inside it's space while trying to get the door open.

The beds and pillows were comfy, the AC was icy, pool was very clean and got great sun, pretty perennials planted around, and my husband says they have good coffee. The window blinds didn’t keep much sun out and no curtains. Staff was helpful and friendly.

• Donald (10/5): Fun, Convenient and Affordable! - Room was very clean and well kept. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My children loved the pool and playground. Much more affordable than some of the other nearby places. Close vicinity to Story Land.
• Susette (8/5): We'll be back if in the area again. - Upon arrival I was wondering what I got us into. The property looks a little run down and the office was in what looked like an enclosed porch. The office had stuff everywhere, and by stuff I mean discarded toys and such. The coffee area was worse. Piles of household items covering half the room. Our room was nice and clean and very comfortable. There was a fire pit off to the side of the building and we asked if wood was available for purchase to have a campfire. The office staff had a fire going within minutes, no charge for wood. Overall we had a great time and would return.

• Kelly (9/5): - Family friendly, great set up for kids to play, and has a campground feel in the way it allows people to feel at ease and encourages kids to make friends for their stay, but way more comfortable than staying in a tent. Lovely view of the mountains, and love sitting on the little porch at night. Would absolutely stay again. Shower could use some tlc, but you can tell they are working to upgrade as they are able.

• brigitte (8/5): - Great little vintage cottage in the heart of the White Mountains. The cottage was small and pretty old but the beds were comfy. My grandkids really enjoyed the pool and playing with the owners’ children. In fact, the kids kept saying they wished they lived there!

The rooms were a little dated but were clean and added to the charm. The continental breakfast was a nice touch. Close to Storyland and downtown shops. We will definitely be coming back.
