• Danielle (8/5): Vriendelijk ontvangst door de eigenaar. Behulpzaam met regelen diner en ontbijt. Prachtige locatie. - De locatie van de accomodatie. Alle faciliteiten aanwezig in e cottage. Heerlijk in regenwoud. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Dichtbij gelegen bij oa boiling lake, Titou gorge en meer. -

• David Evason (10/5): - I was lucky to be there for a couple of weeks and was just enamoured by the peace and the views, the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. The distance from town is the price you pay for the scenery but local buses are regular and cheap

• Juliette (6/5): Site idéal pour faire les activités dans les alentours. Intérieur des bungalow très sommaire. - La localisation, le côté paisible et la gentillesse des hôtes, rapport qualité prix. Cuisine pas très équipée, quelques coupures d'eau chaude et de gaz.
• Dan (9/5): Calme et repos - Le cadre, le calme A 10 mn de Roseau, des cascades et des bains sulfureux Ophelia et son mari sont très accueillants et aux petits soins si vous avez besoin de quelque chose Le restaurant etait fermé mais doit rouvrir mi janvier 2026 avec petits déjeuners
• Romy Phoenix (8/5): Très court mais à refaire - Le cadre est très agréable. Je reviendrai à titre privé. Le petit déjeuner était bon, tout comme le repas du soir. L'accueil et la prise en charge étaient de qualité et réussi. Si la qualité des menus était bonne, peut-être faudrait-il revoir légèrement la quantité à la hausse. Les contrôles d'identité et de sécurité, bien que nécessaires, sont assez surprenants mais je m'y fait.
• Mathilde (8/5): - Accueil au top, personnes très à l'écoute et attentionnées. Disponible et réactif en cas de besoin. Endroit calme et à moins de 10 minutes en voiture de Roseau Un peu rustique mais suffisant si vous ne venez que pour dormir.

• Paula (3/5): Booked 3 nights, stayed 1. Left because of some other personal issues but the things listed definitely need to addresse - Location 1. Definitely needs a facelift. 2. There was mold around the bathroom sink drain that could have been removed simply be scrubbing with soap, water, and a little bleach. 3. No bathroom mat in-front of the shower, bathroom was slippery after stepping out of shower. 4. There is a huge gap underneath front door which allowed critters to freely come in. 5. No microwave and no way to light the stove. 6. No place to hang up clothes.

• PROSPER (10/5): 3 Days in Dominica - We spent 3 days at Ophelia Cottage and it was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here, surrounded by nature. The place is exactly as it appears in the pictures. Our host Ophelia was amazing! Thanks a lot! Highly recommended.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - This place is pretty nice for what it is, which is a pretty basic set of cottages. We had a small, no-frills kitchen. Everything worked and was clean. the owners clearly care about the place -- it was recently painted and had new curtains. But if you're coming from the US, just remember that in the end you get what you pay for -- it's pretty basic. The people were very nice and helpful, and for what it is, I was happy overall.

• Pascale (8/5): - Nous avons passé qu une nuit chez Ophelia , nous avons eu un bon accueil à notre arrivee ,mais nous avons trouvé le confort de la chambre et de la salle de bain très moyen par rapport au prix de la nuitée.
• Hugues (10/5): Découverte de la nature et culture Dominicaise - Très bon accueil des propriétaires des lieux qui vivent en famille juste à coté . Des choses encore à améliorer au niveau des aménagements intérieurs des cottages suite aux destructions causés par l'ouragan classe 5 Maria d'octobre 2017 ( exemple: penderie , décorations , sécurité des portes et fenêtres ) mais rien d'indispensable. On ne se remet pas d'un tel cataclysme du jour au lendemain. Beaucoup a déjà été fait. Excellent séjour. A recommander à ceux qui recherchent un séjour convivial au milieu de la nature non loin des sources chaudes de la haute vallée de Roseau. De plus Ophélia a plus d'un tour dans son sac pour vous étonner et vous ravir.
• Jenna (8/5): Lovely stay - The cottage was the perfect size for me and my sister. The walls are a bit thin so if you are a very light sleeper, bring headphones for the natural habitat surrounding the cottages (insects, birds, rain, etc.) gets noisy. The location is a bit remote if you are taking public transport, but if you have car, it is close to many of the sights. Ophelia and her husband were lovely and helped us get situated with a taxi to tour us around the island.

The apartment was lovely: clean, spacious, cool, had good hot water, and was perched atop a hill overlooking the mountains and valley below. A short drive to downtown Roseau, and a great value for the price. Would highly recommend!

• Verified traveler (6/5): Friendly family-run accomodation. - Accomodation is located in the green Roseau valley, 5 car minutes from town. Upon arrival we received a warm welcome from ownwers and staff. Cottage was aged and smaller than we expected. Tiny wardrobe, inconveniently located in the bathroom! Bedroom small, too. On the positive side, all equipment is in working order. Special compliments for Juliette, Mary and Roland, being so friendly and helpful. Food: Dinner is only cooked for larger groups, upon request. We had dinner one evening and it was delicious. Overall we were happy with our 3-night stay in this tranquil spot.
• Anna (10/5): Fantastic experience at Chez Ophelia! - We had an amazing stay at Chez Ophelia Cottage Apartments. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. Beds were very comfortable as well. We especially appreciated the location of the place. It is right in the center of Dominica, very close to all hikes including Boiling Lake. We highly recommend the place! Worth every dollar!
