• Eleanor (7/5): Nice hotel - good value for money - The lady at the front desk was very friendly and gave us a bigger room for a longer stay. Towards the back of the hotel was much quieter and had a view over the sea. Facilities were practical and the bed was comfy. We used the kitchen facilities downstairs for breakfast too. We didn't like how loud the bar was next door - but that didn't affect us once we had moved.

• Eya Betiina (8/5): Billigt og centralt - God placering centralt i forhold til strand, restauranter osv. Virkelig billigt og udemærket til prisen. Personalet er imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Du får 10% på en virkelig lækker cafe ikke langt derfra, når du bor der (The Eight Cafe - kan anbefales). Atmosfæren og standarden minder mest om et hostel, men du har dit eget værelse og bad, hvilket er en fordel. Regn dog ikke med super rengøring. der er ikke uhumsk, men måske heller ikke helt så pænt, som du har det derhjemme. Men hvis du skal ud og dykke, snorkle og bade og ikke spænderer meget tid på hotellet, så er der mange penge at spare på overnatningen. De vasker også dit tøj, for en billige penge. Wi-fi er godt. Værelset er lille. Aircondition er fin. Badeværelset er fint. Prisen er virkeli g god. Der var ikke så rent, som jeg kunne have ønsket mig. Fx skulle man tage skoene af inden man gik ind på hotellet, hvilket ville give mening, hvis der så var rigtig rent, men mine fødder blev altid mere snavsede af at komme derind uden sko, så jeg var nødt til at vaske tær, hver gang jeg kom til mit værelse. Til sidst gik jeg bare konsekvent med strømper. Men til prisen, var det udemærket og da jeg dykkede hver dag, vil jeg hellere have et billigt hotel, end top luksus. Hvis jeg skulle nyde en afslappende fe rie, ville jeg vælge et andet hotel. Men jeg kommer gerne tilbage, især fordi de var så søde.

• Miriam (10/5): Ich wäre gerne länger geblieben. - Nachdem ich hier einige kritischere Bewertungen gelesen habe war ich gespannt, aber die Unterkunft hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Tolle Frauen, die dort arbeiten. Sehr schön eingerichtet. Bequemes Bett, tolle Kissen und Decke, ein Kühlschrank (!), warmes Wasser zum Duschen (!!), Wasserdruck sehr gut (!!!), Zimmer sehr praktisch eingerichtet, genug Platz für alles, trotz der Größe, da sehr gut eingerichtet. Eine Leselampe (!!!). Nichts hat gefehlt. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich wäre gerne länger geblieben. Ich fand alles gut. Hier nur etwas, das man bedenken sollte, ehe man bucht: Ja, man hört Musik von der tollen Bar gegenüber und Geräusche von der Straße, aber wirklich nicht sehr laut. Wenn man es allerdings absolute Stille sucht, ist die ganze Straße nicht geeignet, egal in welcher Unterkunft, da sie sehr belebt ist. Die Musik der Bar war ab 1 Uhr aus, mich hat es also nicht gestört, ich habe mich eher über die Musik gefreut. Das Fenster muss man ohnehin schließen, damit die AC gut arbeiten kann.

• Adnan Inayat (8/5): Lovely budget stay in a great Khao Lak location — made special by an amazing manager - This hotel delivers exactly what you’d hope for from a good-value, budget stay in Khao Lak, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The rooms are simple and functional, with working air-conditioning, a firm comfortable-enough mattress and everything you need for a relaxed stay. While it isn’t completely silent, it’s very manageable—especially with earphones or light background noise—and didn’t detract from my sleep. The location is a real plus. It’s set in one of the nicer parts of Khao Lak, close to a 7-Eleven, local shops, and restaurants, and within a nice walk to the beach. While the sea can be a bit rough for swimming at times, the area itself is lovely to stroll around and enjoy. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and kind, and while housekeeping occasionally benefits from a gentle reminder, everyone is clearly trying their best and is happy to help. Room TVs may vary, but honestly, with so much to enjoy outside, it didn’t matter much. What truly sets this hotel apart—and the reason I would happily recommend it—is the manager, Koreeya. She is an absolute highlight: warm, confident, energetic, and incredibly helpful. A strong, inspiring woman with amazing presence, she brings heart and personality to the place and genuinely makes guests feel cared for. Her energy alone elevated the entire stay and turned a simple hotel into a memorable one. If you’re looking for a comfortable, affordable base in Khao Lak with great vibes and exceptional hospitality, this is a solid choice.

• Ida (10/5): Very nice! - Very wonderful visit. The staff are very sweet and friendly. Room was cleaned and the staff was very helpful if I needed anything. My room key didn’t work after 1,5 weeks but the staff was very quick and fixed the issue and I got new room for rest of my visit. Also I got wonderful taxi service from hotel to Phuket airport. Highly recommend, it was wonderful to always have little chats with the staff. Thank you very much!

Unfortunately our plans to snorkle fell through due to a thunderstorm so we were in the room more than we had hoped... and its not great for that. The sheets had wierd stains and the room was small but for the price its what i expected. The staff was very helpful and friendly andgot us a great price on a cab. And i felt safe while there. The biggest thing though is the bar next door blares music all night. It was after 2am the first night and after 4 the second. So if youre not out partying yourself, dont stay here. You will not sleep.

This place is in a prime location and will save you money to do all tje adventures near by. It is right next to 2 amazing bars with live music so it is a great spot if you want to have fun at night but can get a little loud.

• Henrika (10/5): Price quality ratio were amazing - I really enjoyed staying in To Zleep hotel. I had a nice view to the mainstreet fron 5th floor. Room was clean and bed nice, AC and elevator worked well. This was very good place to stay and got good value for the money. Small room 9m2 were fine for me but for two people i would say maybe a bit too small. Next to the hotel there was a bar restaurant which had a live music every night starting at 21pm i dont know for how long but atleast over midnight. I had earplugs so i slept ok. In my shower water didnt drain well into the sewer.

• TAKEHIKO (8/5): お値段相応 - 格安なお値段相応のホテルでしたが、遊んで帰ってきて夜寝るだけだったので、満足です。 部屋は写真以上に古いですが、清潔です。 洗濯は1kg80バーツでやってくれます。 部屋が狭いのはいいのですが、棚が何もないのでベッド脇に物を並べておきました。 シャワーのお湯は十分に温かい。 レイトチェックアウトは1時間あたり100バーツ現金で追加できました。 すぐ隣が人気のバーなので深夜まで超うるさいので、4階以上の部屋が騒音の直撃受けないです。(友人が2階でした。) 駐車場ありとありましたが、路駐と指示されましたが、バイクがいっぱいでレンタカー停められなく困りました。 カオラック 中心までは2.4km 夜なら歩いて行けますが、日中は暑くて無理。タクシーは150バーツ　レンタルバイクはどこでも停められて1日300バーツといいのですが、観光客の事故毎日見ました。要注意！そもそも人気のナントンスーパーも徒歩1分で何でもある結構賑やかな地区にあるホテルです。

• Maryloo1990 (10/5): Exceptional - I can write another review because my partner and I stayed here for 2 nights, went on a liveaboard and stayed another night. Price per night is cheap and you get a clean room, kind staff, a room closely located to shops, restaurants and the beach.
• Maryloo1990 (10/5): Perfect to sleep - The small hotel is located at the main street of Khao Lak which makes it easy to reach nearby local restaurants, supermarkets and dive centers. Also the beach is only a couple of minutes by foot away. The staff was very friendly and in front of the hotel you find a small operator for organizing taxis and different sightseeing tours. The room was clean. Not the biggest but for us it was perfect. We spend every day outside and came back to mainly sleep and shower.

• Lord_Woelkchen (10/5): Sleep Sleeper ToZleep - ToZleep Hostel is one of the place where you have to go when u want to be in the contact with other backpackers and have some good nights on the main road. The rooms are noise but clean. If you want a quiet room you shoud book a different one. For us it was a pleasent stay

The only thing keeping it from top score is a slightly hard mattress in our bed and the breakfast was very lacking now in off sesason.

• batterseagirl2019 (2/5): Not for solo female travellers - In my whole month in Thailand I have never had such an appalling experience. After a long and hot drive here I was half asleep when I arrived. I just wanted a cold drink but the owner was keen to check me in. I had booked a double room with mountain view on booking.com at £25 per night. The owner advised this room would be very noisy and suggested I stay in a room at the back of the hotel. As I was so disorientated I agreed and paid. He then tried to get me to book tours even though on email communication I had said I’d do this when I’d settled in. When I got to the room is was tiny! The air con was poor and the sheets and towels not clean. I’d also been charged the £25 per night rate. When I spoke to him it became apparent that he’d cancelled my booking.com room and put me on the standard room rate. This small room would have been 25% cheaper on booking.com. To me this is immoral but the owner basically said it was tough luck. I could take another small room but it would be at his rate and not the booking.com rate. By this point I was exhausted and in tears. He just kept smiling which really upset me. I said I would not be staying and he obviously kept my money but he was really aggressive when I asked for my passport photocopy and personal details back which he had no right to keep. This is the absolute worst experience I’ve had in any hotel around the world. Maybe it was because I was a single female traveller. If you are in Khao Lak to dive please do yourself a favour and go to the Monkey Dive Hostel, the staff there are super helpful and kind.
• shannonh723 (8/5): Great budget hotel in the town centre! - Highly recommend this place for a budget stay. We stayed in both the standard double room and also the mountain view room. Mountain view a lot bigger and had beautiful views, however slightly more noisy because of the windows facing the main road. The noise was still bearable. The bed was a little hard so I asked if we could upgrade or do something about it, the hotel worker promptly got me a mattress foam to put underneath the sheet and that solved the issue. Fridge is available in the room. The towels were average quality but still okay. The breakfast was no overly appealing. It did look as though it had been sitting for a while. We opted to go elsewhere for breakfast. The hotel staff are so accommodating, friendly and helpful. We hired scooters for 250 Baht per day. If you decide to go to the cafe of level 1 (you definitely should!) you get 10% of for being a hotel guest.
• SirCachalot (10/5): Everything you need in a budget hotel - The room is quite small but it has everything you need -- towels, tv, a/c, shampoo, bath gel and water bottles. The breakfast is pretty tasty, a mix of Thai and Western food. The guy at the front desk was very helpful with all our questions, and even drove my friend around when my friend lost his passport. If I ever come back to Khao Lak, I would definitely stay here again.

• wit_bkk (10/5): Great location, comfy room - Stayed here for 3 nights, the hostel is located right in the heart of Khaolak town nearby restaurants/supermarket with 5 mins walk to the beach, comfy room and good breakfast, the owner is friendly and hospitable.
• 798philippj (8/5): Very Comfortable and Clean with Great Location - The room was very nice with one of the coziest beds in Khao Lak for the price, and excellent location within my walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Only slight negative is a not really helpful owner who runs in the hotel. We left a bag in the room and came to retrieve it a few hours after checking out. My girlfriend called him to ask if he or the maid found it. Sadly, the first word the he told her was “ it is not our responsibility “ Seriously? We just wanted to find out if they might have found our bag and where we might be able to pick it up! I really like the room and his staff but .. quite disappointed with how we were treated at the end. But aside from that I highly recommend to stay here, just don’t forget anything in the room! Buddy
