- Rossa (1/5): Terrible . - Nothing. We had an absolutely terrible experience staying here and would strongly advise people to avoid this place. When we arrived, there was no running water at all and the entire accommodation smelled like vomit. There was also no proper heating, the showers were broken, and we were not provided with fresh towels during our stay. At around 5pm on the first day, a man wearing what looked like a dog warden vest suddenly burst into our room without warning and began checking all of the rooms. It was extremely intimidating and completely inappropriate. We had only booked this place as somewhere to sleep after attending a concert that night. After returning from the concert, we noticed money missing from one of our bags. The next morning, someone attempted to enter our room twice using a keycard and repeatedly questioned how many people were staying there, even though there were only the 6 guests included in the booking. Later that night, we returned around midnight, sat quietly watching TV, and were about to order food when the same “dog warden” aggressively burst into the room again claiming we were being too loud. He searched the room, dragged us out, and threatened us with a £2000 fine if we refused to leave. During this confrontation, he claimed he did not even work for the accommodation but then offered to let us stay if we gave him cash directly. He refused to properly identify who he worked for, which made the entire situation feel extremely suspicious and unsafe. We were eventually thrown out onto the street in the middle of the night with nowhere to stay, despite also paying a £200 deposit. One of my friends suffered a panic attack outside in the freezing cold, and her inhaler was still inside the room. We begged to retrieve it, but he refused to let us back in. The lack of care and basic humanity shown in that situation was genuinely frightening and dangerous.

Avevo prenotato uno studio e mi aspettavo un monolocale, mentre avevo addirittura il salotto, camera da letto e cabina armadio. La zona è comodissima per chi deve recarsi nella zona est, ben collegata da DLR, Jubilee ed Elizabeth line. C'è anche un autobus davanti alla struttura, che porta a Liverpool street. Le tende oscurano molto bene, a differenza di molti hotel inglesi. Reception efficiente e contattabile via WhatsApp. Ero al primo piano e sentivo un po' di rumori dalla strada.

He was gracious and helpful. He made the stay better by his great attitude and helped us with our transportation challenges including our departure. Great customer service! There was some damage that extended beyond normal usage. A wall mirror was broken in one of the bedrooms. The bathtub/shower was quite slippery when wet. The water pressure in the main was a little weak it took several times for an adequate toilet flush. Cigarette burns on the coffee table in the living area. None of these were deal breakers. The apartment was generally nice just needed a little maintenance tlc

I recently stayed at Marlin Apartments Canary Wharf and booked the penthouse apartment for a special occasion. While the apartment itself was very clean and well presented, the overall experience was extremely disappointing due to poor organisation and service. Check-in was confirmed for 3pm, and we had even dropped our bags off earlier in the day, where staff verified my booking and the check-in time. However, when we returned at around 4:30pm, we were incorrectly told that I had only booked the room that same day, which was completely untrue as I had made the booking around two months in advance. After questioning this, the receptionist admitted I was correct. We were then told they needed to check if the room was ready. A colleague went to check and never returned, leaving us waiting with no updates. There were three of us, but only two chairs available, meaning one of us had to sit on the floor while we waited. After already waiting around 30 minutes, we were told to wait another 15 minutes as housekeeping was still mopping the floor, and were even advised to leave and come back later. We chose to stay, as we had a dinner reservation at 5:30pm and needed time to get ready. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive our keys until 5:25pm, over two hours after the official check-in time, forcing us to rearrange our plans. This was particularly upsetting as it was my birthday, and what was meant to be a special one-night stay turned into a stressful experience. When I raised the issue, the only compensation offered was a later check-out (extended from 10:30am to 12pm), which did not adequately make up for the time lost or the inconvenience caused. Given the premium price paid for the penthouse, I expected a much higher standard of service. The lack of organisation and communication was extremely disappointing and unfortunately put a real dampener on my birthday.

We would especially like to highlight the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Everything was very well organized, from check-in to check-out, and everything ran smoothly. The apartment itself was very clean and well equipped. There was everything we needed and nothing was missing. We stayed as two adults with two 17-year-old teenagers and felt comfortable and safe at all times. The location is another major advantage. There are supermarkets on site as well as a wide range of restaurants and well-known chains. The transport connections are excellent. Buses stop right outside, and Canary Wharf Station with the Jubilee Line and Elizabeth Line is within easy reach. It really couldn’t be better. For us, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We would definitely come back.

- Ojo Dauda (7/5): Despite a great location, our stay was affected by an undisclosed deposit demand, non-working Wi-Fi, a dusty floor, and - Location We were refused check-in unless we paid a deposit that was not mentioned in the booking. Even after showing Booking.com’s email confirming no deposit was required, they insisted. The Wi-Fi didn’t work and the room floor was dusty. The room also did not look like the pictures shown before booking. However, the location was great.
- Martin (9/5): Excellent apartment for the cost in London - The accommodation was spacious and clean and the apartment had everything you need for a short stay in London. Compliments to the staff who were very friendly and welcoming! All good.

- Charlie (9/5): Great location, nice staff, spacious apartment, will definitely been coming again - Very spacious, nice balcony and working tv for night. Nothing physically we disliked however we were, told to pay £100 deposit when we arrived which we were never told about prior. Wasn’t a massive issue, it would have been nice to know in advance. Other than that the property and staff were excellent.

- Alini (1/5): Boa estadia mas funcionária pessima . - A acomodação em si são ótimas instalações não me faltou nada durante a estadia . Foi o atendimento de uma funcionária uma negra que usa óculos , não me recordo o nome dela mas ela estava no dia do meu checkout , funcionária totalmente desrespeitosa, não quis renovar minha estadia desci dois dias antes e ela sempre dava desculpas dizendo que o sistema estava instabilidade ou fazia cara de má vontade e pouco caso , tive visita de duas amigas no apartamento ela ficou questionando as minhas amigas sobre minha vida o que eu fazia e o que elas estavam indo me visitar , foi uma estatura de 15 dias e totalmente desrespeitosa da parte desss funcionária , mas de resto os demais são incríveis e tem atendimento impecável , reavaliem essa funcionária de vocês pois ela não foi rude só comigo mas sim com outros hóspedes também . Isso queima totalmente o Marlin, sem contar que ela sabia que eu não falava em inglês e falava palavrão , chingava , mas eu estava com um tradutor de ouvido e ouvi tudo , olhem as câmeras de vocês ! Pessima funcionária .

Spacious and modern apartment with a beautiful balcony view. Very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable for a family stay. The location in Canary Wharf was excellent with easy access to transport, shops, and restaurants. Quiet area and felt safe throughout. Everything was perfect but our travel.

- 23fernb (4/5): Not good - Not a very good establishment, made me pay a deposit of £100 when i got to the apartment without being notified while or before booking. Not in a very good area as a woman was literally robbed in front of my eyes. Also barely any utensils to use for cooking.

Location is also great - walking distance to Canary Wharf station etc. Staff is very nice, friendly & helpful. Liked to give a shout out to Arjun for his friendly & calm nature.
