C'est assez vieillot et pas propre.

The was no lughting on my corridor so getting to the room in the evenind was difficult. The were no real windows in the room, only shutters, so all downstairs civersations could be easily overheared.

The room was spacious Upon arrival the floor was dirty and we had to request it be mopped. The slippers provided were not clean. There was no tv despite the booking listing indicating there was one

Lovely friendly vibe, helpful staff - Loved the local boutique feel of this lovely small hotel and the fact that it is a social enterprise. WiFi was good, food was good, bed was super comfy! Cleaners were poor to non-existent. My room needed some TLC. Some lightbulbs weren't working, one of the plug sockets was a bit dodgy and the door to my room was so sticky that I had to give it a huge shove to open or close it.

• Adrienne (7/5): It has potential - It has a lot of potential. I really like the location it is convenient for what I wanted to do. It is a pretty guest house but I think the staff at this guest house need upskilling in communication. I asked for a taxi pick-up, and there was no confirmation, so after 8 days, I cancelled it. I wasn't told the restaurant wouldn't be offering food during my stay. Information on the hot water in the shower would have been appreciated, too.

The floor in my room was quite dirty as if it had not been mopped for months. The soles of my feet turned brown just a few paces around the room. I ended up washing my feet several times. There wasn't any facial tissue in the room. Wifi was so slow and not usable to do work.

Helped me book a few w’end trips away, & could even leave my luggage there which was great. Had some lunches there - also nice. & the pool - divine!!! My room was hot. But it was my own fault for not telling them about the air con. Very silly!! When I said the air con wasn’t working, they moved me to a room where it worked perfectly. So silly me!!!! Just ask!!!

• Jonathan (8/5): Fairly reasonable place with some nice atmosphere and great in-room space and design. - Generally speaking, the room was very comfortable and fine in all regards except for two. The desk was nice and big, so I could easily work on my computer there. Never had time to jump in the pool during daylight hours, or (because it closes at 2:30 p.m.) to try the hotel restaurant, which had a couple of dishes that looked interesting. Lots of hangers in the wardrobe -a lesson for other hotels! If people are in the pool, you will know. The windows don't seal at all, so there is no soundproofing, really. At least it is quiet enough otherwise that beyond children screaming and splashing in the water, there is nothing to complain about. The ceiling fan is a bit weak, and needs some fixing because mine squeaked with every single revolution, which was pretty annoying when trying to sleep, even if I could ignore it during waking hours.

• Alix (9/5): Great value for money and excellent location! - Great location within walking distance of most things we wanted to go to, such as the Genocide Museum, but also many eateries. Whilst only a short tuktuk to things further out, like the Royal Palace. When you arrive, the entrance and ground floor courtyard feels very luxurious, more so than you’d expect from photos. The room itself - we had one overlooking the reception, so not much view - was a little lacking in daylight, but was very spacious and clean with a nice bathroom that came fitted with a large shower cubicle. (Caution if you’re sharing however, as the bathroom has little by way of soundproofing.) The bed was really big and comfy and the room had both an adjustable ceiling fan, as well as AC. All conveniently controllable by the bedside. Overall, I’d say very good value for money.

• Claire (10/5): Cute and comfy stay. Ideal for all sights. - We loved the vibe here. Cute little courtyard and pool with a nice little bar/restaurant. Nothing too loud or busy or brash which is what we like. The rooms were gorgeous and ours opened up onto the pool/courtyard with a small balcony. Everything was spotlessly clean. Staff were kind and helpful and the main receptionist spoke excellent English and helped us with our ongoing journey planning. Easy to get to the airport and all sights. The rooms were spotlessly clean but one room had a slight smell of drains but the other room didn't have this problem. It wasn't worth us mentioning it as everything else was so good.

• Olivia (10/5): Exceptional - The property is really beautiful with big, airy and clean rooms. The rooms were cleaned and we got water refills in the fridge every day. The pool was great and a nice way to cool off. The staff were very helpful and the location is great, right next to BKK market. The cocktails were cheap and tasty. The hotel advertised bicycle rental but they didn’t have any bikes on sight. Instead the hotel offered to drive us by tuk tuk to a bicycle rental shop 15 minutes away, where they rent out mountain bikes that aren’t in great condition. We were charged $7 a day, $2 over the usual rate (with the extra going to the hotel) and also charged for the tuk tuk ride there. Just to advise future guests that it’s cheaper to travel to a bicycle rental place yourself and rent them for $5 a day. The bathrooms in the rooms aren’t very private, just something to consider if you’re sharing with someone.
