Room was absolutely fine and quiet. Slight letdown was the shower which was pretty basic but it worked ok. It wasn’t cheap but it was a good stay for a night. Would definitely return and recommend
• Julie (8/5): - Property was in an excellent location, walkable to both the coast and the train station. Quiet area and felt very safe. Breakfast was plentiful and enough choices to suit anyone. A bonus too. The room we had was fairly compact but bathroom was good. A complete lack of drawer space or shelving though. Limited hanging space. If only staying a couple of nights its fine but for 5 nights we found it a bit of a struggle. Prefer a kettle in the room. Had a balcony onto a courtyard but no furnishings which is pointless so couldnt use it. Bed was comfortable but only 1 pillow. The room was clean and modern.

The breakfast in the morning was AMAZING. The staff were always so helpful and it just felt like a really safe space to be in. Just incredible for the price as well and so close to everything.

Good range of food at breakfast although only hot choice was boiled eggs and toast. Loved everything about it, would definitely return and recommend.

However do be aware if you are staying when it is hot as hell, like in the summer, the AC barely works. Be prepared to boil. A good location though. They say they have glass water bottles for filling with filtered water, upon inspection they are not clean enough. Not up to par and have debris on them. Nice try though. The room is very spacious overall and nice. The closet is very limited, not enough space for hanging and putting your stuff away. They really need a mini fridge in the room. Overall its a solid place, with room to grow and a good location near the train, 15 minute walk to the beach or less. Right near the train station.

• Loraine (10/5): Great hotel in Nice - This hotel is just brilliant. Great location for what we needed. 10 mins max walk to main station. 10 mins from trams. 15-20 mins to sea front. The room was excellent, clean with an amazing balcony with sunbeds! Breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choice. The only fault, if i had one, was the shower was not very powerful and difficult to get temp right but overall this is a highly recommended hotel just away from the main areas but easy to get around on foot. Would 100% stay here again.

• Marian (8/5): - Bedrooms simple but very clean and comfortable, excellent A/C and a tiny balcony to check the real temperature before heading out. No fridge or kettle, but you can take reusable glass bottles from reception and fill them with chilled or ambient filtered water, plus there is a hot water machine with paper cups - we would take a teabag each out for tge day and make tge tea when we returned. There is also a coffee machine you caan buy coffees from. Front desk staff always very professional and kind enough not to switch to English automatically. Breakfast buffet was adequate, a good mix of the usual suspects ( the fresh orange and grapefruit was really well prepared, no pith at all), a fresh orange juice machine was a nice touch, plus a range of teas with infusers. No hot dishes but you can boil eggs if you wish. Only a couple of negatives, at the weekend the staff were slow to clear the breakfast tables and restock the buffet. Also the floor in the lift and throughout the ground floor were really sticky, as people went to and fro to the buffet or reception you could hear their feet, no matter what footwear they had on. (It might be due to the complimentary popcorn and teas available at 4pm each day?) When we checked out it had been cleaned and no sticky noises!

Breakfast is decent with a range of ham, cheese, breads, yogurt, fruits etc. Fresh orange juice is a nice bonus. The rooms are simple but clean. The bathroom had an odd design with the shower in the dark. No kettle in the room, coffee and tea is chargeable in the lobby except during breakfast. Ice tea and popcorn was a nice touch to have in the lobby after 4pm. Good WiFi. Be aware that the plug sockets require a euro convertor plug that has a hole in it. The room cleaning regime could be better, we had cleaners knocking several times including on the morning of checkout which made no sense.

• DIANNE (10/5): Great Stay At Ibis Styles Nice - Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ibis Styles Nice. We had a room with balcony which was large enough for sun beds, table and chairs. It was lovely. Good air con and nice hot shower. Location was great to explore on foot. Five mins walk from Nice Ville rail station and an easy day trip to Monaco on the train. Nice touch in reception with free popcorn, cold water and hot drinks. Breakfast was good with quality food and as natural as possible. Reception staff very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
• Jao Ming (2/5): - I checked out 10 minutes ago and realised I forgot something in my room. When I went back to ibis I was told that I couldn’t go in to grab my item. But instead had to wait for cleaning to finish and wait for them to find my item.. It would have been much more convenient if they had let me up or just followed me up for 2 minutes to grab my things before I rush off to the airport.

It’s a bit further to the promenade and old town, but still within walking distance.
