- Valotaire (6/5): You get what you pay for - Well. It was cheap. Owner didn’t speak French even though we’re in Canada so that was meh.
Beds were clean but old. A/c unit was through the window and creaky
Ceiling was crooked.
But is was cheap.
- Rob (10/5): - Good
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not too bad - Decent price, dated motel but many are in that area. Can't really complain about anything there. Staff were nice, parking isn't great.
- Yuliya (10/5): Amazing hotel with great views - Comfortable and spacious bed, I slept so well and was so rested.
- Tran (5/5): - The receptionist (the owner?) were nice. I booked the big queen bed but when the lady saw us, she gave the room with 2 beds No coffee. There are flies and small bugs.
- Stéphane (10/5): Qualité prix imbattable - Gentillesse de la personne à l'accueil. rien
- Kimball (6/5): - Old building but they gave us the nicest room, big and overlooking the river.
- Mireille (7/5): - Nous y étions que pour 1 nuit. La chambre est vieillotte, mais les lits très confortables.

- Andrew (9/5): -
- Ayman (10/5): Would book again! - Check in was quick. Staff were nice. Beautiful lake view.
- Arun (2/5): - Terrible staff and they will trie to fool you with a refugees cottage instead of a full bedroom. The cottage don’t even have a proper wash room. Beware I am a fellow traveller.
- Omar (2/5): - Not enough towels bed sheets and blanket smells bad
- Neeraj (6/5): - Rooms

- Alice (10/5): - Great!
- Christine (6/5): Was ok recommend for someone on a bujet bed was super clean - Easy access beautiful vue of the water big room Would need a little tlc
- LEEANN (4/5): - This property was very dirty. It had no lighting outside that worked. It was dark and creepy. No safety locks on door inside. But...the bed was very comfortable. And I did get a good night sleep after 16 hrs on the road.
- candace (10/5): - The cutest suite right on the water.
- Eliane (9/5): Superb - Comfortable bed. No carpet. Clean. Very quiet. Nice room. Beautiful location with a panoramic view. Very nice welcoming staff. Great stay. Great value. Will go back for sure. Most importantly fair price. Nothing
- Jim (7/5): Good -
- Irania (6/5): - Good Staff
- Wistom (9/5): Vacation in St. Zotique - Hotel located right on the north shore of the St. Lawrence. Owner was extremely accommodating. Spent time with my grandchildren at the picnic table provided by the hotel along the shore of the river and in the large room. The quiet room had double beds, a table, and a small kitchen, which worked well - especially with a large grocery store only a five minutes walk away. I found the hotel to be a great value for the price.
- Tammy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Patricia (5/5): Passable -
- Middleton (7/5): Good -
- Tary (8/5): - La dame de l'accueil n'est pas gentille (elle est la propriétaire).
- Virginia (10/5): - Highly recommend for it’s unparalleled, comfort and service.
- Micknor (9/5): A peaceful place that is comfortable and clean on the St Lawrence River. Room number 16 is the best - An excellent location right on the Saint Lawrence River with great views out from our windows in room 16. Peaceful and quiet at the river end of the motel and a shopping centre for food a short walk away.
The fridge, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and kitchenware were an added bonus as was the likeable owner/manager. Bathroom was clean and the water hot with good pressure. We would stay here again! An electric kettle would have been useful plus there may be an electrical issue with the bedside power point closest to the door. Otherwise all was fine.
- Haddish (4/5): - At the first there was soap and towel second night no soap no towel no tea or coffee no cleaning done at all.
- Wendy (10/5): Superb. - Older style property but room was bright, airy and well provisioned. Beds comfortable. Kitchenette greatly appreciated. Right on river side, excellent location.
- Marie Roxanne (8/5): - It's an old, family-ran motel. Pretty dated but it was great for an overnight stay. Bed was comfy, unit is clean, water pressure is good. My room had a kitchenette with basic amenities but we didn't really use it. The staff are nice and friendly and the views are beautiful! It was a relaxing stay.
- Komal (10/5): - Beautiful location
- Wilfred (6/5): - the location is great! It is on the shore of the St Lawrence River
- Sam (8/5): - Something was making a recurrent noise at night. Like something was opening and closing with the wind, an air trap or something like that , but good service and nice owners
- Mark (10/5): Undoubtedly the best motel Ive ever stayed at in its class. - Super clean. Quiet. Beautiful views. Restful sounds of water lapping on the shore.
We were just passing through and needed a place to sleep. This is the only hotel in the area, and we were a little weary of the locations exteriors photos on the website.
We were so pleasantly impressed with the cleanliness and how well maintained the room was.
Don’t get me wrong, this is not a 5 star, but you wont find a 3 star as well kept and comfortable as this place. The exterior is a little rough. But that did nothing to hamper my pleasant stay.
- Ruzica (9/5): Wonderful experience - Was a good experience, decent price decent room, and clean and spacious loved the small kitchen with utensils and appliances cups and plates wonderful place over all
- John (8/5): - Economic motel with a nice view of the lake for taking photos! 📸🏞 #budgettravel #lakeview
- Sharee (6/5): - The owner met me close to midnight and insisted i park on the grass which was snow covered. I was driving a 26' Uhaul towing a trailer with a car and knew this was a bad idea but he absolutely insisted and kept saying "no problem". Well it was a problem and for stuck. 3 hours the next morning the 3 of us and a local tried to dig out, removing the car, trailer and buying kitty litter in the process. The owner and his wife were extremity helpful I will admit, they were relentless in their efforts to help fix their mistake including not charging me for the one night stay. On the other hand $500 for a tow truck to help pluck the uhaul and trailer out was obscene and not worth the hassle which also cost me to lose my next motel non refundable reservation of $180. The towels smelled funny but other then that it wasn't a bad room, just don't park where it isn't paved regardless of what the owner tells you
- Mitesh (4/5): - it is right beside the lake. hotel was very old. Heater was not good but good thing is that staff give us portable heater but we still feel cold. Nothing special or unique. Its like you get what you pay for. $90 for one night is good enough to get sleep and ready for next day travel.
- Junafe (6/5): Pleasant -
- TROY (8/5): - nice staff, comfortable room
- Andre (10/5): - Good, clean, and convenient modest motel with a kind owner. Conveniently located off the highway and being on the waterfront is a neat benefit.
Tv has a good selection of channels and the kitchenette is also convenient.
Coming back when im in the area
- Sauvik (5/5): Passable -
- Camille (10/5): Exceptional - The location and price, easy booking and keys handling Beds not that confy, a bit old style decoration in the room
- Beverley (8/5): - Nice property, friendly staff, clean. The mirrored ceiling was interesting!!
- George (6/5): Pleasant - The location, right on the river, was great. The corner room was large, with windows on three sides. The manager (owner?) was pleasant and helpful. We were just passing through and stayed one night. The kitchen facilities were not clean; we couldn’t really use them, except for the refrigerator. We had some trouble with the tv, but the manager helped us promptly and cheerfully.
- Stevens (8/5): Very good -
- Ives (5/5): see review above - While the furniture resembled a garage sale collection, everything was spotlessly clean and was functional. This location was the closest thing to where we needed to be the next morning at an early time. OK for a night - though it was noisy from adjacent rooms - but could not have stayed longer for our own peace of mind. Noise from adjacent rooms.
- Nithin (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Payal (10/5): - Very nice
- Olga (10/5): Exceptional - View from the room #16, fridge in the room, glasses & dishes
- LIN (10/5): - Stayed overnight on the way to Quebec city. Very friendly staff. There is a picnic table just beside the river with great view.
- Bahirathan (10/5): - great place and enjoyed st lawrence river
- A S M (10/5): - Location is great. A family run property and the owners are cordial and welcoming. Planned to stay for one night but than my car broke and had to stay for 3 nights. Owners were so cordial that he even offered a discount on my last night stay plus extended my checkout time. It’s a waterfront property. Rooms are clean and spacious.
- Elena (6/5): Pleasant -
- Joe (10/5): Solid bang for the buck - There's a very relaxed vibe to the whole place that encourages socializing with other guests beside the St Lawrence. I only speak English so it was a bit of extra work communicating with the proprietor. He was cheerful about the interaction which made it worth the effort.
- J. (7/5): Good - It’s in a very good location.
Very clean and comfortable. The rooms were renovated but the big issue is the cigarette’s smell. It’s a Motel and we stayed there during the F1 WE. Hotels in Montreal were around 600$. So, it was worth it if you don’t mind the smell. Cigarettes smell
- Wayne (2/5): - If we were not stuck for a room we would never have stayed here. Room carpet was old and dirty. There were hairs from previous people on toilet and in bed. Light switch for bathroom was actually inside shower curtain when shower was in use. Showed with light in bathroom off. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
- Anonymous (6/5): Good valve clean - location was great. the rooms are old and need to be upgraded some
It was clean but It needs some repairs. No lace to hang towels in washroom , toilet tissue holder coming off wall. Kitchen meds to have dish soap and dish clothes and dish towels so you can clean dishes.
Good valve for price but just a few things would make it better
- Allan (6/5): excellent location,on the river, old dated facility in need of renovation, very good staff - This is an older motel that must have been great at one time, Now it is in need of renovation. However the staff is very pleasant. The basis were all good: clean linen, cleanish room, although the edges all were in need of a deep clean. Bed was very good, most oher furniture were dated. Large new TV. Bathroom old but clean. Kitchenette included with plates, silverware, pots etc. Excellent location on the river. very good wifi. Metro Grocery store 3 minute walk. in need of a paint job, old furniture
- Carole (8/5): - Room definitely needs upgrades and a deep cleaning. Overall it was clean. Shower curtain needs to be cleaned or changed. Paint would make the room look cleaner. Lights need to be cleaned. Mattress should be changed.
- Weiqi (9/5): Superb - Good location, valuable with the price
- Yvan (10/5): - Great place for what you pay for. The front lake bedrooms are beautiful in the morning. I recommend it.
- Louise (10/5): - Check in was easy and very accommodating, checkout was as easy as a key drop. Couldn't get any closer to the river unless you went swimming in it. I will definitely try to go that way again .
- Alain (8/5): - Clean and comfortable.
- marie (10/5): - Its seconde time here and we got same room so it felt like home a bit
- Troy (7/5): Good -
- Alexandra (2/5): - Felt unsure about this property upon arrival as all the lights were off when we arrived. When we got to our room, we did not feel comfortable staying the night. Dirty, dark and overall creepy. We didn’t even unpack, we went to return our key, get our money back and leave for another hotel but the person at the counter had already locked up, turned lights off and left.
- Canny (8/5): - Basic clean economical motel with a fantastic riverfront view.
- Alison (8/5): Very good - Great location and helpful staff. Basic accommodation for a good price for overnight stay
- Bhanuprakash (7/5): Good -
- Charlotte (5/5): Passable -
- Bernie (8/5): - Nice and clean.
- Olena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wiesława (7/5): Good - Beautiful view from the river side room. Very nice and helpful owner. Very close to the river bank, the sound of splashing water. We spend the morning admiring nature and soaking our feet in the river. Cristal clean windows would improve the view effect. Old ferniture
