• Telma (10/5): Cadre magique, idyllique et apaisant pour se balader (même avec un ressenti de -7) au bord de ce magnifique Lac de Joux - La chambre avec vue sur le lac, le silence, la propreté, le confort, le souper délicieux (spéciale dédicace au potage) et le petit-déjeuné varié et copieux… Un tout grand merci à Dalida pour sa gentille attention qui nous a vraiment touché! Et n’oublions pas le reste du personnel, d’une gentillesse rare et aux petits soins pour nous! Je conseille à 1000%! On reviendra! Absolument rien!

• Peter (8/5): Erschwingliches Hotel im berühmten Schweizer Uhren-Tal mit viel Historie und Atmosphäre - Herrlich gelegen am Seeufer, schöne Atmosphäre, sehr gutes Restaurant im Hause. Zimmer im Haupthaus etwas angejahrt, aber charmant. Zimmer im Neubau moderner, komfortabler, aber auch teurer.

• Ralphdent (8/5): Wenn das nur gut kommt? - Wir hatten eine Übernachtung vom Sonntag auf Montag gebucht. Das Hotel-Restaurant, resp. die Hotelrezeption ist jeweils ab Sonn-MIttag im Wochenruhetag. Ich dachte mir: "wenn das nur gut kommt und wir nicht ein verschlossenes und abgedunkeltes Hotel vorfinden", weil wir erst am frühen Abend ankommen sollten. Wunderbar! Der Hoteleingang war offen und an einem grossen verstellbaren Pinboard, hingen ein Welcome-Kärtchen mit allen Infos, Namen und Schlüssel für jeden gebuchten Gast. Das nenn ich mal gute Organisation! Alles klar, wir hatten deswegen auch per E-Mail das Check-in vorgängig getätigt. Wir verbrachten den Abend noch bei Freunden und kehrten erst nach 23h00 ins Hotel zurück, hoch beruhigt zu wissen, dass wir die Zimmerschlüssel schon bei uns hatten. Nur das Wetter hätte besser sein können, damit wir von unserem tollen Balkon mit Seesicht besser hätten profitieren können.

• Matthew (9/5): Wonderful location with excellent restaurant - Beautiful location, room was huge with big balcony overlooking the lake. Road is pretty quiet. Going for a lakeside walk before breakfast was one of the highlights (going to the right with hotel behind you). The restaurant was excellent and we were really well looked after with a table next to the big window and view of the lake. Breakfast is good, but it is situated in a small room with no access to outside. Would have been nice to have option to eat outside, but not a show stopper as it was probably a tiny bit cold.

Le chambres "standard" et sa salle de bains sont vieillissantes et mériteraient un rafraîchissement. Quelques fruits frais au petit déjeuner auraient été appréciés.

• Susan (9/5): Lovely stay in a lakeview room. - Receptionist and restaurant staff were lovely. Large thick bathroom towels. Plenty of hot water in shower. The view from our balcony room over the lake was stunning! Good locked bike storage in a room at the rear of the hotel. Good breakfast buffet. No shower cubicle just a shower curtain which allowed water to splash everywhere. Shower flooor was super slippery when wet. No power point near the bed on one side.
• Lizzie (5/5): Probably one to avoid - A bit tired but a good location and the food in the restaurant was very nice. Breakfast was ok, powdery juice, nice croissants, some cooked options but tables not laid and a bit cafeteria-ish. Room was utilitarian, cheap furnishings, bedside tables that rocked, mismatched bathroom fttings, socket in bathroom hanging off, nasty tiles, view of bins and staff smoking area, concrete steps outside with edges missing, clingy shower curtain, one switch for both bedside lights, no wardrobe, strage alcove with two shelves and no other storage. Felt more like a hostal than a nice hotel. Grey corridors, everywher a bit dingy and slight smell of cooking throughout. Wouldn't go back to be honest.

• Barbara (8/5): Space to spread out and relax! - The hotel/restaurant is central in town but very quiet. Our room was more than a room. It had a separate living room with a comfortable couch. Everything was clean and in very good condition. Our room was up stairs, down a hall, up more stairs. No elevator.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Superlage - Wir waren als Paar im Hotel le Rocheray. Von einem früheren Aufenthalt haben wir es bereits gekannt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der einmaligen Lage und mit der grosszügigen Terrasse. Als Einziges würde ich die spärichen Ablagemöglichkeiten und die Nachtlämpchen, welche nicht einzeln zu bedienen waren bemängeln.
• Megan (6/5): - Mixed review. We stayed on a Sunday evening. Be prepared to not be able to get anything food & drink wise at the hotel past 3pm. Staff were helpful in finding us restaurants nearby that would be open for dinner but without a car options were very very limited. Had a misunderstanding on checkout which whilst was an accident on their side I felt very awkward and uncomfortable about so service then was quite poor. Room was very clean. Lake view lovely. Breakfast was included and was good. Lots of flies in ground floor communal areas.

Excellent repas, très bon service. En bref, l'hôtel sera parfait lorsque les chambres seront toutes remises au goût du jour.

• Roland (10/5): Schönes, ruhiges Hotel in unmittelbarer Seenähe - Schöne, ruhige Unterkunft in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Lac de Joux. Der Bahnhof liegt nur einen Steinwurf vom Hotel entfernt. Die idyllische Lage des Hotels anerbietet sich um einfach mal ein paar Tage auszuspannen. Verfügte über ein schönes, ruhiges, geräumiges und sehr sauberes Zimmer. Im Zimmer befand sich ebenfalls ein Wasserkocher samt Möglichkeit sich einen Tee oder Kaffee zuzubereiten. Das Frühstück (mit Blick auf den See) war lecker. Habe nichts vermisst (Müsli, div. Brote, Käse, Omelette usw.). Auch im hoteleigenen Restaurant lässt sich sehr gut tafeln. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
