RiverRafter-1949 (6/5): Poor experience - The ice machine was not working. The electrical outlet by the bed was controlled by a motion-sensing switch at the room entrance. Hence, the outlet lost power soon after I went to bed.
jaazrepro (10/5): Clean Comfortable and Budget Friendly - The fill in Manager of property was, friendly, Informative, and attentive. He was in a word awesome. This will be my Go-To location when in Blythe. Room was clean, up to date and well appointed, It had soap shampoo and was supplied extra towels to use Pool and Spa. Great parkin area. Even being next to freeway, I never heard the traffic Outside is not new but no litter, or debris around. It appears new management is making this hotels standard above the norm budget hotel.

Valeria (2/5): - We got to the property at check in time and the room “wasn’t ready” after waiting for an hour and a half, we got offered 3 separate rooms, some upstairs and some downstairs so it was very inconvenient. Once entered the rooms were not cleaned properly, I highly doubt, they did the service. Restroom toilet was horrible. And lastly, the parking lot structure is very unsafe, I fell with the parking cement because the wire is out. Staff is friendly but overall experience was not good at all.

It was evident that it will eventually improve, but perhaps they should have placed a statement within certain rooms "apologizing" for the room condition. I just think there could have been a little better communication from management regarding the rather obvious visual issues.

Lanis (2/5): - It was not at all a place to stay especially with kids tub was dirty water barley came out of spout toilet was not stable and toilet was really dirty dead cockroaches the room smelled as soon as you opened the door owner said he just took over management 3 days prior to my arrival and doing renovations but honestly he should shut it all down n open once it’s done. He was kind and funny and helpful and he only charged me 1 night even though I paid for 2 because of everything which was nice I just couldn’t stay another night again

eugened61 (2/5): Bad, not a place to say ever. Avoid this Travelodge in Blythe. - This is the worst lodge we have stayed in in the past 20 years. Run Down, dirty and not worth even staying one night. It shood be closed immediately, stay in anywhere else. we made a mistake and do not want Anyone else to make this mistake. Go anywhere else of just stay in your Car at a local gas station.
Shirley (4/5): Unhappy with cleanliness - There was mold on bathroom floor...and floors were dirty in corners. We had to plug in TV to turn it on and sound would only go up to 10...I have hearing issues but even my daughter couldn't hear it. I understand the need to keep sound down in hotels but not being able to hear at all is sad
Kevin (6/5): - Ok for a low budget motel. Somewhat quiet with some freeway noise. The shower in room 104 would not work at all, which really sucked. They are remodeling but if you are going to rent a room, make sure things work. The area is kinda scary but didn't have any problems. The entire town has been going downhill for years.

Relax07528617898 (2/5): Remodel before you open - They claimed under reconstruction. There was No pool or spa as advertised,no fridge as advertised snd then no hotwater. Rundown looking. I am awaiting my full refund. I say finish remodel before opening..............................

barbmc93 (8/5): Clean quiet and comfortable - Well this was a difficult review. The owner was amazing. He was very friendly giving us options for dinner. He informed us that he recently bought the place and is in the process of renovating. We stay in a newly painted room with new floor and some new furniture and appliances (refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker that uses coffee pods. There was also a new entry door with lock. No breakfast just in room coffee that was great compared to the coffee in the other Wyndham place.

I have been staying here for work during this time. New owners place a high priority on customerservice and the guest's overall satisfaction. They are also remodeling all the rooms and upgrading other aspects of the property including the wi-fi and pool. Thanks tavelodge for making it so.easy and being so accommodating throughout my stay with you.

Verified traveler (2/5): Hotels.com needs to remove this listing. - This motel should not be open. The room did not have a working fire alarm and i believe a fire alarm is required in the state of CA. The room was absolutely nasty. From the so called deco to the day light seen under the door.

LuckeeTraveler (10/5): Nice for the price! - Staff are very understanding and kind. Nicole made the check in process very pleasant, especially since I had only slept for two hours. The room had all the amenities I needed like a mini fridge and microwave etc. Everything you needed was pretty much in walking distance of a short drive away. I thank the travel gods that I came across this place!
goofinrsm (2/5): What a dump, sleep in your car and save some $, it’ll be quieter - Told room had been refurbished and no one had stayed in it since. No hot water, shower head crusted and clogged, no water through shower head. Spa permanently(?) sealed? Walls paper thin, at best. Paint on floor, light fixtures were on closet shelf, open holes in ceiling. But, hey, the TV worked . . .

The door lock does not work. There is at least an inch space between the bottom of the door & the floor. More than enough room for all sorts of little critters & snakes to enter the room.

Y8205AYbrianw (2/5): One of the many disasters in Blythe - This hotel should be torn down and rebuilt. I am surprised that Wyndham would put their name on such a pigsty. Sign out front sez new rooms yet the one we got was worn out, only had one light, furniture was dirty and worn out, door locks did NOT work and there was no hot water. If you need to stay in Blythe, go anywhere else even sleep in your car rather than stay here!
Peter (6/5): - It's a very superficially re-furbished old motel. Beds, linens, etc. are original, likely from decades ago. Motel is adjacent to the freeway on-ramp, so it's noisy. No breakfast at all since 2020, but they say it's impossible to change the advertising. (Lame excuse) Cheapest rate in the area, so it's basically what we expected. But regardless of the fact that we weren't much surprised, it's still a low-end motel.

HenryH104 (8/5): A Nice Stay, but barely over the Edge - Was a little difficult to find as street sign was obscured by parked vehicles. Once there things went well until we entered the room. AC had been off for some time and refrigerator was not cool. It took awhile for these to reach an acceptable temperature. Could not get coffee maker to work, it took awhile to find that the electrical outlet didn't work. We swapped cables and got it to work just fine.
joanna (2/5): - Water in showers did not work well, TV did not work. DIRTY...SO DIRTY. Terrible paint on walls. Painted sink with scratches. Just a cheap night sleep...thats it. Very little care offered for this hotel. Rented 2 rooms and both were terrible.

Linda (4/5): - NO HOT WATER!!!! Supposedly pet friendly, however there was no where safe to walk the dogs; Bougainvilla branches were on the ground which have 1/2 inch thrones! The grounds were so filthy I washed my dogs paws so they wouldn't get the "white" linens dirty! No breakfast of any kind was served as advertised. Juan (?) the afternoon clerk was very nice and changed my room after I discovered a dirty bedspread. Zack the night clerk was also pleasant when I presented him with the room issues. I got the impression the hot water was an ongoing issue. There was also a dead kitten laying in the middle of the parking lot the morning of departure. It was 103 degrees when we arrived and I noticed big spaces around the doors which was extremely inefficient energy use. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

kenpittamca (2/5): Filthy Hotel - Pubic hair on the toilet seat, hair on the floor, filthy shower, stains and the bed sheets. I would never suggest anyone stay at the hotel. The ceramic is missing grout, doors have been repaired with drywall patch. It is really disgusting.
Krystle (4/5): Nothing special! - I was scared all night! To begin the curtains were not correctly on the rail… then the door did not have the top bolt of the dead bolt to secure the door. The shower had burn makes, tile was falling off the wall, did not feel comfortable letting my kids play on the floor. I was cold… only a sheet in bed to sleep with. Would never sleep in that hotel! The only good thing was the guy who checked us in!
Regina (2/5): - Once i arrived to the location I checked into my room the first room 153 had no working television and the room was dirty it looked as if the walls hadn't been painted nor cleaned in years the bathroom and shower area was filthy so I phoned the front desk with my cell phone because there was no phone in the room the clerk came inspected the room then he moved me into a second room 122 upon entering that room it was in worse condition then the first room and it did not have a working shower so he moved me into a third room 119 this room was about the same as the first two the only thing was it had a working tv as well as a shower I asked for a refund but the clerk stated he didn't know how to refund me because he had dropped the money already so basically I was stuck after that experience I Will Never Book Another Room At Travelodge By Wyndham Ever Again!
Brandi (4/5): Terrible stay - Staff is friendly and explained they are updating all the rooms and that prices will start going up, but when I book a king room and it automatically puts a request for two queens is suspicious. So, I check in and it’s neither type of room, two doubles?!! There’s false advertising on the website…beware! The room was somewhat updated, but to put fresh paint over decades of yuck underneath is hardly clean, linens stained and old, walls had holes by the door, giant gaps in the door and frame, curtain’s barely covered the window, filthy old tub and toilet (that was loose and wobbled every time you sit). The sink faucet was loose…could almost pull it out of the counter. On top of old wood furniture they place granite slabs, but the rooms are so small the furnishings hardly leave room for the person to occupy any other space. Wi-Fi is very slow if it even worked. It was noisy being so close to the on-ramp/I-10 freeway. Pool is under construction. Lots of stray cats outside. Parking lot needed weed control.
corby (4/5): Only if you must! - It sucks that hotel/motels have raised their rates to this level for the same exact room from 10-20 years ago! Hate that for 80-100 per night is the new "you get what you pay for" crap places!
Verified traveler (4/5): - Wi-Fi did not work. Very important with limited data on my phone. Also wanted to use my IPad, mainly to listen to music but could not. Cable went out for a period of time then it had to re-boot. Not clear why. Had to wait on that. Thankfully it eventually came back on. So for a period I had no WiFi and the possibility of the cable not coming back on. Not the best scenario when you finally make it to a hotel after a long drive.
Brenda (4/5): - Pros: great price, comfy bed, clean,keurig type coffe maker, fridge, microwave. Nice TV. Great night supervisor, Juan. Cons: Noisy. Major disrepair. Holes in walls. Sunlight clearly comes through door jam. Upholstered headboard was torn in many places. Sink and counter was.painted and was stained and peeling badly. Boxspring had nasty looking stains. Sink and shower head had major hard water build up. And worst of all the water never got hot. No matter how long we let it run. It never got more than tepid.
L8784YHlauriec (2/5): If your bucket list includes staying at the filthiest hotel in the land. . . - You know that scene from Coming to America when you see the chalk body in the middle of the apartment? I think they filmed that here! I’ll clarify - I stay in lots and lots of dives and I never expect five stars from a one star hotel - and I don’t lowball a moms and pops because they’re not the Ritz. What I do expect in a dive is cleanliness -- what I got at TravelLodge Blythe was a room w a fridge and microwave and decent bed comfort. But the room was awful. Filthy (soooo filthy! check out my photo of whatnot wiped off the floor). The water in the shower didn’t work w/out a visit from Maintenance. No ice, TV/Cable didn't work, no hair dryer, no phone, stoop was filthy w cigarette butts etc. And the smoke alarm started chirping at around 9 and didn't stop. Did I mention the filth? We left early (5:30AM) because this place is sooo gross!

John (2/5): Don't expect to take a shower or to bathe - Began trying to take a shower at 4:00 AM (typical low usage time for water in a hotel). Spent one a half hours attempting to get something more than freezing water from the sink and the shower. Should have saved a hundred bucks and slept in the car.

More like a weekly rental place for drug addicts, mold everywhere in room no hot water shower was nasty hair all over holes in tub, floors etc. nasty i could not even sleep in sheets to nasty. could not wait to get out of this place. Shame on Wyndham for putting their name on this place. Pictures online are very old and do not reflect the current status of hotel. sleep in your car if you haft to its safer and cleaner.
Kenneth (2/5): - There was nothing I "liked" about the property. The bathroom was dirty and the tub so stained and dirty that I wouldn't use it. The toilet had deep mineral(?) stains at the water line.....but I did use it(had to). I can't believe Expedia actually books for customers there! I didn't expect Blythe to have four star facilities, but every other time I stayed there, the properties and rooms were clean. The area around the property was sketchy, should I go on?
Robbi (2/5): - No wifi or hot water in my room. Linens looked unwashed and reused, slept on top of all the blankets. The area was very trashy. The pool was about 1/3 of the way full and green definitely not usable. The toilet was about to tip over on its own. Wouldnt stay here again.

tmmcd (2/5): Worst hotel I've ever stayed at! - This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! There was large dirt and hair on my pillowcase upon entering. The ice machine didn't work, no blow dryer, no hot water, coffee maker didn't work and 2" gap at bottom of entry door. I removed my socks and my feet were black from just walking across the floor. The internet came right up with all the bars but there was no internet. There was also no verizon signal there. The guy at the front desk said it was under new management. We've stayed at a lot of cheaper hotels and this was the worst!
Paul (4/5): - This place was not good. In 5nights the shower was hot enough to use only once. Floor was dirty. Needed to wash your feet before bed or getting dressed.
Verified traveler (4/5): - Hot water was out from 3 days into the stay.But was on the morning of check-out.No remedies from the staff concerning alternative showering.There were other issues,but overall it was not a good stay for the money.

larrainek612 (2/5): Awful - Do not stay here. This hotel should not bear the Wyndham name! Room was not clean enough, the towels were dirty, the door didn't open properly, the heater didn't work correctly, and the room had roaches.
Dorothy (2/5): - WHEN WE ARRIVED THEIR WAS NO POWER; WE HAD TO FIND ANOTHE PLACE TO STAY.WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR A REFUND.
