Large rooms that smelled nice. Loved the varieties at breakfast-our favorite juices, HB eggs, granola bars and yogurts! Plus some yummy cereal bars and donuts we wanted to try! Friendly staff and funny signs that made my kids laugh. GREAT AC - but since there was no thermostat (other than high/low heat/cool, fan, off) I had to adjust it 4 times during the night to get the right temp for us to sleep comfortably. If we stayed a 2nd night, we'd have had it down! Nice place; Would gladly stay again.

• Clements (10/5): Wonderful stop in a small town - When I arrived, the owner suggested we visit the Missouri river during sunset and it was beautiful. Perfect swim before the end of the day. The laundry machines were priced well and worked wonderfully. Breakfast was exactly as I expected and the kids enjoyed themselves.

The business obviously catered to fishing and hunting, which was evidenced by a large collection of gun culture material and jokes in the office. We did like the chairs and tables outside the rooms. We were surprised by the born-again internet password since I saw no sign in the office or online representing it as a Christian business, so the password felt like an ambush, since there was no opportunity presented for discussion or dialogue. We are Christians ourselves, but if we weren't we would have appreciated some forewarning. No coffeepot in the room.

• Jim (9/5): Our stay was very enjoyable. - The breakfast was fine and all that we needed. The room was comfortable as well as the bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. They made fresh coffee for us every evening, when apparently everyone else is done drinking coffee for the day. Having a small refrigerator and microwave was nice. They could have had doughnuts available for breakfast.

• Michael (6/5): - We arrived at 10pm and the young lady at the check in desk was curt, stood looking at me, and shoved a check in form at me and told me to initial and sign. She never said hello or welcome or anything to open a courteous dialogue. We felt like she felt put out because she had to check us in - like it was an interruption. Afterwards, while trying to maneuver a 26 foot truck with a car hauler attached, she came outside and started loudly telling me I couldn’t move the truck the way I was, and proceeded to tell me how to drive it, without understanding of the obstacles and sheer drop off in the vicinity she was directing me to drive into. Not a good experience at all. Not the kind of service guests want after a long day on the road.
• Patrick J (10/5): Platte, SD - This is a very well kept motel. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. There is a good sized refrigerator and freezer. That is much bigger than you find in most motels. I would stay here again.

Conrad was kind enough to wait until we checked in late night. We would love to stay again at this model again.
