- Magdalena (10/5): - Very nice place with friendly staff.
- Greg (10/5): - Easy check in, great friendly staff, rooms were absolutely immaculately clean! Great stay!
- Matthew (4/5): - Staff was friendly, but woke up multiple times to people fighting in the hall. Called front desk and they said they’d look into it. Our ac system just stopped working randomly
- Mervin (8/5): - Great place to stay.
- Greg (4/5): - Wifi was terrible
- Beckie (10/5): - Very well updated, Staff extremely friendly. Would stay again.
- Leslie (6/5): - Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Staff were friendly. Convenient location by the 101.
- Pascal (10/5): - Staff went above and beyond.
- Yummoi (8/5): - Friendly staff, ok breakfast, easy access to highway. TV remote didn’t
work . No elevators , had to carry luggage up one floor. Reasonable price for budget conscious travellers.
- Dragan (8/5): - Great location, great view from the room, easy parking, clean room, ok breakfast.
- Robert (10/5): - Efficient check in. Cleanliness.
- Stace (6/5): - This hotel reminded me of an old Best Western. The location was terrible, it was off the highway as I knew it would be, but it was isolated with the other buildings around that don’t contribute to tourism. The room was dated, the AC was loud, and the price was expensive for what a guest receives! I booked the room at $166 per night + fees, however, later that night, my emailed receipt showed $229 + fees and Expedia points used. The price somehow increased from when I selected my room, to when I clicked the booking button. As for the positives, the front desk was friendly, the breakfast convenient, and it was a quiet hotel.
- Natashia (6/5): Nice hotel b be aware of booking, unfriendly staff - So our checkin was fabulous! Friday night the young gentleman was amazing. It ends there. The person on the drsk the next twi days was unaccomidating, he was not friendly, we asked for a bottle of water, we were given them at checkout, he repied they only did sonat checkin and told us to purchase from the vending machines. Just thr wrong person in that position. Then there was a breakfast included, but the staffer working the breakfast , same person both days, didn't want to refill the coffee, the hot foods, ie the bacon or ham or sausage even though there was a half hour left for breakfast. She was not friendly at all. And i would advise anyone booking there make sure you have a confirmation of booking, a lady was checking out and being charged for 2 rooms. She had booked a room, never received a confirmation then called the hotel to see if the booking went through. She was told.
It didn't go thso she booked another room.
And then found out when she was che knows that she had been charged for 2 rooms. I just hope she doesn't have to pay for the other room.
- Hershan (8/5): - Good
- PAUL (10/5): - everything was satisfactory. great breakfast , clean property , friendly staff .enjoyed our stay
- hilbert (10/5): - best breakfast of our trip
- Jason (8/5): - Clean and convenient.
- Ernst (8/5): - Good place to stay
- David (10/5): - The included expressos, and the one site laundry were both a treat. Thank you!
- Dan (10/5): - Great breakfast amazing staff
- Randal (8/5): - Priced accordingly to others in the area, but I felt that the price I paid was too high considering the lack of amenities.
The hotel just feels very dated. No elevator. No gym. No restaurant. No pool. The bed options were one double or two twin beds. I was traveling with a friend so we had to go with the two twin beds. It's very rare in my experience to find a hotel with no queen or king beds. The vending machine on level two only takes cash. Would be great to see one accepting cards.
The pros were the location as it was right off the highway. Only seconds away from the Bip Stop, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean.
- Gary (10/5): Great stay. - Nice staff, great amenities, super room. Nice breakfast.
- Grace Kelly (10/5): - Convenient
- JoAnn (10/5): - Check in was easy and quick. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
- Dawn (10/5): - The service was great
- Wendy (6/5): - The rooms were clean but carpet old and musty smell
The garbage bin outside was overflowing
- Nancy (10/5): - Very friendly, clean, quiet great coffee and breakfast
- Alyssa (8/5): - Overall the place is clean, and the staff are so incredibly nice. The bed was nice and soft, and there was a really good selection for breakfast which was a bonus.
Its close to a lot of things, and check in/out was simple and quick.
I would easily choose to stay here again on my next trip.
- Barb (4/5): - For $250 a night I would expect the standard of a clean room, a comfortable bed and linen. These things were provided, however that is where it ended for me and I don’t like to give negative reviews. This inn allows dogs, so your room may have previously housed animals. Unfortunately, I was given a room on the ground floor and was unable to change to a floor above. The ground floor seems to be reserved for those with animals so they can easily take them in and out for the washroom. This wouldn’t be that big of an issue, except that you hear everything from walking down the hallway, talking, closing of doors, banging of doors, panting of dogs. If there’s a noise to be heard you are going to hear it all hours of the night. I could hear people with their TVs and if they swipe the wrong room with a card. I didn’t feel particularly safe here. Because it was a busy weekend. I was unable to get any other bookings in the area so I didn’t have a choice, but I will not be going back unless I get put on the second floor, which I’ve discovered has been completely renovated with consideration around the noise on the other floors so if you have to book this hotel ask for the second floor. They really should only be charging about 150 to 170 a night for anything that’s not on the second floor that’s been renovated.
- Erin (10/5): - This hotel is beautiful and a perfect spot to stay. Close to everything. The front staff are super nice and welcoming. The cleaning staff didn’t come until 6pm so if you like your room clean try to make use of your time around then bc we stayed for 3 days and didn’t get our room cleaned twice. No big deal for us so it didn’t matter. We were happy with new towels lol. The breakfast is perfect. The coffee is delicious. We would highly recommend this hotel for sure. We will def stay again.
- Victor (8/5): - Hotel was decent, had some nice touches and a good breakfast. Awesome 24/7 coffee bar which was worth the price of the stay.
Woke up a couple times to loud sirens from the freeway beside it. Noise from hallways is kinda loud and the pillows were too thick and firm for my liking.
- Evelyn (10/5): - The staff was very helpful and professional
- Carla (10/5): - Very convenient location, wonderful front desk staff!
- Susan (10/5): - Excellent above and beyond service by the front desk when we needed help with the washer/dryer. The room had everything we needed.
Thank you.
- Heather (8/5): - The front desk staff were excellent. Very Friendly with a bit of laughter at check in. Approximately 30 minutes after we arrived in our room, we received a call from the front desk to make certain everything was ok. A nice touch.
- Bentley (4/5): - I reserved a room with two double beds, the room had two single beds. The staff offered me a cot.
- Darlene (10/5): - Wonderful staff.
- Coleen (10/5): - We checked in late and the staff was super helpful and very friendly
- ibrahim (4/5): - My room had carpet, and it smelled like feet.
Also breakfast has very very limited choices.
- Rosalie (8/5): - The toilets should have been taller for us partially handicapped people.
- james (10/5): - Had a nice breakfast
- Linda (8/5): - Clean. Just finishing remos
- Anna (6/5): - The staff were incredible. Although the property was clean, it had an odour, not just in our room on the first floor, but in the hallway outside our room as well. It smelled like a wet dog. We addressed this with the front desk and they had the cleaning staff 'treat' the carpets in our room which did take away some of the smell. I would recommend an off season replacement of the carpets.
- Guylaine (10/5): - Excellent
- Kari (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Carter (10/5): Fantastic Hotel - Provided the needed place to put my head while visiting a sick family member. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was provided each morning and included some hot dishes, eggs, ham, sausage which was a pleasant surprise. Staff was kind and professional.
- John (8/5): - Nothing spectacular but a good, clean option at a reasonable price. We were not aware the hotel does not have an elevator but check staff saw my wife using a cane and immediately made a room change (without us asking) so that she didn’t have to negotiate stairs so 5 stars to those guys!
Breakfast is included but is average at best.
Would I stay there again? Yes. It’s quiet, it’s clean, it’s conveniently located.
- Patrick (10/5): - Clean rooms, comfy beds quiet hotel close to all amenities and attractions
- Mark (8/5): - Clean, updated property, helpful staff. Lots of parking
- Antoine Jr (10/5): - Personal at the front desk ware amazing !!
- Lynn (4/5): - The AC in my room didn't work well enough to keep the room a comfortable temperature.
- Keith (6/5): - The front desk clerk who checked me in was polite and helpful. However, our room was small, really dated, and the air conditioner which was also really dated struggled to keep the room cool. The rate we paid, which was quite expensive based on what we got, included a typical and basic continental breakfast. However, I was very impressed with the automated espresso machine in the lobby - a nice surprise.
- eric (2/5): - Rooms are small and uncomfortable. Bathroom is super small. Shower is plastic. Poor design. Over priced. Too close to the highway. Noisy. Breakfast was uninspired and mediocre.
- Suman (10/5): - Great spot for a stay! Clean, quiet, friendly and helpful staff - and the bed was really comfortable :)
- Alex (10/5): - Could use a swimming pool!
- Elaine (10/5): - Everything was great, thanks
- Dave (10/5): - Friendly staff. great breakfast
- Dwayne (8/5): - Good price. Quiet. We will stay again.
- James (8/5): - Great place to stay and walking distance to our favourite pub. Will stay again.
- Jeanne (4/5): - We were in room 206 which was a connecting room to 208.
We had to call front desk twice for extensive noise at 11 pm and still going on at 1am when we called again.
The extensive noise finally stopped at 2am.
Front desk call them twice to bring down the noise but they did not come to see them.
- Edwina (10/5): - The property is nicely renovated. Very clean and inviting. Staff at the front desk were very nice and made us feel welcome.
- Robert (10/5): - As always A++. Centrally located. Great stay.
- George (10/5): - The employee at the lobby was a positive person to make you feel at home.
- Paul A (10/5): - friendly, accommodating staff, clean rooms
- kathleen (2/5): - The room was infested with ants and the man working the front desk had absolutely horrible body odor. All the staff did was apologize for the ant problem and seemed as tho they were well aware of the problem but said nothing about it at check in. The room smelled bad too. Bad room and bad staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was great. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - very nice , short to everything , will stay again
- Joyce (10/5): - Staff very pleasant and helpful.
- Chris (10/5): - Great stay everything you need
- John Andrew (8/5): - Friendly staff. Great place to stay.
- Beth (8/5): - Front desk staff were great. Loved the matress and bedding.
Good breakfast.
Only one restaurant within walking distance but super close to the highway.
- Robert (10/5): - Awesome staff, a quiet location and close to amenities.
- Tom (10/5): - Beds were comfortable and TV had a stream feature which was useful. They have definitely done some upgrades since the time I stayed at this hotel. Convenient place to stay in the area if want to be close to highway or New Minas. Motorcycle friendly :)
- Suzanne (10/5): - I wss very impressed with the condition of my room, room services and continental breakfast every morning. I was disappointed that there is no elevator with 3 viable floors.
Amazing staff for ll enquiries and assistance.
- Russell (10/5): - Bed is comfy, room clean, slept well, complementary breakfast is decent.
- Lorraine (10/5): - Very Clean motel and great staff
- Tim (6/5): Soft and lumpy bed - The bed was terrible.
Soft and lumpy, also on an angle so your head is 2 inches lower than your feet.
It was a lot of money for little sleep.
- Boyd (10/5): - Quiet
- Barbara (8/5): - This motel is central to our relatives and an easy drive in many directions.
- Marc (2/5): - Would
- Carol Marie (8/5): - It's been a few summer's that we've been going to Slumber Inn for 2-3 nights...
The staff and service are great!!!
Very friendly!😊
The room is clean and comfortable.
We like the location, cause it's close enough to everything, but, being in the outskirts, it's quiet...
The only complaint is that the doors are noisy...
You can easily hear doors closing which is annoying when you go to bed early like we do...
However, I'm sure it's similar in other establishments...
- Sue (6/5): Review - The room had ants. I had ants on me in bed
- Margaret (10/5): - Location
- Cori (8/5): - The go-to spot to stay in the area!
- Vivian (8/5): - stayed overnight, lovely, quiet and comfy.
- Stephen (10/5): - Staff was very helpful
- Debra (8/5): - Was good

- RicknJen (6/5): - It was a small, clean, no frills room
- Liam (10/5): - Amazing staff quality and well cared for rooms
- Lester (10/5): - Great place that has everything you need for a short stay
- George (10/5): - We were very happy with our stay!
- Susan C (8/5): - Went smoothly.
- Thelma (10/5): - Top quality and clean. We’d stay there again.
