Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great amenities on site. Comfy cabin and a fab place to stay for visiting dollywood.
- Maryjo (4/5): - Small Cute cabins were nice Close to Dollywood and other activities
- Andrew (8/5): - The cabin we stayed in was clean, nice, but in need of some basic maintenance
- Mark (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was too small to hang out in for a long period of time. We were gone most of the day so it worked for us. We will definitely stay again.
- Joy (6/5): - It was relatively quite and conviently locared to most of Pigeon Forge's main attractions.
It was smaller inside than I thought it was going to be. I think I saw the pictures of one of the 3 bigger cabins instead of the smaller ones.
The hot water did run out before all of us got showers each night. We either took cold showers or split up taking showers at night and the next morning .
Be very careful with kids or adults , climbing up onto the top bunk, the ceiling fan when turned on is very close to their heads on the way up.
- Thomas (10/5): Amazing - It was wonderful have stayed there twice and loved it both times 👍
- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent cabin for cost, great staff, smelly bed - The staff, hands down, are the most polite people I have ever encountered for hotel/cabins. The cabins are cute and the property is beautiful. My only issue is it didn't feel like the sheets were clean but I am not 100 % sure. My daughter's bunk smelled bad. However, the cabin was quaint, it kept heat well (we stayed in winter and it was cold nights) and honestly other than the sheets/smell it was a good experience.
- wendy (8/5): Reccomend affordable location - Had everything we required including laundry facilities .close to all we wanted to do
- Brady (6/5): - Was alright. Forgot to leave us a key the first night had to rent a hotel. But discounted the second night for the misunderstanding. Was clean and the workers were friendly
- Meredith (10/5): Clean and Well Equipped next to Dollywood - Great location and good price. The cabins were clean and really well equipped. We checked in late and there was no issue and keys were left out for us. Very friendly staff.
- happy (8/5): It's clean. - It was very clean. Hot water showers. It was quiet and the scenery around the cabin was beautiful. We only slept and showered there so it suited our needs. We were one mile from all the attractions. The staff was friendly. We'll be staying again.
- mark (8/5): - Enjoyed stay everything we needed was their .Clean cabin. If you have back or hip problems the beds are like camping very uncomfortable.Every thing else was great would stay again probably bring some foam for bed .
- CHRISTOPHER (8/5): - There was one cleanliness issue that had to be addressed upon our arrival, but the staff addressed this immediately upon being made aware of the problem. My son and I were in Pigeon Forge for baseball at the Ripken Experience. It is very convenient to these fields. Price was great as well. Ideal, if you are only going to Pigeon Forge and need a place to sleep on a tight budget.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great - All good
- Roger (10/5): Great Stay - Great place. Clean and quiet. Nice location.
- Mel (6/5): Quiet location - Mattresses had deep groves from use. You felt like you fell down a hill. It would have been nice to have a toaster especially since we were charged $5.00/day for some "Resort Fee" when it is not a resort. I liked the dog park. Staff was very friendly & accommodating.
- Lidia (10/5): Great Cabin! - Cutest little cabin with all everything you may need! We were extremely close to everything, we will definitely be staying here again.
- Christina (10/5): Great trip for just me and the husband - We will not stay any place else. This was our first time there and I'm already booking another trip to bring the kids back in 2 weeks!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great for the price - We had four nights at our cabin, and it was in a lovely apot, private but close to everything. Clean, new interiors and well-insulated. Very friendly check in but we really didn't see any other service for the rest of the time that we were there. We had to go in search of fresh towels. We had one of the two heater units that did not work, but it was not so cold that it created problems for us. The grounds were well kept, there was a cute little dog park, and we felt very private. Firewood was provided for us which was a nice amenity. There was a stove top but no oven, a nice little refrigerator, microwave, and tiny little coffee pot. The mattresses were not the most comfortable, and really my only complaint was that they definitely should invest in an upgrade. We would definitely consider staying here again, and it was a good bargain.
- Thomas (10/5): Amazing place to stay - It was wonderful we enjoyed every minute will definitely stay there again
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Location, Would Stay Again, Recomended, But.. - Everything was really good in our Cabin but the Hot Water when taking a shower lasts about 7 minutes and the takes about 4+ hours to warm up to just over room temperature. Went to office the next day and they had a Maintenance man come out nearly immediately. Still the hot water doesn't last long enough for 2 adult showers. The facilities were very nice and they keep it clean. Then came the SHOCK - they too 50% of the money before we arrived when we selected to pay on arrival at Hotels.com, when we went to the office the next morning they had charged us MORE for our stay even after they had taken 50% of the money before we arrived and claimed it was an added fee from Hotels.com after we had already got the full priced amount from Hotels.com. This was not appreciated at all !!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome living - Great place and close to gatlinburg and pegion forge
- Steven (10/5): Clean, comfortable, hospitable and nice. - Me and my friend wanted a last second trip and decided to come here. I was able to book the weekend late Friday before they closed and they allowed late check-in; it was very easy and they were very helpful when I called to ensure I could do a late check-in. We arrived around 1 a.m. and had no problems finding the cabin. It was very clean and quaint. The bedding was fair. I think an extra blanket would of been nice in winter. I brought my own pillows and I suspect a lot of travelers do that also, but the pillows here were acceptable. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen area works well with the limited space. If you can, cook and eat outside ;) The location is great and it is easy to get around from here. Our main attraction was the mountains and rivers. We ate breakfast at Paula Deans on the Island and it was a fantastic meal. I hope you enjoy your stay here if you come for a visit. We hope to stay here again over the summer and know we will need to reserve a cabin many months in advance.
- rachel (10/5): excellent place-very clean! - My family and I really enjoyed our weekend at Bear Cove Village. I will absolutely be booking there again!
- jess (10/5): It's a very nice and quit place to stay - It's a very nice place to stay and I'll be coming back on my next trip
- Verified traveler (10/5): Small affordable cabin close to attractions - We loved our stay here. It is hard to find a place to stay when you vacation with a Labrador and a Great Dane. This place allowed us to bring our pets with a reasonable fee. The rates are quite affordable. The cabin was absolutely adorable! All the places we wanted to eat or go were nearby. This place is conveniently located to the Parkway and just down the street from Dollywood. Will definitely stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Just a great place to stay. - Great place off the main drag. Did not have to climb several floors of stairs. Dark at night. Have BBQ's and Fire pits.
- Todd (10/5): Great place! - These tiny homes are amazing. They are comfy & are a lot of fun!
- Scottie (10/5): - Excellent stay. Employees were very friendly and helpful, very nice place
- Eli (8/5): Great cozy cabin - If you are ready foe another type of staying, this is the option. Comfortable and has the basics. No closets so leave all your clothes in your luggage. Near Old Mill and well located. Cabin is part of a RV park. Overall experience was very good but for the same amount of money you can find a Hotel with more space. Great one time
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Convenient location to National Park, Dining, and shopping. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Tiny house accommodation - We rented a cabin which slept up to 5, thankfully our oldest decided not to come there would have not been enough room for her. It was like a version of Tiny house nation that wasn't thought out enough. There was not enough storage for our belongings especially after you come back with souvenirs. The location was perfect and beautiful but the accommodations could have been better. It probably would have been better for two people. The is no table to eat at when you do cook which the kids were fine with but for adults it becomes not so good.
- Kevin (10/5): - Very clean cabin. Rv park was nicely maintained. Very friendly family operated park. Just minutes away from main shopping and dining. Definitely will start staying here.
- Terry (10/5): Relax with the bear - Great staff, location, and accommodations.
- tiffani (8/5): tiny cabin living - Short stay to see family. Loved the tiny cabin. Very quaint
- Liane (10/5): Birthday Getaway! - We came to celebrate my birthday and at first I was concerned about the size of the cabin... But it exceeded all expectations. I never sleep well on vacations but I wanted to take the mattress home with me! It was so comfortable! My children loved the cabin. We are definitely coming back.
- Todd (10/5): Awesome Experience! - We absolutely loved the cabins! They have everything you would expect to find in a nice hotel, without having to be stuck around a bunch of people. The staff was awesome and we had a great time. We will definitely be returning.
- Nathan (10/5): Rod run 2015 stay - Everything was great. Comfy beds and just enought room. Only complaint is the water pressure. Its very very low.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to stay! - We loved our cabin! Clean, friendly staff and perfect location. We're already planning our next stay! We ended up having 5 adults and 2 kids in the small cabin. We probably should have gotten the bigger cabin, but it was good for just a 2 night stay!
- Sallie (8/5): Comfy little cabin. - My husband, daughter and I had a great stay. Two swimming pools and a playground. Very clean and cabin seemed new. It is snug, but met our needs. All around good experience!
- Carl (8/5): Fantastic no frill bargain - The small cabins at Bear Cove Village are not for everyone. The cabins are actually specialized mobile homes. They are very tiny, but most every bit of space is maximized. Our family of five was cramped during day to day activities but sleeping at night was no problem. Next time, we will opt for the larger cabin that sleeps 8.
The cabins are at the upper edge of what is mostly an RV park. There are two swimming pools, as well as a playground, laundry facilities, hiking trails, and even a small dog park. This is just a short driving distance from most of the local tourist attractions and one mile from Dollywood. We heard very little of the traffic from where we were located.
The cabins are clean and tidy. Ours was not well stocked with necessities like toilet paper. And travelers should plan on bringing their own soap and shampoo or plan on paying for it on site. And you might as well bring your own linens. We thought that the "small fee" for towels and blankets was one time not a daily fee.
I was impressed with the wifi available. There were no complicate logging in or passwords required. And the signal and speed were far better than we have received in other hotels. We got a great value for the price we paid and would definitely stay again.
- Leminda (8/5): Loved the little cabin! - The cabin was new, clean and perfect for what we needed it for. Brought one of our grandchildren to Dollywood and it was less than 3 min. away, easy access.
