• 983chrissiew (2/5): Business Receipt Nonsense! - Terrible experience trying to get a receipt for Valet parking. The original receipt when I checked out had a $0 balance. 2 weeks later a $30 charge was on my corporate card for a guest visiting me for 2.5 hours. 4 phone calls and on hold for 20 plus minutes they struggled to email me a receipt after giving them 2 different email address (have your IT department look into this) and the manager was never available. The right thing Hyatt should've done is refund the charge - only if they want to be known for best customer service. Also, replace your bed pillows, too flat!

Two specific staff members: SILVA & ED went above and beyond to make sure we were always taken care of. Silva always prepared a table for our large group every morning, remembered our orders and made our day with her amazing service. She deserves ALL the credit! Next is the hotel manager ED, we had a small hiccup upon check in, ED make sure to take matters into his own hands and rectify the situation. Because of these two employees hardwork, a group of 13 guests were able to have a seamless and enjoyable stay. Thank you Silva & Ed!

No use ni llegue a ver las intalaciones tipo piscina porque no era epoca y tuve escaso tiempo. Tiene una alegre area social en el ingreso con una barra grande y una tv gigante donde la gente se reune a tomar tragos y conversar. El desayuno fue bueno. No hubo nada en particular que no me gustara del hotel. Pero la ciudad es una ciudad administrativa, casi no ves gente caminando por la calle. Una ciudad muy difernte a lo conocido.
• FelixDenton (4/5): Need a bug expert - We checked into the hotel on Thursday 4/16, slept ok until 4 or 5 am when the sunlight came through the room curtains. I got up and stepped on the couch to adjust the drapes upper corner then went back to sleep. Around 7:30am, I was awoken from itching on my right foot and both legs. Started to see a few bumps, and then noticed two spots on the right side of my neck as well. Thought they were possibly flea bites, bed bugs, or dust mites. We checked the mattress, saw a spot with black stain on it, and a light brown stain on the cover that I thought was some make up. Didn’t see any bugs, shedding, nor eggs. I went and informed the front desk and she gave us a new room. After we switched room, I noticed two more spots on the left side of my neck and one below the hairline in the back of the neck. We went about our day for the rest of the day. By the time we got back to the hotel, my right foot and ankle had a few more lesions popped up. The second room was fine, slept in new clothes. I also inspected my own carry on bag to make sure that it was clean and it was! Last travel was in February and had no issue. I had kept the worn PJ from the first room in a separate plastic bag. We checked out Saturday and by the time we got back to Dallas, more lesions had appeared on the left foot and ankle, left arm, and right upper leg. I checked the CDC and other websites, all mentioned linear or cluster rashes, about 1-2cm per spot, and the rash can appear after the bites between 1-3 days (or more). Mine progressed as they described, with redness, intense itching, along with a small nodular raised blister in the center. I have about 27 spots for the 3 days total, with most of them in the lower extremities. Currently I am having to use a steroid cream to control the inflammation and itching. There is no doubt in my mind now that this is bed bugs! I reached out to Hyatt customer service and they connected me back to the hotel. I was told that my case would be referred to a manager. Still waiting for management to call. In the meantime, I do hope they take my complaint seriously and block out room #727 until it’s cleared by pest control. We didn’t checked the sofa, and didn’t lift up the mattress or anything. Overall, the room appeared well kept and the staff (housekeeping, front desk, valet) were nice. The hotel is upscale and locates in a central location. Will see how management address this issue.

• MaximusTX2014 (2/5): Great Hotel, Completely Undermined by Parking Experience - The hotel itself and its staff are excellent—exactly what you would expect from a Hyatt property. Unfortunately, the parking operation is a complete contradiction to that standard. The valet and parking attendants are consistently rude, unprofessional, and unnecessarily confrontational. Simply trying to get picked up in front of the hotel turns into an argument. Instead of a smooth guest experience, you’re forced to either deal with attitude or walk out to the street and navigate active traffic just to avoid the hassle. What’s even more frustrating is the hotel’s response. When this issue is raised, management deflects responsibility by saying the parking company is a third party. That may be true contractually, but from a guest perspective, they are representing the Hyatt experience—whether the hotel acknowledges it or not. This disconnect between the hotel’s quality and the parking experience is significant and needs to be addressed. It’s disappointing to see such a well-run property allow an outsourced service to damage its reputation.

I pulled in just to check in and unload my luggage and they charged me $50 for valet even though I self parked in the garage for $27 which I explained to them and provided a receipt. They still charged me and refused to give me a full refund. That is unacceptable.

They have very nice staff, EV charging station, and a great restaurant, bar, and breakfast place. On top of these, the staffs here are alway very nice and helpful. We will be back again.
• 367brittg (10/5): Comfortable Stay with Friendly Staff - I had a really good stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and a good size. At first, we weren’t sure about the bed size, but once we actually slept in it, it turned out to be more spacious and comfortable than we expected. One thing I really appreciated was how comfortable and safe the room felt. The layout and overall environment made it feel like a place I could easily stay in by myself without feeling uneasy, which is important when traveling. The location is also very convenient. It’s about 10–15 minutes from most places, and the Galleria Mall is right nearby, which makes getting around very easy. The noise level was great as well; it was quiet and relaxing. The staff really stood out during my stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and personable. Even when I called a few times with questions, they were always helpful and patient. By the end of the stay, they made the experience feel very warm and welcoming. I only tried one food item from the hotel, and while it was slightly over-seasoned for my taste, it was still good and, honestly, better than what we had outside the hotel. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay with great service and a convenient location. I would definitely stay here again.

• Missy (1/5): It was awful. - Not much. The front desk staff was extremely rude, and the manager Aman was not helpful at all in resolving the situation or assisting with finding another hotel. First off, the hotel overbooked and left half my coworkers with no rooms. The hotel claimed that booking.com had cancelled their rooms on 2/24 at 2AM but booking.com was called at the time that we were attempting to check in and told the manager that they did not cancel the rooms. I have not been refunded by booking.com nor did I get 5 of 7 rooms that I reserved and paid for. I have received no credits, and the hotel staff was insistent that booking.com canceled but I watched someone else take my rooms. Arman had the keys for all of us in his hand and the other girl working the front desk took the other rooms from him and gave them to another guest. So, we had to scramble to find rooms for 2 of our coworkers and all the hotels in Houston were booked. I will never book with Hyatt or Booking.com ever again. The Hyatt staff was so very rude and hateful about the whole situation, and it had nothing to do with us. I am making complaints with Booking.com, the BBB, and I have even called the Mayor of Houston to complain about Hyatt and not to recommend them to people coming to visit. I am writing very nasty reviews. I can not believe that Hyatt would cancel our rooms at the last minute when we booked the rooms a month in advance. There was no notification from Booking.com nor Hyatt that the rooms were cancelled. Hyatt and Booking.com stole money from me.

Its location in the heart of the Galleria area provides convenient walking access to the mall and a wide variety of nearby restaurants. While the property can become quite busy during peak seasons, the team made every effort to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all of my guests.

• jasonbO7173MI (6/5): Galleria Area Hotel - Located near the Galleria Mall. Plenty of restaurants near the area. The hotel can be loud on the weekend with club goers and event attendees staying at the hotel. Overall a nice hotel.
• MarkR539 (6/5): Decent hotel in Galleria area - A decent hotel that is handy for Galleria area. Housekeeping was disappointing, with soap/shampoo not being replaced despite being requested twice. Breakfast process was convoluted - although breakfast was included in my room rate, I had to go to reception each morning to request a voucher, rather than this simply being noted at the restaurant.

• Passport751170 (10/5): Highly Recommend! - Excellence in every way, from the location to the valet to the front desk customer service to the meeting rooms & professional sales team to the rooms with super comfortable beds and fantastic shower pressure and overall cleanliness plus the outstanding food. The customer service is unparalleled excellence. This hotel cares about their guests and it shows in every way. Highly recommended!
• Angela (10/5): An amazing stay with wonderful staff to help me out on my solo business trip. - The room was gorgeous, and the staff were all so friendly. I especially appreciated the valet guys, as they always opened the door for me when I was carrying around a handful of business paperwork. The TV casting wasn't as straight forward as I would have hoped. I had to get an engineer to come into my hotel room to guide me through it.

We were super impressed by the rooms and the staff. Everyone seemed to go above and beyond and we will definitely be coming back.
