Guest Reviews
- Baltazar (10/5): -
- Tanya (10/5): Nicely Remodeled - Everything was clean and new feeling in the room.
- Alison (10/5): - Lovely and modern, exceptionally clean and everything worked. Staff were wonderful too. Not one thing I'm pleased to say.
- Janice (8/5): A beautiful room but not as comfortable as I would have liked - The room was very pretty and the location is good The bed was not super comfortable and the sheets felt a little rough. There was no place to put your clothes other than in your suitcase and while that wasn’t a huge deal since I was only staying one night there was also no hangers to hang your clothes on only metal hooks
- Collins (8/5): -
- Melissa Syverson (6/5): Great except the smell - Great price, lovely decor, excellent shower, liked the flexibility of late check in and quick, easy check out. While the room was lovely and appeared to be clean, there was a terrible smell, like spoiled food. I sent a message about it, but despite frequent contact previously, I got no response.
- Amy (8/5): - Location very close to downtown, restaurants. Classy decor. Good price. It was different not having anyone at check-in, just our name on an envelope with the keys inside. Anyone could have taken the keys and our room. Fortunately a very safe community.

- Kathryn (7/5): It was clean but without the great deal, it would not have been worth $260 per night. - I liked the cost per night, the cleanliness and modern feel of the room. The heater was very noisy so we turned it off and were cold but it was better than the noise. The staff was pretty unaccessible.
- Eryn (4/5): - Comfy room in a great location Key cards took 4-5 times to open the door. We had 2 workers just walk in our room like 20 minutes after checking in. It was the same worker that checked me in so not really sure how it happened. They didn’t knock or anything. I had someone else try to open the door a second time like 20 minutes later. I had to call the facility and make sure we were in the right room. Walls are VERY thin, we could hear all of our neighbors conversations. The room looked clean but It didn’t feel clean. A couple hairs found on the sheets. Was very disappointed compared to the last time we stayed.

- Drew (9/5): I would stay again and recommend to others. The ice cream truck in the parking lot was a bonus. - High quality materials, appeared to be a recent remodel. Very well done. There was a smell. Needed an air freshener. While the chair was of high quality, it was too low for me to comfortably use it at the workstation/desk.
- Eileen (10/5): Very nice staff very accommodating 👍👍👍 - The whole experience was very good
- Kevin (8/5): - The room was super comfortable and clean. Great set up, we really enjoyed the design of the furniture and room layout. Being super close to downtown made it very convenient. Check-in and out was super smooth. The ONLY thing that was a little lack luster was the water pressure in the shower. The height of the shower head was also on the short side. But it still was sufficient enough to use

- Raisanen (10/5): Great experience! - Cozy and comfortable beds No complaints

- Wayne (9/5): - Awesome rooms, great shower and bathroom

- Joel (10/5): - The location was great, room was super clean, staff very friendly
- Kandis (9/5): - Bree was wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful in finding a place to eat and places to visit. Nothing.
- Donna (6/5): Nice but wished we had booked st s different place.out fault for not researching the breakfast and parking lot situation - Room was comfortable For us personally, we didn’t love the gravel parking lot, no elevator, no Kleenex in the room, no breakfast , there was a fresh paint smell that gave me a headache, and the air conditioner blew directly on me during sleep.
- Kinnear (8/5): -
- manuel (9/5): -
- Sandra (8/5): - Cute refurbished room. Very clean. The security specifically door lock was sketchy. No extra amenities like breakfast or bike rentals.
- Daniel (10/5): -

- Jeff (7/5): Good - It was nicer than when it was the woodsman and rustic inn...surprised by the renovation. The parking lot
- William (8/5): Very good -
- Joanna (8/5): Great location, crisp, clean decor. - Location is excellent for enjoying local ski areas. Decor is simple, modern and easy to keep clean. Very comfortable beds. No microwave in room. We are travellers who prefer to prepare our own meals and a small microwave would have made a big difference.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shelby (9/5): Great and comfortable stay! - It was clean, the staff was super friendly, and it was in a great location. It would’ve been great to have had a microwave in our room, our door seemed to be loose on the seal, and the battery in the tv remote was going dead.
- Mickey (5/5): Passable - I couldn't get into my room and it was late. I had to call the emergency line to get a key.
- Rudolf (9/5): Superb -
- Jodee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Armand (5/5): Passable -
- Charlotte (10/5): incredibly good time, cozy room - clean cozy rooms exorbitant prices, lack of “kitchen” supplies, ie no microwave
- Clint (7/5): Good - clean room. Entry door bad fit. could see outside light inside. No dead bolt lock.didn’t feel the safest.
- Marley (8/5): Very good - The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The pictures made the place look a lot larger than it actually is in person. There weren't any plugins next to the bed for my phone on my side. We also had trouble getting the wifi and TV to work.
- Addie (4/5): Despite it being a reasonable price I probably wouldn’t stay here again. - Seemed to be newly renovated. Shower pressure was horrible. Pubic hair on the bathroom floor, dirty shower, electric plug near the coffee machine and fridge didn’t work.
- Tami (9/5): Great - I'll always check for availability at the Nordic Inn first - I love the nordic inn! It's frustrating that it costs $200 to stay one night. I understand this is the going rate but the rates have continually gone up and it has priced me out of visiting many times. I love that the room was so clean but the smell of cleaning products was very strong - I opened the windows and left for 30 minutes to air the room out
- Lovatos (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean and cozy The building is black which I thought would look better in forest dark green with brick red doors. Just an
opinion.no offense.
- Guy (5/5): Overpriced. - What breakfast? Microwave needed, refer up off the floor, soap and shampoo for bathroom. There was scalding hot water in middle of shower which is very dangerous.
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (4/5): Room was mostly clean, bed was alright, but the room smelled like smoke, not able to get TV service. - None Room smelled like smoke.
- Jenna (9/5): Superb - They left the keys for us because we were very late. There was no on-site staff when we arrived.
- Ericson (7/5): Good -
- Kitty (7/5): It fit our purpose of a clean and comfortable place to stay one night. - The room itself was freshly decorated modern and comfortable. King bed was fine.
The motel style drive up to individual room with the manager in a single room rather than a Lobby didn’t feel as secure as entering a hotel with a front desk and Lobby. The manager is only on sight until 19:00pm. That said the room was quiet and all went well.
The parking lot could use paving and landscaping. Maybe this is still to come. The parking lot needs a bit of sprucing up!
- Bryan (10/5): Exceptional - So bright, clean, comfy beds, and quiet
- Tammy (9/5): Superb -
- Katherine (10/5): Highly recommend - Clean and convenient
- Charles (7/5): Good - Loved the location & remodeled facility
- Maricarmen (10/5): Exceptional - Wasn’t aware of the breakfast. Everything was well.
- Halpert (7/5): Nicely appointed room which was comfortable, but a few updates to communication would be great! - Nice clean rooms If you send scheduled texts, please be prepared to answer questions sent. My question was never answered. Also called twice one day in regards to the property and could never get a response.
- Tyel (9/5): Over all the stay was nice and the location was great! - Clean updated rooms. Comfortable bed and nice staff The parking lot was in need of help.
- Sarah (1/5): Bad - Terrible Bad customer service. Poor hygiene
- Carolyn (8/5): Very good -
- Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional - Staff went above and beyond to make our stay spectacular. We will never look for another place to stay when traveling to McCall.
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very friendly. The room was very comfortable and quiet, I would definitely stay there again. There was nothing I didn’t like.
- Craig (8/5): Very good - The room was clean and nicely decorated WiFi was slow which made the tv unusable. The shower has very low water pressure
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (7/5): Good - updated rooms loud AC units
- Sandra (10/5): First time to McCall. More visits in the future and we’ll be staying at Nordic again. Thank you. - Loved the price and value. Kelly was very helpful. Location was great. The electrical box over the bathroom sink is an accident and law suit waiting to happen. Not the smartest thing I’ve seen.
- Kristine (4/5): Very disappointing because of the noisy fan. - Clean room, comfortable bed. The unit for cooling and heating. One level for the fan which was noisy and never shut off even when it reached the set temperature. Very unhappy. Staff did call maintenance but evidently nothing could be done. “All units in this hotel are the same so switching rooms was not an option.”
- Gregory (7/5): Good -
- Chad (9/5): Superb -
- Eryn (9/5): Superb -
- Debra (9/5): Superb -
- Brian (8/5): Very good -
- Manuel (7/5): Very pleasant. Clean and comfortable. Just 200 feet from the action. -
- Linville (10/5): Exceptional -
- Suzan (8/5): Lovely people great rooms outside was horrific - Very nice . The outside
- Joseph (8/5): Very good - Easy to find. Adequate parking located in the lot on site. The bed was very comfortable; we both slept well and woke up rested. From inside the room, we could hear everything going on outside (ie. crunching snow by people walking or driving in the parking lot, people speaking in a normal volume).
- Teri (5/5): For $220/night I expected more than what we got. $140 seems more fair. - The Nordic Inn is the old Woodsman Motel from days gone by. It has a great location. The outside looks nice. The room was super clean. The parking lot was messy. With an open lot next to it, it would have been nice if they had plowed it for more parking. The beds were way too soft. No clock or tissues and shower head was a great height if you are 5' or under. Hot water was a hit or miss depending on who else in the hotel was showering. FYI... I donated a lot of hair to my comb as there was no conditioner. Just shampoo. Large gap under the door. And there is a very heavy room fragrance that permeates your sinuses. I'm sure it will leave mine in a few months. LOL
But seriously, it wasn't terrible by any means for an overnight stay, but I would have a hard time staying multiple nights.
- Andrew (10/5): Quick overnight comfortable stay. - Quick stay. There was no breakfast. Rooms were nice and the bed was comfortable. Had trouble with the TV. WI fi wasn't strong enough to stream, and satellite wouldn't work. Knowing this now, I would have asked before management left.
- Mckaebri (10/5): The Nordic Inn helped make our ski trip comfortable and abordando - We loved the simplicity of the room. The minimalistic design made the room feel bigger. The location in town was convenient. There was nothing negative about this property
- Philip (9/5): Superb -
- Walter (9/5): Superb - Very nice room, tastefully furnished and decorated. Very clean, comfy beds and plenty of pillows. No ice machine, had to go out to qwik stop for bag of ice. I was able to keep some stored in really small freezer section of room fridge. They need to install grab bar in bathtub as factory mounting holes are present. There was plenty of hot water.
- Jerald (9/5): Superb -
- Rhonda (8/5): Very good -
- Samanthajh (9/5): Great value! Friendly staff. - Great value! Convenient location.
- Lisa (8/5): It was perfect for the money and for a short stay. - The updates to the room are very nice and the bed was comfortable. You could hear cars on the road, but we are pretty sensitive to that since we live in a rural quiet place.
