• Roving25634907072 (2/5): Ownership has a serious problem - My wife and I spent one night at this hotel. The first room had dirt splattered on the wall, light fixtures had rust on the metal, mildewed caulk around the tub. Staff, graciously offered another room. The second room had the same rust on lamps, only one light fixture in the bathroom worked, bathroom outlets did not work, refrigerator was barely cool with no option to set the refrigerator temp to a lower degree. Staff was extremely apologetic and understanding. This appears to be an ownership unwilling to refurbish their hotel which does not deserve the Hampton Inn franchise. Guests should request their 100% guarantee. They may then understand the need for serious upgrades.

• mpfagan67 (2/5): If you’re traveling to Bainbridge, Georgia - stay somewhere else. - Avoid this hotel. I’ve stayed here twice for business (Dec 2025 and March 2026), hoping the first experience was an exception. It wasn’t. The property is consistently dirty, poorly managed, and clearly neglected. Rooms not cleaned. Towels removed and not replaced. Dirty carpets. Doors left open. A green pool that has been that way for months. Common areas that look like they haven’t been properly maintained in a long time. I reported these issues to Hilton after my first stay and was told the hotel would follow up—no one ever did. The staff on site seem to be trying, but this is a failure at the ownership/management level. This property should not be operating under the Hampton Inn brand in its current condition. If you’re traveling to Bainbridge, stay somewhere else.
• Monique (1/5): I will not stay here again very dirty and neglected. - The location of how close it was to our softball tournament Let me start with check the front desk was very nice but once we got up to our room the door was open being held open by the lock. Went in and the toilet lid was up like it had been used by a man. The toilet paper holder was broken and they had shoved a roll on it mind you it was an almost empty roll. One of the “clean” hand towels had hair on it very visible. Curtains were broken so you couldn’t close the black out ones. While showering the light goes off so you had to have someone keep coming in because it’s a motion activated. I went down stairs back to front desk to let him know the door was propped open. He ask like wide open or just held open with the lock. Said oh yeah we do that so we can go behind house keeping to make sure they clean the room. I said well then there is no way anybody went and check since it was still propped open. He reassured me that it was clean I told him about the other things and all he said was I’m sorry about that. Didn’t have much of a choice it to stay due to how late it was. Wasn’t offered anything I’ve never had a problem with Hilton owned hotels but this one definitely needs some attention and updates

• Whitney (4/5): Not going back. - The location was great!! It was easy to find, the hotel itself was clean and the parking area was clean and well lit. The room and bathroom were clean. The room I was given had several issues. The floor, desk and night stand were sticky. The TV didn't work even after unplugging it and plugging it back in. The smoke detector was missing from the wall and there were wires hanging out where it used to be plugged in, there wasn't a microwave in the room, the clock was missing from the nightstand and a cord was left plugged in where it used to be, when I turned the sink on, water ran onto the floor from a leaking pipe underneath the counter top, there was a wheel missing off of the ottoman and the security latch on the door was broken/missing.

Fixtures have rusted and my complaint on room condition was ignored. I would not recommend. Hilton is does not pay much attention to hotels in small towns.

The luggage carts need to be totally replaced! There were only three, and they were broken and barely usable. Very unusual for a Hilton property! We are Hilton owners of a timeshare and we know Hilton quality! We always stay at Hampton Inns because of this!
• GoPlaces22720257300 (2/5): Overpriced dirty, moldy, old, outdated room. Just keep driving!!! - If the Holiday Inn is booked up just drive a little further and find a different hotel. This hotel is old, dirty, run down and way overpriced. It is also a safety hazard. My smoke detector was torn off the wall and bare wires left sticking out of the wall. The shelf had fallen off the bathroom wall. The shower was moldy and not clean. It looks like the ceiling had leaked at some point and half the ceiling was painted to hide it. Lamps were covered in rust as were the rails in the closet. The pool was green and moldy and has been out of service for a long time. The final insult is this room was $200 a night. Keep driving!!!!
• jstottjr (2/5): LIFETIME DIAMOND… To say “DO NOT STAY HERE” Is an understatement! - I am a Hilton LIFETIME DIAMOND and to say “DON’T STAY AT THIS PROPERTY” would be putting it lightly! Not only is the property unkept and in ill repair, the management, all the way up to the General Manager, Sydney, doesn’t care! (THEY HAVE OVER 120 GOOGLE “1 STAR” REVIEWS) I have stayed with Hilton properties for over 22 years and have never had an experience even close to my stay last night! Upon opening the door to my 3rd floor room shortly after 7 pm, my very first thought was, “this place is NASTY!” My eyes were drawn to the window across the room. Both the curtains and the shears were open and, because of the nearby parking lot light, the absolute filth of the window was almost overwhelming! If they aren’t going to clean the windows, at least keep the shears closed so the guest doesn’t notice. Here is a list of other things noted at this property: * Light over the bathroom mirror didn’t work… How can housekeeping clean the bathroom or even just the mirror and not notice that the light doesn’t work? * No Shampoo in the container in the shower * Pool towels in the bathroom instead of bath towel * Long black hairs in the sink. It wasn’t mine. I have very short gray hair. * Gooey spots on counter, like little spots of toothpaste * Soap/Toothpaste spots on mirror * The door to my room, 315, had a 2nd hole for a door handle drilled all the way through the door that they had filled with wood putty and never stained it * The Sheetrock tape all the way around the door was peeled up and loose from the wall itself * Inside door of the elevator had a very wide stripe of adhesive across the door horizontally where they had a Hampton banner ad in the past and never cleaned the elevator door. Get some “Goof Off” and clean the door! (see picture) * No breakfast… Breakfast is from 6 am to 10 am. I came down at 8:15 and the wasn’t any breakfast, nor had there been. The pans were completely clean and washed. When I inquired about it, I was told that they had they fired the lady who does breakfast and didn’t have anyone to do it now. I then asked why the manager or GM wasn’t filling in to ensure the guests were getting what they paid for. i was told, “She doesn’t come in until 9:00.0 (see picture of empty pan) * The curbs of the parking lot are littered with days worth of cigarette butts and no one tidying the parking lot. Prior to leaving, I stopped at the front desk to discuss my stay. The only person at the desk was a lady from housekeeping. So, I took the opportunity to voice my “cleanliness concerns”. She turned, walked away, and came back with the cleaning schedule and said, “I didn’t clean your room yesterday!” I then asked to speak with the GM and was again advised that she wouldn’t be in until 9 am. I left the property and went to work. At around 9:15 am I returned to the property to discuss my stay with Sydney, the General Manager. Josh, the front desk agent, told me that she was on the phone and he was unsure how long she would be. I waited about 15 minutes before speaking with Josh regarding my concerns. While doing so, another guest came to the desk and overheard our discussion. She politely interrupted and said, “I just want to check out and SUPPORT HIS CONCERNS!” She went on to say that her room was so nasty that she was checking out without taking a shower. Josh very rudely refused to refund either the lady’s stay or mine. When Sydney finally came to the front desk, I explained my concerns and asked for the Hampton Inn 100% Satisfaction Guarantee for a refund of the charges for that night. Sydney proceeded to tell me that she wasn’t going to refund my charges because I had stayed the night and didn’t leave. I told Sydney that is what the guarantee is for. She literally argued with me for about 10 minutes, even telling me to call the Diamond Desk to tell them my concerns. I told Sydney that’s exactly what I was going to do AFTER SHE REFUNDED MY CHARGES! After much discussion, Sydney finally issued a refund to my card for my stay. (THEY HAVE OVER 120 “1 STAR” REVIEWS) DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY! THEY ARE NOT UP TO HILTON STANDARDS AND OBVIOUSLY DO NOT CARE!

Windows are dirty and moldy, A/C Filter duty, had to clean it. Shower moldy around bottom. No Smoke detector, just wires, lamp on wall full of rust. Microwave doesn’t work. Refrigerator dirty on the outside. Very Disappointed. Won’t stay again.

• Trynni (1/5): See above - I did not eat the breakfast. I requested an early check-in but did not receive a response from your organization. I arrived at 4:46 PM and was assisted at the front desk by staff members. During the check-in process, I confirmed that my room would be located in the middle of the hall as requested. However, upon reaching my assigned room (329), I discovered it was at the end of the hall near the stairs, and the room had not been cleaned. I documented this with photographs to share with the front desk team. While discussing these concerns with staff, I expressed urgency due to a scheduled event and requested immediate access to a clean room (see photos below). Initially, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked, despite observing multiple available keys. After further discussion, I was provided room 122. This room was of a different type than the accommodations I reserved months prior. I inspected the new room for suitability and returned to inquire about any adjustment in pricing. I was informed that the difference between a King Suite and a Two Queen room was only $10.00. However, when I requested a printed statement of charges, I was told such documentation could only be provided at check-out. Upon request, a screenshot of the charges was allowed. I would like for this establishment to know that I was a part of the "Good Morning America" crew that utilized this hotel in May of this year to honor a local teacher, Mrs Patricia Isom. I recommended this hotel to the crew from New York and I am very disappointed in how far your standard has declined in just a few short months.

• Cheryl (7/5): Great stay minus not having internet and minor maintenance issues - Location, price, friendliness of staff I didn’t have WiFi for 2 out of 3 nights and I was there for business purposes and had to use my phone hotspot. My door was VERY difficult to close (screws coming out of top hinge), smoke detector was missing and loose wires were hanging, and the toilet was extremely difficult to flush.

THE TV "ONLY" TURNED ON AND OFF, WE WERE NOT ABLE TO WATCH TV AT ALL!!! WHEN WALKING OUTSIDE TO OUR VEHICLE SEVERAL STRAY CATS APPEARED AS THEY WANTED TO ATTACK US EACH TIME WE LEFT AND RETURNED TO THE HOTEL. THE HOTEL ROOM PHONE DID NOT WORK.

Basically, fully acceptable given price point, etc. will stay here again as a 1-night pass through. Two complaints: 1. The dark window curtain didn’t cover the window!? There was a faux curtain across the full back wall, EXCEPT where the actual window was - which had only a thin white see through curtain. So it lacked privacy and had too much light in the morning. They need to fix that. 2. A smoke detector in room down the hall needed to be checked — heard it faintly chirp all night and into the AM.
• marthak948 (2/5): Horrible - Horrible accommodations. Certainly not what I expect from a property under the Hilton umbrella. 1. Light fixtures were corroded and rusted to the point where they had to be zip tied to keep them together. 2. Bedding linen smelled like a cross between dirty feet and onions. Absolutely gross. 3. Shower was partially cracked and moldy. If I wouldn’t have been so tired, and it was late, I would have left the property. I am absolutely astonished at the condition of this room.

Old, outdated furniture, extend a light on the wall, over the bed was held together by zip ties, Hilton/Paris would not be happy!! Noticed a room across from us that the door knob, etc, was missing and had not been replaced. To me, that's something that should have been fixed immediately as that is a loss of revenue. Would probably stay here again. Night clerk, young lady from Maryland originally was awesome.

Basic questions like would xyz room work for us ( we had a party of 15) she act as of she did want to help us. Alana on day shift WAS TOP TIRE. SHE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO US THAT WAS MESSED UP FROM CYNTHIA. SHE WORKED WITH US BECAUSE THE RATE WASNT CORRECT. 1 OF OUR ROOM GOT CHARGED 3 TIMES, AND THEY WANTED US TO PAY AGAIN. SHE HELPED US WITH EVERYTHING SHE WAS AWESOME. The rooms smells like mildew.

• 720adamd (4/5): Very Short of expectation - My recent stay at the Hampton Inn Bainbridge was regrettably disappointing. The room was so dimly lit that I was forced to use my cell phone flashlight to navigate. Adding to the frustration, our room keys failed to work consistently, even after being reprogrammed twice. The most significant issue arose around 2 AM when, after a six-hour drive from Charlotte, NC, we found ourselves locked out. With no staff at the front desk, my family waited outside for 45 minutes before my wife and I had to get redressed and go downstairs, only to find the front desk still empty for an additional two hours, with another staff member reportedly asleep in the back. While the day staff was wonderful and pleasant, the night staff's lack of availability and assistance was unacceptable. This experience has made me seriously reconsider staying there again; next time, I'll be looking at the Holiday Inn Express. Save yourself the time and money and find another place to stay – this was a complete waste of time and effort.

• Joanna (8/5): Delightful - I enjoyed our stay over all. The Associates are very Kind, and Helpful which made our stay pleasant. I wish the pool was open. Repairs need to be done. The Pool was dirty and Out of Service, One elevator was Out of Service, the Guest Laundry Room was Out of Service.
• Michael (6/5): - ur room - ice bucket and cups. We asked front desk for an ice bucket and her response was somewhat nonchalant. The pool and hot tub were closed for Maintenance which was not an issue at all. There were 2 elevators but only one was in service so things moved slowly.

• 839charlenet (4/5): Was ok. Priced to high for the offerings - The place was ok. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable but the property seems run down. Staff was short did not make you feel welcome. Had to change rooms 3x due to stuff not working. Was not all that clean either. Not much of a choice for the area however.
