- Michael (10/5): Schönes Zimmer mit Whirlpool - Freundliche Begrüßung mit vielen Infos und mit Landkarte der Insel. Schönes Zimmer mit Whirlpool. Falls jemand empfindlich bei Chlorgeruch ist sollte besser ein Zimmer mit Installation des Whirlpool außen nehmen.

- Jessica (10/5): Amazing host and beautiful hotel! - The owner is so sweet and helpful! You really almost feel like you're staying in someone's home and it was so nice. The hotel is a bit in the edge of society, but I really needed that after an intense europtrip I took, so this was perfect for me. It's 15 min walk from the bus which can take you into Fira or to the red sand beach (definitely worth a visit!) hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable

Host helped set up an atv reservation for the week and it helped so much. Things are walkable here, but with the hill, curves and lack of sidewalks, it makes it a bit difficult. Many restaurants and things to do in the area. All around amazing and would come back!
- Jose (10/5): Location and Ease made this Great - I'm so glad we chose to stay here! We were celebrating a birthday on Santorini island and opted to not stay in Oia or Fira due to high July crowds. We rented a car from the port (pre-arranged) and drove ourselves to the hotel with ease. Zafira greeted us upon arrival and took the time to go over a map with recommendations on how to spend our free time. This hotel is close to beaches, the light house, an ancient city, Pyrgos, Megalochori, and more. Very easy to discover the island from this location, and still close enough for our sunset cruise to pick us up directly. Breakfast had a nice variety, mostly breads, but enough protein (yogurt/honey, eggs, ham, sausages) to satisfy. The view from the breakfast area was beautiful. Our room was very large and had a dipping pool inside. I'm glad we were on the corner and no one ver walked past us like the other rooms. This is a great option for exploring Santorini and not fighting for parking at the end of the day. There was a gas station and a wonderful bakery just a few minutes away, on the main road, so very easy.

- Carol (10/5): Room with a View! - My daughter and I stayed at William’s Houses in early Sept. Zaphira at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was wonderful, with a private balcony overlooking the caldera. Being in Akrotiri was away from the action and bustle of Fira or Oia, but we enjoyed the quiet (and the view). When we needed to get to Fira, Zaphira arranged private transport for us, or you could ride the bus. Akrotiri village, with a convenience store and variety of restaurants, was only about a 10 min walk. Breakfast is included, and we enjoyed eating on the terrace of the hotel, taking in the view. Great place! I highly recommend!

- malcolm (10/5): - This place is beautiful and clean. It is very efficiently run by very friendly staff. We had a fabulous outside area which we really enjoyed. The views are breathtaking from the property. The breakfast was varied and delicious. We attended the local traditional dancing event which we really enjoyed and did the recommended boat trip from Red Beach to White and Black beaches- very good. Buses are regular from the village square. It is an 11 minute uphill ( mostly) from the square but it kept us fit. The village has a great shop, some lovely tavernas and a quiet charm. Buses to the main town of Fira took around 20 minutes.
- Derek (10/5): Williams Houses - Being a well traveled person across the globe - I don't say it lightly when I say this is one of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed in...I'm normally "cynical" about images hotels use to tempt you to book - but in this instance - the photo's don't do the views any justice - the room we had (room 6) had the most amazing views (both sea & landscapes) Staff are absolutely amazing - nothing is too much trouble for Zafira and her team 10/10 from me - I've stayed in some amazing places in the World - but this is one hotel I will definitely be returning to in the future

The breakfast was amazing every morning. Our room was perfect for the two of us with an amazing view and large patio. I highly recommend staying in Akrotiri vs Oia or Fira as it is not as busy and gives a more relaxing feel. Rent the quads and explore the beaches and the lighthouse. Best property we have stayed at!

- Thomas (10/5): Nice Hotel in Akrotiri - The hotel staff at William's Houses was friendly. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but that was the only negative about the hotel. The breakfast each morning was great and the view of the Caldera from the hot tub on the front veranda was spectacular. This is a very nice hotel for a couple's stay.

- alison (10/5): Wonderful little hotel. - Beautiful place with amazing views across the caldera. Lovely restaurant next door. They also provide a taxi service if you want to go out to eat and don't want to drive. Also take advantage of the transfer service to and from the hotel. I was collected from another hotel and then a quick trip to the airport for only 25 euro, yes you can get a cheaper transfer package, but I'd rather not spend an hour trundling round other hotels when i can get straight to the hotel.

- Olivia (10/5): Beautiful stay in the quiet Akrotiri - My husband and I LOVED our stay here. We got the junior suite and adored everything about it. Location is on the opposite side of the island from Oia (where all the google images are from) BUT you’re close to the lighthouse sunset that’s much less crowded and just as beautiful. I definitely recommend staying here. Rent an ATV while you’re at it.

For instance, they say we can use the pool to Galieni next door, but forget to tell you they charge 5€ per person. Their rental is expensive and they keep charging you if you need to leave the car at the port or airport. Real business: make more money as possible. Also, you are very far from the center, and the pictures are not respecting the reality. Be aware!

- Seyed Ali (10/5): Fantastic stay at Williams house - We had a fantastic stay at Williams house, the room was specious and clean, we had a very nice balcony viewing the caldera and sea. The bathroom was clean and specious, and kitchenette had enough appliances for our few days stay. The hotel management very nice, friendly and helpful, and provided us with good tips where to visit. The hotel is located on a quiet road, but I don’t recommend walking to and from bus stop in summer time as it is an a bit steeply road and could be quite warm we had a car and free parking in front of the hotel so no problem.

- Rose (10/5): - Williams Houses is a lovely family run property, in a quiet and beautiful part of Santorini. As a couple we specifically booked the 3 person split level room, which has the huge balcony overlooking the island, you can see the caldera and the south side of the island. Highly recommend this room. Some confusion first night as the room wasn't ready and they put us in a different one with no explanation why, but was sorted the next morning after I pointed out it wasn't what we booked. Breakfast could be a bit hit and miss for some, but it was fine enough for us and set us up for the day. Is the only place I'd want to stay if I ever go back to Santorini!

And the balcony is a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the view and breeze. Breakfast was a nice arrangement of different choices and most of all the family who host are so lovely! They assisted us with whatever we needed including helping us hire ATVs, make dinner reservations and booking taxis. The Akrotiri area is a beautiful alternative to the busy and expensive area of Oia. We truly enjoyed our stay at here!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent position with views over the Caldera. Zafira and her team are extremely friendly and helpful and the room was cleaned and towels changed daily . Breakfast in the room was made up to individual requirements and we ate on our room's balcony overlooking the Caldera - exceptional. Use of the small swimming pool owned by Zafira's family at the adjacent apartments was a bonus. It was appropriate to buy a drink at their bar but the pool, sun loungers and provided towels made it a very nice experience. Highly recommended.

- Cat (10/5): Amazing personalized experience - Jacuzzi A++ - My stay at William's Houses was one of my favourite hotel experiences, ever! From the check-in (which was amazingly friendly), to the room, to the jacuzzi, it was all such a dream. The jacuzzi is ESSENTIAL to having an amazing time in Santorini, because you can soak after a long day, or even have breakfast by the jacuzzi! Overall, I would 100% recommend staying here, with the addition of an ATV/car. ATVs are my preferred way to travel on an island, so that would definitely be essential!

They made us feel like family. The breakfast was nice as we ate it on our veranda overlooking the Aegean Sea. The hotel is truly special as the people who run it!!!! I will stay at this hotel when I return to Santorini. For the price, we paid the place & area to stay in Santorini. You do need a vehicle.

They bring you breakfast in the morning at the time you request. If we ever make it back to Santorini we would defiantly stay here again. The overall experience was amazing!
- David (10/5): Nice quiet location with friendly staff, good room - As soon as we arrived we felt very welcomed by the staff, who gave us an orange juice each and told us about some great things to do including a all day cruise with sunset in Oia. The housekeeping was great and did a really good job with cleaning and tidying our room each day, and giving us fresh towels. The breakfast was excellent and we always found a little something extra in addition to what we ordered, which made us feel special (e.g. some fresh fruit, some pastries etc). The Jaccuzi was good, and the location of the hotel from the beaches was fair. We had a car and it was only 15-20 minutes drive to the Black beach and to the red beach. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return.

We made arrangements to rent a car and the hotel staff set it up so that they would come directly to the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. We had an excellent stay here with our baby. - Verified traveler (10/5): Too short of a stay! - We had a wonderful stay and the 3 of us were very comfortable. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed very warmly and were given fresh orange juice. Our room had a spectacular view, and we received breakfast in our room both mornings very promptly. Our clerk went above and beyond even driving us to a spectacular restaurant so that we could watch a wonderful sunset. Also gave us a lift to the port. The only downside is this part of the island is a little quiet and not many stores close by. Was difficult to not have a vehicle and go to the beach. But when we worked around that it was great. Service is spectacular and hope to come back again!
- Kaylan (10/5): Amazing stay! - The staff and stay was absolutely wonderful! They brought complimentary breakfast to your door every morning, the rooms were spotless and the housekeeping was great. The staff was very sweet and helpful and were a great resource when it came to finding things to do. The location of this hotel isn't the best, but Santorini is a very small island so the main city is about a 15 minute bus ride for 2€. I would suggest renting a four wheeler, it's the best, and most fun way to get around the island. All in all, our stay was great thanks to this hotel, and I would go back again and again if I could!

- Verified traveler (10/5): One of the best places we've stayed - What a fantastic place - quiet yet easily accessible to the main areas of Thia and Oia. Facilities were great and with a little local restaurant across a private road, this was the surprise package of our holiday. The staff were amazing, nothing was too hard or too much - they were available always to give advice on where to go to eat and visit. Our room offered great views over the water for breakfast eating outside while a walk to the front of the hotel we could overlook the Caldera. Loved our time there.

- erika (8/5): Well situated hotel for easy access - Hotel has an excellent view overlooking the caldera bay. It was clean and comfortable and provides an easy access to the Red Beach and other secluded little beaches along the way, as well as the lighthouse. The room we stayed in (studio room with partial sea view) was very well planned out with bedroom upstairs and living area and kitchenette downstairs (for those who do fancy to show their cooking skills). The only drawback is that rooms aren't as soundproof as advertised. We could hear air con working outside and people next door having a shower.
