Guest Reviews
- Lori (10/5): Thank you! - Comfortable bed , clean I love tubs!
- Anna (10/5): - Most comfortable bed ive ever slept on, really love the interior design.
- Lori (10/5): Loved it! - Clean rooms ! Comfortable bed, clean linens and blankets. Conveniently located near, library, car wash, downtown not far, can walk there! Prompt staff, offered me new towels every day! Quiet, and peaceful. Need a hot water , tea or coffee maker. Heating/ Cooling unit was okay. I prefer a bathtub over a shower.
- Rebecca (1/5): Did not feel safe sleeping in this hotel - Nothing The room I booked showed two beds on the picture but when I arrived my room was the size of shoe box. There are also apartments attached to this hotel with people lurking and hanging outside at all times. The front desk worker lives in the hotel and you are rudely greeted behind glass and sent upon your way.

- Leah (8/5): Surprise - A few years back, my husband my daughter and her husband stayed. In this motel. It was so dirty. I had to clean the bathroom washed down the walls before I could even use the bathroom and I was very weary of the beds.It was cheap.
So when I saw that this was the same place, I almost t*** around and left well, was I in for a surprise. Our room was clean.
And very comfortable. They do not have the amenities of breakfast but that was okay as we were visiting family down there. And went out to breakfast with them. I would stay there again when I go to visit family.. You still need to do a little more work on the showers, but they were clean.
Also, some hangers in the closet would be nice.
- Britney (3/5): - Found a cockroach when I was packing up alive . The heating unit would not turn completely off, continuing to run and blow cold air after the room reached the set temperature.
- Lawson (7/5): - Cleanliness Parking
- Louk (10/5): -
- Grooms (10/5): - Everything Nothing to dislike
- Anna (10/5): - Attention to detail makes this location a gem in the rough with emphasis on sleep quality, management is on point. Many franchises rely on reputation of trademark with lackluster service, Id rather stay here where quality is emphasized. Parking lot can get crowded which makes it a longer stretch in the cold.
- Vercie (6/5): -

- B (7/5): Good - Its good for the price.
- Debbie (9/5): Superb - Bathroom nice room Couldn't get a roll away bed, bed was very hard.
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional - Nice clean place, affordable too
- Amber (4/5): Disappointing - The worker was nice and efficient The bathroom did not flush. The bed was very noisy. The walls very thin. Internet for tv kept going out.

- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Small, clean, well taken care of, great shower. A little musty odor upon entering..
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mcdole (9/5): Superb - The rooms were nice so. Were the showers tile walk in N/A
- Cari (7/5): Good -
- Ketron (6/5): Overall good experience, wish the rooms were cleaner. - The upgraded room was modern-looking. The room needs the walls by the toilet to be wiped down. The floors could use a good sweeping and mopping. the WiFi connection is terrible, if you have kids that will depend on a cartoon to wind down, your screwed.
- Michael (3/5): Outdated and sketchy. - Nothing. Stqff were umfriendly. Place was run down and sketchy. Room lacked basic furnishing. Just bed and night stands no chairs desk or table. Cleanliness questionanle. Noisy, por parking, no ice or coffee
- Wilson (4/5): Disappointing - Quiet Could not watch TV, no type of cable services, live streaming only and had to use your own accounts, if you had any
- Trey (7/5): Good -
- Mccoppin (7/5): The value for the cost and the location will cause me to return on my next trip. - The facility is much improved recently. The furniture is new, the TV is superb and the exterior looks bright, clean and safe. The air conditioner / heater was extremely noisy. The renovated shower looked good but the 90 degree, squared tile corner in the shower was troubling.
- Shull (10/5): Would stay here again. - The room is stayed in was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and overall it was quiet outside.
- Bradley (6/5): Pleasant -
- James (7/5): Good - Good Na
- Tamara (1/5): Not at all good, room booked was not reserved by the hotel. - Nothing. Did not get to stay where I made the reservation. Hotel employee did not know how to look at online registrations. Was sent down the road. To have stayed at the hotel where I made the registration. They were booked full & sent me to another hotel owned by them that was substandard the room smelled bad, did not have adequate lighting, security lock on the door was broken, no nightstand.
- Brooks (3/5): Will not rebook... - The shower and the location.... No ice machine, towels were dirty sheets were dirty had blood stains on them, window screen bisted, bed was uncomfortable and to high, pillows weren't big enough and killed a spider.
- 1776revolution (10/5): Exceptional - Remodel, 99 percent clean, no carpet. No carpet means no disgusting bugs. Owner very upbeat. Easy access.
- Rodney (7/5): Good -
- Katherine (8/5): Friendly staff and with a little more renovation will be really cute - It was cute apartment’s Could have been a little cleaner but they were doing renovations so I won’t hold that against them
- Michele (4/5): Not very nice Service - This was the 3rd time we stayed here and we were told that the 2nd time we were there that the bath mat was wet and left on the floor by the bed and used to clean up floor. Then he said it had to be thrown away. Mind you we didn't even know this happened and we are talking about a $3 bath mat. We were also told we were going to be charged a $35 deposit for our stay the 3rd time. He did forgo the deposit but we were not very happy.
- Michael (10/5): - The room was very comfortable. My only complaints were that it took forever to warm it up enough, from where it was originally set to 60 degrees; and that the microwave was set to the wrong time. But if those were the only.problems, it was still a great stay.
- Michael (8/5): - The room was okay. I did notice some cockroaches in the room. If you are wanting a place to crash for the night, this place is goo for that.
- Tina (2/5): Gross - Dirty and roach infested
- Richard (4/5): Not for families - The rooms looked nothing like the pictures on here! Mismatched bed spreads, spackle on the walls, floors needed vacuumed, bathroom walls and floors appeared to not have been cleaned for years. Mold on the shower curtain, trash in the night stand and the TV wouldn’t work! The window had broken mini blinds and the window wouldn’t lock! Creepy people sitting outside smoking all night. We couldn’t cancel the reservation because there was no refunds. NOT a family place! At least the front desk man was very nice!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Had to wait for someone staying in another room to "confirm my reservation" before he came to check me in. Sirens at midnight, babies crying all night, creepy guy in a upper window staring at us while we unloaded our stuff around 11pm...he closed the blinds when he noticed us staring back but kept looking out the edge , it was very uncomfortable. Kept a chair infront of the door all night. This is where horror movies start.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not too bad - The carpet was dirty, the bathroom was very small and cramped, the best wasn’t the most comfortable. But the linens were clean, and smelled good.
- Cameron (8/5): Good hotel. - This was a last minute reservation and the gentleman that was working was outstanding.
- Adam (10/5): Simple nice little place to stay - A blessing for any weary tried traveling sole to rest there head
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Didn't like the loud music early the next day by the guy who lived next door.
- Douglas (8/5): - Ok....wifi was not very good...narrow bandwidth and weak signal
- Ramel (6/5): - It was average. Service was a bit stressful you have to wait for the front desk attendant to come out of the room to serve you but other than that it’s decent. Bathroom is very small the walls are a bit destroyed. I was only there for one night so I dealt with it.
- lisa (8/5): - We came in for a weekend event and booked because of convenience. Read reviews after booking and had some strong concerns. On arrival Paul greeted us with a very kind caring personality, help us to our area answered all local questions and gave great suggestions of places to eat good local food. Room could us some real up dates and a paint job but I paid $45nt . Beds ,linens, fridge/freezer and areas of room were clean and orderly. I plan on attending the event again next year and i plan on staying here again. This motel is not for fame or snobby people, it a good old fashioned run of the mill motel that works on a budget to offer reasonable prices. Paul was a Great part of this motel experience.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Dicey, dirty accomodation. Flimsy bathroom door style lock on entrance. No additional chain, deadbolt, etc. Room smelked like raw sewage and bathroom floor had clumps of hair and other garbage scattered around. Only two tiny bath towels and two wash clothes provided and one if the wash clothes had been used but refolded lije it was clean. Bloid stain and hole in bed sheet. Laml beside bed had no pkug. It had been ripped off, leaved exposed wire. Overhead light was too dim for entire room. Bathroom light didnt appear to have a switch in the sink area so it was on all night.
- Daniel (4/5): Smelly Room - This room had obviously been smoked in which must have been for years as the smell was terrible and although it was a non smoking room at some point it was not. The town is cute and quaint and although I enjoyed my trip I got another room the next night after my stay here at about the same price which was much nicer, The staff was great and I would implore the owner to remodel these rooms.
- Debbie (10/5): - Everything was nice. It was no frills, as listed. It was relaxing.
- Reggie (6/5): Long Stay in Ohio - Stayed 10 days at Cedar Hills while deer hunting. Spacious room with large bathroom. Need some repair but perfect for what we were looking for. Very friendly and helpful gentleman managing location. Knew area well and available when needed. Reasonable rates and will stay there again!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice little motel - Motel staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay again.
- James (2/5): So little for the money... - The clerk seemed little interested at our 9:00pm arrival. He had no suggestions for breakfast other than Bob Evans on the road behind us. Room was adequate, but extremely minimal; none of the usual amenities -- guide book for TV, procedures posted, reminders of places to go, and the like. Three different moldings in bathroom, much plaster patching and unfinished sections of wall, cockroaches on floor along fridge which was on but not cold. Microwave clock kept beeping at odd intervals for first half hour, so I unplugged it to get to sleep. Beds were bedbug free and comfortable, the only good things. No one present for check out (a formality since we settled the night before,) so I dropped the key in the slot in the wall (not the door.) All in all a distasteful experience; we will not be using this motel again, even though we plan to return to the area.
