- bjproducts (10/5): Very nice stay - This Hampton Inn is hidden behind a Lowe’s Home Improvement store, so it was pretty quiet. There are loads of restaurants nearby, with a few within walking distance. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast typical Hampton Inn date, though they did’t have the bold caffeinated coffee, just decaf. We had a studio room that was large, but spare. There was a desk with a chair and a sofa, but little else. It could use another chair and a bureau. They only clean the rooms every other day, so be aware that your trash builds up. Our room had a shower with a tub. The water pressure was good. Overall a very pleasant stay. We’ll stay here again in the future

- Jwoody61 (2/5): Unacceptable Customer Service! - My husband and I attempted to check in on 9/27/25 at approximately 9:30pm. First, my credit card was declined which has never happened before as I travel for a living. Next, my husband’s credit card was declined which just confirmed that the issue was the hotel card readers. The hotel associate reset the card readers, and it didn’t resolve the issue. The hotel associate did try to get in contact with his manager, but was unsuccessful. No other assistance was provided, so we had to make a two-hour drive back home after 10:00pm. I am a Hilton Honors Gold Member and give Hilton a significant amount of travel business. This experience was unacceptable! Confirmation # 80754382.

The only negative would be that they wouldnt bring towels to use when we requested them...said we could come to the desk to pick them up. Also, the room needed painting. There were areas on the walls that were different shades where, i am guessing they attempted to spot paint. Overall, we had a nice stay.

- Sheri (6/5): - We have stayed at Hampton Inns for 20+ years. At Hampton Inn & Suites Ft Mill, breakfast was consistently very good all three mornings. Lobby, elevators, and hallways were clean and fresh. Rooms were below our expectations. We stayed at this same inn a few years ago. It was nicer back then. This time, first room did not have strong exhaust for bathroom. Second room did not either. After a poo and even room spray, it was unpleasant to be in the room. First room was two queens with tub-shower and advertised as mobility accessible. My husband is a senior architect and explained the bathroom did not meet ADA accessibility standards. Second room was king with roll-in shower and advertised as mobility accessible. It was closer to meeting ADA accessibility standards. However when you use the shower, water ends up covering a third of the bathroom floor, which is a fall hazard. I used the bath mat towel to wipe up the water, and the towel became dark and dirty. The mattresses in both rooms seemed less comfortable as well. We will stay in a different hotel next time.

We had no washcloths and only two towels, the bathroom sink had the slowest drain, totally gross when brushing your teeth! Lots of road noise all night. In the morning when we woke up to shower, NO shower curtain! The front desk was great and came right up with it, but what the heck. The hotel definitely needs some upgrading, the bench seats in the dining area are all worn. The desk staff was very nice and helpful, it’s not their fault the place is in disrepair and housekeeping needs some tips on doing their job.

- Jes (7/5): It’s a decent hotel, staff was friendly but room needed a bit more love. - Staff was very friendly! Nice location It was ok, they have throw pillows 12x12 pillows on the bed, shower wasn’t cleaned very well, there was blood on the bathroom door and air conditioner seem to run the entire time- had a hard time getting cool.
- Jill (8/5): - Property was undergoing some renovation so there were lots of dumpsters around but it didn’t affect our stay. The pillows were weirdly square but the bed was very comfortable.

- christopherbN9677FI (10/5): Case and Ruby spoiled me - The service here was unbelievable. Case the manager and Ruby just treated me so good. Hampton has the best breakfast and some of the most comfortable beds but absolutely the nicest employees. I highly recommend this place. And you wanna talk about food. They’re literally 100 places to eat within 3 miles.

- Theresa (8/5): The great and not so good - The accommodations were wonderful. The bed was comfy and the bathroom clean with decent water pressure. The staff was solemn and never smiled except for a man that was a GM at another hotel that came to help on Sunday. He was friendly. He greeted us and was receptive to anything we said to him. The lady GM was rude to my husband. There was no luggage rack available for us to carry our things from the room. We toted them one-by-one because the lady GM said, "We only have three and people probably have them in their rooms". No help at all.
