All additional costs are to be paid directly to the hotel and payment will be collected upon check-in/check-out.
Plumeria Hotel Scheduled Speedboat:
Speedboat Transfers: A 1-hour-30-minute one-way trip
Departure from Malé to Thinadhoo Island: 10:00 and 16:00
Departure from Thinadhoo Island to Malé: Morning and afternoon (please contact the hotel reception for departure time)
Seaplane takes 25 minutes to reach Vaavu Atoll Thinadhoo Island and costs approximately
Advanced booking (5 days before arrival) is required for seaplane transfer. Please note that all transfers are subject to change due to weather conditions. Seaplane Transfers are managed by third parties.
Seaplanes operate during daylight hours only, from 06:00–16:00. Guests arriving in Malé after 16:00 will need to find their own overnight accommodations in Malé. They will be transferred to the hotel on the following day from Malé International Airport.

Питание разнообразное, все вкусно было, около берега вечером в определенном месте акулы плавают (безопасные), экскурсии разные, во врем снорклинга с акулами сделки видео под водой, это входило в стоимость экскурсии. На острове много стройки, но это не мешало никак. Так же есть отливы, нам тоже не мешало, купались после 12, но время отливов разное, проверяйте во сколько. Рыбок много на рифе, видели черепах и акул. Кораллы близко к берегу, но есть места для захода и купания без кораллов. Персонал очень отзывчивый. Все хорошо

Mais à part la vue, ça ne nous ont pas déranger. La réalité, c'était magique... Le personnel est super, chambre propre, la nourriture est délicieuse mais au-delà de tout cela l'expérience y est incroyable. On a des étoiles pleins les yeux.

It is very kids friendly. Many activities within the hotel. The food is excellent, buffet has many varieties. We really enjoy our stay. Will definitely come back. Just one little thing, not a big deal. The curtains were shorter than the window so the room was not dark enough for my 9month old.

Great home reef with so many animals and flora. Calm, 1,5 hours by speed boat from Male airport. Extremely pleasant personnel. Rather cheap excursions. Beautiful and fastly renovated island. Beach and the sea are great!!! We will be back 🩷 Part of the island is being built up. This didn't interfere with our vacation. There's no dirt or noise from construction process. But tourists should be just ready for temporary changes in the island.

- cordeliad2022 (2/5): This hotel gives the Maldives a bad name - The hotel manager hosts a crab "race" every Friday, taking the indigenous hermit crabs and placing them in a circle amidst glaring bright lights and thumpingly loud music coming out of enormous speakers on the beach to watch who wins "the race" He is seemingly oblivious to the fact that these creatures are rare and should be protected, not vandalised. Shoved into a bucket until it is time to "perform". There is cement and building work going on everywhere as they are making the hotel bigger and bigger. A room with no view even though it was a "deluxe" room. The island is lovely enough, but it is being absolutely destroyed by this hotel as they seem to have no sensitivity to ecology or beauty whatsoever. The manager was rude and crass. I was so looking forward to coming here. It is so sad to see an island being destroyed before your eyes and with a management that has absolutely no respect whatsoever for nature or sea life.

Питание на уровне, не сильно вкусно, но много всего, можно выбрать, фруктов всегда достаточно, вовремя доносят закончившиеся блюда. Ужасно старые номера, у нас очень пахло канализацией в номере, уборщик решал эту проблему расставив огромное количество нафталиновых ароматизаторов по всему санузлу, это был треш и квест по их поиску и дальнейшему выбрасыванию. Огромное количество комаров, их не травят, я заразилась Денге, подтверждение есть. Кошки по всей территории, замечены за туалетными делами тут же, в песочке под ногами отдыхающих, без обуви мы больше не ходили. Пляжа нет, до нормального пляжа нужно идти, далеко. Много соотечественников…для кого-то это минус, соотечественники не спортивные)))

Замечательный отель с удобный большими номерами. Кондиционеры работают отлично и расположены так, что дуют в ноги, это очень важный момент. Белье и полотенца - все новое. По территории отеля гуляют павлины! Также были замечены курочки, цапли, попугаи и летучие мыши. Все очень чисто и ухожено. Большим плюсом для меня было то, что на завтрак обед и ужин всегда были экзотические фрукты: папайя, ананасы, арбузы, дыни, гуава, маракуйя. В баре у пляжа можно купить кокосы 3$, свежие соки 3,5 $ (ананас, манго, маракуйя и тд) На ужинах всегда свежая рыба на гриле. Ну и, конечно, здесь прекрасные пляжи, кристальная вода, живой риф с его обитателями. Видели всевозможных рыбок, черепах, акул. Акулы - это отдельная история. Их очень много), для кого-то это возможно будет минусом, но если купаться в первой половине дня, то вы их навряд ли встретите. Они подплывают к острову ближе к вечеру. Также очень советую съездить на снорклинг на весь день. Плавание с дельфинами было незабываемо. У отеля есть маленькие минусы, как например пластиковые шезлонги без матрасов, но все это такие пустяки и количество плюсов здесь значительно перевешивает. На один день мы ездили на соседний остров, где находится 5* Cinnamon Velifushi, так там нам не понравилось совсем, хотя шезлонги были новые и удобные). - Andrei (10/5): - Владелец отеля Азиз сам приветствует и провожает, за всем следит. В отеле очень чисто, вообще везде очень чисто на территории, персонал постоянно убирается. Из развлечений настольный теннис, бильярд, водный транспорт и дайвинг. Рядом общий стадион. Еда вкусная, свежая, без изысков, но повара стараются, всегда есть рыба, курица, говядина. Кондитерка хороша, а шоколад нереально вкусный. Номер большой, ремонт свежий, большая двуспальная кровать, ребенку дали раскладушку тоже большую с полноценным матрасом. Вай фай по территории, но скорость не особо. Песок не совсем белый и не мучной фракции (только местами), если кому принципиально. Коралловый риф живой и разнообразный. Постоянно живут черепахи, скаты, акулы няньки и рифовые, триггер (единственный агрессивный), видели кита, дельфинов, живности полно. Попали в муссон, но это не особо минус, полдня в номере только проторчали. Зато москитов не было и не обгорели, комфортно. Каждый день перед ужином кормежка акул. Народу на пляже побольше, чем на резорте, но тут и цена тура меньше. В общем нам понравилось и хотелось бы повторно побывать здесь. На острове есть коты, если у кого аллергия. Но нам они нравились

El arrecife mejor conservado que en otras islas que estuvimos. Que te cobren una comisión del 3,5% al pagar con tarjeta y no esté avisado en Booking cuando no es nada normal que ocurra eso. Al ser precios altos nos supuso un inconveniente porque no teníamos efectivo (dólares) y el sobrecoste fue importante.

Bikini beach is equipped with free sunbeds and huts all along the shoreline. Good house reef where you can go snorkeling all around the island. I have seen nurse sharks, sting ray, manta ray and plenty of colourful fish. The room (standard room) is spacious and clean with complimentary bottles of water. The international buffet is delicious. Kudos to GM Azee for making our stay memorable. Big thank you to Hassan from the Plumeria Padi diving center for his support in refreshing my scuba skills and guiding me in 3 fantastic dives around the Vaavu atoll.

Рядом с островом риф, полный разных красивых рыбок, есть живой коралл (ориентир - пляж бикини, пальма с номером 154). Экскурсии от отеля недорогие, брала снорк на целый день, плавали с черепахой и с акулами, видели дельфинов. На самом острове Тинаду тоже есть что делать, у отеля Rising Sun (направо от пляжа с кормлением акул) проводят сьемку с дрона с акулами, берите ночной вариант. По еде - ни в одном другом отеле нет такого великолепного шведского стола. Голодным остаться там нереально) Все очень вкусно, и блюда там каждый день разные. Очень гостеприимный персонал. Обязательно вернемся сюда и в четвертый раз) Жаль что остров активно застраивают, была тут в 2023 году, сейчас зелени стало поменьше. Ну и вайфай часто слетал, для хорошего интернета лучше взять местную симку в аэропорту.

- 890clarissap (10/5): Truly special place - We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the location is simply amazing. The island feels very private, with only a few hotels, and Plumeria being the largest on the island. It offers sunbeds along the beach, a pool table by reception, two table tennis tables, and a small play area for younger children, which made it perfect for families. The shark feeding time that happens every day is amazing to watch. 30 minutes before you already notice all the sharks making their way to the feeding point, I have never seen so many sharks before. We all enjoyed massages at the spa, which were wonderful. The gym is well equipped, and there is a small swimming pool that remains in the shade throughout the day. We mainly used the pool while completing our diving course. A special mention goes to Amir from the Dive Centre. He is extremely polite, patient, and professional. We completed our PADI Open Water course with him, including our two children, and he took the time to carefully explain every detail and ensure they felt confident and safe. The children had an amazing experience, and we highly recommend both Amir and the dive centre. We went on a fishing trip that we highly recommend. We also joined the full-day excursion, which was absolutely unforgettable. The staff that took us on the excursion was very polite, they took great pictures and videos. We swam with turtles, dolphins, nurse sharks, and had lunch on Fulidhoo Island, where we had free time to explore and even see stingrays by the shore. It was an incredibly special day and one we will always remember. The rooms are on the simpler side, but in the Maldives you spend very little time indoors, and they are perfectly comfortable. The seaview building has the newer rooms and offers particularly lovely views. We stayed over Christmas, and the festive dinner and celebrations were fantastic. The hotel put on a wonderful show, the Christmas lights and decorations were beautiful, and the special dinner was clearly prepared with great care and effort. The manager is always present, overseeing everything and ensuring guests are comfortable and well looked after. On our departure day, we were truly touched to receive small gifts and to see the staff waving goodbye as our boat left the island. This place is truly special. We had a magical stay and cannot wait to return. We highly recommend both the hotel and the island of Thinadhoo. A heartfelt thank you Aziz and to all the staff who made our holiday such a memorable and unforgettable experience.

- NicoFr974 (4/5): Disappointing experience at Plumeria hotel - We had high expectations for our stay, but unfortunately several issues impacted our experience. We were placed in a nearly windowless bedroom room #177 (2 windows facing walls) extremely noisy since placed next to the kitchen exhaust system. We had to complain several times to be replaced in another room after 2 sleepless nights. On our very first dinner, the hotel manager witnessed us adding a passion fruit to a drink and made an inappropriate remark, calling it "indecent" a comment we found both perfectly inappropriate. The same first day we approached the hotel's dive center to inquire about diving, we felt like we were bothering the staff. Getting basic information felt unnecessarily complicated, and the overall atmosphere was unwelcoming. To top it off, my partner became ill for the last three days of our stay after a dinner at the hotel restaurant. All in all, we’re sorry to say we won’t have fond memories of our time at Plumeria.

Yes, “affordable luxury” — definitely, but let’s be honest. Let’s start with the food. Breakfast is of low quality, with generally average products. The selection is quite wide, but the only truly good items are the omelettes and the plum cakes. The same applies to lunch and dinner: the food is always very repetitive and lacks variety. The rooms feel very improvised and adapted. I also experienced issues with the safe, which often wouldn’t open or close properly, and with the shower, as the water temperature was not adjustabl I’m sorry, but I can’t really recommend this place. On the same island there is another hotel that is definitely worth choosing over this one.

The buffets were simply amazing, offering an extensive selection of cuisines and incredibly delicious food. This was one of the major highlights of our stay—honestly better than what we’ve experienced at some resorts. We loved the vibe of the bar area, the great drink selections, and truly appreciated the thoughtful dinner table allocation before our departure day. It may seem like a small gesture, but it made us feel genuinely valued and created such memorable final moments. We also enjoyed the spa and gym—both excellent facilities. The spa experience was especially relaxing, thanks to the professional therapists. From the very first visit this place felt special and welcoming. The staff are extremely friendly attentive and genuinely caring. You always feel that you are truly valued as a guest. The owner of the hotel is deeply involved in every detail and makes sure that everything is done to create the most comfortable experience possible for all guests. This personal approach makes a huge difference and creates a warm family like atmosphere. I really love the food here as it is always delicious fresh and thoughtfully prepared. A true highlight for me is the dining tables set directly on the ocean shore. Enjoying meals with the sound of the waves and the ocean view is an unforgettable experience. They do everything possible to make your stay as comfortable relaxing and enjoyable as it can be. I honestly cannot imagine a better hotel on an island with local residents. Бассейн очень маленький, скорее формальный, никто туда не ходит. Окна корпуса рядом с бассейном выходят на стройку, хотя она не слишком мешает.

But i would give a zero for the watersports centre - We stayed at Plumeria for five nights, and overall the rooms were clean and had a beautiful ocean view, worth the price for a local island hotel. The buffet was okay but had the same food every single day. The biggest downside was how locals were treated. The staff clearly prioritised foreign guests, especially at the watersports centre. We tried for two days to do jet skiing, but they kept giving excuses,first low tide, then weather and they yet still allowed foreign guests to use the jet skis. Even after waiting for their calls and staying nearby, we were ignored multiple times. We even extended our stay just to do some activities bc the first two days had rain. I am so disappointed. Our stay was pleasant, but it became obvious that locals are not treated as valued guests here eventhough we pay same price as foreigners for the watersports activities!

- Daniela (9/5): overall very beautiful, thank you! - Everything was organized smoothly from transfer from the airport to the accommodation, information provided by the staff, tours organizing etc. The staff in general were amazing and the hotel feels genuinely welcoming. Breakfast has a large variety, in my opinion already too large considering the logistics and potential waste this generates for such a small island - less would be ok in order to preserve the beauty of the island as much as possible. I went on 2 excursions, one to see Manta Rays and one to see Whalesharks, after ensuring that both did not include baiting/feeding practices. I was lucky to see Manta, but did not see Whalesharks. As disappointed as I was personally to not see a Whaleshark, I'm happy that here the balance is seemingly intact and these beautiful animals can avoid human encounters if they wish to do so. My room was located facing the arrival area, so it was quite noisy around the time of arrivals each day when the exact same songs were playing at the exact same time, and also during the parties in the evening, when I was working in my room. Unfortunately Plumeria advertises for shark feeding (nurse sharks & sting ray) at a small part of the beach behind the hotel. While tourists understandably want to see aquatic animals and the nurse sharks are undeniably beautiful, we should limit the impact and interference we have with them instead of increasing contact unnaturally between sharks and humans by feeding practices. A lot of negative impact on the ecosystem can result from it, and it's just unnecessary. Visitors should simply learn to appreciate the nature, and randomness of shark encounters, rather than trying to curate them. Beware that some of the excursions organized by Plumeria also include feeding practices, eg. for the Shark snorkeling as far as I was informed. For the sake of the beautiful nature and these animals, please stop these practices. There is a reason it was outlawed. Another note which is not directly the hotel's fault, but that I believe the hotel should use it's influence on the island to ensure, is that the local shops sell sunscreens that contain toxic ingredients that will kill the corals. There are even brands that claim to be reef friendly, but still contain toxic ingredients. I think all tourists that travel to the Maldives appreciate the beauty of the reefs, so we should do everything in our power to protect and maintain them. Which includes being aware of what we put on our skin and essentially take into the ocean with us. To other tourists: Please make sure you bring enough actually reef friendly sun screen yourself so you aren't forced to buy one of the toxic brands (you can google this easily!) and to Plumeria: please use your influence to ensure only coral-friendly products are brought on the island.

- Trip23330528557 (10/5): Family trip of 3 - We stayed 2 nights (Locals) in plumeria it’s a family trip. And I was amazed by the hug space the hotel has on the island. With being someone who has worked in resorts for over 10 years I would say this is almost a resort experience but with a cheaper price. Everything was well organized the staffes being super nice and the buffet really suprised me. Usually even resorts 5 star few of them don’t have this quality food. And everyone has given us a personalized service loved it so much. We would definitely reccomend to our friend and family and be back.

Mahesh impeccably cleaned our room every day in the morning. Waiters and waitresses at the restaurant were super caring. We loved it! We wanted to pay in euro but the hotel applied an exchange rate that was very disadvantageous compared to the actual one. Better to pay in USD.

- V4429JHmohameda (2/5): Worst Experience Ever – Total Waste of Money at Pulmeria Maldives - I stayed at Pulmeria Maldives in Vaavu Atoll, and honestly, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I came for one night planning to extend for my anniversary, but after the first night, I couldn’t wait to leave. The room door was hard to open, there was no internet, and the TV had no channels. We weren’t properly welcomed or escorted — just ignored. We were treated like random locals instead of paying guests. I’ve worked in the Maldivian tourism industry for 13 years, and I’ve never seen such poor service and unprofessional management. The manager mr.kumara clearly has no idea how to run a hotel, and the staff aren’t trained at all. To make it worse, our speedboat was canceled because of “bad weather,” while other hotels and resorts were still operating normally. And even after all that, we didn’t get a single apology or gesture from management. Hats off to the manager who didn’t even bother to talk to us when we requested — true example of how not to handle guests. The place might look big, but the service is pathetic. They only seem to care about foreign guests. I completely regret staying here — total waste of money, time, and energy.

- Serena (2/5): Pessimo - Il mare La struttura di per se non è male ma le camere avrebbero bisogno di una ristrutturazione pesante; il bagno è stuccato con materiali scadenti e la muffa non è bello vederla; avevamo la formula con la sola colazione ma il cibo è davvero pessimo, se volete succhi si pagano, la frutta è praticamente assente e persino il pane è quasi immangiabile. La sera abbiamo utilizzato il ristorante a la carte ma per 8 giorni il cibo ordinato è stato quasi sempre lasciato. La nota più dolente è il pagamento che non è possibile farlo tramite questo portale e vi dicono che potete pagare in $ ma anche in Eur ma omettono di dirvi che se volete pagare in Eur il rapporto con i dollari è 1 a 1 e cioe se dovete pagare 10$ vogliono 10 Euro. Un comportameto a dir poco vergognoso.

- nishbewithyou (10/5): Memorable stay at Plumeria Maldives - We stayed at Plumeria for 3 nights and absolutely enjoyed our time there. We booked 2 dives with their dive center and both were well organized. Our ocean view room was spacious with a lovely balcony perfect for relaxing after a day of diving. One of the highlights was their daily nurse shark feeding which was such a unique experience to watch! They also offered complimentary afternoon short eats for all guests, a really nice touch. What made it even more memorable was being personally sent off by the owner on our departure day. Overall, it was a great stay...warm hospitality, good diving and a beautiful island atmosphere. Highly recommended!

At Plumeria Diving Center, we felt safe, well taken care of, and very welcome from the very beginning. A huge thank you to our instructor Ayman Mahmoud – he is simply the best! His calm, patient, and professional way made us feel confident and turned our first dive into an unforgettable memory. All the different trips were perfectly organized and carried out – everything was top-notch from start to finish! We’ll definitely come back and can highly recommend the Plumeria Diving Center!
