- Verified traveler (10/5): - American tourists are not common in Obama. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome! We stayed in a Japanese style room, but they have European ones too, and also an onsen (communal hot spring bathing), which is always a plus.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This property is ocean view. Nice to sit in the room by the window with ocean view. Dinner is room service. Only thing is the dinner is like a big bento box . Has no sushi or sashimi at all. But you need to hit up and cook the rice and soup in the room is interesting
- Leah (6/5): Average hotel - Hotel was outdated and old looking. Room had a very strong smell of the floor mats. Basic amenities in the rooms, bathroom was old and required updating. Staff were nice.
- Heidi (6/5): Beautiful ocean view - The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. Dinner was great, but the breakfast was not a buffet and as nice as in the pictures. The location from Hotels.com to Google maps is at least 3 kilometers off. We had to go roaming the town to find it
