We booked a penthouse which is very spacious. Only the bathroom won't bulge if you do not exert extra force. And the open area at the roof top is not being maintained. Need extra cleaning. • Mia Lou (5/5): Expected good things but ended up disappointed - Proximity to the event we were attending and the breakfast buffet -food was good even if options were limited. One room had a musty smell. The other room had a faulty shower knob and water heater. Ine bed had a dirt stain. We were asked to pay a security deposit (P1k per room) in cash which does not seem to be indicated in the booking.com policy - good we had cash. We felt rushed by the restaurant staff at the breakfast buffet when they connected and set a table for two to our table while we were still eating. When we suggested to separate the table so some diners can still occupy it, they replied that they put the table together with ours for a group of 6 who were coming in. That was rude considering that we haven’t finished eating yet.

• Pgyphl (6/5): Not so pleasant stay - Location is just accross the shopping area. The hotel is very old and room looks rundown. The bathroom door handles were falling apart, curtain had a tear and they did not even bother to replace it. Bed sheet and towels were already old. It was supposed to be white but they already have a grayish tinge due to age. The room though is quit big and spacious. Also i do not think this is a family hotel as the bathroom oddly has a glass wall and the one taking a bath can be seen from the bedroom. Lobby has a strong smell that is irritating the nose. Breakfast is very below par. Their saving grace for me are the pleasant staff and room cleaners.
• ashwatdudhwal (6/5): Average facilities - For that price I would say it is an Ok hotel but there are other good hotels in the vicinity if the budget can go up. The hotel has a decent size swimming pool, car parking is ample space and on weekends locals come to stay and have pool side fun time with families. The FnB is limited however well prepared. The staff is courteous. The room I stayed had old furniture in it. The breakfast buffet is available but it is very basic. Another downside is the location..one cannot walk and go to nearby restaurants or bars. There is nothing near around as the hotel is in an industrial area. Like I mentioned, with that price it is ok but I would increase my budget to try another hotels nearby which are newer.

I thought I should inform the staff for improved performance for the following day, upon informing the staff that they can improve the boiling time, they replied , " but we had the standard number of minutes of cooking it." Sad to say, i have checked in many hotels, but this is the first time that I have met such difficult egg to peel. the shells are broken to so many pieces, arg... none

• Kenneth (3/5): Disappointing....we will not stay there again. - AS basic hotel with basic facilities. The hotel wants to appear better than it really is. I found the reception staff to be most unhelpful in regards to arranging transport to another location in Santa Rosa. "Sorry Sir Kenneth, no taxis....no trikes either". They didn't even bother. If it was my hotel I would organise something with several of the local trike operators at a minimum to provide SOMETHING for my paying guests. We had to walk hundreds of meters (in the rain sometimes) to access a trike to take us into the mall at Santa Rosa.
