- Nicole (9/5): Fantastisch - We hadden een huisje met eigen patio waar we heerlijk hebben kunnen genieten, het eten was fantastisch, het personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je was echt even weg van alle drukte (omdat het best wel afgelegen ligt 😁) je zit midden in de natuur en hoort de zee op de achtergrond, wij zijn hier helemaal tot rust gekomen. Wij willen zeker in de toekomst hier terugkomen! Niets
- Antoine (10/5): Les pieds dans l’eau - Charmant petit hotel sur la plage. Si vous cherchez un endroit au calme et les pieds dans l’eau, c’est ici qu’il vous faut aller. On s’endort au son des vagues. Pour que le repos soit total, il pourrait être bien de mettre des rideaux occultants.
- Sally (10/5): A haven of peace and comfort - This place was just amazing, a perfect combination of rustic charm and modern comfort. Gorgeous setting, right on the beach but sheltered by plenty of palms and casuarina trees. There's a lovely shaded porch looking out over the sea, where you could sit for hours. The rooms are spacious with good air-con and comfortable beds. Our bathrooms were actually outdoors, so you could look up and see the sky... but there was hot water (probably solar) for the shower. Given that the Bamboo restaurant was the only food option (without getting a taxi somewhere else), we were pleasantly surprised by both the variety and the quality of the menu. Breakfast was especially good. Meanwhile, the staff were just amazing - helpful and friendly without being obtrusive. And the whole place is ecologically aware. For instance, the rooms have refillable glass bottles of drinking water, not plastic bottles. The location is quite remote, so once you're at the resort, you're sort of stuck there. However, the manager (who was incredibly helpful) got us a taxi who took us on a half-day trip around the island including to Duang Dong, the main town. The road leading to the resort is rutted dirt... very dodgy... it will make you worry about what might be at the end! So you'll be pleasantly surprised when you finally get to the resort.

- Natascha (10/5): Strand, Sonne und leckeres Essen :) - Wir hatten einen rundum tollen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel und können es absolut weiterempfehlen! Besonders begeistert hat uns der saubere und gepflegte Strand – perfekt, um zu entspannen und die Zeit zu genießen. Das Personal war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Ein großes Plus ist auch der Roller-Verleih direkt vor Ort. Für etwa 8 € am Tag kann man sich ganz unkompliziert einen Roller mieten und die Umgebung flexibel erkunden – ideal für Ausflüge! Das à la carte Frühstück war ebenfalls ein Highlight: Es gab immer eine ausreichend große und abwechslungsreiche Auswahl, sodass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei war. Auch das Essen zum Mittag- und Abendessen war durchweg sehr lecker und qualitativ hochwertig. Unser Zimmer war ebenfalls gut ausgestattet und verfügte über einen Kühlschrank, was sehr praktisch war. Einen Safe gibt es zwar – wie auch von anderen bereits erwähnt – nicht, jedoch haben wir uns jederzeit sicher gefühlt und hatten keinerlei Bedenken, unsere Wertsachen im Zimmer zu lassen. Insgesamt ein wirklich gelungener Aufenthalt – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Alles war perfekt

Etablissement tranquille, bien calme, bien à l’abri du tourisme de masse qui existe à certains endroits de Phu Quoc. Très bonne cuisine diversifiée et raffinée. Propreté au top. Personnel accueillant, doux, souriant et serviable. Il manque quand même un frigo. Mer agitée avec faible visibilité comme sur toute la côte nord pendant notre séjour dernière semaine de mars.

- Joanna (7/5): A cosy, welcoming, relaxing stay. - A lovely, well kept resort in rural location. We hired a scooter and had a great time buzzing around the gorgeous area. We thought we’d booked a bungalow with balcony. It’s in all the pictures and we only had one option when booking. Turns out that’s cos the bungalows were all sold out so just had a room. It was nice but not what we’d imagined so just be careful when booking to be sure it states ‘with balcony’ if that’s what you want.

Gorgeous facility to get away from the massive development and investments Phu Quoc is currently experiencing, just relaxing and enjoying the nature of the island. The cottage is a bit away from other shops and restaurants, so it takes time to get a taxi (which the cottage can arrange for customers) to move around.

- S.Va (9/5): - Im Vergleich zu den übrigen Touristenhochburgen auf der Insel ist der Aufenthalt an diesem abgelegenen Ort wesentlich entspannter. Das Essen ist besser als in benachbarten Grand World. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen. Auch Angeln und Schnorcheln waren hier gut und preiswert. Wer nach Phu Quoc fahrt, muss wissen, dass die Insel unglaublich vermüllt ist. Aich dieses Hotel, der Weg dahin und der Strand sind keine Ausnahme.

The chalets are on a private beach so only a few steps and you are in the sea. The food was delicious - we will definitely be back again. nothing
- Iina (10/5): - Ihana paikka, varmasti parhaimpia missä olen ikinä yöpynyt tai tulen yöpymään. Upea ranta aivan bungalowien edessä, aaltojen ääni kuului ihanasti huoneeseen (meillä oli lopulta eri huone kuin alunperin varasin). Ravintola oli hyvä. Skootterin vuokraus oli sujuvaa ja edullista. Lähellä oli kiva snorklauspaikka ja hotellista sai lainata kajakkeja ja snorkkeleita. Myös sänky ja tyynyt olivat mielestäni mukavat vaikka joissain kommenteissa niitä sanottiin koviksi. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Hotellissa pidin kaikesta ja olen kaikkeen erittäin tyytyväinen. Ei sieltä oikeastaan tarvitse edes poistua minnekään, mutta jos haluaa käydä jossain niin kannattaa ottaa skootteri. Grabia voi olla vähän vaikea saada hotellille, mutta kyllä senkin sai pienen odotuksen jälkeen. Lähellä oleva grand world varmasti jakaa mielipiteitä; meistä se oli hirveä paikka mutta monien mielestä varmasti kiva (vastaava "kaupunki" kuin sunset town etelässä). Paikallisten ravintoloitakin löytyy kyllä lähistöltä pienen skootterimatkan päästä jos grand worldin meininki ei kiinnosta.

The food is excellent and the best we had eaten in Vietnam, at a good price. Alcohol was also reasonably priced. We had a good snorkelling and fishing trip arranged by Hanh, the lovely manager, who is really helpful. It’s fairly isolated so suitable if you want to chill. We were impressed that they are attempting to reduce plastic use which is a great problem in Vietnam The shower tended to flood the floor so it was difficult to use the toilet without wet feet! A mop. Or shower blade would be helpful

Į toliau esančią salą su koraliniais rifais užsakė žvejų valtį. Personalas paslaugus ir rūpestingas. Šviežias ir skanus maistas. Kambariai tvarkingi, su kondicionieriumi. Realybėje yra geriau nei nuotraukose. Buvome apsistoję 4 naktis ir buvo gaila išvykti. Vieną dieną trūko gultų, nes visi svečiai lieka viešbutyje ir niekas nenori iš jo vykti į jokius turus :)

Dennoch sollte man sich bewusst sein, dass es in der näheren Umgebung sonst eigentlich nichts gibt. Leider fehlt es an einem Safe und Kühlschrank auf den Zimmern, der Platz wäre da.

- Zuzanna (10/5): Amazing! - It was a stay in an incredible, beautiful, and unique place. The service was wonderful, the food delicious, and the views stunning. We had a cottage with direct access to the sea, so we woke up to the waves and sunrise every day. The beach is practically private; apart from about 10 people staying at the property, we didn't see anyone else. The property offers kayak and scooter rentals. The food is excellent quality, and you can feel it with every meal. It was simply wonderful! The staff was very helpful, and they even prepared a little surprise for us for our honeymoon. I wholeheartedly recommend it! A wonderful place created by wonderful people. Everything was perfect.

- Marianne (10/5): Blissful retreat in paradise - Bamboo Cottages is exceptional as the getaway that Phu Quoc should be. Little huts line a peaceful bay safe for clean swimming and you can watch the fishing boats go past, or the little crabs scuttling over the beach. Loungers, swings and hammocks line the beachside area which is clean and free of litter. It’s a beautiful garden with lizards, birds (and ants) and it’s a lovely place to spend time and relax. The hotel manager is dedicated and professional, with a vision of how tourism can properly integrate with the environment.

The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. The restaurants food was delicious. We had a fantastic time relaxing here. Be prepared for a bumpy back road to get there, and some mosquitoes at dusk. The desk has repellent!

Viešbutis suteikia nemokamai galimybę paplaukioti baidarėmis. Galima nuplaukt į netoli esančia salą ir pasigrožėti aplinka ją augančiais koraliniais rifais. Viešbučio restorane serviruojami nemokami pusryčiai. Pietų ar vakarienės metu meniu pasirinkimas yra pakankamai gausus už prieinamas kainas. Viešbutyje galima išsinuomoti motorolerį. Viešbutis už mokestį gali suorganizuoti pervežimą į ir iš oro uosto. Tačiau mes pasinaudojome galimye nemokamai atvažiuoti autobusu iš oro uosto į Grand World, o iš ten per Grab programėlę išsikvietėme taksi. Taip pat važiavome ir į oro uostą, tačiau susidūrėme su situacija, kad į viešbutį per Grab programėlę automobilį išsikviesti sunkiau - keli vairuotojai rezervacijas atšaukė, tad automobilis atvažiavo gal po pusvalandžio. Gerai, kad turėjome laiko rezervą. Viešbučio personalas nuostabus ir labai paslaugus. Kambariai kasdien tvarkomi, teritorija priežiūrima. Labai džiaugiamės, kad pasirinkome šį viešbutį, nes gavome tai, ko ir ieškojome.

Huone viihtyisä ja siivous joka päivä. Todella vähän ihmisiä ja on todellinen hidden gem. Hotellilta saa skootterin ja grand world 5min matkan päässä. Suosittelen jos haluan olla todella rauhassa ilman mitään ylimääräistä ympärillä. Kaikki oli erinomaista.

The beach was cristal clear, clean, and it was so peaceful. I even extended my stay because I loved it so much there. The food is excellent and the staff is always nice and helpful. Food is a little pricey, and one bungalow does not have screens for the mosquitoes. But all and all, still loved my stay there. And I was put on a new bungalow my two last nights.

- Jessica (7/5): Good for a remote retreat from society, but if you are after any atmosphere, I'd look elsewhere - The beach that bamboo cottages sits on and is stunning. It is a beautiful and peaceful place to swim. The main food menu was good. If you were looking for a remote place to perhaps write a novel and be left alone, then I would recommend this place. I feel like the service needed some improvement - we waited for service on numerous occasions and often empty plates were left on tables for ages which attracted a lot of bugs which when eating outside, I was eaten alive by the ants and no even eco solutions were in place to help deal with the ants, they got everywhere. The place also seemed like it needed some gentle music and some additional beach furniture to create a more relaxed atmosphere and ensure people could lay in the sun after a swim. Not an issue for everyone, but the beers were not cold and there was not a lot of options. It is also down a really rocky road which some taxi drivers were not happy about driving us down.

Zuvorkommender Services, freundlich, nett und bei allen Fragen sehr hilfreich.Wir hatten ein Sea View Garden Bungalow gebucht und konnten auf Nachfrage am nächsten Tag und den Strandbungalow umziehen. Für uns perfekt, Meeresrauschen, Traumblick aufs Meer, etc. Die Strandhütte hat allerdings keine Klimaanlage, nur einen Ventilator. Für uns war es absolut ausreichend. Für uns war diese Hütte traumhaft. Morgens von der Terrasse auf den Sonnenuntergang zu schauen...... Nuchts

- Eric (10/5): Une parenthèse de bonheur. - En arrivant, nous avons trouvé que l’hôtel était mieux que ce qui est représenté sur les photos et l’idée que nous nous en faisions. On est sur la plage, une plage très propre, avec une eau très claire et plus propre que sur les plages des alentours. nous avions peur d’être un peu isolés, comme cela était mentionné dans certains commentaires, mais en prenant l’application Grab, vous êtes à 10 minutes en taxi de la ville nouvelle qui est une représentation de Venise. Et cela ne coûte que deux euros de taxi. et cette ville, regorge d’animations, de restaurants et de loisirs. L’eau de la mer est très calme, à 30° comme une immense piscine. la qualité de la nourriture et du service est exceptionnelle. Je recommande à 100 % et nous y reviendrons certainement. Bien que le personnel soit très efficace, serviable, et sympathique, On apprécierait moins de restrictions sur des denrées courantes au petit déjeuner, comme des serviettes en papier, du sucre. on ressent un peu une gestion très serrée qui ne cadre pas avec le standing de l’hôtel.
- James (7/5): Very relaxing, perfect place to unwind if you want a beach holiday. - Location was excellent, rooms were well laid out and clean. Air conditioning worked well, food in the restaurant was healthy and well presented. The beach was clean and the gardens lovely. Breakfast choices could be a bit more western style, for example toast and not just sweet rolls, plus butter , which they did not have. The pillows in the bedrooms are tiny and very hard, I woke up with a sore neck every morning. The towels are also too small for westerners. More sunbeds are needed and the cushions on the sunbeds and restaurant chairs are too thin.

Nice breakfast and a good variety of food on the menu. The last few hundred meters of the road to the resort is really bad. Taxi’s hardly want to drive there.
