They took care of the moke rental, reservations for dinner, transportation from/to the airport. Every single staff member welcomed you with a smile and courtesy of communication. Barbara, Emmanuelle, Delina, and the driver for valet (can't remember his name) thank you thank you for everything. Pauline the GM was amazing as well. If hesitant on booking, do not. The place is beautiful, welcoming and steps away from Nikki beach club and eden rock sand bar. 10/10 đ

Delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners were just steps away from our room. The pool is beautiful with stunning views of the sea. And the service is impeccable! Everyone on the staff was so kind and generous, with a very special mention to Elia, Elio, Camille, Yasmine, and Pierre. They all made our visit so fun and enjoyable! My husband and I highly recommend this hotel.

We chose the hotel based on its location and strong reviews, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. Tropical is a charming boutique hotel in the perfect location. If, like us, you want to be close to Gustavia and within walking distance of beach clubs such as Nikki Beach, it is ideal. It offers both convenience and a relaxed, stylish atmosphere, making it a wonderful base for a stay in St. Barth. Everyone working there was so kind and lovely, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are beautiful, and we stayed in an Ocean Suite, which we would definitely book again. We traveled with our teenage daughters, and it was perfect for our family. The island feels very safe, and from this location they could easily walk around. We had a great stay and would happily return.

The staff is kind, friendly, super efficient and accommodating They helped us with all of our requests and bookings. The pool is absolutely beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal that we got there. The spicy margaritas were also quite delicious! The hotel was very clean and the cleaning staff cleaned up twice a day and were very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend the tropical hotel! We will be back next year for sure!

But the Tropical has one of the best service team I have ever witnessed. for example, my rental car had a dead battery when I went back to it about 830 one night. I fo phoned the hotel they sent the cab. But then they called the car rental company without me asking and had them pick up the car, charge it and bring it back to the hotel. Service over and above. Also beautiful room, great food, wonderful pool and view. What more would you want?

- Almosttheoldest (2/5): Horrific!!!!!! - Horrific. I come to St Bart's every year and stay with friends near this hotel. Tonight was my third visit to Topical since they opened and unlike my two previous visits this one was horrific. Tonight all I wanted was a glass of wine or two in their lobby lounge. A middle-aged woman helped me find a table and I never saw her again. Nor did anyone else approach me for my order. I had to take myself up to the bar (I am almost the oldest Baby Boomer, so I am a little creaky) to ask for the wine, which was given to me at the bar, not brought to my table. There were one or two young men scurrying around the room, lighting candles but not the one at my table, and none of them ever said a word to me; I was completely ignored. I have often gone to the Remy bar at the Eden Rock, which is just down the hill; there I am always greeted, seated, order taken, and given a dish of something to nosh on. How Tropical can call itself a 5-star hotel is a mystery.. Maybe those who rate it highly have never been to a real 5-star place. When I finally asked a few young men if any of them was the manager, and none of them were, they listened to my complaint but I believe I heard the words "shift change". I had to teach them that an apology accompanied by an excuse is no longer an apology. I will never go to this hotel again.

This second stay was chill and peaceful and perfect, once again. A special thanks to Pauline, Kelly, Marion and Barbara for their warm welcome and very good work. My daughters had the best idea ever: they offered me a facial treatment with Valérie . She is a kind of magician and my hour spent with her was definitely one of my best moments in St Barth. As we say in French, jamais deux sans trois, see u soon then!

- michellenS3376XO (10/5): Most amazing hotel and staff in St. Barths - I can't say enough amazing things about this hotel, and as I live in NYC my standards are a bit high, and wow wow wow Tropical Hotel far exceeds expectations. Not only are the hotel, the rooms, the view gorgeous, but the staff are beyond fabulous, they truly go above and beyond! I have stayed at this hotel several times (I've stopped counting :)) over the past two years, and the price is worth every penny. The standards here are so high that they have made traveling to other hotels around the world fail by far in comparison. The food here is beyond delicious! Your day starts with complimentary breakfast, and let me tell you that delicious doesn't even cover it, I think of their crispy bacon when away :) It is a good portion of food and drinks that you really don't need to worry about lunch which is nice. The hotel is write up the hill from the nicest strip of beach in St. Jean so you can easily walk there, and there is plenty of shopping there too. Or if you prefer a relaxing day at the hotel pool is an option. I am more of a beach person, but only here do I find myself spending some of my days at there pool instead because it is so nice and the service and food and drinks amazing at the pool. And in the last year they now have the most amazing spa services. I first tried the kobido facial massage here and wow wow wow, you can't find this caliber in all of NYC. The other massages and services are amazing, it is a special technique that you won't find elsewhere. Barbara and Pauline are just two of such a great team, and they feel like family at this point, even helping me to get a hold of a helmut to use! To say they go above and beyond is an understatement. Everyone is there for you 24 hrs a day. Their recommendations for places to visit is always super helpful, they arrange your taxi in advance, super responsive on WhatsApp 247. And the rooms are so lovely, just perfect and comfortable. As you can see I could go on forever about how fabulous this hotel is! I should add also as I work remotely I have spent time working from here, and the wifi is amazing, and room service is great so you can work and eat in privacy and comfort when you need to. In the past I had stayed at other hotels with wifi not so great, and while working this is key! I can't wait to return in 2026! You can't go wrong staying here, I promise!

It's right in the heart of St. Jean; only a couple of minutes walk from Eden Rock and Nikki Beach (which is always calm and safe for swimming, plus it has palm trees for shade as it faces north). Gustavia is a âŹ40 taxi ride from the hotel or a 40-minute walk (2.5 km), but be mindful of the temperature and the hill in front of the airport. So no need to hire a car really. Governor of Flamards are the next nicest beaches but can be reached by taxi for âŹ40 each way. The flight into St. Barth from SXM is an experience! The hotel is not cheap, but in the context of the rest of St Barth, it is not expensive either. Be prepared for St. Tropez prices here in a Caribbean setting!

After that, things got a lot better. Kind and helpful staff. Easy checkin/checkout. Nice room and the restaurant serves very good food. Note, we love to hike so the very steep hill getting to/from the hotel lobby was something we could handle. However, if you are not fit this could be a problem for you if you don't have a car.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, Barbara, Yasmine, Luane and Camille at the front desk were fantastic, warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They were always checking in to make sure everything was perfect and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They took care of placing flowers and strawberry chocolates with a perfectly written letter in the room by the time we arrived, we loved it. Just an example of one of the details. Our transfer from the airport with Dylan was also great. He was super friendly, on time, and really made the drive enjoyable with some great local tips and easy conversation. He would have our rental ready and outside the hotel when we needed it also on time. Caroline helped us at our arrival with our welcome drinks, at breakfast the next morning and by the pool. She was amazing, always had a smile, and made our time feel relaxed and easy. The hotel itself is beautiful, tropical, peaceful, and perfectly located. It has a relaxed, boutique feel but with luxury-level service. and amenities. Perfect place and staff for a perfect getaway.

My car was always ready when requested. Its about a 2 min walk to Nikki beach and accessible to other beach clubs and restaurants. Airport transportion was included as well! Helped with any reservations, taxi transfers, booking classes at the gym. Hotel is very clean. Modern tropical accents that no other hotel on the island has. It is located in the beautiful st. Jean beach, Just across the street from all the famous attractions. The view is unmatched !!! The breakfast was divine, from fresh juices to fresh baked croissants and healthy options such as chia pudding. The spa was amazing and much needed. I received a lymphatic massage from one of the specialist. Highly recommended especially during a vacation or drinking and eating !!! On Sunday there was a dj and the it became a party like in a tropical jungle. I really canât say enough good things about this establishment. Every staff personnel was always smiling, friendly, and accommodating. And I look forward to more future stays!!!

Concierge helped with all reservations, Concierge removed any hustle to get tables and beach clubs. Walking distance to the main beach yet having tons of privacy. None. First property that I really dont have any complaints.
