- Alfredo (2/5): - This place was flooded by the hurricane. Every ground floor room had piles of furniture, toilets, and bathtubs out front. It appeared to be condemned. How do I get my money back?
- Nancy (2/5): - Through the internet, they took my $ and gave me my room reservation/confirmation the night before —but when I got there after hours of travel, only construction workers from out of town were there. There were no walls, no plumbing… I could see right through the building!!

- Caroline (2/5): - This Motel 6 IS NOT EVEN OPEN!!!! Apparently damaged during the hurricane (a number of other hotels in Tampa also) and arrived to a parking lot full of flood debris and other people with reservations that were as shocked as we were. Not a room to be had in Tampa! Called the reservation line for Motel 6 and even THEY were not aware that this hotel was trashed! Please make note of this situation for your Expedia customers!!!!

We have been here 8 days and just received the fridge. The beds are comfortable but it is the only thing good.
The owners are beyond description terrible. They are here for the MONEY only. Carlos is the only one helping the people staying here. I worked in this field many years ago and what is happening here is terrible.

- Nina (10/5): - I really feellike everyone who works at this Motel6 really care about their customers because they take the time to listen when we have a concern. That really matters, especially nowadays when everything is extremely expensive. It means alot when they decide to work with & say ok, check out is at 11am but say, Nina gets her paycheck on Saturday's and I can't pay until 3 or 4pm or later, they decide to work with me and so I like to keep my word & makesure they have their payment when promised. I don't have family and I dont know what I would do if I were to be put out on the street. There is always someone behind the desk to help and they are very courteous and nomatter what it is. I think 🤔 this Motel6 would most definitely benefit from having a ICE MACHINE & ALSO FIXING THE POOL FOR THE KIDS , SO THAT THEY CAN HAVE SOME ENTERTAINMENT...SOME PICNIC TABLES. I try to always refer people here because its hard to find good help and people who genuinely like to help people & dont bring their problems to work & treat people how they would like to be treated. MRS. NICOLE, MR. KUSH, MR.BOBBY, MR. CARLOS...ALL OF THE HOUSEKEEPERS, THE MAINTENANCE MAN WONDERFUL!
- Nina (10/5): - Everyone treats you like a member of a family instead of you feeling like you are amongst strangers at a buisness. If you need something theres is always someone sitting at the desk ready to help, day or night. The staff & house keepers always have a amile on their faces and they are always very respectful & courteous. I recommend Motel6 to my family & friends from back home in Brooklyn, N.Y & I feellike the prices are reasonable. If they would fix the pool & have a Ice Machine put in things would be even better & it would really help the buisness.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Room was unsanitary, unsafe, no refund/resolution - The gentleman at the office went to go check to make sure the room was ready. We had reserved online earlier. He returned with the room key. We walked in and found live and dead bugs. The shower curtain was balled up on the counter, unsavory items still left in the room and the stench was unbearable. We immediately turned around and talked to the man at the office who said we had to handle a refund with Hotels.com. We gave him back the key walked out and went across the street and stayed at another hotel. I spent the next several hours in the middle of the night on the phone and chatting with Hotels.com. They never resolved my issue. I don’t know if they took note of my complaint. They offered me a $50 rebate on my Hotels.com account which did not solve the problem of me having to spend twice as much on a hotel across the street so now I am out three times as much money as I should have been. I did not accept the $50 credit because I am still waiting to resolve this issue fairly. I am pleased to write this review and hope to hear back from Hotels.com.

The room we were given was infested with bedbugs. there were exposed wires on the door and overall a very unsafe environment with someone knocking on our door late at night asking about a 'party'. - Christina (2/5): Terrible hotel - Terrible hotel! We chose this place because we were driving through and just needed a place to sleep for a few hours. It was cheap and we've stayed in many Motel 6's. This property was disgusting. Tons of cigarette buts and trash everywhere. Bed sheets were stained and room was not very clean. Would never stay here again!
- Joseph (4/5): Stay far, far away - The front desk staff were very nice. That’s the only good thing I can say about this place. It is in horrible condition. It needs knocked down and a new hotel built in its place. They advertise a pool. Well, the gate is chained shut. Staff said, “it is closed for maintenance and will open in 2-3 days.” Five days later still closed and no “maintenance” was observed. No microwave in room. You have to use the one in the front lobby. It looks like a haven for homeless crack heads and pot smokers. They are all wandering around the property acting strange. There is a constant smell of marijuana EVERYWHERE on the property. I had my 12yr old daughter with me. I was fearful for her safety and never let her out of my sight for even 1 second. Unless you are a shady drug addict I would not come here. I will never come here again, that’s for sure. You should run far, far away as fast as you can from this hotel. Hotels.com, please remove this property from your list. It’s disgusting. You give yourself a bad name by associating with them. I will certainly do more research next time I use your booking service. I wish I took photos of this experience to attach to this review.

- Dominic (2/5): Slum hotel - I had made a reservation online later than normal due to the chaos that is my everyday life..... Upon arriving, there was a number on the window. Shortly after calling the number, the guy who works the front desk came speeding around the corner!! Then proceeded to tell me that the owner locked the keys inside and used a screwdriver to break into the lobby. Meanwhile one of the "housekeepers" (who was incredibly unprofessional and under - dressed) and her kid came over and talked about the child "being able to fit through the window."
Once checked in the room I got (that had microwave and fridge in the description that I chose specifically for those amenities) didn't have the fridge, microwave and the AC didn't work and blew hot air. I told the guy at the desk and moved rooms. the next room also didn't have those amenities that I paid extra for. I'm throughly disgusted by the stay, and don't recommend getting a room here.

Pulled sheet off and used pregnancy test came out with it. No battery in fire detector. Only received 2 towels for 3 people for 2 days. Refused to give me a discount. Was told that they dont always give you what you book. So when you book here good luck cause you dunno what your actually getting...

- Brandon (2/5): - The office was locked when I arrived, but I could see the agent in the next room with her kids and a few others. She made me wait almost 40 minutes to unlock the doors as 'she was on her break.' I totally get her deserving a break, but making me stand in the heat after Ubering there without even letting me inside was not the best experience. Upon getting to the room it was filthy. The shower was covered in mildew and there was nail polish all over the counter and mirror. Several of the outlets didn't work so it was hard to get a lamp working. The room had flying bugs, maybe termites all over it that made it hard to sleep. In addition, there were no towels or a blanket in the room. All attempts to call the office or head down there were unsuccessful so I had to dry off with a dirty shirt. It just was not an acceptable experience.

All the walls and furniture were banged up with holes in them. I left and didn’t come back, stayed at the holiday inn instead. Seems like the kind of place illegal activities take place. Gross!
