• Kenneth (1/5): Horrible experience - The hotel would not answer the phone. We had car trouble on the road and would not arrive till 3am. I tried an tried to let them know I was still coming. I ended up renting a different place to be sure I had a room for my family. The hotel still changed me for the room.

• Sheila (10/5): Great small town hotel - The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. Plenty of great options. The hotel was clean and smelled good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our only issue was with the mattress. It wasn’t terrible but it was more firm than we are used to which caused my husband and me a little discomfort. Overall our experience was a good one and I would recommend this small town hotel over many I’ve stayed in that I would have expected more from.

The pool was closed down, the elevator was very slow and smelled like throw up, there were crumbs in the bed, the door knob was broken so you couldn’t use it to shut the door or it would fall off and had a hole through the door right above it.

• Verified traveler (8/5): In need of maintenance - My coworker and I stayed here for 2 days for a business trip. Unfortunately, our job involved working overnight and sleepng during the day. The beds werent terrible, but the cooling system did however dissapoint. I know we've entered peak heat season in Texas but the ac never managed to reach below 72°. Not intolerable but warmer than we'd prefer. The shower had mold forming in the caulked joints, and the exhaust fan in the restroom did not work. Overall, we were able to get some rest and continue our scheduled work routine.

The water drained good. The water temperature was good. The tiolet was clean. The front desk clerk was attentive. The hotel you can tell needs some TLC but all and all a good nights rest for a one night stay. I would recommend a new ironing board in the room we stayed in. Room#200.

On this particular trip it felt like we were being looked down on. We had bought a new home and were coming in to empty our 3 storage units out at the lake and so whenever we’d get finished up, of course we’d be sweaty when we got back, but when I’d ask a question to the lady at the front desk, she’d treat me like I was beneath her and that really didn’t make me feel good at all. After this, we started staying in Sherman for all our other trips.

Mold around tub tile. Housekeeping knocked on door at 10:00 and check-out wasn’t until 12:00. I paid Expedia at time of booking. But the hotel charged me for the room too on the card I left for incidentals when I checked in. Couldn’t get anyone on the phone so had to go through corporate.

• Lynette (8/5): - We stay here anytime we come to Bonham because it’s honestly the BEST hotel there is in town. We’ve been staying here since it opened and things you can always count on here are consistency of a clean room, nice hot breakfast each morning, beds are still pretty comfortable; which is a HUGE plus when you’re sore from a long road trip, and they are pet friendly and since we travel with our yorkie, this is a big deal! One more thing that is a plus is the indoor pool! It’s always been clean and when we flew in with other family, my parents were able to swim with our little granddaughter and they all had an amazing time! If you’re making a trip to Bonham/Fannin County, this is where you’ll want to stay!

• K3594PYjeffg (6/5): Decent if you can get past the employees smoking - The hotel and grounds are clean, groomed and the staff are friendly. There are more employees at this hotel than a property four times its size. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the shower was awesome. The cons being that the lobby, breakfast area and the breakfast itself smelled of cigarette smoke. While drinking coffee, the attendant went outside to smoke with the front desk lady MULTIPLE times. To play it safe, I decided to take a cinnamon roll upstairs but they had been removed. Asking the attendant about more, she said " I had to throw them away". About that time, an employee with pink and blonde hair comes out of the kitchen with a whole tray of cinnamon rolls and takes them to her car. You just can't make this up.

Commute was easy because it is located right off the highway. We booked weeks before we were to be there and paid in full at the time , however as we arrived we hade to pay a deposit as well . We were told it would be reimbursed after we leave . It has been over a month and have not gotten it back . When called about we were told that , it is not their policy to give the deposit back .
