- Jessica (10/5): A beautiful hotel and experience - The hotel was very clean and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful

- Michael (8/5): - Very nice public area with open fireplace, cosy atmosphere; nice spacious rustic room with very nice beds; good local breakfast; friendly staff rather pricey
- Jose Gabriel (10/5): -
- Guillermo (9/5): -
- Angelica (10/5): We loved our stay! - Awesome property! We loved everything!
- Garcia Rascon (10/5): -
- Laura (9/5): -
- Ana (10/5): Wonderful! - The ambiance was very relaxing, the nights were quiet and the mornings were peaceful. The staff was very accommodating, even giving us towels late at night. Everyone was very nice. Everything was perfect.
- Michael (8/5): Comfortable stay in Creel. - Very large rooms. Bed is really comfortable. Lots of hot water. The hotel arranged a car to take us to the train station. There is parking in front of the rooms.
Very nice stay.
- Klikes2travel (10/5): Lovely stay in a very large room - It was a real treat to stay at the Quinta Mision hotel as the rooms were extra large. You can't even call them rooms as they were more like apartments. The bed was comfortable and the sitting area was large enough to accommodate a family. The shower had great water pressure. The dinner menu was limited but the food was delicious. During our stay, we were not offered the breakfast buffet likely due to the small number of guests.
Location was within a short walking distance of the main street where there were various restaurants, cafes and shops.
Be sure to check out the Creel museum at the train stop. Exhibits are contemporary and well designed.
- Oscar (9/5): Superb -
- SVLondonuk (4/5): Miserable and tired place - We arrived around 9 pm! The receptionist was not interested, and the bar closed. The room was large and comfortable. I didn't eat at the hotel, so I can't comment.
The taxi company advertised on the hotel website ripped us off - DO NOT USE THEM.
- John (9/5): Awesome room - A little far walk into town.
- Eduardo (9/5): Superb - the only bad thing is that lnly hot water came out of faucets and shower, very hot!
- Mike (10/5): Had a great time in Creel and staying here at Quinta Mision made it that much better, I would definitely come back and w - clean, spacious, well maintained, friendly staff N/A
- Daniel (10/5): Great! - Great location, nice rooms, excellent service hot water in the shower not that great it was not hot
- caras770 (8/5): good hotel option in Creel - Pros:
- The room heat and shower water temperature in our room was insufficient, we complained in the morning and they moved us to another room.
- They included transport FROM the TRAIN station (waiting for us, did not have to ask for it) and TO the BUS station (had to ask for it).
- Lovely wood stoves and a fireplace!
- Fresh fruit is available for breakfast.
- Mattress and pillows were comfortable.
- Room heating in the floor is a lovely detail.
Cons:
- All rooms should have proper heating and hot water.
- Juan (9/5): Superb -
- Dustin (10/5): Exceptional - absolutely beautiful room with the jacuzzi
- Alexandra (6/5): Pleasant -
- AndrewNicolls (8/5): The best in creel - There is no great hotels in Creel but this is perfect. Huge room, fabulous bed, hot tub! Lots of hot water. Very quiet but walking to town. Old fashioned but clean, we sort of loved it and the copper canyon is incredible
- erickh824 (10/5): Great place - We spend the night there to see lake arareko, san ignacio mission, valley of frogs, valley of fungi. The bed was super comfy, and they had a good mexican breakfast buffet. Would recommend this place to go back
- maritimeexplorer (8/5): Great Hotel - Lousy Internet - Creel is one of Mexico 'Magic Towns', but not because the town itself is great, but because of the many outdoor activities nearby. That attracts tons of young adventurers who are more interested in hostels and cheap digs than a quality hotel. For that reason Quinta Mision is a real pleasant surprise.
The rooms are enormous in size with a big sitting area, including outdoor patio on the ground floor rooms. There is also a full kitchen area. The lobby, restaurant and bar are all decorated with local art. The breakfast buffet was outstanding.
The only qualm was that the internet would only work in the lobby.
Definitely the best place to stay in Creel if you are over 40.
- karolvette (8/5): Large and bright - Nice large rooms with enough beds to sleep for or five folks in one room, but we reserved two rooms. Reception did not ask whether we were checking into both rooms and so we stayed in just one. But they were ready to charge us for both. We were turned away from the dining room, although the sign advertised a buffet serving for another half hour. The management did not apologize for these mistakes. We had a wonderful lunch and dinner too at the Best Western hotel down the street.
- arturosbaja (10/5): Very nice, very clean, huge rooms in Creel - This hotel is really nice compared to others in larger cities. It has excellent beds, a living room, good TV. Water in the shower is excellent. The courtesy breakfast bufet is awesome. Great place to stay. Highly recommend it.
- S2094HYrobertb (10/5): Great hotel - We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel. Very modern rooms, great restaurant and one block away from the train station that took us to Copper Canyon or Cañón del Cobre.
Creel is right in the Tarahumara’s mountains. Deep culture with profound philosophy, although living in poverty.
This is a trip to the past when native Americans roamed the continent. They are still living today with the dignity and strength of the other groups that have been sent to reservations in the US.
This trip was an eye opener and this hotel is a jewel in the Sierra Mountains of western Mexico.
- tmelesky (8/5): Very nice room! Probably the best hotel/motel room I’ve stayed in for ages! - Great room. Probably the largest hotel/motel room I’ve ever stayed in; and I”m old and have travelled extensively! Nice veranda with tables and chairs to relax on after a day out and about Copper Canyon. If only the WiFi had been more reliable it would have been 5 stars.
- whale1610 (8/5): The best hotel in the area - Very, very comfortable hotel - the best we saw, & were told, in Creel. Enormous room with two double pillow topped beds & warm duvets - definitely needed for our stay in May. Microwave & fridge in room.
There were very few people there at the time, but the bar & restaurant area had lots of charm. Staff were friendly & helpful. We booked our excursions through the hotel & special thanks to Martine, who was super friendly & spoke great English. He arranged a trip to the main sights in the area & one to Recohuata Hot Springs, both of which were well worth it. Our driver, Salvatore, on the dodgy road to the hot springs was exceptional.
- Helenjen (8/5): Nice place to stay BUT does it have working wifi? - It was nice to be met @ the station and taken to our hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming although not much English is spoken. Our welcome margarita was a nice touch! The hotel is in a great location to downtown shops and restaurants, yet quiet for a good sleep. We loved our spacious room with very comfortable bed, hot shower, and a very efficient quiet heater. The sheets unfortunately had been washed in a very strong detergent and the scent was overpowering. The towels were reasonably soft by Mexican standards but again the heavy chemical scent! Having a microwave, coffee machine and mini kitchen and dining area meant we could make our own breakfast and drink the tap water!!…bonus....what more could you ask for? How about wifi that works....it was barely operational (could receive some emails intermittently but couldn’t send at all) don’t think the hotel should advertise that there is the facility if it doesn’t work, very disappointing and extremely frustrating. Perhaps they need a booster or some facility to improve it….the restaurant just up the road worked perfectly! The hotel would have got a much better score if the wifi was as advertised.
- 746gildaw (10/5): Comfy hotel - It's an eco hotel. Our room is overlooking the turbines. Very spacious room with microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. All these kitchen small appliances helps in making your breakfast when you're catching the early chepe train.
- HappyWren_2014 (10/5): Lovely peaceful - Beautiful rooms, spacious, very comfortable beds, friendly staff, good restaurant.
Plenty of parking, security and guard dogs (actually pets).
Great location, just far enough away from the noise and activity of Creel which can be very busy during high season (tourist).
All they need are Hummingbird feeders in the trees outside the rooms.
- raulcaba (6/5): Contrasts... - When arriving at the hotel, the outside really surprised by its bad impression. Suddenly, upon entering the room we find a pleasant feeling of spaciousness and luxury. However, the room does not have adequate ventilation. You feel an enclosed environment all the time. No matter how much you open the door, the air does not circulate. The water, I understand that it is recycled, but when using the jacuzzi, seeing gray water is not attractive.
Dissapointing...
