No shower curtain in the bathroom, we had to call front desk. Staff was not very professional, she answered just hello. Not how may I help you for ex: Hello, front desk, how may I help you. No elevator, but they did get someone to carry up our bags. Parking lot needs to be replaced, very bumpy. The whole hotel needs to be refurbished or replaced. This is a resort town & I think this hotel should reflect the area.

The beds were not comfy and there were alot of insects and cobwebs throughout the rooms. The back patio door was broke and the pool wasn't even open.
Jennifer (8/5): No complaints - I read some of the reviews and I was concerned about our stay. The fragrance I noticed was familiar from other businesses I have done business with. It seems to be quite popular these days. The yard was perfectly groomed and there was easy walking to the lake. It wasn’t the Ritz hotel but I didn’t pay for the Ritz. Just don’t gouge your customers like all the other’s seem to do and you will have my repeat business.

IVEY (8/5): - Solo trip female 56. I never do reviews but just some fyi’s. The property has a second floor but no elevator. I have several bags and the worker there just said no elevator and walked away the courteous thing to do would’ve been to offer assistance. The room was clean bedding and fixtures very outdated like from the early 80’s. Comfortable enough though. The description stated daily housekeeping nope not so. I parked directly out front the first night to wake up to a damaged door handle where someone tried to get into my car they need security out to just pay attention since again I was directly in view of the registration counter. Balcony was nice with table and chairs would’ve been nicer had they dusted and got the cob webs.. oh a few on the ceiling inside the room as well. A little sprucing up and training the staff to be helpful and this establishment will thrive. I saw maybe three cars but never saw any other guest from detail to Sunday but the hotel next door was packed and full of life.

Staff was extremely helpful when we first arrived and found that our booked room was very small. She showed us a couple of other options and hurried to clean the room that we chose. Only critique is that the breakfast buffet was rather sparse. Only fruit was apples. No cocoa, no oatmeal. Not particularly appealing pastries.

Infract, we had trouble opening the door because the in-room furniture was placed so close to it the door wouldn't open wide enough to gain entry with luggage. My wife had to squeeze in and move a chair that the door was hitting so we could open it. The windows were broken and full of insects. The carpet was dirty soiled and should have been replaced long ago. The refrigerator was frosted solid and could only use the bottom section. The bathroom was also tiny. The bathtub was really small. There's no way we could have taken a bath. While adjusting the shower head, it fell off. The outside premises around the building and back deck was loaded with cigarettes, cups and trash. I had to clear an area for my and my wife to sit free of litter. It was really disgusting. ...................... NEVER AGAIN!!!.......................... I'll stop here because I know nothing is going to change. You got your money. Thanks again for a horrible Labor Day Weekend. Respectfully Submitted.
Donna (1/5): Don't waste your money. - The view The shower curtain was molded at least 6 in up the curtain. There is no remote for the TV. I rented a Jacuzzi suite, and it didn't work.. stains in the carpet. The bed was so hard that it was like laying on the floor.

Couldn't sit on our porch area due to spider webs. The hot tub was misleading, and the smell was awful. We couldn't swim in the pool cause of the bugs in it. We made lemonade out of lemons and made the best of our stay.

Inspire786546 (2/5): Hotel Nightmare - This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, there were dirty towels under the sink, feces, and blood on the wall, spiders, and spiderwebs. In every corner dust, the refrigerator didn’t work, we reported all of this when we checked out, we only stayed one night because of this The management seemed not to be so worried about our complaints, and when I emailed the manager, I got no reply. It’s been almost 3 weeks now so I am posting on here, this hotel is a nightmare stay away.

If you want a fancy smancy hotel, this isn't it but if you want a nice clean room and friendly staff you can't go wrong. Beautiful view of the lake and a well kept pool. I would definitely stay again.

Chandler (6/5): Very deceptive advertising, not worth the price! - The area in the back was nice, the bed was comfortable. The room looked nothing like the photos,there was no furniture other than a table and two chairs,it smelled bad, tub was gross, paint and plaster was peeling and crumbling from the ceiling,there was no iron in the room, late checkout was not an option. Nothing was as I expected after looking at the photos, it was very disappointing.

Smell like terrible cleaning solution. Thin sheets. No hot water. Was told from staff she thinks for that room you have to pull up and out. She thinks to get hot water. Pictures of hotel are not ever to be expected. The breakfast, if you like packaged pastries, and a waffle machine that still has crumbs from the day before , go for it. And, if you are sitting near the front desk and get yelled at from a guest because you are just sitting there on your phone and they want ice, and you are just a guest and they think you work there because you are sitting there , you should bend over for them as a guest. And when you tell them where the ice machine is, they still yell.

Towels were dirty, used bar of soap was still in the shower, Found bed bug on the head board. Check out immediately. One of the rooms door didnt even locked properly. No deadbolt to use so anyone with a master key could walk in at any point in time.
