- Lan (10/5): - The Jeweled Turret Inn ranks in the top tier of bed and breakfasts. This was our first trip to Maine, so we chose Belfast as one of our destinations. The Inn is located a short walk from the harbor and downtown. It is in a wonderfully maintained historic home, beautifully appointed and immaculate. Coffee on the veranda was delightful and the breakfast delicious. If you need a place to stay in the Belfast area, you can't go wrong with this one. It's also a reasonable drive from Bath, Freeport and Portland for day trips. Highly recommend!

The innkeepers Cathy and Carl are extremely kind and hospitable. The breakfast provided is fantastic!
- Elizabeth (8/5): - The owners have done a wonderful job restoring this beautiful Victorian mansion. Antiques in the common areas, two lovely verandas for sitting overlooking beautiful grounds. Our room was very small, but the only one available when I booked, comfortable bed. Bathroom was completely renovated, pretty, and very well arranged. Would love to stay again, maybe in a larger room. The breakfast was outstanding, excellent blueberry muffins, Dutch pancake, large selection of fresh fruit. Host/owners are very nice.

- Richard (8/5): - The husband Carl was very personable but his wife Cathy was not & as she was the cook - the breakfast was very disappointing, ie, the first day coffee was weak, fruit was fresh & tasty - but 1/2 a waffle with a dollop of whipped cream & 1/2 strawberry was not acceptable for a New Enland breakfast! The coffee again weak the second day the fruit was the same but a cup cake size of a quiche w/ vermicelli & no meat either day was not exceptible at a rate of $250/day!! The bed was very soft and not comfortable for a good night's sleep!!

- Joseph (10/5): We will be back! - Oh my goodness, what an adorable place! Stayed two nights in this lovely little B&B! Hosts were friendly and helpful, breakfasts were wonderful, and location was perfect. Walk to the little town or to the waterfront for some shopping or dining. The home is decorated perfectly. A few things to take note of: the fireplace is not a working one, our bathroom while private was down the hall, and no television in the room. We didn't mind this, but some may.

I have an older house myself and to see the pristine condition was amazing!! The room was gorgeous and felt like I was in a museum. The breakfast the next day was both unique and delicious!! It was on this stay that I realized that B&Bs are the original AirBNB and realize that there is a level above a superHost! Cathy and Carl seem like an amazing team and I really hope we can come back in the future!!

- Sharon (8/5): Up the pandemic precautions, please - It was a very nice Inn. But during a pandemic, I would’ve liked more precautions such as washable duvets covering the bedding. Dust covers for the pillows under the cases. Unless of course, it’s aaalll washed in between stays? The food was delish but to serve it at a common long table with other guests (unknown to me) without social distancing seemed nonsensical. Small tables in separate rooms or out on the porch would be ideal. Any other time, 5 stars! During a pandemic, without going a bit further with precautions, 4 stars.
