• Loretta (2/5): - I was told when we checked in that we had been given an upgrade. If that was an upgrade I would hate to see the other rooms. Our room was dirty, not much worked, lighting was scarce, spiders were everywhere. Just not at all what we expected after reading the reviews and looking through the pictures..we were glad to leave there..

Got to our room and wanted to go directly to bed, but there were 3 guys who took their tv and video games outside there motel door and were load and playing just outside our door....annoying and and the front desk just let them. Won't stay there again, didn't get to sleep until after midnight.
• Benjamin (8/5): - Room was nicer than the appearance of the outside dictates. Was very pleased with condition and cleanliness of the room. Only drawback was the height of the showerhead. I’m 6ft tall and the showerhead was around 4 1/2ft. Was on my knees to wash my hair and face. Maybe install an adjustable showerhead. I feel the property itself could use some cosmetic help. Spruce up the landscaping a little, do something with abandoned pool and get some letters for the sign. But as far as the the room itself, which is the most importantly part, I was happy.

• William (8/5): - Although it doesn’t look like much from the outside, this motel was a clean, comfortable bed for weary travelers. It is a couple miles outside of town so nothing is walkable. They have renovated the rooms so there are usb ports, new microwave and refrigerator, etc. There was no coffee in the room, but it was available in the lobby. There was also no ironing board, though I don’t generally use one. We would probably stay here again if in the area.
• Jadah (10/5): - Rooms were comfy, the only amenities were the in room mini fridge and microwave and check in area ice machine and coffee maker. No vending, no usable pool, few miles from any food service. Not bad if you only want sleep and a shower.
• Marta (4/5): - The property is very run down. The sheets and pillows were stained, as were the towels. The bathtub did not drain. The skeleton of a pool sits outside perhaps hearkening back to a brighter time of this establishment. The carpets were also stained. There were dead bugs on the ceiling in the bathroom. The staff was nice, and she understood my concerns, and I cannot blame her. But the property is not one I would recommend, especially at this price point. I wasn't looking for fancy, but I was looking for functional, and I did not get that.

I was pleasantly surprised when walking into the room as it looked just like the photos online. The room also included a table and chairs, mini fridge, and a large dresser.

• mark (10/5): Excellent - The bed was very comfortable and seem new. The overall place was very clean and looks freshly painted. The ice machine was available along with coffee or tea in the morning and even a banana. I will definitely be coming back and staying here again.

Overall was very impressed with the firmness of the beds, the ease of a room right off the parking lot. Bathrooms reminded me of the early 80s with the tile but they were clean.

It was a little farther out of town than I would like but it's not so far to be totally inconvenient. We were able to see and do what we wanted to. The cost was much better for our budget as apposed to the other options available. We would most definitely stay there again.

The air worked great, bathroom was small but everything worked and it was clean, bed was comfy and clean ( no signs of bed bugs ) mini fridge and microwave worked. 1 Major complaint they should not even advertise they have a continental breakfast. 3 mini muffins, 3 old slices of bread, & 3 bagels is NOT a breakfast. I suppose it's the thought that counts. Overall tho we did sleep well and thankfully I bought Jimmy Dean sandwiches for breakfast. For the price I would stay here again

• Thomas (8/5): - Nice initial appearance. Just don’t look close or you’ll see the old screw homes unfilled and the less than professional drywall repairs. I blame the work crew for their poor craftsmanship. The mirror and shower head were too low for my 6’2” frame. Bed was comfortable. There’s very little to do in Manistique other than stare at the water and ride your ORV. It’s not a vacation destination, but more of a hub. Any kind of recreation, retail and dining is a minimum 70 miles away. I would recommend Wheatley’s in downtown for drinks and appetizers. The small casino nearby is a smoke filled disappointment.
