• Michael (2/5): Don’t give this hotel your credit card. - I don’t normally give bad reviews but anyone that thinks about staying at this hotel should be warned that you may be charged more than you agree to pay at Hotels.com. They charged me $20 extra because my children are college aged. I had told Hotels.com that we had 4 adults for 2 queen beds, but the Best Western charged me extra regardless. After an hour spent on the phone with Hotels.com I was able to get a $20 credit from them. This hotel just can’t be trusted with your credit card for incidentals. As for comfort, the bed is old and bowed toward the middle. The AC was loud and sounded like a blender all night when it kicked on. One of the lamps had a burned out light bulb. The room only came with 3 towels for 4 people. The staff was friendly but the management can’t be trusted with your credit card information. They admitted that they have an argument with a customer almost every day about this policy. Avoid this hotel.

The room was very spacious and clean. The atmosphere was very comfortable. The staff was professional and friendly. The breakfast was very good. Ms. Annie keeps the breakfast fresh and clean. She is such a friendly soul. If you are in Flatonia area this is the place to stay!

• MonteNeece (10/5): Great hotel choice for local touring. - If you are visiting the Painted Churches of Texas, this is a perfect choice for your stay. It's centrally located. There is a wide variety of excellent restaurant options. The hotel is immaculately clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious.

Air conditioner had and kept room nice and cold. Staff friendly and accommodating. Hotel nice and clean and room amenities always fully supplied. Good location and feel very safe there. Have option of bath or shower.

My son is disabled and the pool handicapped chair was not working and my son attempted to get out of pool and since he has a le amputation his only leg slipped on steps and went under water, my grandson was able to help him out. At the end of our stay they told us one of the room hadn’t been paid through expedía and she charged my card without authorization.

The bed is very comfortable, and the sheets are very high quality cotton percale. They didn't cheapskate on window treatment either. There is plenty of drapes so you can easily control how much light you get in the room. It was a wonderful experience to us.

• fyshorman (10/5): Halloween night stay - Hotel is very clean very quiet and very relaxing. My wife loved that she could roll her wheelchair all the way in the shower. Beds were at little high for my wife. The night attendant made a box she could stand on to be able to get on the bed. I used a step I had in the truck throw . The hotel could look into getting a step to help getting into the bed but overall great hotel.
• txtechiegurl (6/5): Too humid - This place was very clean but the room was very humid so I felt sticky all night even after taking a shower. With it being humid outside, the last thing I expected is for it to be humid in my room. Speaking of the shower, the water pressure was very low, like barely coming out and the shampoo and conditioner and body lotion they leave you are barely enough for one person. The bottles were about the size of my pinky finger, literally!

Just... blah. The clerk was not personable at all, never made eye contact. The room wasnt very clean, the soap dish on the bathroom was filthy. The bed was very comfortable with nice sheets. AC worked great. Very quiet. Shower was great. When i checked out the night clerk was winderful! At 0500 he brought my room reciept to the side door where i was loading my car and took the luggage rack for me. Super nice and friendly!!

The room was very nice and there were plenty of outlets in the room. The breakfast was adequate. I would say average and about what you would expect and nothing outstanding.
• Sandy (4/5): Not a pleasant experience. - Reserved multiple rooms for the MS150. When we arrived, one of the beds was stripped but no clean sheets were put back on. I was so tired I just went ahead and slept in the other bed which appeared to be changed. In the morning, ready for a hot shower, no hot water! Not in my room or in any of my teammates rooms.

• Verified traveler (6/5): A bit Disappointed - Check in first night and no towels in bathroom, of course found that out once ready to take a shower and after unpacking to stay for five nights. Called front desk and was told sorry but she would not deliver towels to the room, if I wanted towels I had to come down and get. The A/C fan would not run continuously full time (even thou the button punched saying it would) , and the temostat on the wall did not work.
• roxyanneyoung (10/5): Clean, quiet, great desk team - This hotel was clean, quiet, and, as a solo female traveler, I felt safe and looked after. Desk clerk Adam got me into a great room and helped me sign up for the BW rewards program so I could get a better deal. The next morning, desk clerk Derek printed out the membership number for me along with my receipt so I could use it again in my journey across the country. I'd happily stay here again. This hotel was cleaner and nicer than the Hilton Garden Inn I'd stayed in the night before.
• Anthony (8/5): Solo getaway - Very pleasant stay. Just after checking in, i realized the TV wasn't working. I went down to the front desk and mentioned it to the front desk clerk, and without hesitation, offered to put me in another room and put that room out of service. You don't see that too often. Most others would attempt to fix it and usually waste time doing it. Will stay here again, no doubt.
• kdtexas2016 (8/5): Good location. - Clean hotel, easy access, no highway noise, well lit parking area, professional front desk staff, good coffee. Recommend I stay at this property. Don’t miss ‘Darlin Diner’ in town for great breakfast or lunch.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - We booked 2 rooms. When we checked in we were given both room keys but when we went to go in to one of the rooms we were told by housekeeping it wasn’t ready. They got it ready fairly quickly however it was an inconvenience because we had a wedding we had to be at and we had to get ready. When we went to leave that same room’s door did not automatically lock from the outside. We let the front desk know and they said they would get it fixed but when we got back it wasn’t which meant our room was unlocked the whole time we were gone and anyone could have walked in it. 😟 Breakfast was meh. It was ok for what it was but have definitely stayed at better Best Western Pluses. The took not locking was a big ugh!

• James (10/5): - Everything has been awesome. Our room is beautiful and clean. It’s very quiet even though it’s a Saturday night. My daughter had a bit of an accident involving the elevator door and the gentleman at the front desk was really responsive and even gave my girl a free bag of chips for her bravery. The only bummer is that the hot tub wasn’t functional, but to me that’s not a huge deal.
• Natalie (10/5): Would Stay Again! - Clean and comfortable stay. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and polite. The front desk was very helpful fixing an issue we had with payment and made sure we wouldn’t be charged twice! Continental breakfast had plenty of options. We didn’t visit the pool, but it looked clean and other guests seemed to be enjoying it!

• Jill (4/5): Unattended front desk & lots of weed - First desk associate was ridiculously rude and flat out lied to us regarding checking in guests, cable tv, remotes, ect. After a four hour unresolved issue she “managed” to find another room for us to move to. Leaving the front desk unattended overnight and smoking week under the vents out front left a lot to be desired.
• whowrotethat (4/5): Needs improvement! - Pro: spacious room, comfortable bed and pillows. Con: Overall cleanliness is hit or miss. There was trash on the floor behind a chair and behind the bed. Stay safe and bring your own disinfectant wipes for the tv remote, toilet handle and door knobs. The thermostat did not work properly. The fan would not stay on and the system never cooled the room to the set temperature. Maintenance is slack at best. The shower heads need to be REPLACED! We have stayed here on business several times and every room has a terrible showerhead with clogged openings that cannot be adjusted to a satisfactory spray. New showerheads are not a capital expenditure and make a great difference in comfort for weary travelers. The towels are thin and small...better towels would be welcome as well. The "breakfast" is miserable. The same fatty sausage floating in grease with prefab scrambled "egg" product every day. Staff is inattentive, items run out and are NOT replaced. We had to ASK for bread to toast, the desk clerk told us WE COULD GET OUR OWN from the kitchen as they were out of baggies! She DID NOT even offer to get it for us! It was OK for us to put our bare hands into the bread bag but the staff couldn't put bread out except in a baggie? I couldn't believe it! The desk clerks were indifferent, not flat out rude but clearly not interested in accommodating guests. A landscape crew was working on the grounds while we were there. They parked a truck across 3 spaces right in front of the hotel and left it overnight. We told the desk clerk it was blocking our access to guest parking and needed to be moved. The clerk did not even make eye contact with us. He mumbled something or other, turned around and walked off! He didn't seem to understand why it was not OK for hotel maintenance people to take up guest parking! The staff needs a major attitude adjustment here, they are butt lazy and just don't care.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Failure of great expectations ! - The lobby and elevator were in need of cleaning - the breakfast was lacking- no yogurt - minimal bread choices - over heated scrambled eggs- no picante sauce:( 2nd morning about 7:40 am the coffee was empty - the girl at front desk says I don’t know if we have any more :( The dining area trash can lid was disgusting looking - hadn’t been cleaned from the day before :( The room was good sized and the mattress was definitely comfortable.
• Judith (8/5): - Beds were very comfortable. The shower did not have a lot of pressure and the ice machine did not work. Front desk at check in was very nice.
• Harry (10/5): One night stay - Staff and personnel were very friendly. Hotel is showing it's age but could be a lot worse. Stayed only one night as we were just traveling through.
• Allen (8/5): - Did not like that door would not lock. We reported but it was not fixed.
• knowland (4/5): - No staff at the desk when we arrived. sign said, please call which rang for a very long time until she came out. Ice machine had no ice on our floor. Getting to the Hotel, Entrance had pot-holes which was difficult to get through.

• Gayle (6/5): - If you want a clean comfortable room, then this fits the bill. I really wanted to use the hot tub, but it wasn't working, not sure about the pool. Don't count on any breakfast.
• Beverly (10/5): Great Hotel Stay! - Nice and clean hotel! Love that it was smoke free. A great value as a nice breakfast was included!
