- Marianna (6/5): it was all ok but overall too expensive for what it was - very comfy beds bathrooms was very small, not much space to put your things/hang your clothes, breakfast was ok but there was not much choice (just one type of egg, no fresh vegetables), rooms were lovely but there is no noise isolation, there was a family on the other side of the corridor ro our room and if they spoke loud we could hear it all.. (the building is lovely but just an old mountain hut type of thing) , it was all ok but overall too expensive for what it was

- Nayla (7/5): Charming and well located, if you don't mind what we missed. - A very charming old house, located in the center of a the charming village of Saint-Luc. It is very quiet, no road or car nuisance. The view from the restaurant and rooms facing the valley is spectacular.
The decoration is cute.
We came with a few friends, and they gave us rooms next to each others. The restaurant staff was nice and helpful. However the hotel manager was quite stiff, lacking warmth, humour and empathy in dealing with various requests. We always felt as if we were annoying him. A pity, and unpleasant enough for us not considering coming back.
There is not enough parking spots in front of the hotel, in which case you need to park it 10 min away in a paying parking.
- Monica (9/5): alpine home luxury - the refined and charming interior design that brings you to a previous century yet it is contemporary, warm and classy the spaces are a bit tiny but it is also part of its charm
- Pamella (9/5): Superb -
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gillian (4/5): Disappointing -
- Georges (9/5): Superb -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Très cosy. Magnifique décoration. Très bon repas.on reviendra
- N.F.A. (4/5): - The property is beautiful and so is the location. It hurts me to give a poor review but I have to do so because of the way I was treated upon arriving at the hotel - it was a rude and almost surreal unprofessional check in experience - coupled later with several mishaps in terms of hygiene and safety.
In fact, the special “covid-19” hygiene measures are not as advertised in their website. My room had obviously not been vacuumed as I stepped on a piece of glass shard that went right into my foot (the day before a big hike in the mountains), there was also part of an used cleaning sponge left in the bathroom with other people’s hair still on it.
The reservation department for this hotel is actually at the Bella Tola Hotel which is a more expensive property and it is clear that the Bella Tola does not treat their sister property with the same care. Bella Tola reservations people ignored my special requests and did not communicate them to this hotel, as if they were not important. It felt that nobody cared at either property.
To add injury, there was only one towel, only one single small duvet and a single pillow in the room. felt very “cheap” that they did that, especially as we obviously reserved for two.
I arrived at this property happy to spend a couple days in the mountains. Within minutes, they ruined my first night stay.
Therefore, I’m unhappy with my experience there. They failed us badly, and turned my precious time off into an ugly thing.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Liked everything about this hotel. Room was a little small.
- Thomas (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay with a beautiful, trendy room and very helpful staff. We left a pair of pants at the hotel by mistake and they were so kind in finding it and mailing it to us at our next destination without charging us - just the best customer service. Would definitely stay here again!
- Olga (10/5): Charming place! - This hotel was beyond all expectations. We have been there for 2 days hiking weekend.
Very friendly staff, breathtaking views from South facing rooms, clean and cosy. The restaurant at the hotel was a very (!!!) positive surprise. The funicular is 10 min walking distance from hotel, takes you to great hiking trails. Definitely recommend!
- Terry (10/5): Perfect Swiss mountain chalet - Great location for hiking in summer and snowshoeing in the winter. You also learn about our solar system thanks to the planets positioned along the walking routes at proportional distances from the sun.
- Roger (10/5): A little bit of peace and quiet! - A charming traditional mountain village hotel with stunning views, excellent food, wonderful friendly service in a lovely location.
- AUBIN (8/5): belle destination - Vue magnifique, hôtel reposant.
- Terry (10/5): Mountain-side Perch - St. Luc is a lovely village perched on a precipice above a valley. The Chalet Favre is one of the prettiest hotels in town and had a great deck for dining, overlooking the valley and mountains on the other side.
