- Stephen (9/5): Great place to stay - The hotel building is a grand old colonial house which has been very nicely done up and has tasteful plants and furniture throughout. There is a nice reading room area with balcony overlooking the sea. The room was nice and air conditioning was good. The en suite bathroom was good as well. The food in the restaurant was great. The staff were great as well. Location was good as well. The tv in the room was absolutely tiny and didn’t work properly as the remote was broken. There was very limited WiFi in the room.
- Marcus (9/5): - Nice and cozy atmosphere with a great indoor garden. Clean room, good location Not possible to open the windows.

- RJ (7/5): Pleasant Stay - Beautiful hotel with spacious room and beautiful view
Helpful front desk staff
Reasonable price for such notice Water wasn't provided in the room and blankets appear to be dingy. I don't doubt they are clean; however, whatever soap is used to clean blankets aren't keeping the blankets white

- Wenceslas (7/5): Still good but quality falling away - I was please to see some of the staff still remembered my previous visit nearly 12 months later.
The cleanliness still hold throughout. The front desk staff seem slightly ineffective and lacking in attention. Having to pay for good expression for breakfast is rather disappointing.

- Jane Rose (6/5): - Beliggenhed og restaurant super. Værelser meget små.
Receptionspersonalet uvenligt.
Ved checkout benægtede den kvindelige receptionist meget kategorisk, at vi havde betalt. Heldigvis havde vi kvittering. Ingen undskyldning.

- Betsy (10/5): A beautiful hotel with unique colonial architecture that really stands out. I loved the ambiance, and the customer serv - Siki Hotel is absolutely beautiful, with unique colonial architecture that gives it so much character. I truly loved the place. The customer service was excellent—staff were friendly, professional, and made the stay very comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Saint-Louis, Senegal.
- Fatim Aissatou (9/5): Great stay overall in a very charming place - The hotel is charming.
Very friendly, motivated and eager to help staff. They were very accommodating. We arrived late at night due to traffic and the restaurant was closing but they agreed to make an exception and they let us order some pizzas (excellent pizzas by the way - 100% do recommend!) to take out.
The room and facilities were clean and spacious.
The air conditioner in our room was amazingly quiet and efficient.
Location is unbeatable. There was a lingering sewer smell (that's normal in the island) when we entered our room but it went away after 1-2 hours.
If possible, more choices available at breakfast. It's a very limited buffet.

- Fatou (8/5): Tres bon hotel!!!
- Ali (8/5): My stay was short but great in a quiet, clean and safe place. Adding local foods will be a plus - The location is in a quiet place and the surrounding environment with the river and the restaurants nearby is very lively. I also find the place safe and the hotel restaurant good even though I would have love to find some local dishes There is not enough light in the room, no TV and the AC wasn't optimum. Beside the breakfast was not diverse enough and doesn't offer local food
- Tholulwazi (10/5): The BEST Hotel in SAINT LOUIS! I love it - Excellent Hotel that's very well located in the city centre and overlooking the lagoon. Clean area that reminds me of Havana, Cuba (those who know will instantly feel this when they arrive :)! Definitely book this place!

- Sarr (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff
- Temp (5/5): Disappointing - The hotel is clean and quite central and looks nice. I didn't try the restaurant other than for breakfast but it looked good. The breakfast was NOT very good, just basic and okay. The rooms were extremely dark and many things didn't work. For example, one of the two lights in my room didn't turn on (but it wouldn't help much with the darkness). Wifi was very weak in my room, barely working so I had to use a mobile hotspot. The shower would fluctuate in temperature. Overall, the place is not really worth the money.
- Khuluwd (8/5): Family getaway - Very well situated hotel. My family and I had 2 rooms so one had a large balcony looking over water. Would definitely stay another time and recommend this hotel. We wanted to buy a t-shirt the staff were waiting but unfortunately they did not have any available. Boxing gloves in african fabric on a black shirt. Loved it.
- Lalla (4/5): My stay was pleasant until checking out when I was literally harassed by the owner just when I said I need to check my b - I didn’t like the bathromm
- Kebe (6/5): Pleasant -
- René (9/5): Great place to stay. Also good in resto is top 👍🏻 - Great location. Staff really great. The guy that did check in was very supportive when we wanted a room with sea view. We got it 👍🏻👍🏻 Nothing to mention
- Maja (9/5): Excellent hotel with superb facilities incl. a nice lounge, nice room and good restaurant - Excellent facilities and room comfort and equipment. Had a very nice 1.floor lounge with excellent views over the water- a good place to relax in the afternoon Good location in walking distance to most attractions.
- Ken (10/5): A great value, and a very pleasant place to stay. - A beautiful, small, charming hotel, with an excellent staff, good food, and ideally located in Saint-Louis. Our room was comfortable, and the entire two-story building is sun-drenched. It's an excellent value. The shower tended to get the other areas wet, but this was not a big problem
- Azeezat (8/5): Very good -
- Altan (9/5): Superb -
- Carole (9/5): Atmospheric, friendly and relaxed - Lovely and neat and comfortable. Nothing to report
- Melanie (8/5): Quaint and authentic - It had a small and very authentic feel. It was very clean and comfortable. Our room had a sewage smell in the second day, otherwise it was great.
- Lipson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adama (9/5): We really had a great time at the hotel. I loved everything. - I didn’t like that the room didn’t come with fridge and kettle. These are necessities especially when travelling with kids.
- Luc (8/5): Very good -
- Reed (8/5): Very good - Staff were excellent, very helpful, and very patient with my poor french. The WiFi was pretty bad, constantly cutting out and not very fast when connected- as a business traveller this was a pretty big deal 🙁 on a related note, the chair for the desk in the room was very uncomfortable, and again as someone who was there for work not pleasure this was a big minus for me.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (6/5): Pleasant - The room was comfortable and fairly well appointed. The restaurant was really nice for dinner. I booked a room that described having a "terrace" but there were no terraces or balconies at all. There was a single window with no view that didn't really even open. The breakfast was really basic and lousy. I was surprised given how gourmet the evening dinner service was.
- Joanna (8/5): Very good -
- Sara (9/5): Superb - Very beautiful hotel with nice and clean rooms! Nice staff :)
- Ana (8/5): Very good - Central, nice place and good food Internet could have been better in the rooms. Bathroom didn't give much privacy as carved out from the room as it were. Staff could have more information about local taxis etc we enjoyed it overall. Thank you
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Storee (7/5): Good -
- Bonzanigo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Haldi (8/5): Very good -
- Lane (8/5): Very good -
- Audrey (8/5): Great experience in a historical colonial villa! - The historical references, the design, the fact that they kept the colonial house as it was built. A very beautiful establishment, nice terrace with a view on the bridge. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast could be improved. A tour of the hotel could be nice as the place is a historical building.
- Jessica (7/5): Good - Thé location and the rooms The breakfast
- Carsten (8/5): Best place to stay at Saint-Louis island - Best location to explore the island and nice view to the bridge. The hotel is beautifully designed. The restaurant offers delicious food. Guarded parking space in front of the Hotel. The pillows take some getting used to.
At the breakfast the cheese is not refrigerated and was probably on the buffet for several days. There was no salami or ham for breakfast, but the omelets are good.
- Dominika (9/5): A hotel with great character! - A very charming property in a great location. Staff were very friendly. The hotel also has nice restaurant. One small complaint that Wifi was spotty.
- Abdoulaye (6/5): A lot of potential, great location but needs some serious quality control from the owner. - The location is very nice right on the bed lake.
The patio is very nice as well, some plants and wooden floor great place to relax. Staff was very nonchalant: the lady at the reception was discussing early in the morning waking me up I complained the first day she was arrogant, and she said that there was no one talking.
The breakfast was very poor, no fresh Orange Juice for such a price, some fruits such as the melon was ripped I had to ask the guy to change it and the juice that was served was starting to be fermented
The room was not that clean dust and water marks around the toilet
- Katharina (9/5): Superb -
- Connor (7/5): Pleasant stay, avoid the breakfast. - Cute hotel with character and good location.
Would stay again. Unfortunately the other reviews claiming the breakfast was horrid are very true.
Not only was the offering scant, it seemed the ham was rotting or very close to going bad.
- Dietrich (8/5): Nice hotel in St. Louis old town with very good restaurant - Nice Hotel in the old town of St. Louis, with excellent Restaurant and excellent breakfast. Excellent service The small streets around can be quite noisy, even in the night, and the windows are not well isolated.
- Isabel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ndeye (7/5): Nice location - Great Location, beautiful design, great spot for pictures, a nice blend between African and western culture, a nice restaurant, special mention to Malick from Breakfast Team, he was nice and available all the time. Overall, the staff and management was available and open to remarks. They don’t have hand showers in the restrooms, cleanliness of one of our restrooms was not perfect, it is a little bit noisy in the night, there is no TV, the breakfast could be improved (yoghurt, apple sauce, real orange juice (freshly squeezed or bottled), more variety of bread, more variety of teas, beef sausages, etc…).
- Iuri (9/5): Superb -
- Olivia (5/5): Wouldn’t recommend. All seemed to be about - Breakfast average
Good coffee Very basic rooms. Cheap shoddy furnishings.
TERRIBLE PILLOWS
Owner didn’t have professional attitude
Everything seemed geared towards his own personal profit
- Amal (10/5): Exceptional - The location, the staff esp Malick who was so ever helpful! most things are a walking distance. There is a nice view of the bridge
- Elisa (8/5): Very good -
- Guy (9/5): Superb - We came for 4 nights and stayed 10 !!! That says it all. The location, the room, the bed, the restaurant, the cocktails, the lounge overlooking the river, the staff... Highly recommended.
- Balint (10/5): Exceptional -
- Illsley (7/5): Good -
