Thank you to the owners and staff. - The location was great and having a bar and restaurant on site was great (price and quality) We had a room at the front of the establishment, it was nice to have a balcony to people watch from, but a little bit noisy for a good night's sleep.

• Larry (8/5): - The room and bed were so comfy, the hotel has loads of character and we loved the room balcony and back shared patio. Hotel had books available and a lively restaurant and bar right in Old Town close to markets, other restaurants, monuments and shops. We're already planning a return visit. Just a FYI that there are one or two flights of stairs to access the rooms, worth the climb. Nothing 😊

L'unico lato negativo, che però non dipende assolutamente dall'hotel, è la presenza di topi in strada tra le buste della spazzatura lasciate dai locali dopo la chiusura.

• Bernie (8/5): Highly recommend hotel. - Booked one of the front rooms with balcony which was perfect. Good size, tea/coffee, fridge, kettle etc. LG smart TV with apps. Dressing table, good size shower. Very clean and serviced daily with clean towels etc. Good bar down stairs, seating out to street to people watch! Beer/food prices ok but happy hour 5-7pm makes cocktails very appealling. Large outdoor seating area at back, which noone seems to use but ideal for "quiet time". All staff very professional/friendly, they get a 10/10. Food served, western (breakfast, blts, fries etc) all good and fair price. Tried couple of their Thai dishes, which were presented well, very fresh made but lacked in flavour. I know you have to alter for western tastes but didn't suit me as I eat traditional Thai food, and enjoy flavours. Maybe a personal thing.

Toaringen var helt sprucken, det var mögel i badrummet och ytterdörren va inte helt tät så när man låste utifrån med hänglåset kunde man enkelt trycka in dörrarna en bit och se in. Men om man stängde inifrån var det med två skjutlås och en träpinne.

Also, the room had wooden doors which didn’t close off the room from the hallway resulting in hearing the neighbours and staff constantly
• Katja (8/5): Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis - Die Lage ist sehr gut, um Chiang Mai zu erkunden. Check-In und Check-Out waren unkompliziert und schnell. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber für den Preis völlig ok. Unten gibt es Sitzmöglichkeiten und uns hat das Essen in der Bar sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir fanden die Preise völlig in Ordnung. Das Personal war freundlich. Preis-Leistung hat gestimmt. Unsere Klimaanlage hat mal auf die Fernbedienung reagiert und mal nicht. Im Zweifel hiess es entweder unten Bescheid sagen oder selbst auf die Leiter klettern und die AC mittels Sicherung ausschalten. Und ja, der Hahn kräht aber wir konnten das ab dem 2. Tag ausblenden.
• jonty (9/5): Great stay, we recommend it! - The Travellers Arms was above a sports bar and had several cosy rooms. We were expecting it to be busy but we had no issues with noise. The room was great, it was spacious and had good aircon. The bed was good too so be both had a good nights sleep. Best shower we've had so far through 5 weeks in Thailand. Location was also really good as it was nearby temples, and close enough to walk to the river to celebrate the Loy Kathrong festival. There were a couple bugs in the room but nothing awful. Everything else was spot one! Would recommend staying here if you get the chance.
