Verified traveler (10/5): Habitación perfecta, camino algo solo, todo bien - La habitacion es muy bonita, a dos cuadras de la avenida principal, oscura la última cuadra en la noche pero no me sentí inseguro. Todo bien.

Richard (8/5): - Carolina at the front desk, breakfast and driver staff were all very nice, accommodating, and provided excellent customer service. Not very much around there if you arrive in the early evening as far as food or place to buy water/sodas. Dogs barked alot outside in the evening.

Shannon (10/5): Wonderful little place - We love this sweet place. Decorated so sweetly and comfortably. The beds were so comfortable!! It’s not for everyone as getting the shower warm and not cold or sizzling hot is not always easy. There are cracks in the logs for cold air although the heater helps! Breakfast cooked to our requests. We will come again.

Aarón (8/5): - Lugar tranquiloy accesible, solo no cuenta con calefacción y el desayuno se servía de acuerdo a grupos de personas del hotel. Nosotros no formamos parte de esos grupos y teniamos que desayunar a la hora establecida y se nos empalmaba con los tours contratados
luceila (4/5): - Mi reservacion la primera noche no se parecia nada a la asignada pasamos muchisimo frio, hice una reclamación y me cambiaron a una habitación climatizada al dia siguiente igualita a la que habia reservado. Que tristeza que no respetan las condición de reservas de expedia.
Rosana (6/5): Para dormir esta bien - Nos quedamos tres noches, la habitación de la primera noche no servía la calefacción. Las siguientes dos noches nos mandaron a otra habitación donde tampoco servia la calefacción pero nos prestaron un calentador y con eso mejoro mucho. No nos hicieron aseo durante la estancia y tampoco habia Internet.

Richard (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay. The only issue was when we walked into our room is was 40 degrees F. It took most of the night to warm up to a reasonable Temp. They knew we were arriving on the train so they could have turned the heat on for us. We thought the handmade linens were beautiful. Other than the initial lack of heat we thought it was a great stay.

Jason (8/5): Loved Taramuri - We stayed at the Hotel Taramuri 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The staff at this hotel are very kind and incredibly helpful. They helped us with arranging tours and booking Chepe express tickets. The train tickets were not easily booked and I don’t know if I would find another hotel staff that worked as hard as the one at Taramuri did. We did tours with Taramuri tours and had a lot of fun. Carlos was a great tour guide. The hotel is very clean and the beds are comfy. I loved the linens on the bed, a nice local touch. The food at the hotel is delicious and there was always plenty to eat at breakfast. Great location, close to restaurants and shops. A couple blocks away from the Main Street, so a close walk but far enough from the noise. You hear the occasional dog barking but nothing bothersome. Currently there is construction at the hotel to add another floor but it does not affect the comfort of the stay.
Verified traveler (10/5): Very good - This is a fabulous hotel. The staff are fantastic and a made an incredible effort to book us tickets on the Chepe Express. I was so impressed by the staff who managed the tickets, it was a time consuming and tedious task but she did not give up! The hotel is exceptionally clean the food is delicious. A great breakfast is served. We booked our tours with Taramuri and were quite pleased. The tours are reasonably priced ( better than most others in the area) and Carlos was a terrific guide. They are doing construction to expand this lovely hotel but it will not disrupt your stay. The location is very good, a short walk to many shops and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay!!
alberto (8/5): - muy cerca del centro, cómodo y ordenado pero le hace falta un mueble para colocar la ropa, la TV no sirvió y la limpieza no era muy buena, ej. el lavabo no lo limpiaban y como es de cristal se veía sucio. la atención de la dueña y los guías muy buena y atenta.

Stella (8/5): Quiet and clean accommodation - Greeted at train station and transported to hotel. Quick and efficient checkin. There is no food or drinks available onsite but all are available a quick walk away. This same company also owns a local tour company which they push aggressively.
Liz (8/5): Great Service - This is a family property where each child has their own hotel building. All work together to give you great service. I was taken to the hospital at midnight, and picked up an hour later when done. Not your typical hotel with check-in/our or lobby, but very friendly.

El tour que ofrecen es bastante agradable y accesible en costo. La verdad muy recomendable si no pretendes gastar mucho en Hotel.

Verified traveler (10/5): Nice room, walking distance to train station - Simple but nice room, plenty of blankets provided along with a heater. Showers were hot, room was kept nice and tidy, walking distance from the train station and main street. We booked a tour with the hotel, the guide spoke some English and told us about the highlights we saw. We could really take our time, no pressure. Recommend!
Patricia (10/5): Amazing value for money - The location is great, my room was massive with a big flat screen TV and a portable radiator. It was also cleaned every day. On my first night, the owner came to check on me and gave me his phone number so I could contact him in case there were any issues.
